Random Facts: He loves math, accounting, and his boyfriend Nate. 

He has at least one meal a week with his remaining parent, and has strong ties to his ancestral home in Kenya due to family stories and lessons. While he’s not the strongest speaker of Swahili, he still knows enough to get by.  

He misses the way his mom used to call him kijana, which means son.

Happy Storyteller Saturday! What's an interesting fact about your OC that they don't think is very interesting?

*grins* thanks for the STS @raevenlywrites! 

Jon would say his linguistic abilities are not all that interesting compared to other skills and abilities he has. It really is amazing, as he knows six languages fluently by the time he’s twenty five, and still intentionally learning more. 

Donjae will sometimes be found singing to himself. He doesn’t think anything of it even though he has perfect pitch and can exactly replicate the tones of any song he hears.

Jamie is naturally a chameleon, able to mimic nearly anyone and hide in plain sight. He takes to a level few, even with training, can reach but doesn’t think that it’s all that interesting a skill to have, just part of what he needs to survive and work.

22.What do they think of tattoos? Do they have any? Tell us about them!

Valentin - it makes him uncomfortable to admit that he’s had his soulmarks tattooed onto his skin after his soulmates passed away so not to lose the marks. He never got to have both as his soulmates, because of events outside of his control, but he still cherished his soulmarks. The first was a small lily with a hummingbird and the second was rod of caduceus with the rod looking like a puzzle put together. 

Iov - as a teenager he got his family crest tattooed on his skin, back then he was proud of it, after all, he was next to be head of the family, even though he often felt like he wasn’t a worthy heir. Then came the Mistake, fueled by misinformation and a burning desire to prove himself. Now that tattoo reminds him of what was lost and what could have been, it also reminds him that sometimes proving himself isn’t worth the cost. 

Aither - she’s got several blacklight tattoos, all are carefully placed to make them difficult to find for those who don’t know they are there. More then that, they are designed so even if they are seen, they are an unknown. She’s considered getting a few more, but hasn’t settled on a design.

33. Which room in their home do they spend most time in? Why?

Tichina - the gym. Most the time she’s there in order to help her players and work with them, after all she has several teams, but sometimes she’s there just to relax and play the game herself. Of course, that’s not technically her home, but if you told her that she’d blink at you in confusion because it feels like home. 

Quin - they spend most of their time in the lab, when not being called on to deal with situations. They like it there, it allows them to work on their projects and to speak with the others in the lab about projects. His apartment is in one of the buildings smaller rooms as he kept refusing to leave. 

Donjae - most his time is spent in his living room or in the Commons, depending on whether he’s working or not. He likes the comfortable set up of his living room, and he doesn’t have a set job within the Network, so he sticks to the commons so he can easily be found if something comes up.

44. They wake up in a room with no doors and no windows. There’s a red button on the floor next to them, a warning written under for them not to press it. How long would it take before they pushed it?

Jon - very carefully studies the button to see if he can take it apart before even considering touching the button. 

Iov - tries everything in his power not to touch the button, trips on his own feet and lands on it panicking.

Aither - shrugs and smacks her hand down, it has to be more interesting then this room.

@feathered-quill​ It’s the beginning of Black History Month in the US today! Please tell Tumblr about your Black characters and/or characters of color!
