Which character from the new Disventure Camp season you think will win?

Okay, to be honest:

Either Hannah or Jade

Hannah because she gives Priya vibes to me (without the parts where she is literally a writes pet and sometimes a literal Mary sue)

Jade because she gives leshawna vibes and she looks like the character that would look at the screen with a "I'm literally the UNIC normal/good character in here" look. Like, I just know she's going to be a really chill and sweet characters that the entire cast loves/likes (just like leshawna or Gwen)

And to be honest, my final 3 would be: Hannah, Jade and either Ted or Isabel (they both gives off HUGE main villain AND joke/secondary villain vibes, especially that they seemed to want to warn the audience that "hey, we are not like those other idiots wahaha😈")

Alessio: John Lennon looking ass. Probably going to get booted right around merge

Logan: Frat boy incarnate, either a pre-merge boot or an early merge boot

Richard: Looks cool, but most likely going to be a pre-merge boot

Ivy: Pre-merge boot me thinks. I like her design though

Tristan: Love his design, hoping he goes far

Zaid: No strong opinions. Probably an early to mid merge boot

Jade: Love her, really hope she goes far

Diego: Love him too, also hoping he gets far

Spencer: We found our jerk of the season gang. Either he's voted out right before merge or shortly after it

Lynda: No strong opinions. Mostly likely a pre-merge boot

Marissa: Love her, definitely going far in the game

THINGS I WANT TO SEE IN DISVENTURE CAMP: CARNIVAL OF CHAOS

This is stuff I can only pray for and hope… PLEASE… I love the cast and I only wish them the best…

1. I NEED Emily to take on a role like Chef where she clocks all the contestants. THAT WAS SO FUNNY and she’s supposed to be like the gossip girl/instigator. That wasn’t rlly explored in DCAS, so it would be a good way to incorporate her<3

2. There NEEDS to be more advantages. The idol is so overused and in DCAS it only appeared as a plot device. If the game wants to be interesting, there should be more aspects in the game. If not, then at least have the idol appear at the start and not randomly at the final 7 😭😭

3. MORE RELATIONSHIP DYNAMICS.

I’m so sick of every dynamic being enemies, friends, crushes, and especially LOVERS. There are SO many ways to make relationships without having them be one of those four things. It’s very rare that a relationship dynamic isn’t one that’s listed above.

Some examples of different dynamics:

One person is envious while the other is oblivious

4. With that said, NO MORE LOVE TRIANGLES PLEASE TO GOD.

WE HAD A TRIANGLE IN SEASON 2. TWO MORE IN SEASON 3. AND A WHOLE SQUARE TOO. You can add tension in relationships without resorting to a triangle. HELL, you can add tension in FRIENDSHIPS. No more triangles. PLEASE.

5. Please don’t make the ending a moral again. “The real money was the friends—” NO. I’m watching a show where 18 people compete for MONEY. I WANT TO WATCH THEM. COMPETE.

I fear that’s literally the whole appeal. This works everywhere EXCEPT DISVENTURE CAMP.

6. Adding on, please don’t repeat a Jake and Riya thing. I don’t want to watch a “good guy” and a “bad guy” fight where the hero sucks at the game they’re playing and the villain is actually playing the game. Make the villains be morally bad but not fucking evil or derailed asf.

7. Make Anastasia, Amalie, Ted, and Spencer the final 4. 😛 Also make them the villains. Make a villain final 4. Make a villain final 6 actually. MAKE A VILLAIN FINAL 6. I want to see these guys be evil and then fucking TURN on each other when they reach the end. THAT’S DRAMA. THATS WHAT I WANNA WATCH. cut throat…

8. Did I say no love triangles? I’ll say it again. No love triangles. PLEASE NO LOVE TRIANGLES.

9. I want Lynda to try the Fiore strategy but everyone sees past her bullshit. That would be so fucking funny please oh god.

10. Please don’t have the hosts have a whole plot line again. Like yeah, I want to see them interact (I love Trevor and Emily)((fix them.)) But they don’t need a whole storyline. I don’t even know what it would be abt??? I’m worried it’ll just be forced drama again. Let’s not.

Potential for fun dynamics with these pairs. I’d prefer a decline of romantic couples but if we HAVE to these are my picks. (“Can’t bitches just be friends?”)

12. I want to see complex characters actually be complex. Especially complex female characters. Riya was done wrong I love her but c’mon 😭😭😭… Complex characters are seen to have multiple layers. For a villain, this would be doing bad things but include: doubt, regret, guilt, just any internal conflict. Please don’t have them just make a face or tear up and then just go back to them. Have their complexity actually affect their behavior.

Also: Not every character needs to be redeemed. Actually, it’s very common to have character progression. However, we should definitely have character regression as well. (Not the Jake kind that sucked ass)

I wanna see a nicer character slowly become more selfish. Kinda like Riya in season 2. That would be really interesting to watch rather a villain become nice. That’s honestly overused.

13. Please have at least everyone be a LITTLE strategic. It was so painful watching characters like Tom, Connor, Aiden, and especially fucking JAKE barely playing the game. Not every character has to be strategical, but can they at least have an ounce of thought…

14. I want to see more twists. All Stars felt bland when the only game twists were the rejoin and the random idol. I want team swaps, I want bogus eliminations, I want more game functionality. If I wanted to watch characters interact, I’d turn on Love Island. Let’s watch the GAME GET PLAYED…

15. did I mention I don’t want love triangles? did I? No love triangles.

16. And lastly… I want my beautiful, amazing, elegant, marvelous, stunning, intelligent, radiant, QUEEN. to win. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗(we only use pink hearts for her.)

TTTE Swap AU Concept! (Or Classically Modern TTTE AU)

So I finally managed to have enough ideas to write an outline of what my swap au would be like! The characters that I currently swapping with each other are:

Let's start with what the characters' personalities that aren't wips are like and their inspirations!

Thomas: Very caring and kind while also being very bright and smart! He's less cheeky than his MC self and his love of skateboarding is swapped with creating inventions! He still goes crazy when he eats candy lol. His main inspiration is Mac from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends.

Percy: Acts like a dick and can be very lazy. Is very bratty and loves to mess around with other engines. Despite this, he can be very courageous and is willing to sacrifice himself for his dearest friends. Instead of being confused with long words, they are now confused by sarcasm despite using it themselves. Main inspo is Bloo from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends.

Toby: Very expressive but can often be very arrogant and reckless. Doesn't think that he's old and tries to fit in with the younger engines. As a result, he wears very modern clothes. and feels very insecure about himself deep down (Also he's loves fashion hehe hoho) Is willing to throw hands at anybody if they dare to hurt his loved ones. Character inspiration is Anne Maria from Total Drama with bits of Connor from Disventure Camp sneaked in.

James: Very selfless and very hardworking although he tends to be a people pleaser and gets stepped on a lot. He isn't vain anymore and red is just a favorite color of his. Still likes fashion although she sees it as a part time hobby. They can be a bit spoiled but still very sweet and generous. Dakota from Total Drama was their main inspiration.

Edward: Very uptight, seems to not smile at all and very serious. He doesn't have insomnia in this au but he is a massive workaholic, causing him to neglect his own wellbeing for the sake of the railway. Instead of being interested in punk culture, heavy metal and rock music, Edward takes a liking to the supernatural world. Is able to see and communicate with ghosts, demons, angels and other entities. Main inspiration was Loid Forger from Spy x Family. Oh and when he smiles, it usually looks something like this:

Gordon: Full of life and energy, always like helping people and is generally down-to-earth. Very humble and is very calm during dire situations. He tends to be very spontaneous and sometimes too excited when he sees an opportunity. Main inspo was Jack Skellington from the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Diesel: Absolutely loves steamies and the troublesome trucks and sees them as family in contrast to canon Diesel hating them. He is the main caretaker of the troublesome trucks and sees them as his own kids. So if you treat Diesel badly, the trucks are coming for your ass. Very mild and doesn't like to lie to others. Tends to be honest although it does sometimes lead him to accidentally insulting people. Is regarded as one of the nicest diesels by others. Character inspiration was Wilt from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends.

Side info:

The characters keep their og sexualities and genders from the MC AU. Toby x Edward, Toby x Henrietta, Gordon x BoCo etc are still canon to this AU. The characters are still them by the end of the day. Thomas is still Thomas, Percy is still Percy and so on. Backstories may be altered or different than the backstories from Modernly Classical. Same goes for headcanons. Their designs might change in order to fit their personalities more. (If I ever had the motivation to make them in GL2 lol)

AIGHT SO CARNIVAL OF CHAOS IS ONLY NINE DAYS AWAY, I’M GETTING IMPATIENT, AND ALL THE AUDITIONS AND CHARACTER INTROS ARE NOT HELPING OMG IM SO EXCITED FR FR.

• Tristan & Hannah were already 2 of the characters I was most excited about when the Carnival of Chaos cast photo was released, BUT THEN AS IT TURNS OUT, HANNAH’S A BISEXUAL FILIPINO-CANADIAN, AND TRISTAN’S NON-BINARY. THIS TYPE OF REPRESENTATION MAKES ME SO HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYY

• I SHIP THOSE TWO SO MUCH BTW, THEY’RE MY OTP FOR THIS SEASON

• Isabel’s gonna be an interesting character considering her whole influencer nun thing. Last I checked, James has more followers than her lmao

• Natalia’s audition is the best audition, argue with the wall. We appreciate Riya slander in this household and her talking about how the show needs her with all the twinks they nearly killed made me laugh my ass off (I DON’T DISLIKE RIYA BTW, I’M JUST VERY CONFLICTED ABOUT HER BECAUSE SHE’S AN INTERESTING BITCH OF A CHARACTER BECAUSE OF HER ARC THROUGHOUT S2 & ALL STARS)

• I saw a post on twt predicting that Benji’s gonna become a twist villain because of his perfectionist nature & the fact that he needs college funds or smth, and I’m honestly on that train that would be so interesting for his character.

• ALSO HE’S SUCH A FUCKING DORK, I LOVE HIM

• Literally all the VAs sound like they enjoy voicing their characters and that makes me rlly happy :D

• Anyways where was I. Oh ye, by the time I made this post, Alessio & Jade’s auditions aren’t posted yet, but their post & VA intros made me rlly intrigued by their characters!

• I’m mainly rooting for everyone that I just listed, but I genuinely like (or love in Hannah, Tristan, & Isabel’s case) every single character from this cast, until the actual season proves otherwise

• I wasn’t really rooting for Ted or Logan until the auditions dropped, but they seem pretty intriguing! Also Ted’s probably gonna be the villain of the season because of the whole poker player thing he has goin on

• Spencer’s gonna crush on Diego so hard lmao. Him saying that there isn’t gonna be a twist in the game that’ll throw him off course sealed his fate

• I’m also a lesbian Anastasia truther lol. Her and Marissa would be a great couple >:D

• Richard’s canonically gay, happily married to his husband, and has a daughter, good for him

• Lynda has the same VA as best girl Lucia, I’m sold

• Zaid’s gonna be an interesting character considering the fact that he’s a chef. Also he wants to give the money to his mom, that’s so fucking wholesome bro wtf-

• Amelie & Ivy are intriguing ig :p

• Trebek better be gay & happy during this season btw, it’s what they deserve. The Staff plot for this season’s gonna be interesting considering that Emily’s an intern, and will probably be third-wheeling them lmao.

• Also saw some people on twt complaining about all the gay pairings, and I just wanna say THIS IS DISVENTURE CAMP BITCH. WE LOVE GAY SHIPS IN THIS MOTHERFUCKER. TAKE YOUR HETERO ASS BACK TO TOTAL DRAMA- (/j btw. I saw the reboot seasons, mkulia and rajbow are adorable together)

• So yeah, I’m totally normal about the upcoming season :)

Decided to finally check out Disventure Camp and Reality Resort after seeing so much art for them on twitter and my goodness I need Monica to win Reality Resort.

Also have any first thoughts on the Disventure Camp season 4 cast? Personally I'm already theorizing that Alessio is going to make it into the Top 5.

glad you're enjoying Reality Resort! (and Disventure Camp, although that's obviously less relevant to my personal involvement.) while I obviously can't say anything about Monica's odds of winning the competition, i'm happy to hear that there's someone out there rooting for her :D

as for DC4, all of the art and voice acting i've seen so far looks really good. especially, as everyone's noted, those awesome front views and side profiles. i'm not jealous of them or anything...... not at all.......

despite the... controversial ending to All Stars and a hit-or-miss track record in the miniseries, i'm really rooting for DC4 to be a banger. i certainly think it has the potential to be that way!

in terms of how people will place, i might make a more thorough predictions post once all of the audition tapes are released, so i won't analyze too much here. however, i can share my pre-thoughts to those thoughts!

back in July, when the casting call first came out, i made this poll asking the people who they thought would win based on the sample lines only. i voted for "Cecilia," which turned out to be Hannah. while I don't think that Hannah is a bad choice, necessarily, i made that prediction back when i thought that Jake was going to win All Stars. given that Riya won instead, that leaves us with 3 female winners and 1 male winner across the four seasons. therefore, i now find it likely that the winner of DC4 will either be a guy or nonbinary.

given that, i've sort of started to think that Spencer might win? it's partially based off of my theory that he and Logan will be in a relationship. Logan's third audition line mentions his "family not being keen" on his matters of the heart, while Spencer has the line "he broke my heart." both of those make me think that the characters might be into men, and given ONC's love for shipping, two 20-year-old MLMs are bound to have some sort of romance bloom between them. they even have an elder gay sports coach father figure (Richard) for Logan's sports-loving homophobic-parents-having ass to help them along!

now, being in a relationship doesn't mean you're guaranteed to make it far into the game-- Will and Ashley placed 16/16 and 12/16 on the season in which they got together. but, c'mon. these are your attractive young white gays! who else are they supposed to spam thumbnails for? (/j) if i'm right, i could honestly see one of Spencer or Logan winning as a sort of redemption for Jake not winning, in the sense that they didn't wind up having a winner who fills Jake's "niche." and then i favor Spencer over Logan just because i think it would be more interesting. but it could definitely be Logan, too.

otherwise, i suspect that, if Isabel isn't, like, the first boot, she'll last a while, because why would you otherwise make a nun if you didn't have some sort of plan for her? i also expect Tristan and Natalia to last a while, because it would be a shame to waste such seemingly cool characters on an early boot. as for first boot potential... idk, Ivy's not giving me a whole lot? and it's weird that Diego doesn't have a VA (english or spanish) yet.
