In 2019, sports are not only pure passion or art but also a form of entertainment that obviously has to be paid, thus creating a very high round of money around it, starting from television stations that broadcast it, as in the case of MMA foxsport, espn or dazn, which broadcast the most important federations like UFC, bellator and Cage Warrior.
A huge turnover also thanks to the main sponsors sources of income of both the federation and the fighter earning an average of $ 15,000 "bag" to the fighter of the big federations but less experienced, you can think about how much other athletes of these federations but more known earn, in particular today we will talk about Conor McGregor.
British athlete, excellent stricker with a record of 21 wins and only 4 losses, as well as the symbol of MMA in the world.
Fighter who is not only active and struggling with consistency and managing to bring home the majority of his matches not only winning the title of light weights but even to win two titles simultaneously in two different weight categories, something that before he had succeeded few.
But also an athlete who created a character, a story and an identity even outside the octagon, allowing everyone, even those who do not follow the MMA to know it and identify it as a symbol of the MMA worldwide.
Thanks to his story that begins in his small house in Ireland from a poor family and with a father with the passion and the failed dream for boxing up to his current villa, his wife, his son and his many sports cars which he boasts on social networks as a script for his character.
Much of his success is also due to his famous "trash talking" with which in the press conferences offend the opponents with a presumptuous air and an arrogant and aggressive way of doing everything but that shows how to master both in front of the cameras in the octagon.
Unforgettable match between Conor and Floyd Maywheter Jr. defined by many as the match of the century, even if very disappointing as a sporting performance, because if the match was from the beginning in a single direction in favor of Floyd it was the sporting event with more cash of the story, we are talking about a collection of more than millions of dollars for each athlete, thanks to the hype that Conor managed to create as in every match, thanks to the conferences that were always discussed and also simply thanks to the relevance of the two athletes .
Having said that we can deduce that Conor McGregor not only has detected a great athlete able to win us in different weight categories entering history, or winning some matches within a few seconds or knowing how to dominate even the strongest athletes, but also that he is a winner in terms of money passing from his poor family to build his family in luxury, creating a character that can no longer be forgotten.

USGA: Stricker Dominates Round 2
USGA: Stricker Dominates Round 2
Steve Stricker has his game face on. After a round of 62, which actually could have been a 61 in Round 1, it was Stricker’s turn to set the tempo for the remainder of the field on Friday. Lost in the Round 1 discussion was Jerry Kelly. Kelly in Round 1 shot a 64 and was only two strokes off the lead. Kelly won last weekends American Family Insurance championship by defeating Stricker. It appears…

Sten Hugo Hiller - KOTM with Luc Lachanche
Mountain Climbing Mecha Combat
Brought to you by ANN, A News channel for Mecha Combat
Highlighting the July 3319 Front Line fight
There was a lull in the CW Fighting. Now, most normal peoples would have drawn a breath of relief. Thanked the powers that might be for keeping themself, friends and loved ones alive. Perhaps washed of grime and gotten a good night’s sleep. We MechWarrior’s are not normal. Keyed up after two days of nonstop fighting we wanted MOAR. And here was a nice little frontline fight announced. The registry machines stopped at close to 450 participants. Division 1 was reserved for celebrities, so there was less crowding there, but in the other divisions... If you got a medal here you would know you had earned it. I barely qualified for K4, and when I had climbed to the upper foothills I took stock. Among the top ten contenders were: German Jaramillo from Tiamat Dragons, Colin Toenjes from Heroes, Collectors had Roman Himmelhan and Bernhard Johnson, Christine Mainer from Avengers of Bunny and Norman Hyslop from HF: Renegades was also there. Then Isle of Misfit Toys had sent Theo Peeples, Stephen Morton and Luc Lachanche himself. The last one was me. The nice thing about frontline at my level is that you only have to kill five opposing mechs. The flip is you only have five yourself, unless you have gotten a formation with only four mechs in front. Against opponents like these a silver would be a major victory, a gold closer to a miracle. How to play it? I sat quietly for fifteen minutes before making my move. Jumping onto the slopes I threw down an opponent and fired blindly up at the mountaintop. This double move caught everyone by surprise and I got the top -for 10 seconds before Jaramillo threw me down. Lachanche claimed it, and soon it was a three way fight between the three of us. I think I claimed the top two times more, for a total of 40 seconds. Then I was dragged down to the foothills and had to regain a position on the slopes. Once more I surprised Lachance, but was thrown back immediately. Pacing myself a bit I decided to go for broke at the 30 minute mark. I attacked from all angles, all directions and launched 25 attacks against Lachanche in about three minutes. But he had grown wise to my tricks; the best I managed now was 3 of his mechs down. When the light flashed I was still at the slopes, and as I said, in that company that was a major victory. The real winners, those who stood at the tops and received Nephilaxes, Golds and fame this time were:
Div 1 (14 Players): Dexter Berry, FUSION (2m,7s) Div 2 (22 Players): Daniel Scott, HF: Renegades (22s) Div 3 (22 Players): John T Mainer, Spirit of Bunny (14m,30s) Div 4 (35 Players): Luc Lachanche, The Isle of Misfit Toys (2m,3s) Div 5 (53 Players): Joshua Bourne, Tiamat Dragons (?s) Div 6 (49 Players): Shandar Shadowmist, Death Dealers (27m,19s) Div 7 (57 Players): Fj Bros, Diamond Dragons (1h,40m) Div 8 (51 Players): James Brose, Steampunk Dragons (1d,18h) Div 9 (23 Players): Spike Slavik, Emerald Dragons (11m,33s) Div 10 (55 Players): David Miskey, Heroes Light Brigade (53m,55s) Div 11 (27 Players): Lucas Stricker, M.P.A."A" Team (30m,11s) Div 12 (34 Players): Bernhard_Goetz, Politically Incorect (25m,26s)
Total players:442, Total Medals: 212 (of 216 possible)
A few players short in div 1 this time, perhaps brackets were too tight?
While some clans and families secured one Gold, Dragons grabbed four, again a proof of what they are capable of.
A mixed bag of fights. Two were decided the last minute, another four during the last fifteen. Only two were held for over one hour, but one of them for over forty.
Taking some deep breaths to calm down my supercharged system I was surprised to hear some knocking on my mech. opening the cockpit I found a smiling Lachanche(#676923) outside. "Hey, You looking or some to interview?" I almost had a stroke, two winners volunteering for interviews in a month? But I grabbed my recorder and started.
Sten Hugo Hiller Wow, thanks for giving me an interview, and again congrats on your win. I have more or less given up thoughts of gold when you are in my division.
Luc Lachanche Depends on the kotm rules. Some are more favorable to some players. I am in average at 20 tons for example.
Sten Hugo Hiller Yes it depends on the rules, but in most for me you are the favorite, as always. Your career started back in `72 and you had a long string of clans you were with. Deathwatchers, Blood angels, Smurfs, Red Comet, BSLR before you seem to have found a permanent home in MMI since 97. Do you think that is where you stay for now?
Luc Lachanche Yes I have settled there as the leader.
Sten Hugo Hiller And whipping them into a fantastic shape. But this is about the KOTMs. Your first gold was in Ax attacs back in November 78, and now you have won.. was this your 30th gold?
Luc Lachanche Lol I did not performed the actual count but...I guess my 40 tons could be made almost full of Nephilaxs. Although I like to add some Zadok for the color.
Sten Hugo Hiller Another formation I can’t beat you in.. What Gold is most special for you, the first, the last the next, or some other?
Luc Lachanche First one was special because I started the game on my own without any mentorship...so it took me some time to gear up and be competitive.
Sten Hugo Hiller Shorter time than for most. But I digress. Do you prefer the sudden death Kotms like this one or are chronos more to your taste?
Luc Lachanche I prefer sudden death...not the biggest fan of chronos although I enjoy the bonified loot.
Sten Hugo Hiller Who doesn’t, when they can get it that is. You mentioned you were pretty good all over the specter, but had some weakness in some of the unlimited formations. (I would call it lack of total superiority) Do you prefer the unlimited format over the limited ones?
Luc Lachanche I prefer limited format because there can be surprises which are less likely to happen in unlimited format.
Sten Hugo Hiller There is several groups of limited formats. In my mind the closest to unlimited is the weapon types, what are you feelings toward them, are you able to keep up all five?
Luc Lachanche Weapon type is a good idea but... seems to suffer when applied. One reason is the limitations on weapon one can buy. As such, it is very hard to find a player that I cannot beat unlimited but that I could beat with ice, fire etc... In other words...it does not seem To change anything from unlimited.
Sten Hugo Hiller Ok, another general type is the rainbows, is that a more challenging format for you?
Luc Lachanche I have a decent single rainbow. This is my favorite rainbow. Triple was interesting when Boreas was the dominant mech. As such I was able to match people having 10 Boreas I otherwise couldn’t beat.
Sten Hugo Hiller The last general group is the weight limits. Is your preference there max tonnage or mechtype, say Holmes or max35?
Luc Lachanche Max tonnage. Thus one can do some mixture.
Sten Hugo Hiller Makes for slightly more random results. Is there any KOTM you would like to see, past, present or future format, like yellow mechs only, food fight or first blood?
Luc Lachanche I will surprise you...I would like to see an only crystal mech unlimited kotm Otherwise we barely never use em.
Sten Hugo Hiller Oh, many of us use them a lot, but a more level playing field.. From your mouth to the developers ears. Now I and many with me are wondering what kind of mechs/equipment/weapons you have as favorites and why?
Luc Lachanche Fire is my type thus Notos goes by itself as favorite mech. Still, Fext is à though one To beat on one on one fight. For equipment, no surprise that I love the ultra rare pieces as do all pilots.
Sten Hugo Hiller Yes we love them, if we get them. Now it seem your team members are getting impatient, might be they have planned a victory celebration for you. any final words?
Luc Lachanche Long live to the kotms 😁.But it is the opponents that make famous battles The better they are, the more fame the winner get.
Sten Hugo Hiller True words. Think of the fame I might have gotten... Happy celebration!
Luc Lachanche You will have your turn and thank you.
Off he went. A small celebration before (probably) Claiming Gold in the CW as well. A good point for me was now he would be in a higher division than me for the next few KOTMs, unless they changed the brackets again.
Upcoming Event: Point Mech Panic Get your best mech, give it your best equipment and best weapons and slug it out in a (hopefully) longer one on one slugfest than the last.
Event ends January 26 between 2000 and 2100 new York Time
