After they formed under the name Pectoralz, Guy Berryman joined the group as a bassist and they changed their name to Starfish. Will Champion joined as a drummer, backing vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, completing the line-up. Manager Phil Harvey is often considered an unofficial fifth member. The band renamed themselves “Coldplay” in 1998, before recording and releasing three EPs; Safety in 1998, Brothers & Sisters as a single in 1999 and The Blue Room in the same year. The latter was their first release on a major label, after signing to Parlophone. Despite their worldwide popularity, the band has remained protective of how their music is used in the media, refusing its use for product endorsements. In the past, Coldplay turned down multi-million dollar contracts from Gatorade, Diet Coke, and Gap, who wanted to use the songs “Yellow”, “Trouble”, and “Don’t Panic” respectively. According to frontman, Chris Martin, “We wouldn’t be able to live with ourselves if we sold the songs’ meanings like that.” Coldplay spent most of 2004 out of the spotlight, taking a break from touring and releasing a satire music video of a song from a fictional band titled The Nappies while recording their third album. X&Y was released in June 2005 in UK and Europe. This new, delayed release date had put the album back into the next fiscal year, actually causing EMI’s stock to drop. It became the best-selling album of 2005 with worldwide sales of 8.3 million. The lead single, “Speed of Sound“, made its radio and online music store debut on 18 April and was released as a CD on 23 May 2005. Okay...okay...so this is what I’m gonna do.

Step 1:  B R E A T H E and DON’TPANIC!!!

Step 2:  Re-listen to playlists for fanfictions.

Step 3:  Work on an outline for Details (Cause all I have is a timeline that doesn’t have the DETAILS I need to have my memory properly jogged for what I was doing, ironically).

Step 4:  Browse my WIP chapters and figure out which one I have the clearest “Up next” vision for.

Step 5: Write on that WIP.  Honestly, I’m betting that WIP will either be Details or Lithium.

Had a fun pyramid interval run today (thank you @mrrunningpains ) where my stride interval increased by one minute after each rest interval with the longest interval being 4 minutes at 90% of maximum effort, then back down, followed up with 10 minutes of cool down. To top it off I came home to find awesome t-shirts in my mailbox for both me and @juicepond from my mother.      It wasn’t quite so unlike him to get attached to any certain thing, person even, but in most cases it happened slow or even without own notice until damage was done or distance was implemented in between to enhance longing. Now, honestly there were plenty good bakeries in Seoul he’d taken a liking to over time with preferences lying more in the goods each had to offer, less so an establishment itself or the people. But stepping inside the Black Forest Bakery after nearly two weeks since the last time he’d so much as had time to spend quality time with a cake and warm cup of tea, it hit him like any emotional connection grown usually did. With entirely too fond of a relief and unwarranted punch in the chest, smile tingling on lips.

     He greeted the cashier with perhaps tad overdone cheerfulness, took his damn time deciding on what to order before settling on a pecan toffee cake and green jasmine tea, ready to enjoy the dessert and scenery of a now familiar street, and people milling about.

     Heading towards a window table in the back his joy was extremely short lived when a soft curse was heard on the side, a rustle of clothing and shoes heavy on the floor forcing attention to shift from balancing the close to overflowing cup in grasp, only to see a flurry of hair and near avoided collision when eyes fixed on similarly widening gaze as realization hit moment too late. He felt a hand shoot out to try yank him forward but it only proceed to losing what hold the male had on the cup in hand, hot tea spilling all over the floor, some on his shoe and pants. Jimin went down much same as his cake, too fast to realize gravity of matter before he was blinking upwards and the frantic apologies registered. The cake was in ruin. Much like his pants. The demigod hadn’t broken anything though and it seemed the other unfortunate participant of the incident seemed to be fine, if not alarmed. And in a hurry still apparently as they quickly jotted down a number with some form of promise to make it up but sprinting out of the door a breath later, Jimin sitting on the floor dumbfounded still. One hell of a welcome. Oh god. His hand had mushed the cake. Great.

     And then he became acutely aware of everyone staring at him. Don’t panic. Don’t panic Don’tpanic don’tpanic-- a stuttering inhale and he was pushing himself up, gaze firmly on the ground. Which helped little as he saw the mess in entirety now. The plate and cup had both broken, which wasn’t even the worst now. Ahh. Shit. Such a shame. He probably should pay for that...
