Barcelona, 7 de febrero de 2023. Don Giovanni, el restaurante italiano del chef Andrea Tumbarello, regresa a la ciudad condal y presenta su propuesta en el hotel NH Barcelona Stadium. El conocido Rey de la trufa, también llamado como Trufarello, ha creado una carta para rendir pleito a la autenticidad y simplicidad de la gastronomía italiana, aunque preparada con delicada exquisitez. Don Giovanni cuenta con más de 70 platos que recorren la geografía italiana al completo y con los que Tumbarello quiere darles su propio reconocimiento con su ingrediente más significativo desde hace años: el diamante silvestre -la trufa blanca o negra-. La trufa realza sus creaciones, al mismo tiempo que enaltece y completa de lleno la experiencia gastronómica de los paladares más selectos. Con la apertura del restaurante Don Giovanni, el Hotel NH Barcelona Stadium ofrece una exquisita y amplia propuesta de cocina italiana que incluye un surtido de pastas y pizzas, una amplia selección de embutidos, quesos y vinos de la mejor calidad, y una revisión realizada por el chef Andrea Tumbarello de las propuestas más tradicionales de la gastronomía del país transalpino. Mancake

Dongiovanni Matteo was a wealthy child, growing up in a life of luxury with his older sister Luccia. His parents were an arranged marriage: his father a lord, and his mother a highly sought after courtesan from Wano. His father loved his mother with every beating fibre in his soul, his mother... She tolerated him. Tolerated the lot of them.

Not a scrap of love was found in that hollow shell of a woman. Not for her husband, not for her daughter, and least of all for her son.

When Matteo's father took ill, they never expected him to live past his third month of disease. All that was found in his breath was how truly much he loved his wife: who would scowl, scoff, and turn from his side with her arms folded. There was no warmth in her face, no sorrow in her mourning, and no love. Never, love.

Once he passed, Matteo's mother sold off the estate to the highest bidder and fled back home to her country: leaving her two children to fend for themselves. Their governess took pity on them: taught them to survive by foraging for food, swindling sailors, and teaching them charm.

Luccia did not enjoy this, taught herself how to hunt for food, and use feats of strength to best challengers, rather than rely on charisma and charm. Matteo thrived: using his experience as a talented musician to busk for his dinner.

Sleeping on roadsides did little for their elderly governess, her body becoming rapidly more frail the longer they were left without lodgings. One morning, the two teenagers woke, and the governess remained sleeping in her eternal rest.

With their last tie to their country now perishing, they booked passage as deck-hand and entertainer aboard a pirate vessel until they had enough Berry to finance their own. With Luccia as their captain, they grappled and claimed a crew of flittering outcasts with skills all on their own. Although Matteo had no sailing skills, nor any desire to learn them, his charming silver tongue always spoke them away from worries.

No matter how long, how far, how many interesting folk he often shared nights with: Matteo swore off love. His free-spirit refused to be contained in a single relationship, and his fear of love and what it did to his father promoted him to stamp out each rising ember of love. Matteo is gone in the morning, waiting until his trysts are sleeping to sneak out: with a pep in his step, whistle on his lips, and story to tell his sister on the way home to his ship.

And then there was Pancake.

Pancake, who's silence was refreshing in the portraiture Matteo would paint in the air with his melody. Pancake, who was a whole two feet taller than him, and could rip him apart but withholds their hands, teeth and claws. Pancake, who, as they lay sleeping behind him, shrouded him in the lengthy flesh-like hair and held him secure completely. Pancake, who's toothy grin had Matteo strive to seek it out more.

Pancake, who heated his heart to pulse his love rather than lust. And once Matteo was in love? He had to fight first the urge to flee from it, fight the urge to scream at it, and fight the desire to accuse Pancake of something they truly never did to distance himself from them. But he couldn't.

When Pancake shifted in their rest, nuzzling into his tattooed neck and held him completely: body and soul, all Matteo could do was hide his rising emotion in soundless sobs and soft tearfalls. He was in love. The one thing that he truly feared.

But once that fear was overcome? There was nothing that could keep Matteo away from Pancake. Not his crew, not his captain - who is actually quite thankful to see him chase Pancake rather than leaving a trail of broken hearts.

He hopes that the Council Pirates needs a musician, for that's the one position he's confident he'd be able to fill.

Are you straight? The internet doesn’t give a solid answer

Such a strange term straight entails.

I like to think I have been a straight man, regarding my moral and political ideas - although in no few instances were I to move back in time things would have developed differently - and devouted to common sense.

As for my sexual and romantic preferences, I have always dwelled with the ladies, be it in short-term adventures or long lived agreements of love and trust. Some who despise me think of me as a libertine and dongiovanni, but I trust no companion of mine has been hurt unless love had been involved - in which case both parts suffer. Neither was I ever entralled by the meek and weak telling of women as docile maids. Love has to be enjoyed and driven by both parties, and both must be able to live alone if needed - not to be dependent on each other, but to choose and devout one's soul to the other, it's the choice that makes love grand and sacred... That does not mean I have not been able to love men as well. That has been a different kind of love and adoration, more exclusive to the mind and character of the men who have bewitched me.

It is true I once kissed Wagner. He boasted about this sometimes, I'm aware. I'd though tell that this gesture of affection and sympathy on my part has been a weaker sign of love than what a cosmic sign of dis-love and peer trust has been old Wagner's entanglement with my daughter Cosima.

Nel 1957 conobbe Ava Gardner, con la quale intrecciò un chiacchierato flirt, finendo nella cronaca mondana di riviste straniere e, grazie a questa pubblicità ottenere anche un ingaggio a Broadway, dove nel 1961 interpretò oltre un centinaio di repliche della commedia musicale. Dotato di grandi capacità parodistiche, parlatore infaticabile (fu poi uno dei migliori attori alle prese con il monologo), negli anni sessanta Walter Chiari trovò finalmente nella televisione il mezzo più congeniale alla sua comicità, tanto da diventare in pochi anni il più noto e apprezzato comico televisivo italiano. Nel 1966 conobbe Alida Chelli e iniziò con lei una lunga e travagliata relazione che fu protagonista delle copertine dei settimanali. I due si sposarono nel 1969. I due divorziarono nel 1972, dopo aver avuto un figlio, Simone. Chiari aveva in programma una cena con l’impresario teatrale Libero Zibelli, suo amico da oltre vent’anni, il quale non vedendolo arrivare chiamò il residence dove Chiari viveva dopo essersi separato da Patrizia Caselli e, non ricevendo risposta, vi si recò trovando l’attore morto a causa di un infarto.
