my favourite thing about Garfield video games is that no matter the quality of the actual game, the soundtracks are always really decent to really good. literally every single Garfield game i have come across has a good soundtrack and there has yet to be one i've disliked even a little bit. the Garfield Kart games have a decent soundtrack with a few really good bangers in there, i LOVE the Garfield 2004 game's goofy soundtrack, the Amiga Garfield games, the Garfield's Defense games, Garfield Lasagna Party, Nickelodeon All Star Brawl and Garfield: Caught In The Act have GREAT soundtracks, even that really sloppily made Garfield Gets Real DS game has a pretty damn good soundtrack!! like yeah it's all MIDI but it's quite enjoyable to listen to and it's literally the best part of the game (apart from the fact they gave Jon Arbuckle really cute freckles but that is besides the point)

Tim Drake would love video games sm tho, and I do not see that represented enough.

He'd be a total nerd about it to. He'd rant and rant and rant about all the games he's played and all the cheats and the secret cut scenes and the hidden lore. He'd be a game theorist for sure, probably has a YouTube account dedicated to it since he's such a little detective. He knows the true lore of FNaF.

He'd definitely speed run minecraft, rp to probably. First person shooter? How about first hand experience. FNaF fanatic oh my God he'd LOVE that game so fucking much. Absolutely a Sonic kid, like you cannot convince me otherwise. Mario less so but you knows hes probably played every single game anyways. Pokemon? Every single one memorized down to their exact coloration. Stardew valley? Do i even have to ask. Animal crossing? Perfected his village, villagers and all. Zelda? I cannot prove it but he has a lino Cosplay somewhere and he's worn it for under cover missions. He'd slay in DTI, have like 5 different mansions in Bloxburg, defiantly played Royal High until the capitalism became to close to the real world, probably has hundreds of avatars to. An expert at games like fnf has played half the mods to ever be made for that game. He's been playing fortnite since it's release. He'd have one of the top scores ever in subway surfers. He'd download those "complete your restaurant" type games and finish them in two weeks and it'd only take that long because the game forces him to wait sometimes. Candy crush is his bitch 100%. He'd download mobile games and finish them in a day and then keep redoing them till he's perfected his method. He has played and replayed countless driving based games, can learn almost any new one in 6 minutes. Going back to the speed run thing I think he'd just enjoy speed running games in general, and gridning. He'd love minecraft so much omg-. Last of us? Played. Iron Lung? Played. Cuphead? Played. Detroit Become Human? Played. Kindergarten? Played. Sallyface? Played. Splatoon? Played. He'd love small games to I just am not that into video games to know any to list- :').

I mean think about it. Going off the "Tim's parents are never home" version of him, he'd have so much time to just sit around and play video games. He has the money to buy them and the time to spend getting ungodly good at them. He'd have amazing equipment, and it'd give him some sort of community even if he doesn't really interact with it personally. Like if he's not out stalking Batman or at school, he's playing a video game. Even after he starts working for Batman, he'd overwork himself to the bone and he'd STILL find a way to go pro gamer in-between. Probably for like 0.5 seconds whenever he's got to stand up to get himself another energy drink.

Like please, video game nerd Tim Drake on my knees begging you add this to your stories and headcanons. Have him introduce other batfam members to video games. HAVE HIM INTRODCUE BRUCE TO CANDY CRUSH AND MAKE THEM GET INTO A COMPETITION ON WHO CAN GET TO A HIGHER LEVEL FASTER. He shows Damian animal crossing. He gives Jason a gaming console and like 50 different shooter games and one copy of stardew valley as a joke and did not expect Jason to get so into it. Him Cass and Steph would love those Roblox horror games. He'd force the whole family to start having game nights and they'd have a world on Minecraft that has the most insane lore you've ever heard. Like please give me more video game nerd Tim and tell me your headcanons on what games he'd like and what he'd introduce different batfam members to in the comment I am begging you.

James' phone is full of mobile phone games because he sees the rage bait ads and downloads them every time because the ads piss him off so much. he plays them for a few hours, loses interest and never touches them again. but forgets to uninstall, so he's just got hundreds of games installed that he never plays.

Sirius plays those gacha games, like afk arena. he's very competitive about it and is in the top ten of every leader board. he spends real money on the games and spends hours everyday making sure he's still on leaderboards.

remus has two games on his phone, one is a word based puzzle game, one is subway surfer for Sirius when he gets bored.

peter has papas pizzeria type games on his phone. he's always playing them, and all his papas restaurants are incredibly developed and he's spent years playing them.

barty plays exclusively bloon tower defense. he's completed every map, he has top scores in every category. he goes feral every time there's an update.

Evan plays a few different games but mainly is "forced" to play btd6 with barty in multiplayer mode because he enjoys watching Barty strategize a game with cute monkeys.

Regulus doesn't play phone games, but his phone is full of downloaded games because James keeps taking it to log into his social medias and keeps seeing the ads and downloading them. the only times regulus plays them is because James has found a good multiplayer and has managed to convince regulus.

Pandora is still attached to cookierun kingdom. she's number one on the leaderboard and has maxed out every cookie.

dorcas plays those mystery games. and gets pissed every time they limit her daily moves, refuses to pay for them. she has previously stolen regulus or bartys credit cards to pay for extra moves. she downloads whichever gacha game Marlene is currently attached to to watch the leaderboards to witness the rivalry, but doesn't play them.

Marlene plays gacha games with Sirius, tries to beat him in the leaderboards, steals his credit card information to buy packs. she's also in the top tens. she doesn't care about the leaderboards she just wants to beat Sirius and laughs at him everytime she overtakes him on the boards.

Mary plays games like episode. she constantly complains about how stupid it is that she'd have to pay for the good outfits and choices. she does not enjoy the games but she's hooked.

lily plays cookie run kingdom because Pandora gives her heart eyes everytime she mentions the game. she doesn't put much time into it but enjoys to check in on it and visit Pandora's kingdom to see the pretty arrangements she's made.

Soap - Those makeover games that have like a million ads. He will also download whatever looks mildly interesting from those ads, and then never delete them even if he doesn’t play them. he has no storage left.

Alejandro - Subway surfers, also would play candy crush, he’d rage quit tho.

Rudy - Bitlife, also house decorating games and probably cryptograms

Gaz - Feel like he plays more video games than mobile games but good pizza and roblox for sure

-grantaire probably has some royale game that he downloaded for bahorel so he could get more coins. and subway surfers.

these boys would be responsible and think that if they were to do anything else then yeah, they'd fully be awake. especially if they were to go on their phone because you know blue light and all. they wouldn't even get out of bed to stretch or anything because they're worried that they'd get a second wind and immediately not feel sleepy anymore. unfortunately for them, they still aren't falling asleep and are starting to go insane because they're so bored but so tired but are still holding on until they fall asleep. next thing they know, the birds are chirping and the sun is rising. they end up screaming into their pillow before getting ready for the long day ahead of them.

would start thinking about things that happened years ago

these boys would want to be part of the ceiling group but they end up cringing at everything because their brains decided to remind them of something they did years ago. all they can do is continuously face palm every time a new embarrassing memory pops into their mind. like why did he cry and throw a tantrum first year of high school when their crush politely rejected them? 'oh remember when you tripped in front of the whole school during a fire drill because you wanted to go see your friend?'. thinking about something that wasn't even his fault too like when a kid threw up on him in kindergarten. anything under the sun to make this man feel embarrassed enough that he practically forces himself to sleep as best as he can.

these boys wouldn't even try to sleep lol. they're immediately go on their phones and play dumb mobile games just to pass the time. it pays off in the end though because guess who has the highest score in the country for subway surfers? that's right this guy right here. they'd also probably download all the papas pizzeria games (yes they would pay for them) but end up getting frustrated because why the fuck did wally give them a 98% on the order station???

have a dance party/pretend concert

these boys like to take their sleeplessness in stride and just throw on some banging music and dance around like nobody's business. they'll even turn on their led lights to simulate a dance club or something! they're having the time of their lives while they sing into a water bottle pretending it's a microphone and pretending that they're on a world tour performing for their adoring fans. they eventually tire themselves out and pass out on the floor.

if they can't sleep, neither can their friends. they cannot stand the thought of being so bored in the middle of the night and they've already exhausted all other options so they decide to call up their best friend over and over again until they pick up. doesn't matter if the friend ends up being mad at them they just want company dude. after a few minutes though they'll start to fall asleep and snore loudly into the phone causing the other person to get annoyed and scream into the phone to wake them up and hang up because why call them if you're just gonna fall asleep.

Round 2 for CoDMW HC'S:

Alejandro will always share his food with others. He opens a bag of chips? He holds out the bag for anyone to take some. If he's eating lunch and you walk up and ask for some, he'll share no questions asked. He's always been like that according to Rudy.

Soap enjoys nighttime in Mexico on account of using black lights to see scorpions. He's a grown man and doesn't really like bugs, but there's something surreal about seeing them light up so brightly under that light- he's fascinated.

Ghost moves very quietly for someone so large, and he always freaks Rudy out, even without meaning to. Often you'll hear swearing in Spanish that abruptly switches to scolding Ghost in English. Alejandro thinks it's fuckin' hysterical, but Ghost has gotten him a few times too.

Rudy, Alejandro, and Valeria used to play Village Idiot when they were bored and had some time to kill. Valeria's an asshole when she wins and Alejandro is a bad sport when he loses, and Rudy rests somewhere in the middle.

Ghost knows a surprising amount of constellations. Some for navigating at night, some just to look at and admire. He teaches Soap about them sometimes.

Price is really good at crossword puzzles but he finds them boring and only good for a brief distraction. As a joke, Soap buys him a little pocketbook full of them with different themes. He denies this, but it stays in his back pocket with a miniature pen everywhere he goes. It's grown old and beat up, a little ripped and dog-eared with time, but you can usually see the imprint of it in his back pants' pocket. Soap thinks it's still sitting on a desk somewhere, but Ghost has seen it and finds the whole thing endearing.

Gaz doesn't really like older music, but he does like Billy Joel. Price finds this delightful, though he won't outwordly show much support aside from nodding along.

Soap is amazing at Subway Surfers.

Rudy introduces Soap to fresas con crema (strawberries and cream) and now he goes insane for it. They love food trucks.

Gaz has one of those little square iPod Shuffles from 2010, one of the later models before it was discontinued. It's full of all of his favorite music, a mishmash of stuff downloaded from online or actually bought. He doesn't always have headphones to use with it and he's also not superstitious, but he keeps it now as a good luck charm.

Ghost observes the cat naming game the others have put together (see last HC post) and the ONE time he chimed in was to call a white cat Paul. Alejandro, Rudy, and Soap immediately agreed because they didn't want to piss him off. There's a white cat in Los Almas named Paul. They've seen her more than once!

Tips for making flare-ups less awful

I thought that for my first attempt at making a real blog post I'd share some things that I find helpful for making my flare-ups less awful.

I'd also like to quickly say that every person is different and something that I find really helpful might be completely unhelpful which is completely okay! In the spirit of building community, everyone please feel free to share their own "tips" in the comments :)

with that being said, let's get into the list

keeping a drawer of easy-to-grab snacks and/or safe foods in my bedroom (I will likely go into this more in a future post)

keeping any medications/supplies nearby (ie: lip balm, tube feeding stuff, barf bags etc)

download easy/mindless games on your devices. personally I'm a big fan of subway surfers, the sims freeplay, and sandbox

Don't try to combat it. I know it's hard a lot of time to actually slow down and take a break but ultimately it will make the flare up much worse if you keep doing stuff anyways (I should really take my own advice)

make a list of every task you need to complete over the next few days and decide which ones are managable or urgent, which ones can wait, and which ones can be completed with support from others

Finally, don't be afraid to ask for help. I know it's very difficult to ask for help and not feel like a burden but if the people around you really love and care about you they won't be bothered by you asking them for help. For example, if you're having debilitating pain for days at a time but you have no clean clothes left, you do NOT need to force yourself to do laundry or any other task that will worsen your condition and you are not weak or lazy for asking a friend or family member to come help you do laundry, or dishes, or cook a meal, etc.

- he’s def one of those people that bring a whole ass headset, mouse & mousepad to school

- he also knows all the commands to switching tabs and stuff like that

- he’s just a true gamer fr

- he plays the nyt sudoku with jay

- he also tries to help jake with the wordle but he mostly just types in gibberish hoping that it’s a word 😄

- him and ni-ki compete against each other in slope and try to get the highest score

- he’s really good at geometry dash and has passed all the levels

- he downloaded a sketchy vpn for the school laptop so he can play LoL and fortnite 😈

- one time an admin came up behind him and jump scared him while he was playing fortnite though

- he got his laptop taken away and he had to do all his assignments on paper for a week 😔

- but dw he downloaded the vpn again once he got a new computer

- in their shared minecraft server, heeseung always goes exploring with ni-ki

- they always fight any mob.. including hitting the villagers (they laugh so hard)

- he loves watching game hacks on youtube

- he’s prob really good at google snake

- he has played every mode and it’s just his go-to game

- him and ni-ki regularly try to beat each others wpm’s on monkey type (heeseung normally wins)

- he also loves playing basketball stars

jay

- for some reason he bought a laptop case for his school computer LOL

- he’s on his second computer though cuz he accidentally broke his first one tryna fold it into tablet mode..

- I think he would have all his bookmarks and files organized nicely

- he likes nyt games like jake but he mostly plays connections, the mini, and the sudoku

- he takes a really long time on the sudoku’s cuz he refuses to use autocomplete

- he LOCKS IN with sudoku and gets annoyed when heeseung gets it before him

- he won’t pay the subscription for the crossword though LOL

- jay is always mining & crafting in minecraft, as well as trading with the villagers

- he either watches cooking videos or game strategies on youtube

- he also loves minesweeper cuz he saw ni-ki playing it and decided to try it (he hasn’t looked back since)

- he would prob play poker unblocked against randos online

- occasionally he can convince everyone to play 8ball pool too!!

- google solitaire is one of his og games fr

- OH and he’d def have a chess.com account that he’s had since like 2016

- he’s super good and can beat most of the bots

jake

- him and ni-ki were prob fooling around one time and now his laptop screen is super cracked and on the top corner u can literally see the inside of the laptop

- his wallpaper is def layla

- he plays the most nyt games out of all the members

- he plays all the ones involving spelling like the wordle, the spelling bee, and the letter boxed

- he tries to convince the others to play but no one wants to (cuz he just has too big of an advantage lol) 😞

- he’s completed every fireboy and watergirl level with ni-ki (in every version too)

- btw he’s watergirl DUH 😛

- jake is def just playing with the animals in minecraft (he has a whole pack of wolves)

- but he also accompanies jay in mining and heeseung and ni-ki during their adventures

- he’s the only one that plays the pbs kids games but it’s ok cuz ANYTHING FOR THE WILD KRATT BROTHERS 🔥🙏💯

- he prob watches gaming streams on youtube and has the funniest reactions

- he would also watch those building a primitive house in the woods with sunghoon HAHA

- every year that there’s the fifa world cup, him and ni-ki are always updated and they watch the matches during class (learning can wait)

- him and ni-ki prob play baseball 9 during boring ass lectures

- no DOUBT he plays subway surfers LMAOO

sunghoon

- first thing he does when he opens his school computer is look at himself in the reflection of the black screen LOL

- he has to make sure his hair is looking good (it always is)

- just to fool the others, he switches the letter keys on his keyboard LMAO

- he’s def one of those students that doesn’t have anything bookmarked or organized and just types in the name of the website everytime he needs it

- the only nyt game he plays is tiles because it’s so rewarding for him when he finishes it perfectly

- he’ll get really mad if he messes up his streak though

- he starts playing run 3 cuz of jungwon

- (although it takes him awhile to complete the stages)

- sunghoon wears the default steve skin in minecraft and proud of it 😜

- he willingly collects resources for everyone

- like mining with jay and jake

- and chopping down trees for sunoo’s builds

- sometimes he gets bored and just moves around the items in the chests over and over again

- he is mesmerized by the youtube primitive house building videos and the channel.. when he found out they were fake he was devastated LMAO

- he’ll always watch kdramas with sunoo on pirating websites too ☺️

- he’s the only member who was able to keep one laptop throughout the whole year (the other members are prob on their second or third laptop)

- he prob has group tabs for every subject

- he has organized bookmarks like jay but he def overdoes it and has bookmark GROUPS with groups inside of those groups

- he always locks in for blooket and is millions ahead of the others at the end LOL

- he plays the nyt strands even though he doesn’t understand what the words means 😭

- he just connects random letters and can somehow figure it out..

- he’s really good at run 3 and has all the characters!!!

- he also got sunghoon onto it

- jungwon has those super realistic but also creepy minecraft packs

- everyone freaks out when they see his screen

- he also has the alex skin by accident but he lowkey fucks w it

- he doesn’t mind cheating sometimes with the admin commands 😉

- jungwon ALWAYS plays smoothed brown noise during class cuz he said it helps him focus..

- he got everyone else hooked on it though and everyone expects him to play it

- first of all, he MOST DEFINITELY has those obnoxious looking big-ass custom mouse cursors LMAO

- and his computer is literally never charged and he has to ask the other members to borrow their chargers

- I wouldn’t be surprised if he always had a countdown tab open that counted the amount of days until school is over 😭

- he always has the goofiest kahoot names that makes the class crack up when he wins 1st place

- he finished all the nyt vertex’s and memorized how to complete them

- he still replays them though!!

- he’s the only one that plays costcodle but he loves it ☺️

- he likes playing slope against heeseung and going ontop of the tunnels

- his favorite papa’s game is either papa’s sushiria or papa’s freezeria

- he replays the fireboy and watergirl levels with jake but he always forgets to press the button for him 😔

- his fave game is DEF duck life 😊😊

- he always plays it during his free time and during class time LMAO

- he is literally never in the normal world in minecraft

- his first instinct when joining is to create a nether portal and to go fight the mobs 😄
