How would Atlas and Soleil and the creature boys react to an autistic reader

This a little harder for me to answer simply because I don't think it would matter much to any of them in how they see you or make much of a difference seeing as I'm neurodivergent and a lot of my friends and family are autistic or neurodivergent, and I don't think any of us react to it in any sort of way besides saying "Oooh! Makes sense" when someone tells someone else, but I'll do my best to answer!

I apologize in advance if it isn't what you are looking for, I will admit it's a struggle for me to answer because I just see it as normal day thing maybe just with the people around you accommodating you more and helping through breakdowns and overstimulation/overload issues, so maybe I'll add some of those answers!

Creature boys first!

They truly don't notice. You are just their little human destined mate who they adore. Human's are strange to them anyhow, you most likely don't seem any stranger than the rest. They might even appreciate it a little more than you'd think seeing as you are probably more different than the rest of the townspeople to them! They like that difference. It makes you unique.

They study you a lot, see what you do and what you like and don't like. They are partial mimic creatures, so expect them to repeat what you do a lot. They aren't teasing or being mean, they are trying to connect and show they care. Mimicry is there love language besides gifting, but gifting is a specific courting ritual, so it's bound to happen. Sun repeats motions a lot while Moon repeats sounds more often. They both do it all, but those are their preferred things to mimic. They are curious by nature, so be ready for them to question why you do something once they start being able to actually communicate well. They don't need it to necessarily be the most detailed and understanding answer, they just need enough to go "OOOH! You do it because of this? We do it because of this." And most of the time "this" for them is "because you do it and we love you." They are interesting guys. Share things with them so they can share with you, too!

Moon is good with pressure in comforting ways. He squeezes you a lot if he sense unrest or makes you lay down so he can lay on top of you in some way or curls around you somewhat like a snake to keep you bundled up and protected in his hold. He might start cleaning you if you get too antsy under him, but he's trying to calm you in the way he knows how as a creature. He'll also let you get rough with him with play fighting if you're frustrated and need to go through the motions of letting out that frustration, too. Don't worry, he goes plenty easy on you, and he lets you hit him and takes it with ease. You don't really hurt him even with a good punch, so he doesn't mind you going at him. Just don't pull his tails or hurt the balls at the ends of them. He doesn't appreciate that as the tails are sensitive, and those bell like balls are filled with some pretty powerful magic that you don't want coming out at you. Also messing with his real tail might accidentally get you a face full of his magic "dust," and that might get you a little messed up for awhile depending on how his mood is affecting its power.

Sun is good with most tactile and verbal methods of comforting you. He makes you feel the smooth, almost worry stone-like feeling of his face, the strange flexibility of his rays, the nice leathery texture of his retractable spikes on his back, or the softness of his maroon red mane fur (that's his softest fur after all, and he takes pride in how well kept he keeps it nowadays. He mostly makes you feel his nice fur.) He echoes sounds with you and makes you make them with him. Like trying to click your tongue or whistle if you like it, he'll make you snap your fingers or imitate random bird calls or phrases he's heard people say in interesting tones. He keeps you FULLY away from his tail if you show signs of unrest or distress. He doesn't need his "dust" ramping you up any, no matter how he is feeling.

They'll also do tricks for you and let you climb on them if you really want to. If you want a smell, they'll gladly heavily scent you so the scent is easier for you to catch than normal. Humans normally can't smell a their scents, but a potential mate or actual mate can very slightly. If they pile it on thick enough, it will be a little easier to catch, you'll just have to have your nose right up to where they scented you on your wrists to smell it. They hope you don't mind the oily residue left over for it.

They aren't completely understanding of all aspects of your autism kind of like they aren't understanding of all of aspects f your humanhood, and as creatures, their automatic responses to things are to fight them off or to comfort, so you're going to get a lot of comfort because they aren't going to (truly) fight you. It's what they can do and how they work.

Atlas really wouldn't mind. If my writing isn't the best at trying to describe it, I apologize, but Soleil is quite neurodivergent, not necessarily autistic though. (He is very much like me without help quite honestly, just a little different with certain things and missing a few things!) But Atlas is used to the what comes with being anything but neurotypical. And, really, Atlas isn't quite neurotypical himself. He struggles with sensory issues specifically related to noise (and deep rooted problems in black and white thinking, but he tries to keep it to himself if he can along with his other ways of thinking that aren't helpful or that are frowned upon.) It's a big thing for him, so he often keeps noise cancelling headphones on him that are Bluetooth so he can play his favorite music to distract himself from bad or overwhelming sounds around him. If he has them on, he isn't ignoring you, he's trying to keep bad sounds away. Just tap him and he'll take one side off his ear and listen to you. His hyperfixations and need for consistency also kind of takes over his life.

But due to having Soleil in his life for so long, he's pretty good at helping when things are wrong and finding ways to make things easier. Tell him what you need, and he's ready to accommodate. If you don't tell him, he has a list on how to help. Do you have safe foods that would help in the moment? He can get them. Do you need something to fidget with? He's got quite a few hidden in his and Soleil's bag. Say what kind you are looking for and they probably have something like it. Do you need a smell? He'll give you his hoodie. He can almost assure you that it smells very much like his shower supplies, and if you like that smell, he's willing to give it up to make you more comfortable. Do you need pressure? He'll squeeze your hands or hug you tight until he can get you back to their apartment where they have a weighted blanket. Do you need to feel a texture? My god, that man is finding you a good texture. Really, anything you need, he's willing to go out of his way to help you find that scratch that will help you regulate yourself and feel better and more stable again. He can't stand the idea of you just rawdogging being upset or seeking something without finding it.

Soleil is in a similar boat, so he kind of gets it! Not exactly in the same way, but he can understand some things! He has no problem with someone who is on the spectrum and welcomes it! Soleil has sensory issues up the wazoo! And really? His ADHD mixed with his OCD and anxiety can become a nightmare at times. Not to mention his tic disorder that causes him to constantly tap his foot in bouts of threes, his consistent humming that rises when feeling intense emotions, usually good, but also bad, and a variety of hand tics that include scratching and squeezing. (He also has a terrible habit of repeating what others have said out in public inappropriately. Atlas has to stop him on this one often with a hand over his mouth or a tug against his hand, but he really can't help it. It just pops out of his mouth before he can stop it.) Soleil is also controlled by his need for consistency and having things being the same. It's why he pretty much wears the same thing everyday just in slightly different colors. (It's pretty much all the same brands as well so all of them feel the same. They only things that are more different are his bowties, and that's only because Atlas sometimes gifts them to him, but even then, Atlas makes sure the texture is similar enough to his regular brand that it doesn't cause any difference.)

Soleil will actually more often than not let Atlas take care of settling you or helping you seek. He does such a good job at helping him that he trusts Atlas more than himself. He often can feed off the negative energy and get himself going as well if you are too worked up in a way he doesn't know how to fix. He can handle some emotional breakdowns but not all because he'll breakdown with you and often has a harder time finding when things are wrong emotionally if you aren't showing clear signs of being in distress or haven't told him. That's more Atlas's forte. But! Soleil will let you talk for HOURS if you have hyperfixations you can go on about. He lets you share in your enjoyments and the struggles together and will try to sit down with you and understand your seat on the spectrum. Everyone's experience with it is a little different, so tell him how you experience it! He'll listen and take mental notes to write about and research later on. He wants to understand you better in whatever way you can while also making you feel accepted by him and Atlas (and you know he is dragging Atlas into research time to learn as well.)

When Tommy saved Bobby for the second time—this time eight years in the past—it flashed me back to last summer, when Tim Minear posted a BuckTommy video to his facebook.

In that video, a fan effectively highlighted the concept of 'Invisible String Theory' and how it related to BuckTommy as a pairing, while also pointing out how this made Tommy Kinard stand out as not just a unique and effective love interest for Buck, but also an influential character for the direction of the show in general.

So, having a new flashback where Tommy is the one to save Bobby in the past, when it could have just as easily been anyone else who saved him, adds even more contextual layers to the concept. Because had Tommy not intervened at this moment, Bobby likely would have fallen into the inferno and died, leading to the alteration or complete erasure of just about everything we have witnessed in the show since 1x01--never mind just Buck no longer meeting Tommy. It makes me consider that the concept of ‘Invisible String Theory’ may have actually resonated with Minear in a truly influential way once it was brought to his attention, via that video or elsewhere, and that he didn’t just post that video for mere fandom points. Because with this latest development, we have veered away from ‘accidental Invisible String Theory’, to what appears to now be intentional. With this latest development, the writing continues to integrate Tommy into the show’s past and present, while further establishing a strong foundation for his place in the show’s future. It's yet another solid piece of evidence pointing to true longevity for the BuckTommy pairing.
