Price: [price_with_discount] (as of [price_update_date] - Details) [ad_1] Indian classical music is one of the oldest forms of music in the world. It has its roots in diverse areas such as the ancient religious vedic hymns, tribal chants, devotional temple music and folk music. Indian classical music are on a one-note-at-a-time basis. Indian music is divided into two major classes of Hindustani (Northern Indian) and Carnatic (Southern India), the origins and fundamental concepts of both these types of music are the same. The form of presentation may vary between the two as well as from one gharana to another. The fundamental concepts that have to be understood at the outset are those of swara (musical note), a raga (a melodic concept of scale of notes) and tala (beats of timing or rhythm). Times music presents the musical compositions of the greats like Ustad Bismillah Khan Amjad Ali Khan, Ashish Khan and Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Hariprasad Chaurasia and Dr. N Rajam in the Hindustani style to illustrate the important features of Indian music. Also featuring the compositions of Rupak Kulkarni, Niladri Kumar, Rakesh Chaurasia, Abhijit Pohankar, Purbayan, Lakshay and Aayush Mohan Gupta. Tracks Listing1. This is a city on the banks of the Ganges or another word you say “Ganga Maa City”. Varanasi nickname is “The Spiritual Capital of India”. Varanasi grow as an important industrial centre, famous for its muslin and silk fabrics, perfumes, ivory works, banarasi sarees and sculpture. Buddha is believed to have founded Buddhism here around 528 BC when he gave his first sermon, “The Setting in Motion of the Wheel of Dharma”, at nearby Sarnath. Tulsi Das wrote his epic poem on Rama’s life called Ram Charitra Manas in Varanasi. Bhakti movements were born in Varanasi. Banaras have many Tourist Place where tourist or people can visit easily and enjoy the place, for example, Sarnath, BHU Campus, Temples, Malls, Ghats and many more things. In this city have many ghats where evening time people can see Ganga beauty and also people see Ganga pooja just like Dasaswamedh Ghats, Assi Ghats, and much more ghats. There are so many temples and nobody can believe that this city is third eye of God Shiva. In this city have many famous writers just like Sant Kabir Das, Ravi Das, and Tulsi Das. Acharya Shukla, Baidev Upadhyaya, Bharatendu Harishchandra, Devaki Nandan Khatri, Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Jaishankar Pradsad, Kshetresa Chandra Chattopadhyaya, Sudama Pandey (Dhoomil), Vagish Shastri and Vidya Niwas Mishra is aslo writers of Varanasi. Kulluka wrote the best-known account of Manusmtri in Varanasi in the 15th Century. Notable artists (like musicians and dancers) and historians who are connected with banaras are Anand Krishna, Bismillah Khan, musicians Omkarnath Thakur, Ravi Shankar, Girji Devi, Gopal Shankar Mishra, Gopi Krishna, Kishan Maharaj, Lalmani Mishra, N. Rajam, Rai Krishna Dasa, Siddheshwari Devi, Samta Prasad, Sitara Devi and Pandit Vikash Maharaj. In Benaras, festival is most important for every people and we tell you festival important. First Mahashivaratri, this festival of February and Mahashivaratri a procession of Shiva proceeds from the Mahamrityunjaya Temple to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Second is Dhrupad Mela, Dhrupad mela is a five days musical festival devoted to dhrupad style held at Tulsi Ghat in February to March. Third is Hanuman Jayanti, the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple celebrates Hanuman Jayanti in March to April and this jayanti refer to Hanuman God. The Ram Lila of Ramnagar is a dramatic enactment of Rama’s legend, as told in Rama Charitra Manasa. The plays sponsored by Kashi Naresh and performed in Ramnagar every evening for 31 Days. On the last day of this festival, the festivities reach a crescendo as Rama vanquishes the demon king Ravana. Kashi Naresh Udit Narayan Singh started this tradition around 1830. Nag Nathaiya is celebrated on the fourth lunar day of the dark fortnight of the Hindu month of Karti (October to November). It commemorates the victory of Krishna over the serpent Kaliya. On this occasion, a large Kadamba tree (Neolamarckia cadamba) branch is planted on the banks of the Ganges so that a boy, playing the role of Krishna, can jump into the river on to the effigy representing Kaliya. He stands over the effigy in a dancing pose playing the flute, while an audience watches from the banks of the river or from boats. Bharat Milap celebrates the meeting of Rama and his younger brother Bharata after the return of the former after 14 years of exile. It is celebrated during October to November, a day after the festival of Vijayadashami. Kashi Naresh attends this festival in his regal attire. The festival attracts a large number of devotees. Ganga Mahotsav is a five-day music festival organized by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, held in November to December. It culminates a day before Kartik Poornima, also called the Ganges festival. On this occasion the Ganges is attended by thousands of pilgrims, release lighted lamps to float in the river from the ghats. The primary Muslim festivals celebrated annually in the city are the ld-ul-fitr' (Ramzan), Bakrid, Shab-e-Barat, Bara Wafat, and Muharram. Additional festivals include Alvida and Chehlum. A non-religious festival observed by Muslims is Ghazi-miyan-ka-byaha ("the marriage of Ghazi Miyan"). Basketball, cricket, and field hockey are popular sports in Varanasi. The main stadium in the city is the Sigra Stadium, also known as Dr. Sampurnanda Stadium, where first-class cricket matches are held. Local cricket matches are also played on the BHU Ground, Dr. Bheeem Rao Sports Complex. The Physical Education Faculty of Arts of BHU offers diploma courses in Sports Management, Sports Physiotherapy, Sports Psychology and Sports Journalism. Gymnastics is also popular in Varanasi, and many Indian girls practice outdoors at the ghats in the mornings which hosts akharas, where "morning exercise, a dip in the Ganges and a visit to Lord Hanuman" forms a daily ritual. Despite concerns regarding water quality, two swimming clubs offer swimming lessons in the Ganges. The Varanasi District Chess Sports Association (VDCSA) is based in Varanasi, affiliated to the regional Uttar Pradesh Chess Sports Association (UPCSA). Varanasi other names are Benares or Banaras, Kashi and Mahadev ki Nagari. According to legend, Varanasi was founded by the god Shiva. The Pandavas, the mythic heroes of the Hindu epic Mahabharata, are said that he visited the city in quest of Shiva to atone for their sin of fratricide and Brahmanahatya that they had restricted during the climactic Kurukshetra War. It is believed as one of seven holy cities (Sapta Puri) which can provide Moksha; Ayodhya, Mathura, Gaya, Kasi, Karichi, Avantika, and Dvaravati are the seven cities known as the givers of liberation. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({}); The Ghats in Varanasi are world-renowned embankments made in steps of stone slabs along the river bank where pilgrims perform ritual ablutions. The ghats are an integral complement to the Hindu concept of divinity represented in physical, metaphysical, and supernatural elements. Varanasi has at least 84 Ghats, most of which are used for bathing by pilgrims and spiritually significant Hindu puja ceremony, while a few are used exclusively as Hindu cremation sites. Steps in the ghats lead to the banks of Ganges, including the Dashashwamedh Ghat, the Manikarnika Ghat, the Panchganga Ghat, and the Harishchandra Ghat, where Hindus cremate their dead. Many ghats are associated with Hindu legends and several are now privately owned. Many of the ghats were constructed under the patronage of the Marathas, Shindes (Scindias), Holkars, Bhonsles, and Peshwas. Most are bathing ghats, while others are used as cremation sites. A morning boat ride on the Ganges across the ghats is a popular tourist attraction. The extensive stretches of ghats in Varanasi enhance the riverfront with a multitude of shrines, temples, and palaces built "tier on a tier above the water's edge". The Dashashwamedh Ghat is the main and probably the oldest ghat of Varanasi located on the Ganges, close to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. It is believed that Brahma created this Ghat to welcome Shiva and sacrificed ten horses during the Dasa-Ashwamedha yajna performed there. Above and adjacent to this ghat, there are also temples dedicated to Sulatankesvara, Brahmesvara, Varahesvara, Abhaya Vinayaka, Ganga (the Ganges), and Bandi Devi, which are all important pilgrimage sites. A group of priests performs "Agni Pooja" (Sanskrit:"Worship of Fire") daily in the evening at this ghat as a dedication to Shiva, Ganga, Surya (Sun), Agni (Fire), and the entire universe. Special aartis are held on Tuesdays and on religious festivals. The Manikarnika Ghat is the Mahasmasana, the primary site for Hindu cremation in the city. Adjoining the ghat, there are raised platforms that are used for death anniversary rituals. According to a myth, it is said that an earring of Shiva or his wife Sati fell here. Fourth-century Gupta period inscriptions mention this Ghat. However, the current Ghat as a permanent riverside embankment was built in 1302 and has been renovated at least three times throughout its existence. The Jain Ghat: Varanasi is believed to the birthplace of Suparshvanatha (7th Tirthankara) and Parshvanatha (23rd Tirthankara). The Jain Ghat or Bachraj Ghat is a Jain Ghat and has three Jain Temples located on the banks of the River. It is believed that the Jain Maharajas used to own these ghats.Bachraj Ghat has three Jain temples near the river's banks and one they are a very ancient temple of Tirthankara Suparswanath. A medical institution is a health care institution imparting patient remedy with specialised medical and nursing personnel and clinical system. The exceptional-recognised form of clinic is the overall sanatorium, which commonly has an emergency branch to treat urgent health issues ranging from hearth and twist of fate victims to a heart attack. A district clinic generally is the major health care facility in its place, with massive numbers of beds for extensive care and further beds for patients who want long-term care. specialized hospitals consist of trauma centres, rehabilitation hospitals, kid's hospitals, seniors' (geriatric) hospitals, and hospitals for handling particular medical desires such as psychiatric treatment (see psychiatric sanatorium) and certain disorder classes. specialized hospitals can help reduce fitness care expenses in comparison to popular hospitals.
