Best Time to Visit Seychelles: A Complete Guide
Tumblr media
Seychelles, an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, is a paradise for people who yearn for unspoiled beaches, blue ocean, and tropical landscape. But when to visit Seychelles? In this guide, we have provided a month-by-month description so that you can plan your perfect holiday.
Best Seasons to Visit Seychelles
Seychelles is in the tropics, so it’s available throughout the year. There are two distinct seasons influencing the climate:
The Dry Season (May — September) — Cooler temperatures, dryness, and ideal for outdoor activities.
The Wet Season (November — March) — Warm temperatures, the occasional shower, but lush greenery.
We recommend April, May, October, and November, when all is good weather and sea is flat.
Month-by-Month Guide to Seychelles Weather
January — February: Warm and Humid
Average Temperature: 27–30°C (81–86°F)
Rainfall: High (frequent showers)
Best For: Budget travelers, bird watching, verdant views
Although January and February have the heavy rainfalls, the rains are usually in the form of short showers which are followed by sunshine. The hotels and flight prices become less expensive during these months, giving budget travelers the ideal chance to book a flight to the Seychelles and enjoy their portion of stunning beaches.
March — April: Pre-Dry Season
Average Temperature: 28–31°C (82–88°F)
Rainfall: Moderate
Best For: Snorkeling, scuba diving, photography
The wet season comes to a close, and the waters become crystal-clear, an ideal period for water sports. Scuba diving fans will enjoy the teeming marine life with good visibility.
May — June: Start of Dry Season
Average Temperature: 26–29°C (79–84°F)
Rainfall: Low
Tumblr media
Weather is drier and cooler, and perfect weather to trek trails like Copolia Trail in Mahe or Vallee de Mai in Praslin. Sailing weather is also perfect.
July — August: High Dry Season
Average Temperature: 25–28°C (77–82°F)
Rainfall: Very little
Ideal For: Beach life, adventure sports, whale shark tours
July and August are the best months to travel to Seychelles. The winds are at their strongest and ideal for kiteboarding and windsurfing. The hotels get fully booked, so book as early as possible.
September — October: End Dry Season
Average Temperature: 26–30°C (79–86°F)
Rainfall: Light
Best For: Diving, turtle watching, nature lovers
Seas begin settling down, and turtle nesting time on islands such as Aldabra Atoll starts. Visibility while diving is excellent, making it a good time for diving. Staying at a Seychelles beach resort at that time is pure relaxation.
November — December: Transition Wet Season
Average Temperature: 27–31°C (81–88°F)
Rainfall: Increasing
Best For: Festivals, Christmas vacations, bird watching
Tumblr media
Cheapest Time to Visit Seychelles
For budget travelers, the cheapest months are January, February, May, and November since flights and accommodation offer discounts. It’s always best to advance book in order to acquire the best deals.
Festivals & Events in Seychelles
Creole Festival (October): A celebration that showcases Creole music, cuisine, and traditions.
Seychelles Ocean Festival (December): Perfect for ocean lovers and conservationists.
Carnaval International de Victoria (April): A vibrant carnival with music and street parades.
Final Thoughts
Seychelles is a tropical heaven that offers something new and different each time of year. If you are looking for adventure, relaxation, or cultural experiences, understanding the seasons will assist you in planning an unforgettable vacation. Reserving a stay at a Seychelles beach resort assures a luxurious and relaxing getaway, while early flight reservations ensure the best deals when you travel to the Seychelles.

"The Seychelles has become a major tourist destination for beachgoing and scuba diving, but it’s not only humans that are beginning to flock to this island.
In what marine biologists have described as a “phenomenal finding,” a survey of whales around the territorial waters of this archipelagic nation revealed the presence of blue whales—over a dozen.
It’s the first time they’ve been seen in these warm seas since 1966, and it’s a wonderful milestone in a long and increasingly successful recovery for the world’s largest animal.
The Seychelles are located in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa, and they were historically a stopover point for Soviet whalers en route to Antarctica. The years 1963 to 1966 were particularly difficult for whales here, and many were taken before the International Convention on the Regulation of Whaling put an end to the practice of hunting baleen whales in 1973.
Since 1966, no dedicated investigation of whales in the Seychelles had been made until 2020, when a partnership of four universities conducted an acoustic survey over the period of two years.
They made five different sightings of groups of up to 10 animals.
“This was a phenomenal finding,” Jeremy Kiszka, a co-author of the paper from Florida International University, wrote in The Conversation. “We were prepared to not see any blue whales due to the high level of hunting that occurred fairly recently and absolutely no information was available since the last blue whale was killed in the region in 1964.” ...
The team behind the survey sent images taken of the whales’ dorsal sides to a database to see if any of them had been recorded before, and amid the reel, not a single one was a match with any other photographed whale.
This, the team suggests, means they have probably never been seen before, which for a species that big might seem strange, but along with there being only 5,000 to 15,000 on Earth, they migrate vast distances while diving deep, making recording their movements incredibly challenging.
The survey identified 23 whale species in total using hydroponic mics over 2 years with peak activity coming between December and April. This is a fascinating finding that suggests something about the seas around the Seychelles makes for excellent whale habitat."

what does costa sirena like to do in her free time? :O
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Other than watching dramatic telenovelas she has recently gotten into anime thanks to Mexico introducing her to it lol. It began with Mexico going on about Dragon Ball and the rest is history.
When she's serious she spends a lot of time studying marine biology and boosting wildlife conservation. She also goes diving and actually participates in spearfishing invasive fish. She'll go on trips with her Island neighbors and make a competition of who can hunt the most lionfish, somehow America invites himself in everytime.
also Seychelles HC: she straightens her hair with a flat iron hair straightener. She has a lot of hair so she'll ask Costa Sirena to help her with it even though she encourages her to let out her natural curly hair.

A startling new discovery has rocked both the botany and marine biology communities – a new species of coconut has been discovered growing underwater around the remote island archipelago of Nullepartia!
For centuries, sailors’ folklore has told of a mysterious coconut-like fruit that floats from the bottom of the Indian Ocean. In 17th century Europe, this enigmatic seed prized in cabinets of curiosities and dubbed “La Noix de La Sirene”. No specimens of the seed have survived into the 21st century, leading many historians and botanists to conclude the "Mermaid's Coconut" was a legend… until now!
The uninhabited volcanic islands of Nullepartia were claimed by France in the late 18th century, but their obscure location far from trade routes and lack of natural resources meant few people have ever travelled there. In early 2024 an intrepid team of scientists led by Dr. Philippe Faux and professional adventurer Miguel La Variel tracked down the true origin of La Noix de La Sirene. According to the team’s reports, the beaches of Nullepartia are littered with the heart-shaped coconuts and more were floating ashore. The team’s scuba divers discovered palm-like plants bearing the distinctive seeds growing underwater on the reefs around the islands. However, the dive team may be suffering from hallucinations becasue they reported half-fish, half-human beings armed with spears chasing them away from the palm grove. The scientific community is anxiously awaiting the next report, but strangely the team has gone silent since their last dive to collect specimens of La Noix de La Sirene…
APRIL FOOLS!
This fake news story was inspired by the real plant Lodoicea maldivica, an endemic Seychelles palm species aka the "Coco de Mer". This species has the largest naturally occurring fruit, weighing up to 36 kg and taking 8 years to mature. Since its biological origin remained unknown until 1743, the seed was the inspiration for many myths like the fictional story above!
Stay curious and always use your critical thinking skills!

Hmm my favourite ghosty ones would probably be bowers mansion, conjuring 1&2, queen mary with kian and jc, and crescent hotel. and any one that has a crazy good estes session.
xplr days probably nylex towers cuz das ma cityyyy, the hospital with jake, the six flags one definitely. i also really love the shot of them on top of the silo on the edge.
theyre just the ones that stand out off the bat, i probably have an actual favourite that i cant think abt lol
Im watching villisca now, i like nate :) i like any video he’s in bc he’s dope. also its nice to see a non-yter person who is so comfortable in front of the camera, too.
Oh i forgot 25x25 videos… the drifting episode was my fave by far. scuba diving, um. I actually havent seen many but also that one where they got stranded on the side of the road and then a fan rescued them lol she was so hype lol
- aussie anon
I like the part in Bowers where they find the room full of cats. That part is just so sweet.
I forgot they went to Alaska during 25x25! The fact that they got stuck on the side of the road in freezing cold temps like that and probably could've been in real danger but was saved by a random fan (and then gave that fan Colby's pants?!) is such a Sam and Colby thing to happen, I swear 🤣.
Some of the 25x25 videos are great, but the ones at the end where they ran out of steam and confidence and uumph are probably best left unwatched. The Seychelles videos are ok, I guess, but pretty much anything they did in Vegas is just...meh.
I wish they had followed through with their original vision for it - we would've gotten Colby's song as an episode, Sam's marathon as an episode, them learning how to ride motorcycles and taking a road trip...that would've played out much differently if they were able to fully see it through.
Ah, well. What can ya do.
Anyway, Nate! We love Nate. Nate is the absolute cream of the crop of people they bring with them (imo). He's so chill and works so well with them and with the camera.

Tbf to SnC 25x25 was inauthentic, they had other people filming it, they had other people editing it with them, it was a lot more scripted and it was stuff which everyone else on youtube was doing at the time. Though there were moments within the series which did shine and show the real them, a lot of it felt incredibly fake and plastic and wooden and just soso cringey.
25x25 also felt very rich boys waving money around and show offy to me, which made it rather unrelatable in all honesty and this was the main reason alot of the group of SnC fans I knew online completely stopped watching them. (they stopped watching TFIL for much the same reasons very quickly)
So I can understand when they say it's inauthentic because in truth it was. We get a lot more authentic stuff in their haunted content because they do all of it themselves and its a lot less scripted and less planned out which can also be viewed as a bad thing cos as you said it means they work none stop and take no breaks even when one of them is seriously ill.
I will say I loved parts of 25x25 but overall thinking them talking badly about it is a sign of their downfall like you seem to suggest shows that you don't view their content with quite the same eyes as a lot of the fandom.
Also sorry to burst the bubble but they've always been about the money ever since they started selling merch, so it is mildly amusing you've only just noticed that now.
your idea of authentic and my idea of authentic are very much opposite lol
bc while the content they do now, in theory, is them… so was 25x25, especially the earlier episodes.
before snc started 25x25, they were so EXCITED to film this content. they couldn't wait to post about it, they were hyped as hell to film bc it was fresh and new. that level of excitement, to me, hasn't been seen since when it comes to them talking about the content they make now. maybe with the original hell week. that was about the last time they felt genuinely excited for what they were making.
the first episode was about them getting tattoos that were about one another. it was about them connecting and showing how much they cared about one another. they showed how much they trusted each other by giving one another tattoos. that episode was all about their friendship. the car crash/drifting one was about confronting past traumas, same with the video of sam jumping off the rock in seychelles after breaking his back. the scuba diving video was how to deal with anxiety on a massive scale and really pushing yourself to do something you want to do.
these videos were such a great look into who they were as ppl, something that this fandom has bitched about since day one. everyone wants to be close to snc, and they handed that to us on a silver platter, but too many ppl wanted ~spooky content~. once the reception of their new content died off and ppl weren't watching, snc clearly lost all momentum they had for what they were creating, which is why you get things like the vegas video. like yeah, that was a little braggadocios, but snc aren't exactly poor middle class americans either. they have two fucking mcmansions, one of which they were living in at the time. having money is very much an snc thing. colby's closet is kinda proof of that alone lol
i think it also didn't play out in their favor bc it was the middle of the pandemic and travelling was still a no go. so doing exclusively travel content kinda seemed dumb and irresponsible. and it was. a lot of the content they made, they could have done back home or at least with a lot less travelling. but that mixed with ppl just wanting the same old content from them, even tho it wasn't gonna happen for a while, caused a lot of ppl to dip from snc's content altogether. it also didn't help that being in this fandom at the time was kind of a hellscape.
could 25x25 be a little over produced at times? sure. i won't argue against that. but to pretend that it was less like snc isn't reality, to me. that was them just as much as this content is them. the difference is they had a fire under their ass to make something back then. they had passion. and now this… this just feels like a job. like going thru the motions.
that's not to say i think they don't care about their content at all. clearly they do. but the spark of passion they one had for this haunted content is gone to me. they pigeonholed themselves into being ghost hunters and now are somewhat regretting it. they overwork themselves and have no personal lives. and that is causing them to have burn out that will eventually come to bite them in the ass.
and obviously they do shit for money and views. it's their job after all. i've never pretended to not know that. but there is a difference between "i get to work a job i love and also make a lot of money" and "i'm doing this job bc it makes money, it is what it is". it's the lack of love for the content that is starting to seep thru, imo.

What to Consider Before Visiting a Visa-Free Country as a UAE Resident
Travelling to visa-free destinations requires you to prepare adequately and be educated about certain points to ensure an enjoyable journey.
1. Verify Entry Requirements
While many countries offer visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to UAE residents, entry conditions can vary.
For instance, Georgia requires travelers to have a passport valid for at least six months and a UAE residence permit valid for at least three months after the return date.
2. Understand Health and Safety Protocols
Each country has its health regulations, and they can differ between countries.
For example, Uzbekistan requires travellers to submit a health declaration within 48 hours before the trip.
It's advisable to check if vaccinations are needed or if there are any health advisories for your destination, before heading to the country.
3. Prepare Necessary Documentation
Even in visa-free countries for UAE residents, certain documents are essential, such as proof of accommodation during the trip and a return ticket to the UAE within the permitted period.
4. Check Financial Requirements
Some destinations might require proof of sufficient funds for the duration of your stay. It's prudent to carry bank statements or credit cards to demonstrate financial stability if requested at the airport.
5. Stay Informed About Local Laws
Understanding the local laws is important to avoid any penalties. For instance, in Seychelles, while visa-free access is granted, travellers must respect local environmental regulations.
6. Plan for Connectivity and Communication
Research mobile network options and internet availability in your destination country before arrival to be ready to purchase it once you enter the country.
Purchasing a local SIM card or ensuring your mobile plan includes international roaming can help you stay connected.
7. Stay Updated on Travel Advisories
Before travelling, consult the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs website for the latest travel advisories and safety information. This is especially important in regions experiencing political unrest or natural disasters.
Conclusion
By visiting one of the visa-free countries from UAE that we have discussed, you can ensure an amazing trip without any complications. Just make sure you book the tickets as soon as possible through a trusted travel agent. Also, choose good accommodation to level up your trip.

How to Start a Crypto Exchange Business: Cost & Setup Plan
Tumblr media
Introduction to the Crypto Exchange Market
Thinking about diving into the crypto world with your own exchange? You're not alone. The cryptocurrency industry has exploded in recent years, and crypto exchanges are at the heart of it all. These platforms allow users to buy, sell, and trade digital assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and thousands of altcoins. If you're wondering how to start a crypto exchange business, you’re in the right place.
Why Start a Crypto Exchange Business in 2025?
2025 is shaping up to be a golden era for digital assets. With more institutional adoption, regulatory frameworks becoming clearer, and blockchain technologies evolving rapidly, there's a strong demand for reliable and innovative crypto trading platforms.
Besides that, user trust in digital finance is growing. The opportunity to create a profitable, scalable business in a booming market has never been better. So, why not ride the wave?
Types of Cryptocurrency Exchanges
Before you build anything, let’s figure out what kind of exchange you want to run.
Centralized Crypto Exchange (CEX)
These are traditional exchanges like Coinbase and Binance. You control user data, order books, and custodial wallets. This model is popular but requires a higher level of regulatory compliance.
Decentralized Crypto Exchange (DEX)
No middlemen here. Smart contracts do the work, and users hold their own keys. Uniswap is a great example. It’s trustless and more secure in some ways—but harder to monetize and regulate.
Hybrid Exchanges
Why not have the best of both worlds? Hybrid exchanges combine the liquidity and functionality of CEX with the privacy and control of DEX. If you’re looking for innovation, this is it.
Understanding the Crypto Exchange Business Model
Your exchange’s model defines everything—how you make money, your target market, and the features you’ll need. Some focus purely on spot trading, while others offer futures, staking, or margin trading. Decide early what you’ll offer.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis
Like any good business, success starts with knowing the competition. Study giants like Binance, Kraken, and KuCoin. Look at:
Their features
UI/UX
Fee structures
Supported cryptocurrencies
Also, identify underserved niches or countries with emerging crypto markets. That’s your opening.
Legal Requirements and Compliance
This is not the Wild West anymore. You’ll need to play by the rules—big time.
Licensing by Jurisdiction
Different countries = different rules. For instance:
USA: Requires Money Service Business (MSB) registration with FinCEN.
Estonia, Lithuania, Seychelles: Easier licensing frameworks.
Dubai and Singapore: Emerging crypto hubs with clear guidelines.
KYC/AML Obligations
Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols are mandatory almost everywhere. You'll need integrated KYC verification tools and transaction monitoring systems.
Technical Infrastructure and Software
Your platform must be rock-solid. Here’s what to consider:
Choosing Between White-Label vs Custom Development
White-Label Solutions: Fast and cheaper. Great if you want to get started quickly.
Custom Development: More expensive, but tailored exactly to your needs.
Must-Have Features for a Crypto Exchange
User dashboard and profile management
Order book and matching engine
Wallet integration
Trading charts and analytics
Admin panel for monitoring
Security protocols
Security Protocols and Measures
Security isn’t optional—it's life or death in crypto. Your platform must be:
Encrypted: End-to-end SSL and data encryption.
Protected: Multi-signature wallets, firewalls, and DDoS protection.
Audited: Get a third-party security audit before launch.
Pro tip: Use cold wallets for storing most user funds.
Cost Breakdown to Launch a Crypto Exchange
So, how much does it cost to start a crypto exchange? Here's a realistic breakdown:
Licensing and Legal Fees
Jurisdiction-based: $10,000–$100,000+
Ongoing legal compliance: $5,000/month
Development and Technology Cost
White-label solution: $25,000–$60,000
Custom-built exchange: $100,000–$500,000+
Security features: $15,000–$50,000
Marketing and Operational Costs
Initial marketing: $20,000–$100,000
Team salaries and operations: $10,000/month+
Step-by-Step Setup Plan for Your Crypto Exchange
Let’s get practical. Here's a roadmap to make it happen.
Step 1: Define Your Business Scope
Determine what kind of exchange you want, your target market, and supported currencies.
Step 2: Legal Registration and Licensing
Select your jurisdiction, register your business, and apply for the necessary licenses.
Step 3: Build the Exchange Platform
Choose between white-label or custom development. Work with experienced developers.
Step 4: Implement Liquidity Solutions
Partner with liquidity providers or integrate with external exchanges via APIs to avoid low-volume problems.
Step 5: Test and Launch
Perform rigorous testing—alpha, beta, and security audits—before going live.
Monetization: How Do Crypto Exchanges Make Money?
Want to know where the real cash comes in? Here’s how:
Trading fees: Your bread and butter (typically 0.1%–0.5%)
Withdrawal fees: Small cuts when users withdraw crypto or fiat
Listing fees: New coins pay to get listed
Margin trading interest: Earn from users borrowing funds
Staking rewards: Share profits with users while taking a fee
Marketing Strategies for a Crypto Exchange
Even the best exchange will flop without users. Here's how to attract them:
SEO & Content Marketing: Blog posts, tutorials, and market insights
Social Media Campaigns: Twitter, Reddit, Discord—build a community
Referral Programs: Reward users for inviting others
Influencer Partnerships: Collaborate with crypto YouTubers and streamers
Paid Ads: Run PPC and display ads to drive immediate traffic
Common Challenges and How to Overcome Them
Running a crypto exchange isn’t a cakewalk. Here’s what might trip you up—and how to dodge it:
Regulatory hurdles: Hire a good legal team from day one.
Liquidity issues: Use liquidity aggregators to fill order books.
Security breaches: Invest in cyber defense and get regular audits.
User trust: Offer 24/7 support, a clean UI, and strong security.
Conclusion
Starting a crypto exchange business in 2025 is both exciting and challenging. With a strategic setup plan, the right technical partners, and clear compliance, you can tap into one of the most promising industries of the decade. While the startup costs can be high, the potential returns are well worth it. Just remember—trust and security are everything in this business.
So, are you ready to build the next Binance or Coinbase?
