Usui's design makes me wanna make a HM/Story of Seasons dmmd AU... Fuck it:

Aoba - Player character therefore out unsuspecting farmer, gets left his parent's farm on the edge of town. Doesn't find out till he turns 23. Previously worked at Haga-san's general store. Can see forest sprites, which other people cannot.

Tae - Town Doctor who runs a small clinic that sells animal medicine as well. Aoba used to live with her at the clinic before moving out to live on the farm. Still comes by all the time to eat.

Haga - Runs the general store in town. Sells farming supplies and basic goods. The terrible trio still run amuck in this shop too.

Yoshie - Mayor and #1 nosey neighbor. Gives town improvement quests. Often sends Aoba treats and recipes in the mail. Akushima - Town's police. Constant harassing you about regulations and minor rule violations. Always patrolling around town.

Sei - Mysterious stranger that starts showing up in town after Aoba takes over the farm, seen in town only on sundays. Sometimes can be found in the forest clearing. Turns out he is actually a human form of the Harvest Goddess. Goddess form is Usui. Gives player farming quests to restore the town to balance with nature. Mizuki - Owns the town's only inn. The Black Needle, which is also a tavern that the townsfolk often gather at in the evening. Still does tattoo work in a private studio in the back. Sometime people come from out of town to seek out his skills.

Koujaku- A hairdresser who moved back to town a few years ago, used to play with Aoba as kids. Opens up a shop that- in addition to serving as a salon- sells new outfits. Very well liked in town and known for lending a helping hand to anyone who needs it.

Noiz - Moved to town somewhat recently and has a permanent room rented out at The Black Needle. He is barely seen out around the town, only at the occasional meal time in the tavern. No one knows him very well or why he moved here. Sticks out in the otherwise tight knit town. Said to be a programmer of some kind, working freelance.

Mink- Runs his own farm just outside of town. Lived here a long time but is fairly reclusive, but well respected. Comes to town to do carpentry work for the townsfolk. He offers to sells seeds from his farm to Aoba once he starts his farm. He can be commissioned to improve farm buildings as well.

Clear - Somewhat mysterious man who lives down near the ocean. Moved here after his grandfather passed away. Wanted to be near the ocean. Collects sea shells and baubles for a living. Gives the Aoba a fishing rod he bought but never figured out how to use (wanted to catch jellyfish). Can still be a secret robot, harvest moon get's wild sometimes. Ren - Basically the secret bachelor option in this game, like the witch/wizard character usually is. Forest sprite that is close to Aoba. Was in the form of a small fluffy talking dog that Aoba has known since he was a kid. Hangs out on the farm with Aoba. As part of doing a side harvest goddess quest line, Sei grants Ren a human body.

Allmates - Torn between keeping them as-is (minus ren) or making them all Forest sprites that start socializing with townsfolk as your progress the Harvest goddess quests and more people are able to see them again.

Virus and Trip - Weirdos who come to town on occasion and cause problems for Aoba. Interested in the the legend of the Harvest goddess and the power associated. Show up to hinder or help with the main questline depending on their mood.

I just made this side blog so I'm making a call bc I wanna put more content on here since my other blog seems to be headed towards discourse and random stuff.

Anti-shippers who may be seeing this, don't even bother just block me now.

Also probably don't respond if you post explicit or frequent shota/loli/cub stuff, I make one singular exception for a specific Pokemon but otherwise it's my personal preference to not want to see it. I won't block you or anything, it's just not what I'm looking for.

DMMD, I like any ships that don't involve Virus, Trip, or any of the old side characters. (Toue, Haga-san, Granny) Poly is encouraged but not a requirement! May also include Aoba/Sei I'm not picky about that one.

Non-hater Snape posts, specifically Snarry or Severitus (I like them as separate things) but normal fan posts are good too! I haven't interacted with the main HP series in forever and basically live off of fanfiction now.

Shall We Date: Obey Me, demoncest friendly. (I personally think the only one who maybe has blood relation is Satan + Lucifer, and also they're demons so idec about their genetics.)

LOTR content, my ships are Thrandolas, Elrondir, Elladan/Elrohir with Elrond sometimes added, Fili/Kili with Thorin sometimes added. Bagginshield has also grown on me and I also kind of crack ship the literal clusterfuck that is the Feanorian OT8.

Pokephilia content, and this is where my cub exception comes in and it is Riolu. (I don't ship any other "baby" Pokémon and don't consider other first stages/small Pokémon to be cub since if they aren't legendaries they can breed in-game and I see all legendaries as immortal adults.) Also I ship N with the B/W PC but I consider them both to be around the same age.

MHA, current ships are Bakudeku, Kiribaku, and Todoroki/Deku. I probably like more but it's 3 am and brain isn't working.

Dragon Age. I ship a good chunk of the gay shit tbh except with Oghren and Sten aka the new Arishok bc they both scare me. I'm also a sucker for Modern Character in Thedas fics.

WTNV, so far my only ship is the main Cecilos ship but I prefer eldritch!Cecil. Oh wait I also kinda ship the NVCR Station Management and Night Vale City Council but I don't see content for them ever.

Any Eldritch horror/human ship tbh. Just teratophilia and nonhuman characters in general.

DMMD for the fandom thingy !

The first character I fell in love with:  REN!  The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:  Akushima.   I wouldn’t say ‘love,’ (or even ‘like’ sometimes) but he kinda grew on me?  I find him to be entertaining at least.  (But he needs to stop harrassing my favs.!)The character I like the least:  TRIPThe most attractive character:  Well, frick.  This is a toughie, but I’ll go w/ Ren.The funniest character:  Aoba or Clear.The character I’d slap:  TRIPThree pairings I love:  Renao, Noijaku, Mizukou.One pairing I don’t love:  Uhhh.....Clara x Ren, I guess.  One pairing that’s a guilty pleasure: Uhhh.....Haga x Tae-san, tbh?One thing I like in fanfic:  Polyam Ships!  One thing I dislike in fanfic:  Heavy Gore, Foodplay, Emetophilia, The Trash Not Twins.

My brain won’t stop throwing DMMD au’s at me, so here’s a figure skating AU:

Koujaku, Aoba, and Mizuki were rinkmates when they were little

Koujaku was always a really graceful and powerful skater, and Aoba admired and looked up to him like really a lot

Aoba kept getting picked on for his long hair, which he’d started growing out to be like Koujaku except where Koujaku still managed to keep a masculine kind of edge to his appearance, Aoba just looked downright girly

Koujaku encouraged him to keep growing it and own his appearance, because if he finds strength and power in it, then nobody can use it against him

As a junior, Aoba was actually kind of reckless on the ice, juxtaposing his delicate features (played to the hilt) with rough and violent routines

he nearly got into what could’ve been a pretty bad accident because of it, though, so he altered his image by the time he moved into the senior division

Aoba still plays up his delicate features, but he uses really bright and flashy costumes against elegant and flowy routines

but he really surprises people off the ice for how rough he is in reality (“it’s a stage, a show - what’s hard to understand?”)

Koujaku sets up the hairstyle for Aoba’s costumes and teaches Sei how to do it, so Sei’s always in charge of Aoba’s hair and makeup

Tae-san and Haga-san both coach Aoba (Tae’s a lot harsher on Aoba, so Haga’s p much there to be the balancing factor)

Mizuki is the Phichit - he takes a ton of selfies and pictures of everyone

Noiz is a German skater mostly known for his ridiculous speed on the ice

like, his routines are okay on a base level, but the entire draw is just how fast he is on the ice, making him fascinating to watch

he also absolutely never fails to recover almost immediately from any fall, no matter how bad it is

part of it’s due to his high pain tolerance, which is to the point where one fall actually left a hairline fracture in his ankle and he still finished his program with no problem - nobody even realized he was hurt until he limped off the ice and deadpan told his coach “I think I twisted it”

Theo is Noiz’s manager and basically his PR department bc Noiz really hates talking to most people

(He goes by “Noiz” as what amounts to a stage name bc seriously “Wilhelm” is just not his image)

all of Noiz’s fans wear bunny ears and toss him rabbit-themed goodies

this confused him for a while until Aoba pointed out “don’t you have rabbits?” “oh. Is that why?” “plus it’s like...you’re quick like a bunny, y’know?” > Noiz just smirks > it takes Aoba a second before he flips “NOT LIKE THAT” “well it’s not wrong...” “OH MY GOD”

Clear is Finnish. Mink is his coach. Nobody really understands how they work so well because Clear is this sweet, bubbly thing, and Mink is just Grumpy (but Clear insists that Mink is super nice and helpful and Clear is really grateful to have him as a coach)

Clear was in an accident as a child, leaving him blind in his right eye, his hearing impaired in his right ear, and the right side of his face discolored

objectively it’s not terribly noticeable, but Clear is still super insecure about it, so his costumes always involve covering up the right side of his face

ugh I can’t stop thinking about this AU. I might just use it as a basis for drawing/designing costumes for them (I mean seriously, Aoba would look foine in a leotard, don’t even deny it)

Okay, I think I might have a possible year that DMMD takes place in based on these clues. Haga-san seems to have marked some June dates on the white board. However, the calendar says the current month has 31 days. So it can’t be June yet so I’m going to assume that it’s currently May. The following years are ones where May falls on a first. 

2010 2021 2027 2032 2038 2049

I’m ruling out 2010 since it’s before DMMD came out. 2021 is too near to have the technology they have. I’m going to go with 2049 for now because it’s possible that they could have the advanced technology but still have some older folks who lived through the 70′s, 80′s and 90′s and still have an attachment to retro things.

DMMD x HP

Aoba - Slytherin. Fight me, the guy realized his voice drew people to him, so he used it to sell more shit from his store. (Also, Sly is Aoba. Sly fits Slytherin to a T, and he’s not a radical personality - he’s literally Aoba’s id. The boy’s a fucking Slytherin, he’s just a really nice one.)

Noiz - Slytherin. Sure he's smart enough to be a Ravenclaw, but he only appreciates information as a commodity. (Why do you think he gets so annoyed when Mink calls him an “information maniac”? It’s not the information itself he’s after - it’s the fact that he can use it for his own gain.)

Koujaku - Gryffindor. Like whoa. Trying to go after a really dangerous guy without telling your really useful best friend just because you don't want him to get hurt is such a fucking Gryffindor move.

Clear - Hufflepuff. Who's gonna argue, I mean really.

Ren - could honestly be Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. His loyalty to Aoba and his tenacity in taking his job seriously says Hufflepuff, but his protectiveness and his willingness to do what he thinks is right says Gryffindor. (But honestly, he’d just try to follow Aoba, so if he was called up before Aoba, he’d probably try to angle for Gryffindor, thinking Aoba would get sorted there, and then be REALLY UPSET when Aoba got sorted into Slytherin.)

Sei - Slytherin. Fuckin hear me out: Sei planned the whole fall of Platinum Jail. He waited until the right time, when the presence of somebody from the Old Resident District wouldn’t be amiss, and legit piggybacked on everyone else’s plans just to get Aoba to Platinum Jail. He also warned Aoba about Tae getting taken, essentially manipulating Aoba into a) keeping Tae from treating Sei, and b) wanting to uncover who Morphine was working for. He brought Aoba to him, and even in the routes where Aoba isn’t able to get to Sei, Sei is still aware of Scratch’s plan and presumably uses the explosion as a last resort to destroy himself along with all of Toue’s research on Sei’s eyes. The guy is cunning af and his only ambition was to die, and he fucking made sure it happened.

Mizuki - Gryffindor, honestly. He’d be considered for Hufflepuff, but he’s just reckless enough for Gryffindor. He did kind of jump head-first into a situation he didn’t have all the information on just because he felt that it was a last resort to do what he thought was necessary to save his found family...

Mizuki and Koujaku are both worried about their reputations when they start crushing on/dating Slytherins, until Noiz just ups and dates a goddamn Hufflepuff and that’s the biggest talk of the school so MizuSei and KouAo just quietly go along their way... Because really, who ever heard of a Hufflepuff dating a Slytherin, that just doesn’t happen...

Mink is the potions master. Everyone assumes that he was in Slytherin...but he was actually a Gryffindor.

Tae is the head of Gryffindor and the Transfiguration teacher. Most everyone’s scared of her, and even the ones that aren’t respect her a great deal...except for Aoba, who keeps being a shit. She has no idea why the twins are in Slytherin except she knows exactly why they’re in Slytherin.

Haga-san is the Herbology teacher and head of Hufflepuff. He’s like the nicest teacher in school...as long as you don’t call him Baldy.

Virus is the Slytherin Head Boy and Trip is this second-year Slytherin that just follows Virus around and Is Scary.
