Been thinking about Overlord Molly so ofc I doodled her

Was doing some thinkin bout Overlord!Molly and how she is essentially the head spider of a majority of the crime ring in hell

and I thought bout her relationship with MY Velvet, where my vel is the overlord of the drug ring.

And it’s FUNNY to me because like... They’d be doing a LOT of business together.

Molly and Vel def work together and end up hanging out a lot, and by default I mention how Vel always DID like Molly cus she was rlly pretty and wanted her as a pet essentially, and Molly was always creeped and unsettled by her

BUT NOW BY MATTER OF CIRCUMSTANCE --

I think Molly DOES end up having a bit of respect for Velvet, but she still secretly doesn’t like her and still finds her like. Fucked but she’s just ‘what’re ya’ gonna do yk?” Molly’s a feminist-

And ofc Molly and Vox tend to get along v well, like for example her relationships w Toxic and Leau’s Vox, which I believe both interacted in her Overlord verse and they were basically, at the least, FWB. Yk

The thing I also really love when thinking about Overlord!Molly and her color palette and how I like to imagine her more in her mother’s color palette as well.

Thinking about the different arcs she’s had too.

The beginning being the snap, of her finally hving something click and she goes dark. She’s cold. She’s silent. She’s a widower. She is ruthless as she climbs her way, calculating her every move as she usurps little by little. Killing her father, taking over the family and grabbing then some.

Then there is the period after making her way to where she was she has a downfall. She slips. She gets caught up in the luxury after becoming close with Triple V as she did. She’s easily seduced by the power and the money and the romanticism of it all.

Finally she does get back on track, having a wake up call and reality check at some point and she ‘mellows’ out. She’s still cold, she’s still emotionally distant in many cases. She still holds some kindness and affection toward her brothers, and some of the people she’s known since before her turn around.

Molly sometimes does mourn the girl she once was, but she did what she had to.

Molly’s main objective is to finally kill Valentino, but one of her other motivations being the fact she finally grew tired of being seen as inferior, being told and seen as she couldn’t do something.

Her father has always put her down and saw her as merely a liability, she was a woman, she couldn’t be as much of a fighter or asset as a man could be. Throughout her life she’s been used and abused, seen as merely an object which she has instigated before, of course, but merely out of desperation and need for her need of attention and affection.

But something does finally snap with Molly to prove herself and being tired of the mistreatment. It’s a hard and rather tragic journey for her, even if she accomplished so much in such little time. It all came at a high cost.

Also while I am here had talks with Tully bout Overlord!Molly and have decided that Arackniss absolutely works with Molly in this AU and they are basically partners.

Considering Arackniss, as Tully had described with theirs, COULD very well have been an overlord himself with the reputation and power he holds under their father, just never perusing it due to his own inactivity on the idea and not wanting to take on their father and remaining loyal to a T, when Molly finally makes her way up the ranks under her father’s nose and DOES finally kill him, she and Arackniss are then working together as a partnership and duo.

Since Arackniss has been in the business FAR LONGER than Molly EVER has and knows SO MUCH MORE than Molly could in such a short time, it’s because of his help do the two of them make such a name and title for themselves so quickly.

Anyway brother and sister team we love to see it. <3
