So a game I've been playing recently has some plural representation... that was a surprise.

The game is called Potion Permit, it's a fun little game (although I would not recommend it if you dislike repetitive gameplay) and I've been enjoying it. I was checking the character list, scrolled past a few, and stopped.

"I swear I just saw the word dissociative."

I was right, lol. Turns out one of the characters has DID. Overall, I'd say (from what I've seen and my knowledge of the disorder) the representation isn't too bad. The description does use the term "alternate personality" or something along those lines, which I don't love, but it's not too bad. It could be a lot worse, at least.

Apparently, along his friendship quest line, Dev (the uh I suck at terminology) actually learns to appreciate Dan (his alter) more. At the point in his quest line I'm at, he seems ashamed of him and apologizes whenever he fronts. Here's what the wiki says, which is pulled from the game:

I think it's a pretty decent rep of DID overall, although it definitely has some small faults. However, I've seen significantly worse, so ill give it a pass lol.

Although... genuine question, where does he get the outfit change???? Like, I get it's a visual cue to signify the front change, but logically it makes no sense. How tf did he change clothing in the middle of the park I think that's illegal

🛠️ Builderman definitely kickstarted the whole thing! Literally!

🛠️ He got Orion's heart to start beating and feeling emotions!

🛠️ Builderman definitely wants winghugs.

🛠️ If you haven't caught on yet, Orion's technically an angel. Builderman doesn't care. He's still his beloved.

🛠️ Orion makes dove noises. He thinks Builderman doesn't notice. He does. He thinks they're cute.

🛠️ Orion just has dove-like behaviors in general. He can't see glass(the poor windows), he coos, he chirps, he splashes around in the bath like an idiot, y'know! Typical stuff!

🛠️ Orion definitely has had freak-outs in front of BM before. BM has tried to stay there the whole time every single time.

🛠️ Orion doesn't like when BM puts himself in danger to test new experiences, but BM always tells him it'll be fine! He'll be home safe in time for dinner!

🛠️ Beforehand, Orion didn't really NEED to eat, but he still did so BM didn't feel othered or anything like that. He was a slow, silent, and gentle eater.

🛠️ Post-dewinging? He's become an aggressive eater, barely ever sharing any he has unless it's Shedletsky or Builderman.

🛠️ Lazy sunday mornings are definitely a thing with these two!
