In the original 70mm Wide Screen Version, this film was shown with an 'intermission' The second part of the film opens with a black screen as the General's train is moving through a tunnel at speed with the full sound of the engine and steel wheels running on the tracks, then suddenly the screen comes to life as the train exits the tunnel to show a wonderful view of snow covered landscape, all very dramatic as the stern face of Tom Courtney's character is seen ....
