Disney and Vespa

Two iconic brands meet in a limited edition collaboration that celebrates a very special anniversary: Vespa presents Disney Mickey Mouse Edition by Vespa. For this collaboration, the Vespa Primavera 50cc, 125cc and 150cc are coloured black, red, white and yellow: the same hues that have characterised Walt Disney’s most famous mouse for decades. The yellow wheels are reminiscent of Mickey Mouse’s shoes, while the black mirrors recall his unmistakable round ears. A graphic pattern outlining the character’ silhouette decorates both sides of the scooter as well as the front. Finally Mickey Mouse’s signature could not be missed, featured on both the saddle and the front shell. Disney Mickey Mouse Edition by Vespa comes with a matching helmet in the same stunning colours. Spidey and His Amazing Friends Sets Season 3 coming in January

Marvel’s ‘Spidey and his Amazing Friends’ is set to return with its third season. The announcement was made at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival by Disney Television Animation, Disney Junior and Disney Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) The show follows the adventures of Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales as they team up with Hulk, Ms. Marvel and Black Panther to defeat foes like Rhino, Doc Ock and Green Goblin. The first full-length Marvel series for preschoolers, the show has been a hit among young audiences and has been renewed for a third season . The second season of the show premiered in August 2021 and included the addition of Iron Man/Tony Stark, Ant-Man, Wasp, Reptil, Black Cat, Sandman and Electro The trailer for the third season of ‘Spidey and his Amazing Friends’ has been released, and it promises to be an exciting ride for the young audience. One Animation is looking for a Director of Content Distribution to join our management team to set up and lead the TV & Digital Distribution department. Reporting to the CEO, your key objective will be to develop and execute the long-term strategy with sustainable and operational excellence.

You will be responsible for building One Animation’s global sales footprint for our portfolio of content and developing new accounts. You will service established clients and build new client relationships across linear & non-linear platforms.

Develop, implement and execute sales strategy for TV & Digital content sales for OA’s portfolio on a global scale.

Sell portfolio of content to both linear (e.g. Disney, ITV, SuperRTL) & non-linear (e.g. Netflix, Amazon, Hulu) platforms.

Maintain records of all Rights Management data for all territories, countries, etc.

Collaborate with Creative Director to green-light new IPs by finding co-production partners.

Manage YouTube channel, including the implementation of audience development strategies to grow subscribers and/or views.

Spearhead development of sales pitches by analysing quarterly revenue forecast of product opportunity maximization at all key accounts and collaborating with Licensing, Sales and PR/Marketing in driving business strategies.

Follow up with internal legal department on coordination of deal memos, contracts, amendments, legal notices and termination.

Create process to follow up with internal accounting department on credit approvals, invoices, royalty reporting, late payment notifications and audits.

Create and update presentations tailored for specific agent, licensee and prospective licensee use and information.

Ideally, you should have a Degree in Business Management / International Business / Marketing or another related discipline. While this role is based in Singapore, you will be required to travel to customer locations, event venues, conferences and trade shows.

You should also have the following Skills/Knowledge:

5 to 8 years’ experience in sales and/or content distribution; experience in broadcast television and/or digital platform sales are a plus.

A strong understanding of digital and TV platforms and a proven track record as a successful Sales professional. 

Excellent negotiating and decision making skills, including working with ambiguity, resolving complex business problems and having composure in difficult situations.

Technically proficient in software applications such as Adobe Suite, MS Office Suite, Keynote.
