welp, I was bored while out and about, and I ended up doodling @akanemnon ‘s version of Susie, Kris, and frisk, completely from memory! I hope everyone enjoys “Horrific Front Angle Susie” and “The Artist Cannot Draw Braces; A Cautionary Tale”

I absolutely love their webcomic and read through ALL of it in one sitting (it’s hosted here on tumblr!) and I highly advise everyone else to read it, too!

HOLY SHIT THIS ARTSTYLE IS SO CANON!? the rendering and linework style match the 2D rendering style in that episode so well I was instantly reminded of it the moment I saw this, it’s VERY tasty. It’s crazy how you can see the shapes of their faces in the dimensions their eyes take on.

I love how bubble almost works as a representation of the circus itself in the composition here, and how the other characters are placed! Ragatha and Jax facing away (but looking backwards) because those are the ones that hide their ‘true colors’ (The ones who we will learn the most about as the plot progresses) with Zooble and Kinger staring straight at the center, and Caine taking up the most physical space. (Yet placed more towards the front, somehow excluding him slightly from the lineup— we can tell he isn’t a ‘peer’ of the main character, who is of course front and center.)

Sorry for the big analysis block, this just. REALLY caught my eye. INCREDIBLE work, i cannot imagine any other poster for the series nue, I would proudly hang this on my wall, 10/10!

This was a movie poster concept i finished awhile back. i found it again on my reddit and wanted to share it here. it was a ton of fun to make and design. It was inspired by that 2D scene from episode 3 with Kinger and Pomni's eyes. they were just so expressive i couldn't resist.
