It's 7:00 in the morning, we're starting back on love language!

Dmitri has a hard time showing affection in anyway, shape, or form. But, once you get to know him, there's a few things that'll Stat to form. Small tasks around the house get done, he'll take a chore away from them if he sees them tired and struggling, and randomly bumping into them on purpose. It's small things that some find annoying, but it's how he functions.

Grigori is much more open about his love language. Talking. Don't believe me? Comparing to when he's at work, or even at home with co-workers or family, he's near mute. Around someone he trusts a lot, he'll pop open a bottle of wine and start chatting about anything and everything. Can, and has, put someone to sleep.

Dr. Vin will ALWAYS show her affection through treating wounds and remarking about how her partner got them. A clumsy partner? She'll remark on it while treating a small cut. An active member of war? Lecturing them about safety while making sure they're going to live another day. Outside of this, however, she's awkward, but generally does the same thing of smaller tasks like Dmitri, but more directed towards her partner. She'll lay a blanket over her partner if they fell asleep on the couch, take care of them if they feel ill, and bring snacks around if they haven't eaten.

Galeforce is a harder one to read on how he feels or shows his affection. He's been in active duty for so long he forgets that he can relax, but, a good way to show his love is taking care of someone or something. Dogs? He'll treat them with special care to make sure they live a long, healthy life. Humans? He'll step in as a father figure, despite having no children himself. Family? For a long time, he was the immediate contact for almost all of his family, there to take care or assure them that everything's alright. He caters to needs of others, and enjoys it.

Hershell is a GIANT teddy bear of a man. He is very affectionate when it comes to expressing his love, and it stays true even with Johnny. Hugging, offering support, gifts. He loves showing that he will always be there. The only thing different between family and a partner is the amount of snuggling. Partner's can gain snuggles any time they want to. Same goes for family, but it's less requested of, mainly used in time of need.

Johnny is almost the exact same way as his father. The only difference between them is the fact that Johnny likes to talk to his partner, and trust me, he will talk an ear off about anything and everything. Again, giant teddy bear of a man.

Sorry to tag if you're the wrong person) threw around some "they're recently divorced and that's why The Wall has such poor medical care" with me and that kinda goes brr AND would sorta fit in with my headcanons!

Being Intentionally Vague: Dr. V was in an arranged marriage, shit happened that finally made her run away. Maybe she went to The Wall seeking shelter, and sold out her ex-husband, but that left her with no legal protections or insurance or anything so Dmitri offered- essentially a fake marriage. She accepted because she was in no state to be alone, and they sorta actually fell in love as time went on.

However, Dmitri was growing more aggressive towards his staff and angry due to frustrations with the Toppat Clan and Dr. V wasn't having it. His choice to work with the CCC was the breaking point, and they got into a very major argument. Dmitri yelled at her, slammed his hands into a table and shouted at her, and that was the final straw; she packed her bags and left out on the boat.

She was near The Wall during The Betrayed because she was properly finalizing the legal divorce papers and picking up some items she forgot in the rush to leave (and saying goodbye to Grigori, who had done no wrong to her but who refused to leave Dmitri's side)

So, I have weekend school every second weekend. Long story. Thing is, it always exhausts me. And combined with having to go out into toe winter world makes me a tired wreck not able to draw, and shiz post instead. So... Don't expect me to do the promised art until Monday or even later (mostly cuz my sleep schedule is broken too and I got anemia). But no worry. I will make what I promised eventually. That is a promise. For time being, have my little collection! Icons I drew for my last, and most popular, post. I don't mind if you take those and do something fun with them.

Okay, I do want to explain the Bukowski bloodline, because it's kind of interesting to me. It is a little long, sorry about that.

Dmitri was born a Bukowski, had a son with the Bukowski last name, married to Vinschpinsilstien, but upon divorce, he changed his last name to Petrov (mother's maiden name)

His son, irresponsibly, had a child at around the age of 18 with his girlfriend. His last name was Bukowski, while his girlfriend's was Mann. The first child gained the Mann last name. They married, and his wife took the Bukowski last name, causing their next two children to become Bukowski's.

Right Henderson Mann was born first, when his parents were 18 and 19 (father-mother respectively). Dmitri helped raise Right for the first 5 years in Canada, before he went off to public school.

Konrad Casey and Calvin Kay Bukowski were born when their parents were 20 and 21 (father-mother respectively). A fight happened with the parents, causing each parent to take a twin with them.

Konrad went up with his father to his great-grandfather's place (father's side) in Wyoming, where he got used to the cold, when he was 1.

Calvin went down with his mother to his grandmother's place (mother's side) in Arizona, where he got used to the heat when he was 1.

About 6 months went by, the parents got their shit together, and moved back to Canada with Dmitri. Right now, the twins are 2 while Right is 4. A year later, the parents took their children (twins 3 and Right 5) to a place in California.

When the twins turned 11 to 12, something happened with Calvin in the hospital, Right (13-14) nearly ending up in Juvy, and Konrad being right there with him, nearly in Juvy.

Dmitri took it into his own hands to travel from Canada (now the warden at The Wall) and fight for custody of his grandchildren. He won the case, completely cut the parents off (Yes, he cut his own son off), and brought the children to Canada with him.

He gave them the option of changing their last names, but the three declined it, but made sure Dmitri promised to keep them out of danger of their parents.

Trust me when I say Dmitri owned up to that promise.

Fast-forward: Right had to hide his mixed accent of Russian-Canadian-California and opted for a rough Scottish, and did it well. Dmitri didn't blame him or judge him for it. In all honesty, Dmitri didn't blame or judge anything they wanted to be. While he knew Right wanted to be a criminal, he still taught the three of them self defense and how to shoot a gun and wield a sword. With the help of Grigori and his, at the time, wife, Dr. Vinschpinsilstien.
