Reflection: A Twisted Tale by Elizabeth Lim

Fans of Mulan, this one's for you.

Immediately after I found out this book existed, I picked it up and it did not disappoint. It took me about a day to read this in its entirety, and that day was fantastic *because* of this book. It lived up to all of my expectations plus some.

If you’re in the mood for a lighthearted, quick-paced read, then this is 100% something you should pick up. The story takes place over the course of a day, and there isn’t a single part of it that isn’t packed with action. You will never get bored when you’ve got this book in your hands.

Here's my version of the beautiful and brave Fa Mulan from the 1998 Disney movie "Mulan". Mulan was always one of my favorites from the Disney renaissance period, she might not be an actual princess either by birth or marriage but she doesn't need to be one.... she's still just lovable and amazing! She saved an entire nation after all! I also wanted to depict Mushu as a bigger more traditional chinese dragon flying around Mulan to give the picture a more epic vibe However do not confuse this as being "this is the way Mushu should have been" because I 100% love him in the original movie, he's one of my favorite sidekicks!
