📚💸 Career + Wealth Analysis 💸📚
Tumblr media
One of the most frequent questions astrologers receive from their clients when doing a chart reading is about their career, profession or work.
The labor we do on an everyday basis is essential when it comes to our finances and self fulfillment. It can either be something we enjoy doing that meets all of our needs, or what brings a paycheck yet lacks inner satisfaction.
There are several ways to confirm if the work you are doing is activating your Venus properly, and you may wonder why that planet in particular? Simple! Venus is related to finances, luxury, and comfort. The jobs that align with our Venus sign tend to be the ones that not only fits into our financial needs, but also provides a genuine feeling of contentment.
Tumblr media
So, if you want the straight forward answer to “What career/field/job/hobby can help me create wealth and feel joyful about it?” Then Venus is your short answer. Remember that wealth will look differently for everyone since we all have different perceptions of how much money is truly enough to have the lifestyle we dream of.
Look for the Sidereal sign that your Venus falls in, find below the careers or fields related to it, and confirm for yourself the difference in your wealth accumulation once you incorporate it into your life.
Note: please keep in mind that if your Venus is conj, square or opposite a malefic planet/s (Mars, Saturn, Rahu/Ketu), there will be some natural resistance or challenges that you will experience throughout life with work, job, profession, or financial matters. Venus in Virgo, Scorpio, and Capricorn to a degree could also experience similar experiences.
The house where this planet is placed also tells a lot about the way your job manifests in your life (places, people, etc). Now, there are many ways to remediate any negative effects, so no need to be concerned or feel doomed.
There are many advanced Vedic Astrologers who mostly focus on remediation of planets that are in difficult or challenged positions, so take a look at the options available if you ever feel like there's an extra difficulty for you in those matters.

What job or profession do you think they (heartstopper) would have (besides Charlie's canon and nick)?
OMG GREAT QUESTION!!! i love thinking about this.
elle definitely teaches elementary schoolers art alongside selling her own pieces. the kids would think her style is so cool, and her charm is unmatched so it'd be easy for her to encourage them to get enthusiastic about her class and turn in work on time.
i see imogen having a job in the medical field. i feel like she'd be interested in how the body works and would want to know what to do in health emergencies, so i think she'd be a nurse or even a pharmacist.
okay this would probably be a side job but tao one hundred percent will be some sort of radio disc jockey host person at a point in his life. even if it’s just a local radio or a college one. i think he’d have a blast doing it and would like taking the calls a lot. other than that, i think he’d be good in the architectural/carpentry field and like designing the layout of buildings or crafting their interiors.
i could see tara being a hairstylist for people on movie sets. i think it'd be a cool creative outlet for her and she’d love contributing to the film scene by putting more feel into the specific moment or time period of each film. if she wasn't doing hair, i think she'd still be involved in maybe even costuming, to emphasize the qualities of the characters.
sahar is obviously going to be in a band. there’s no doubt about it.
if issac doesn't end up writing his own books, he'd be a fantastic book critic or even english lit & lang teacher for college students. he must have some really intricate takeaways from books because he reads as much as he does, and by connecting the dots between books and literature as a whole he'd be super good at finding nitpicky ways of explaining them.
i really think darcy would work with animals in some way. maybe at a zoo or aquarium. she seems like the type to take a lot of interest in animals’ behaviors and whatnot. being involved with organizations like that would give her the opportunity to take care of them and record data about their species!
thanks for such a cute ask! hope you like these as much as i liked making them ♡

Led Zeppelin's press conference at Bayshore Inn, Vancouver. March 21, 1970.
Tumblr media
The news conference to kick off Led Zeppelin's North American tour started like any other—the hors d'oeuvres were tasty, the coffee lukewarm and singer Robert Plant, lead guitarist Jimmy Page, drummer John Bonham and bass guitarist, John Paul Jones were 20 minutes late.
But from the moment they arrived and CBC Vancouver television crews spotted assorted reporters and disc jockeys on the floor for atmosphere, it was something else.
For openers, an attractive girl with a wealth of background information of the English rock group mistook Plant for Page. Plant let her finish her question about their filming session at Albert Hall in London, then said:
"It's no good addressing me as Jimmy. I'm Robert." Standing up. he yelled, "Give the lady a hand" while his embarrassed questioner blushed as Plant blew kisses and winked at her.
It wasn't that they needed media exposure. Their second album, Led Zeppelin II, was outselling the Rolling Stones and the Beatles and their month-long tour would gross about $650,000.
Tumblr media
The Zeppelin is an electric, electrifying group built around Plant—who screams in three octaves—and charged by the excitement it generates for the audience.
Plant says he's a product of English blues of the 1960's, but "I don't profess to be a blues singer. Blues isn't white or black or yellow. It's a single person's interpretation of emotion. He could be singing about his '68 Cadillac ... it could be a lot of mumbo-jumbo. If we have an influence — classical or otherwise — it's not an intentional one. The music we give through an audience ... it's something that comes from the subconscious. With the pace we work at. we don't have time to play favorite pieces."
While Bonham and Jones tried not to look bored. Page and Plant fielded questions for an hour of the use of acoustic guitar on stage, the filming of a concert in Albert Hall for a possible television documentary and the difference between fan reaction in North America and Europe.
"It's really a matter of the size of the venues" said Page. "Albert Hall, the biggest in England, has a 5,000 capacity. Here we've drawn what... 19,000".
Tumblr media
"A good audience anywhere will sit down, critically listen and get loose." said Plant. "They don't worry about: 'Oh. Fred next to me isn't raving.... On our last tour, one guy was on a different plane. He insisted on taking off his clothes and dancing with me and he kept diving into John's gong. That's all right as long as he's not hurting himself or anyone else."
— From "The Led Zeppelin lands in Vancouver" by Michael Bennett

A-T-4 072 Yannick Chevalier Ecoute le son du soleil (Instrumental)
Another proto-house anomaly, this time from France. Yannick Chevalier is a library musician, he makes albums of jingles and special effects (to be fair what I've heard of them is pretty ace). I'd like to know more about him but sadly I don't read French
Deviant Disco are French though and they write,
"Yannick Chevalier, the founder of the first school for DJs and the author of Profession Disc Jockey, is also a sound designer, a director of TV and radio ads, an author of library music, and a sound engineer. He is the head of Point 12, studios specialized in post-production for the cinema, the TV and the radio. By now, Yannick Chevalier has produced 48 jingle albums and 30 sound effect or sound design records, all available on  www.jingles.fr."
If you understand French there's an interview here about the record diggers dreams he's been producing since 1979 https://youtu.be/UJOJKd95i9A?si=UH0cDwpF0_xC_CJa
The track I'm sharing is from 1984 (obviously) and the vocal and dub versions are quite different from the instrumental, almost a euro-novelty record "[the vocals were] created with one of the very first harmonisers (Publison’s DHM 89). This effect, called “childlike” by Chevalier himself, is a virtual voice, like that of a character or a puppet answering a ventriloquist, which he used as cues in his club and radio shows."
The instrumental is stripped down and serious

Top Media Engineer jobs in India - Arya College
Media is another word for TV journalism. And while that’s what some people mean when they use the term, there is a bit more to it. Media refers to anything that passes along information. The field of Media and Entertainment offers an exciting career with incredible opportunities. There are multiple career options for the students of best engineering colleges in Jaipur in the field such as anchoring, advertising, audio engineering, broadcasting engineering, radio jockeying, disc jockeying, video editing, print, graphics and website designing, event planning etc. A career in some of these areas might even constantly keep you on your toes. Depending upon your career choice and interests you can choose a profession of your choice from the wide range of professions available in the field.
Career In Media
Television is a medium, as is radio, a newspaper, a movie, and the internet. If you have a job in media, you work in a field that revolves around managing mediums that pass along relevant information to those who want it. Media jobs include local news anchors, Hollywood film directors, and everything in between. What they have in common is that they communicate information to the public. There are many different options out there if you are interested in a career in media. You can use this information on media job titles to explore the variety of professions that the media sector has to offer.
Types Of Media Jobs
There is such a wide variety of media jobs that someone can be an expert of top engineering colleges in Jaipur in one field and not even know another exists. Media professionals typically remain in one medium. For example, you might begin as a movie actor or a camera operator and eventually become a film director.
However, it is possible to move between media in similar positions; and many media experts have done this well. For example, a newspaper columnist might switch to writing a book, and then write and host a television program. An expert in a traditional field (such as radio) might transition into digital media (such as podcasts and webinars). Even traditional media jobs like reporter, writer, or editor are likely to involve a digital media component these days.
1. Writing and Editing
Writing is a broad category in media, stretching from journalism (see below) to content marketing and filmmaking. Each of those writers typically has an editor whose job it is to ensure that the written piece meets the standards set by the publication or program leadership.
Editors within the writing profession are language and proofreading experts. They have the leadership skills to manage a writing staff as well as maintain awareness of what the readers want. There is also another type of editor from top BTech colleges Jaipur whose responsibility is not for the individual document but for the publication as a whole. These include managing editors, acquisition editors, and features editors.
2. Journalism
Journalism refers to any form of investigative reporting in any medium, whether print, online, television, or radio. While most often associated with the news, documentary filmmaking is another powerful form of journalism. Journalists perform in-depth research (even embedding in order to glean knowledge through experience) on current issues and events to share their findings with their audience. Positions in journalism include news anchors, sports announcers, news correspondents, newspaper columnists, investigative reporters, editors, documentary filmmakers, and science writers.
3. Producing and the Production Team
Producers are responsible for the overall performance associated with a show or film. Producers manage radio stories, podcasts, TV episodes, or movies. In a large production, like a movie, the producer may be coordinating the activities of hundreds and thousands of people. The producer of a five-minute radio spot might be the writer, announcer/actor, and editor all in one.
4. Advertising and Marketing
Advertising and marketing jobs can be very lucrative. If you work as an advertising salesperson or account manager, you are most likely responsible for selling ad space. Advertisements often form a significant source of income for a particular medium. Income-generating ads are commercials, space in a magazine or website, and billboards.
Account managers of private engineering colleges confirm reserved ad space, handle the copy (ad artwork and message), and ensure that a client's ads run when and where they should. Ad sales and account manager roles often work on commission, and ambitious media ad specialists can earn a high income. Although advertising may not have the cultural cachet of journalism, or the glamour of entertainment, the revenue that advertising brings in keeps the media outlet financially sustainable.
5. E-Commerce and Communications Technologies
IT specialists, technicians, and web designers are essential for constructing sophisticated, web-based media and e-commerce technologies. Working behind the scenes, they make sure that internet web service projects launch on time, then monitor the project for any bugs or maintenance issues. Some major roles include Electronic Data Interchange Specialist, Electronic Marketing Manager, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer, Graphic/Web Designer, , Interface Designer, Intranet Applications Manager, etc.

Replacing Humans “Is the Furthest Thing From Our Mindset,” Says the Company Selling an A.I. Radio Host
The humble broadcast-radio host, whether a disc jockey or interviewer or reporter, has been going through it for decades now. The 1996 Telecommunications Act fueled the consolidation of local stations, decimating their staffs. The explosion of online radio, music and video streaming, and podcasting have upended ratings for shows on public airwaves. Phones and computers and smart speakers increasingly supplant radio sets. Funding for public radio is notoriously unreliable. It isn’t the best time for your modern-day Wolfman Jacks, or for any media profession.
On top of all that, your local DJ was already on the losing end of the artificial-intelligence revolution. Before the A.I. hype from last year, and even before the COVID recession demolished media ad markets, broadcast networks were gutting on-air talent at the both the national and collegiate level to trim budgets and automate programming: syndicating well-known shows and brands, prerecording and prearranging late-night broadcasts, training a roboticized voice to fill in the space when needed. Coupled with major streaming services’ dependence on algorithms and automation to curate playlists and make user recommendations—often with bizarre side effects—these developments make clear that the music industry anticipates the need for fewer humans down the line.
A.I. hasn’t yet finished killing the radio star, nor is it truly likely to anytime soon. But there’s a new digital buddy out there that might give hosts additional pause: RadioGPT, a new tool from the Ohio-based software company Futuri Media that fully digitizes the broadcast host as you know it. According to Futuri, which has worked with large corporations like iHeartMedia and Tribune Publishing, its “new and revolutionary product” combines a few tools: TopicPulse, a Futuri app that provides an automated way to scan media sources and pull out relevant topics for coverage; GPT-3, the large language model that powers the hit chatbot ChatGPT; and A.I.-voice “personalities” made by Futuri that can learn the info scraped by TopicPulse and aggregated by GPT-3 to read readymade copy live on air. Oh, and it’s trained to know all available facts about the music played by your station, so it can even intro upcoming tracks and provide trivia as needed. The RadioGPT beta is currently being tested by large radio owners in the United States and Canada, and to gauge from preliminary reviews, it seems pretty good. Accomplished enough, at the very least, to reawaken worst-case fears regarding the future of human radio jobs, no matter what you actually make of RadioGPT’s humanoid talent.
I recently spoke with two Futuri Media executives—CEO and co-founder Daniel Anstandig, and CFO Marty Shagrin—to discuss the reasons for creating RadioGPT, the potential use cases for the tech, and how to square radio-industry automation with the Futuri team’s “passion for entertainment and pop culture,” as Anstandig characterized it. Our conversation has been edited and condensed for clarity.
Nitish Pahwa: When did you come up with the idea for RadioGPT?
Daniel Anstandig: The idea for RadioGPT started before GPT was a mainstream concept. About three years ago, we started working on an A.I. voice project to help augment on-air personalities and bring voices to air shifts for radio and TV programming that are typically unmanned—when there aren’t people in the studio and there’s no live and local content available. Along the way, there’ve been limitations around the realness versus the synthetic quality of the voices, and there’ve been challenges we’ve faced around making the on-air hosts more humanistic.
Over the last 10 years, we’ve developed automation systems that directly interface with radio and TV stations and the automation systems that run what’s happening on the air. We had TopicPulse, which scans information from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and over 250,000 news sources so we can see what’s trending in a local market as big as New York or as small as Medicine Hat, Alberta. We’ve also been able to integrate GPT-3, which has made our scripts more conversational. That was a big breakthrough. At the same time, we had a breakthrough around our A.I. voices becoming more humanlike and more, I would say, interesting to listen to over long-form programming.
Marty Shagrin: We’ve built our company around helping broadcasters focus on local content that is engaging, that brings people of a community together. A.I. has been in development for a long time, so itself, it’s not magical. It’s about the way that it’s used to deliver against the promise of broadcast content, whose 90 percent national reach has been built on local and live content.
Something you mentioned, Daniel, is that there’s so much radio at this point that’s been automated, especially late-night programming. So from your view, RadioGPT is a way to bring back personality to those humanless shifts?
Anstandig: I do think there’s an advantage to being more current, and we have technology that helps personalities or talent to be timely. As an example, inside TopicPulse, we use A.I. to predict what’s going to go viral in a local market. So if a station is voice-tracking—that’s the industry term for what you’re describing—or prerecording their content with a personality, they could conceivably look ahead in that market to see what’s currently trending with their audience and what’s predicted to go viral, or determine what will be interesting at that time.
One of the advantages of RadioGPT is that it knows about an artist or a song or about a current event, so it can speak to a broad range of topics concisely and in an entertaining way. When we set up RadioGPT voices, this is not text-to-speech. This is setting up character and personality in A.I., with a perspective, with character traits, with a viewpoint that is presenting a certain view or idea to the audience. That’s a tremendous upgrade from listening to prerecorded content.
It’s interesting to hear that angle, because I think when it comes to DJs or radio workers who’ve seen the industry contract—especially in terms of headcount—some might be inclined to say: “It’s A.I. that’s pushing us out of our jobs to begin with. And now there’s this new A.I. gizmo to fill in for people who’ve been displaced.” I’m curious if you’ve heard from local DJs about what they make of an advanced tool like this.
Anstandig: We have heard from a lot of air personalities as well as station owners and managers. We’ve heard from virtually every major streaming service, as well. In general, everyone is leaning in to the opportunity to dream up innovative, creative ways to augment talent, or to help talent do what they do best and create more companionship on the air. As an example, if you have a show that is carried in multiple markets, imagine that show is able to use the same station host or that same host’s voice to narrate local weather, news, traffic, or to talk about an event that’s happening, even though the show is on a national platform. That’s tremendous. Imagine that you could take a show that’s presented in English but then, in near real time, translate it into Spanish and have that read by an A.I. voice. You could also look at situations where hosts want to add RadioGPT or A.I. as a co-host and interact with it.
We have heard from personalities that are concerned that somehow there’s a mission here to replace them. But that is the furthest thing from our mindset. Local is the key to attracting audiences, and you can bet every streaming service is going to innovate in this way. We’re talking to every major service about ways to use our system. Why shouldn’t radio do the same thing? Radio shouldn’t have unmanned air shifts without live and local content.
A.I. systems—whether for voice imitation or LLMs or aggregation—run on big datasets, and there are all sorts of energy and computing costs. What’s the financial burden of making a product like this and distributing it?
Anstandig: The cost of doing this well is tremendous because you are stacking on different technologies, some that are proprietary and patented by Futuri and created over many years, along with services like GPT-3. So there is an innovation cost upfront. We think, in the long run, that for companies to do this well, there will be continued investment, but obviously technology cost scales over time.
Shagrin: We think about the financial impact all the time. But that was probably seventh or eighth on the priority list. First and foremost for us is, will the audience like this? Is this going to be an engaging solution for our partners to deliver great content to their audience? If this can help them do that, then it’s something that we owe it to them to explore.
I’ve spoken with musicians over the years who are miffed at the algorithmification of playlists, which fuels this situation where a lot of the same big artists get picked by the same big playlists over and over again. And if you’re not on there, or unless your label’s doing payola, you’re not going to gain that distribution. With more systems like this in the radiosphere—which is still important to artists—what you would say to concerns about automated systems highlighting the same artists time and again?
Anstandig: There’s this sense that technology tends to amplify what it thinks is already popular. However, that all comes down to the complexity of the algorithm and the way the algo is built to serve a certain listener. I personally have been involved in it, not only at Futuri but in the music industry; I’ve published and written hundreds of songs. So I’m always concerned about how the algos are prioritizing or exposing different songs and artists to new audiences. What I can tell you is that I believe today there’s more opportunity for independent artists and non-label acts to find an audience than ever before. I think there used to be a paradigm that familiarity was the most important thing when it came to prioritizing what shows up in a playlist or in an algo. Now, there’s more nuance around what the audience really wants: Are there certain types of music and entertainment that are more appealing when they’re new or more novel?
Shagrin: Remember, the way RadioGPT works is that it’s hooked up to and synced with a radio station’s automation system. We can offer ideas, but they’re still dictating what is played when, and what that looks like. Local markets know more about their audience, and so they still dictate that, and they can still drive that.
Local news has been decimated in all markets, whether newspapers or radio shows or TV. There are all these attempts to try to revitalize it, including yours, it sounds like, where you scan social networks and news outlets for reports you can broadcast over the radio. But there can be a lot of misinformation or misleading news that spreads quickly, and that in turn can be picked up; I’m thinking about, say, the false reports that often surround a mass shooting. I’d love to hear what sorts of guardrails you have in mind to stanch that effect.
Anstandig: It’s always best to have a human in the studio when there’s a crisis. We’ve seen that in recent years with active shooter situations, local weather disasters. That being said, there are ways to surface information faster: looking at location-based data and combining that with niche publications, blogs, or traditional news outlets for verification. In the case of TopicPulse, even though we have over a decade of experience in social media monitoring and predictions and A.I.-powered discovery of stories, we still have a small human moderation team that observes what’s trending in the system, that looks into trends as they’re emerging in markets. Because we do recognize there’s a certain amount of assurance or accountability that comes with being on this side of media.
Shagrin: The active shooter situation is near to me. I have a daughter who goes to Michigan State, where I know you went to school. So I was living that shooting situation in real time through my phone, as she was texting me and seeing how the news was covering it.
One of the things we focus on is that what’s relevant in a local market and to an audience is not always breaking. Breaking news is a bit of a different business than we are in. We are trying to identify those stories that are trending, relevant, most engaging to an audience. By doing that, we reduce the risk of reporting something that was first put out there and was incorrect. I know there were lots of incorrect stories being reported as that was going on at Michigan State.
I did have MSU on the mind when asking that—I’m really glad your daughter’s OK.
Changing the subject: Since the late ’90s, a lot of local radio stations have been consolidated or shuttered. How can A.I. revitalize local news and targeted music curation even when the corporate structures of radio markets may not be best suited for local regions?
Anstandig: First, I’ll just say that A.I. is not inherently biased or dishonest. It’s trained by humans. So when we think about RadioGPT and TopicPulse and our technology, we are training it with a media mindset. We’re ensuring that it’s trained on diverse, high-quality data sources, that the information generated can ultimately stand up to the trade winds of media, and that we don’t expect that we’re the last stop when we deliver content or information to a newsroom or to a broadcaster. That we know there are humans to verify and fact-check and think about regulation and ethical guidelines.
I think A.I. is part of the future recipe for media growth. It is certainly a way that costs can be reduced in certain parts of the industry, but it’s also an incredible growth mechanism. Information can be personalized and localized at a level that very few newsrooms have the capacity for right now. As an example, if you’re covering the Los Angeles DMA, you have such a wide range of cultures and pockets of community to cover—from Orange County to West Hollywood to Long Beach to Downtown L.A. There are all very different groups of people with differing lifestyles, and news that matters in one area doesn’t necessarily matter in another. There are ways, using stream-stitching technology and other tools, to personalize and localize news in a way that matches the interests and the needs of a hyperlocal audience. There’s data analysis that can go into the formation of that content, prioritizing which types of topics or stories should be covered by different types of people on the team. There’s a lot of efficiency built in that elevates humans working in news to do what they do best, knowing that discovery and being able to surface content and information and emerging trends is more efficient for them.
When it comes to investigative reporting, I believe that that’s boots on the ground. Humans are still going to accomplish investigative reporting better than A.I., but A.I. is a heck of an assistant.
To take it back to music, when you look back at the history of radio, there’s often some quirky DJ personality taking out obscure records for listeners. With all these A.I. systems where you can personalize things—text and images and even music—is human curation dead?
Anstandig: No. I know there’s still a tremendous passion in broadcast radio to elevate new and local artists. There’s more of that in some markets than in others because the risk tolerance of placing emerging artists that are unfamiliar or unknown is just different in different-size markets.
But I think—between social media influencers who specialize in music, bloggers, YouTubers, Instagrammers—there are more creative pathways for a new artist or track to find the right platform and audience. I think that’s only going to continue to grow.
In that vein, do you think radio stations should look into hiring A.I.-attuned people, like prompt engineers or coders or basic fact-checkers/editors?
Anstandig: I believe that radio and TV, and media in general, should do what they do best and bring the human element and local influence to what, partnering with technologists who can provide the platforms and systems that help them to elevate their creativity, intuition, expertise. We’re not attempting to replace the human element that makes the sales process or the creative marketing process special, unique, effective. We’re simply providing data-driven insights to help an account or marketing executive be more effective about creating powerful campaigns.
I think that’s a perfect example of partnering the unique spark of a human with a unique spark of A.I. And I think there will be more of a combination. I don’t think broadcast radio companies necessarily need to suddenly turn into computer or data science hives and start building the next megamachine
Shagrin: There’s nothing magical about A.I. in itself. It’s only magical if it delivers something that the people want. Media companies—most businesses, frankly—should find a way to put the technology to use as a utility to deliver the results that they want. It doesn’t mean you have to be an expert in the guts of A.I.
In your respective views, what do you think is the best use case for RadioGPT, and what is the worst?
Anstandig: I think the best case is creating more entertaining, informative, live and local content for every radio station in the world, and attracting and retaining and entertaining audiences. The worst is completely replacing humans who mean so much to their communities and to their advertisers. But I think there’s so much more upside here than there is downside for everyone, especially the audience.
Shagrin: You know, I’m the CFO. Cutting costs is not where this is the best use case. This is about delivering great content.
Anstandig: I look forward to the day that A.I. and human shows are in real, direct competition with each other. I think it’ll raise the bar for broadcasters and air talent. It’ll be entertaining, and the listeners will win.

How to turn into a DJ?
The qualification measure is very direct and easy. You really want to know music, have an energy for it, and comprehend the specialized viewpoints and complexities of rhythms. While an advanced education might be a base necessity at certain spots, for the most part it's your experience of music that matters. Since a DJ is more a music craftsman, it's his own characteristics that matter more than whatever else. Disc jockeys who have picked this calling are dependent on their in-conceived ability and style of music. A large portion of them are from a foundation where they have gained a preference for this calling during their early days of schooling. Then, at that point, there are some who have gotten acquainted with everything basically by functioning as understudies in radio stations.
There are both types of courses available to turn into an expert DJ. Either you can go for a music degree course or a specialized Disc jockey degree. Both of them will endow you with necessary knowledge. Most importantly, you should choose a college where you will get practical experience too. Some students ignore this factor which can be disastrous for their career.
Tumblr media
By taking a music creation program, you offer yourself the chance to work closely with similar individuals. You will work together with your colleagues on projects all through your schooling, so you will actually want to gain from them and expand your perspectives through those undertakings. Make sure you involve yourself to the fullest to get all the knowledge and skills. Numerous music creation programs are more limited than the average 4-year degree; you can even decide on those if you want. This is a benefit for you since you will actually want to be out in the labor force sooner, permitting you to get a head start on your profession. To know more about DJ Course please visit AAFT Noida.

D&F: Sorry for lack of content! Been working on my work on Ao3 called Loose Ends! We'll try and keep producing stuff on here though!
DJ hasn’t been in the pizzaplex as long as everyone else. He’s only been around for like…two years. Technically three, but that year was considered his “practice run” to see how well the music man would work within the establishment. Either way, DJ made a lot of friends, and he always gave out stellar performances during opening hours. Yet…he always feels like he’s being ignored. Like he was some kind of background character…
Being stuck in one place, never being allowed to leave the attraction, all due to the fear that everyone has with his giant size. It had the potential to cause some serious collateral damage around the pizzaplex. It’s…kinda lonely. Kinda, since he at least gets visitation from his friends.
Well…mostly Freddy.
Chica only seemed to visit just to gossip when everyone is too busy to hang out with her. That, or she needed a place to hide so she could stealthily eat the treats she had stolen. Roxy's visits are even more uncommon since she only bothers to stop by to have someone listen to her talk about herself…when literally no one else has the energy to put up with it. Monty's visits only occurred when he wasn't in the mood to nap for the remainder of the day and felt a bit more competitive enough to skip his golfing time. He would give DJ a quick greeting before casually walking over to one of the arcade machines to play and might stick around to gloat about his new high score.
Whenever Freddy came over, it felt like all even the worst days for the music man became his special ones. The glamrock leader always made sure that DJ was up to date with most of the things that happened outside of Fazcade, no matter how mundane the information was. He would happily talk about the achievements of everyone else, including the children that visit the megaplex. There had even been moments when bear animatronic spoke about space…only to quickly apologize and change the subject.
Their conversations remain pretty basic, mostly because of the language barrier between them. DJ spoke in instrumental music with a techno twist to it. Which, considering what his profession is within the Pizzaplex, it makes sense. The sounds that the giant animatronic can create lend well to the vibes within his music, and it made him seem cool. The problem with this form of language presented itself when he tried to communicate with others. It left a lot of them confused, some irritated, others lost, but rarely did the disc jockey find those with the patience to talk with him regardless.
It's what makes Freddy so special to DJ. Not just because of the lead singer's patience, he actually found the robotic spider's dialect fascinating. From time-to-time, the glamrock bear would ask questions about it to learn as much as he can. Which wasn't much since they had to be restricted to yes or no questions. Still, the sentiment touched DJ deeply…just enough to blossom into what the humans would call a crush.
He didn't know how to handle it, at first. He tried not to think about it, until thoughts about Freddy were all that his mind would produce. He tried not to stare at the animatronic bear during his visits, only it caused the robotic bear's appearance to grow more radiant from even the smallest glance. DJ even tried ignoring those feelings, but they became more and more obvious each passing day. That's why today, of all days, will be the day the spider animatronic confesses. Sure, Freddy will never understand it, it will simply go over the smaller animatronic's head when he hears it. Yet, the music man didn't care, he wanted to let it out.
“Freddy?” The glamrock looks up at him. Nervousness begins to fester within DJ, but he swallows it down. “I know you won't understand this…but I…” He takes a deep breath, “I always feel comfortable around you, like all of my worries just disappear when you arrive.” A small smile forms on his face as he continues, “It's like I can sing to the stars, the planets, and the sun when I'm with you.” The more the disc jockey speaks, the more confident he feels behind his words. “Your voice is like a symphony that has graced this world's ears. It can be as wild as rock and roll, yet it can be as gentle as a lullaby. Your smile can brighten up a solar system while your caring core can turn even the harshest of planets into a loving home.” He feels a light flush on his cheeks. “What I'm trying to say is…” DJ looks down at the smaller animatronic, “I love you.”
Freddy doesn't say anything, though that's not what was so odd. It was the glamrock leader's facial expression that confused the animatronic giant. His eyes had widened considerably, almost as if the lead singer was in shock. “Freddy?” DJ questioned. Freddy finally opens his muzzle and asks, “Did you…did you just say that you love me?” The robotic spider froze, his mind replayed the question multiple times to make sure he didn't misinterpret it. “You…you understood that?” He uttered.
The glamrock bear stood up, “A-a little!” …Oh dear stars, Freddy understands him, which means the robotic bear understood the confession. WHICH MEANS THAT FREDDY HEARD DJ CONFESSED HIS CRUSH TO HIM!! The disc jockey's face became static the longer the pause continued between them. Neither of them know what to say, or do, in this sudden change of events. It's not like they can pretend it didn't happen, or anything of the sort. So, the music man decided to take another option: he crawls back inside his tunnels. The move surprised the smaller animatronic. “DJ?!” He calls out to the disc jockey who went deeper inside the tunnels.
Nope, DJ is not coming out. He ruined things with Freddy, and he can clearly see that the glamrock doesn't feel the same way. Devastation starts to take over, the music man curls up as reality begins to set in.
He ruined everything.
Then the silence breaks as small, separate notes enter DJ’s audios. He lifts his head. Listening carefully, the spider animatronic realizes that the notes are…actually saying something. “I. Love. You.” His eyes widened. The notes repeat themselves, as though they are trying to form a song without losing their meaning. More importantly to the disc jockey, it dawns on him just who it is that was creating the notes. As he slowly crawls back to the entrance, he finds Freddy standing there…singing.
“I. Love. You.” These were not words, but actual musical tones. Beautiful as it is, to hear the glamrock utter them is strange. It’s almost like…the animatronic giant’s eyes grew.
Freddy is speaking in DJ’s native tongue.
“I. Love. You.” The lead singer places his hand against his chest, “Like Stars. In. My Heart.” While it is clear from listening that Freddy is still amateurish in speaking it, the fact that the robotic bear managed to speak this much of the language at all astounds DJ. “I. Love. You. Like. Music. You sing. To me.” A smile graces the bear animatronic’s muzzle. The robotic spider’s whole face turns red. He’s speechless, absolutely speechless. Freddy takes one of the larger animatronic’s fingers into his hands as a blush appears on his cheeks, “I. Love. You~. D. J.” DJ beams a grin so wide as his very battery core feels like it could explode with utter joy.
Freddy loves him back!
Freddy actually loves him back!
He pulls the glamrock leader close, gently nuzzling the smaller animatronic. “I love you, too.” He said. Freddy returns the loving gesture, hugging the disc jockey’s face.

31 Hollywood Icons Who Served in the U.S. Military
On this Memorial Day, millions of Americans across the country are honoring our military heroes, observing, and reflected on those who made the ultimate sacrifice. This list highlights some of the actors, directors, singers, producers, and entertainers who’ve served in the U.S. military.
From Hollywood’s earliest days, artists have served in the U.S. armed forces. Some had broader experiences than others in service to the country And many Hollywood greats served in World War II.
Jimmy Stewart
James Stewart not only joined the US Air Force in 1941, he ended his service in 1968 as a Brigadier General in the USAF Reserves. Stewart’s service was not for show, either. He flew many bombing missions over Germany and Nazi-occupied Europe.
Kirk Douglas
The famed movie tough guy joined the US Navy in 1941 and served as a communications officer in anti-submarine warfare. He received a medical discharge thanks to war injuries in 1944.
Clark Gable
Though he was already a veritable old man in soldier years, Gable joined the U.S. Army Air Corp at 43 and few five combat missions as an observer-gunner. Gable joined after his wife, Carol Lombard, died in a plane crash while flying home after a tour to promote war bonds.
Audie Murphy
Maj. Audie Murphy went into the Army as a private and won many battle field promotions. He is one of the most widely decorated actors in Hollywood history. He is the only actor/celebrity to be awarded the Congressional Medal Of Honor. In addition, he was awarded a Distinguished Service Cross, two Silver Stars, a Legion of Merit with Combat V, and two Bronze Stars with Combat V. He also received several foreign awards were especially impressive. He received the French Forrager, Legion of Honor, and Croix de Guerre with Palm and Silver Star, and the Belgian Croix de Guerre 1940 with Palm.
Other stars of the era who served include Jason Robards (Navy 1941), Paul Newman (Navy, 1943), and Mel Brooks (Army, 1944). Then there was singer and dancer Josephine Baker who was a secret collaborator with the French Resistance to the Nazi invaders and was even awarded the Croix de Guerre as a spy for her work to defeat the Nazis. Several others served in the forces of their native nations including David Niven (Royal Army), Sir Alec Guinness (Royal Navy), and Audrey Hepburn (Dutch Resistance), and Star TrekActor James Doohan (Royal Canadian Army). Doohan was part of the D-Day invasion forces, was wounded six times losing a finger in the process, and later joined the Canadian Air Force as a pilot.
Ronald Reagan
Our 40th president, Ronald Reagan, was already a star when he joined the war effort. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II, enlisting in the Army Enlisted Reserve on 29 April 1937 and ordered to active duty on April 19, 1942. Because of his eyesight, he was not assigned to an air crew and instead helped make over 400 training films for the Army Air Force.
Sidney Poitier
Sidney Poitier, the first black American to win an Academy Award, enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II in November of 1943. He served as a physiotherapist for almost a year, even though he lied about his age, as he was only 16 when he joined.
B.B. King
B.B. King, one of the greatest blues guitarists, was inducted into the U.S. Army in 1944, but was quickly released back into civilian life following boot camp because the government deemed his original profession — a tractor-trailer driver — to be vital to the war economy.
Hugh Hefner
Later to be known as the swinger editor of Playboy Magazine, Hugh Hefner joined the U.S. Army in 1944 after graduating high school. Hef didn’t see any acton, though, and was discharged in 1946 after serving as an Amy newspaperman and infantry clerk.
Tony Bennett
Tony Bennett, the legendary “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” crooner, was drafted during World War II in 1944 and assigned to the 63rd Infantry Division, or “Blood and Fire” division, fighting in France and Germany. Being a “replacement” was not an easy job as the war was winding down in Europe. About half these soldiers died in the months after basic training in 1944 and the end of the war in Europe in Sept. of 1945.
After the big war, many others continued the tradition, of course.
Gene Hackman
The actor, who won an Academy Award for Best Actor in The French Connection, enlisted in the Marine Corps the year after World War Two ended in1946. He lied about his age to get accepted, as he was only 16 when he enlisted.
Willie Nelson
The Always On My Mind singer volunteered for the U.S. Army in 1950. However, he only served nine months and was given a medical discharge due to severe back problems.
Johnny Cash
Johnny “The Man In Black” Cash enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1950. After basic training at Lackland Air Force Base and technical training at Brooks Air Force Base, both in San Antonio, Texas, he was assigned to the 12th Radio Squadron Mobile of the U.S. Air Force Security Service at Landsberg, West Germany. He mustered out in 1954.
Clint Eastwood
Clint Eastwood was drafted in 1951 for service during the Korean War. Eastwood saw no action, though, and spent his service at Ft. Ord in California, where he was appointed as a lifeguard and projectionist of training films.
David Janssen
Perhaps best known as the man on the lam in the 60s TV series, The Fugitive, Janssen didn’t escape the U.S. Army having served from 1952 to 1954 at Fort Ord, California. He saw no action during the Korean War as he served in the entertainment division during his two-year stint.
Martin Milner
Like his army pals Clint Eastwood and David Janssen, Adam 12 star Martin Milner served a two-year stint in the Army and was based at Fort Ord, California. Also like his buddies Eastwood and Janssen, there he worked in the entertainment sector. He mustered out in 1954 and went right into TV and film work in Hollywood.
Robert Duvall
Robert Duvall enlisted in the U.S. Army after graduating from Principia College in 1953. Duvall has disputed early biographies that claimed he fought during the Korean War, though. He has joked that he “barely qualified” with his M-1 rifle in basic training. He served two years, and never got past the rank of private first class.
Leonard Nimoy
Later to become famous as Star Trek’s half human, half alien Mr Spock, Leonard Nimoy enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve at Fort McPherson, Georgia. He served for 18 months between 1953 and 1955. Nimoy also worked in the Army’s Special Services narrating plays and performing in training films.
James Earl Jones
The voice of Star Wars villain Darth Vader, a man who has been referred to as “one of the greatest actors in American history,” served in the Army during the Korean War, rising to the rank of first lieutenant. Jones missed the war, though, as he started his service in 1953 just as the war was coming to a close.
Alan Alda
Best known for playing an Army surgeon in the TV series M.A.S.H., Alda did serve in the actual military when he volunteered after finishing his studies at Fordham University. He served as a gunnery officer during a six-month tour of duty in the Korean War.
Morgan Freeman
Morgan Freeman turned down a scholarship for acting and instead joined the Air Force in which he served from 1955 to 1959. He served as a radar technician and mustered out as an Airman 1st Class. Freeman has said that he enjoyed his service experience until, that is, he was being scouted to be trained as a jet pilot. He said the reality that war means killing dawned on him at that time and he began to look for the exit door to get back to life as an actor.
Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley’s drafting in 1957 was huge news and the media followed him throughout his years of service. Elvis honorably served his term and mustered out as a sergeant in 1960.
Chuck Norris
Famed martial artist Chuck Norris joined the U.S. Air Force in 1958 and served his full term, being discharged in 1962. He was ultimately assigned to Osan Air Base in South Korea where he began to develop his signature martial arts style, Chun Kuk Do.
Jimi Hendrix
Jimi Hendrix had a bit less gratifying service having been forced into the Army or face jail time for car theft in 1961. He served only one year before being discharged for an ankle injury. Some researchers suggest that the injury was just the Army’s excuse to be rid of the troublesome rocker.
John Fogerty
Singer-songwriter John Fogerty joined up in 1966 when his draft number neared. He signed up for the United States Army Reserve as a supply clerk. However, he was switched to active duty for six months, anyway, but saw no service under fire. He was discharged honorably in 1968.
Tom Selleck
Tom Selleck was already an actor when he was drafted during the Vietnam War in 1967. He served six years in the the 160th infantry regiment of the California National Guard.
Oliver Stone
The famed director of Platoon served during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1968 and was wounded twice. He earned the The Bronze Star with V’device and a Purple Heart with one Oak Leaf Cluster.
Pat Sajak
Pat Sajak volunteered for the U.S. Army in 1968. While he saw no battlefield action in Vietnam, Sajak did serve as an Army Radio disc jockey and ended up in country, anyway, when he was assigned to host a radio program on Armed Force Radio broadcasting in Saigon.
R. Lee Ernmey
Everyone knows R. Lee Ermey as the intense drill sergeant in Full Metal Jacket, but some may not know that he served in the Marines for a decade, was a real Drill Instructor, and saw service in Vietnam in 1968. He started out as a Repair Shop Mechanic and went on to earn the Good Conduct Medal (x2); the National Defense Service Medal; the Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Star; the Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device; the Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit; Meritorious Unit; the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; and a Meritorious Unit Citation.
Ice-T
Musician, songwriter, and rapper Tracy Lauren Marrow — better known in the music scene as Ice-T and also for his long-running starring role on TV’s Law & Order SVU — joined the U.S. Army in 1979 after graduating high school. He served the 25th Infantry Division for four years.
Drew Carey
TV funny man and game show host Drew Carey served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves starting in 1980. He was honorably discharged in 1986 and he says that he adopted the Marines crew cut and horn-rimmed glasses as his trademark look due to his service.
Adam Driver
Adam Driver, who found fame as Kylo Ren in the Star Wars series, joined the U.S. Marines shortly after the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. He was briefly assigned to the Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, before being medically discharged due to an injury.

Case Study - 001
Tumblr media
Warning: GRAPHIC CONTENT
Note: I chose to do this one first because for my Forensic Science class we had to investigate a case of our choice, write and report, and do a powerpoint for it and this was basically my final project for the class. Enjoy!
The span of these crimes was from 1983-1985 and the victims were lured to a bunker in the woods through ads that were posted of stolen goods. If the respondents were male, they were beaten, robbed from, and then shot often within a day of their capture. Female respondents were tied up, tortured, forced into submission, then raped. They would be shot and killed after their “services were no longer needed.”  Families or couples that were brought to the bunker had the same outcomes.
Charles Ng (pronounced as ing) was born Christmas Eve of 1960 in Hong Kong. Ng was a compulsive Kleptomaniac as a child and he was sent to several boarding schools in both China and London. He was granted a student visa in 1978 to study in the U.S and his parents hoped a new life in another country would set their son straight. Briefly attending the College of Notre Dame, Ng dropped out after one semester to join the Marines.
To do so, Ng lied about his birthplace in order to keep his criminal record a secret. He was caught stealing guns, explosives, and other weaponry before being sentenced to 18 months in Leavenworth prison after his dishonorable discharge from the U.S Marines.
Tumblr media
Leonard Lake was born on October 29, 1945, in San Francisco. His parents separated when he was six years old, leaving him and his siblings in the care of his grandparents.
Growing up, Lake was described as very cunning but sinister as he would collect mice and other small animals to dissolve them in acidic chemicals. He developed a pornography addiction during this time and Lake would force his sisters into taking sexual photos of themselves or performing sexual acts in exchange for protection from their abusive brother Dom. This incestual behavior was encouraged by Lake’s grandmother.
Lake attended the University of San Jose State but also dropped out after a single semester. He also joined the Marines in 1965 when he was 19 years old and served two tours as a radar operator during Vietnam. He received a medical diagnosis of Schizoid Personality Disorder, an uncommon condition in which people avoid social activities and consistently shy away from interaction with others and also have a limited range of emotional expression, which caused him to be medically discharged in 1971.
After his diagnosis, he received psychotherapy treatments and joined a hippie commune afterward. At the commune, Lake was directing and starring in adult films that involved bondage and/or sadomasochism. He met his first wife at the commune but the marriage didn’t last long when she discovered Lake’s film industry and after he kept insisting that she star in said films.
Tumblr media
Lake was remarried to Claralyn “Cricket” Balazs in 1981 after Lake was imprisoned in 1980 for car theft, she was the “woman of his dreams” as she willingly complied to his sexual interests. It is suspected that Cricket had some knowledge of her husband’s behavior and that she assisted in the luring of Ng and Lake’s victims.
She once admitted in a police interview that Lake would often bring in children or various ages and genders and that she wondered what it would feel like to do stuff to them.
The bunker in the woods where the crimes took place also belonged to Balazs.
Tumblr media
Lake had believed a nuclear holocaust was near and needed sex slaves to repopulate the earth. When he met Ng he passed this plan on to the susceptible, younger male. As chronicled in a series of video diaries, Ng and Lake are caught on tape raping, beating, and killing their victims along with their own personal monologues.
There was also a typed journal with a list of Lake’s Rules for his behavior and treatment to his victims. They had more of a mentor-mentee relationship; Ng was the Sheep and Lake was the Shepard. Ng had always had such ideas but he was too shy of a man to commit to his urges by himself.

The Victims (Confirmed):
Harvey Dubs
Deborah Dubs
Sean Dubs (infant)
Lonnie Bond Sr. (Lake’s Neighbor)
Brenda O’Connor (Bond’s Wife)
Lonnie Bond Jr. (infant)
Clifford Peranteau
Jeffrey Gerald
Michael Carroll
Kathleen Allen (boyfriend was Ng’s cellmate)
Robin Scott Stapley
Both men are suspected of being responsible for the disappearances of up to 25 people. The women were kept in the bunker for at least a few days or up to a week before they were shot and killed after they were tortured and raped repeatedly while their family watched and then got shot right in front of her eyes. The men were used for financial gain, although they and the children were not the main priority of Ng and Lake. Men and children were killed within the same day as their abduction.

Lake’s Possible Victim’s
Charles Gunnar: Military friend of Lake’s. Lake’s best man in both of his weddings. Went missing during ‘83-’85 and Lake was using Gunnar’s ID at one point in time. His remains were discovered at the ranch in September of 1992.
Donald “Dom” Lake: Leonard Lake’s younger brother. The one he used as a threat during his childhood in order to get sexual favors from his sisters in exchange for protection. Vanished in 1983 and was presumed dead. His remains were also found on the ranch in September 1992.
Paul Cosner: Police found out that the real Robin Stapley was missing for several weeks at the time of Lake’s arrest and that Lake’s car belonged to Paul Cosner, 39, who had also been missing for eight months in November 1984. 2001: a San Francisco judge found Ng and Lake responsible for the murder of Paul Cosner, a missing auto trader who was presumed dead.
Donald Giulietti: The FBI estimates their kidnapping and killing spree started within a month of their reunion. In July 1984, Donald Giuletti, a San Francisco disc jockey, and his roommate, Richard Carrazza, were shot by an Asian man who broke into their apartment and robbed them.
Giulietti died in the attack but Carrazza survived and would later identify Charles Ng as his attacker. The pistol used in the attack was found at the Wilseyville site.
Tumblr media
Lake and Ng got caught when they went to the store to buy a new vise on June 2, 1985. The store owner was immediately suspicious since Lake used Stapely’s ID; Stapely was 26 but Lake looked far from it. Ng couldn’t control his instincts and tried to steal from the store only to have the owner catch Ng in the act. The police were called but Ng fled from the scene, leaving Lake behind to go into hiding.
Lake stayed behind in an attempt to pay for the goods in order to elude arrest. In his car, police found a .22 revolver with an illegally equipped silencer, which is why they were allowed to arrest him at that moment. Since Ng was nowhere to be found, police investigated the bunker.
Police discovered the bodies of 11 people and 45 pounds of unidentifiable bones, caches of weapons and explosives, personals from the victims such as clothes and forms of ID, and the videotape diaries.
Ng escaped to Canada but got caught shoplifting at another store. Only this time, he panicked and drew a gun, which led to one of the officers getting shot in the hand. He was charged with robbery, attempted robbery, possession of a firearm, and attempted murder in Canada; Ng did his time there for the crimes committed there before being turned over to American authorities.
Tumblr media
In questioning, Lake told the police about Ng, where the bunker was located and gave a hint about what their master plan was. He asked the officer for a cup of water and a pen with paper. While the officer went to fetch the water, Lake wrote his suicide note. He used the water to swallow two cyanide pills that he had sewn into his coat collar. Police thought Lake was going to put his confession in writing when he asked them for pen and paper so they happily complied.
Lake was rushed to the hospital and fell into a coma, survived on life support for four days before he died on June 6, 1985.
Tumblr media
The trial was overly complicated because of Ng’s lie about his nationality and the fact that Ng would often fire lawyers, change the location of the trial, and attempt to defend himself in order to buy himself time and hopefully avoid a trial. Eventually, he faced trial for the first time in 1991.
The final trial took place in 1999 and it lasted for eight months. The jury deliberated for about two weeks until Ng was found guilty for the murder of six men, three women, and two baby boys. He was sentenced to death after he and Lake were caught and was sent to San Quentin. While no sentencing date is set, Ng is appealing his conviction to this day.
Tumblr media
Side Notes:
Ng’s Military Cellmate said in a television interview that Ng professed to hating some ethnic groups and homosexuals so much that he killed a gay man by burning him alive.
“The Collector” by John Fowles is a novel about a lonely young man who works as a clerk in a city hall and collects butterflies in his spare time.
The man becomes obsessed with a female art student and instead of coming up to her he watches her from a distance because it appears that he is socially underdeveloped.
He then kidnaps the woman after moving into an isolated lodge and adds her to his collection of preserved beauties. He promises not to hurt her, only to shower her with his spoils.
He is convinced that she would learn to love him over time, but she becomes ill and dies.
Lake is said to have been obsessed with this novel.
Kenneth Ng, Charles Ng’s father, blames himself for his son’s role in the killing spree on the physical abuse he did to his son during his childhood.
He testified in court that during that time, there was almost no line between discipline and child abuse. He meant to bring up his son in a narrow and straight path, which sometimes meant tethering him and whipping him with a stick.
"I tried to bring him up right. Unfortunately, I used the wrong way. I thought this was normal. But now I know how wrong I am."
Mr. Ng wanted his son to be sentenced to life in prison instead of to death, “I do hope I still have him in jail, instead of dead," he said.
Relatives of the victims said they were not swayed by the testimony, but expressed sympathy for Kenneth Ng.
It was reported that Ng held his head down for the testimony and cried silently as his father spoke.

Wholesome Loser College AU
I needed some wholesome content where all of the Losers go to the same college and never forget each other, so I wrote some head canons!
Mike Hanlon: studies Veterinary medicine with plans to specialize in livestock health and wellness. Has always loved animals from a young age and wants to better their living conditions anyway he can. The way his face lights up when interacting with any animal is something the Losers find so precious and love so much. When he eventually moves out of the dorms and gets his own apartment with a few of the Losers he quickly opens up his home to be a foster home for sick and homeless animals, much to the others dismay. It’s tough work, but mikes compassion and love for the animals outweighs all of the sleepless nights spent studying.
Stanley Uris: studies accounting. He knew it was a boring major, but it was safe and was something he was comfortable with. Richie went out of his way to tease Stanley about his career choice, calling him an actual 80 year old man. But Stanley was content, and that made the others content as well. Dabbles in photography/ takes a photography class and is just naturally good at it. His whole portfolio is filled with beautiful shots of birds and nature and of course candid shots of all the Losers when Stanley finds them most breathtaking. When mike is laughing heartily, or when Beverly takes the first puff of her cigarette after a long stressful day. When Eddies fiery and full of energy and throws all caution to the wind, or when the suns golden hour cascades off Bills earnest smile in such a way that makes all of the Losers swoon. When Ben looks at Beverly; hopelessly lovesick, or when Richie looks at Eddie in the exact same way. As much as Stanley loved photographing birds, capturing his family in these special moments meant so much more to him.
Eddie Kaspbrak : studies medicine/nursing. It took him a long time to finally get over his fear of germs and put his medical knowledge to good use. It was years of therapy and setting boundaries with his mother, but he did it. He thrives on helping others, he always has, so being able to do it for a career was a no-brainer for him. All of the Losers go to him for medical advice, sometimes in lieu of going to a true medical profession, and jokingly call him Dr.K. He pretends he’s annoyed by it, but in reality he loves it more than anything. Helping his friends is the most important thing to him, and if that means spoon feeding a stupid sick Richie his soup, or helping Ben set up a healthy balance of exercise and nutrition, then that’s what he’s going to do. They were his family after all.
Richie Tozier: studies radio broadcasting and communications, and takes classes in improv acting. He also has a job on campus as a disc jockey where he loves to put on different voices and make up characters for when he is on air. his favourite being “Trashmouth”, a foul mouthed man from Chicago that likes to drop far too many expletives than are allowed on the radio, but no one is really listening anyways (besides the Losers of course). His transcripts were amazing, he was a straight a student in high school, and he could have majored In just about anything, but wanted to do what made him the happiest, making people laugh. The other Losers thought that was his super power, making others laugh. No matter how upset or angry they were, Richie had a way of lighting up their day. He lived to hear his friends laughter and to make them smile, and the attention he got from them (good or bad) was a plus too. Eddie and Stan would often tease him, saying he was making a mistake because he absolutely was not funny, but that was simply not true. Richie was the funniest person they knew, and the Losers were always there to support him wholeheartedly.
Beverly Marsh: studies fashion and design. She’s always had such a cool and unique fashion sense and the others encouraged her to pursue it as her career. She got a full ride scholarship due to her financial situation, which was one of the main reasons she even agreed to go to college. The Losers had scoured endlessly to help her find a scholarship, knowing full well that she wouldn’t go unless she had one. She never imagined herself in college, surrounded by so many talented and amazing people, but once she settled in she fit in seamlessly. The clothes she creates tend to lean on the androgynous side, her motto being that people should wear what makes them feel cool and comfortable and not what society wants them to wear, definitely taking her and her friends fashion senses into account. She often uses the boys as models for her clothes to use for her portfolio (Stanley volunteers as photographer, feeling far more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it) and even though the others aren’t particularly comfortable with it, they would do anything to support Beverly. She even goes out of her way to make her boys special articles of clothing to keep, elevated versions of things they already wore, which just melts their hearts completely.
Ben Hanscom: studies architecture and design. Ben has always been interested in design since he was young, single-handedly designing and constructing the Losers underground clubhouse. It was just something that came so natural to him and It's the one thing he's truly confident in. Every time he creates a new project, even if it’s just a simple sketch or a full blown diorama, he gets so excited to show it off to the Loser. The Losers always drown him in praise, especially Bev. The Losers praises inspire Ben to always do his best, and eventually gets an internship at a super prestigious architecture company, and the losers couldn’t think of anyone who deserves it more.
Bill Denbrough: studies literature/writing, with an emphasis in creative writing. Bill was always a little shy about his writing, never thinking anything would come from his stupid short stories. Until one day when he let Mike read one and Mike gave him endless praise and encouragement to pursue it further. He tends to write horror, drawing from his past traumas to make truly heart wrenching content. His professors often praise his originality in character designs, though he honestly can’t take credit for that. Almost all of his characters are based loosely off his close friends. He also takes classes in painting and art, loving to express himself in many different mediums. Bill will often draw his friends whenever he can, whether it’s a full blown portrait or just silly little doodles, they are his favourite to draw. The other Losers are always so touched when Bill gives them or shows them a drawing of themselves, and Bill is just happy he can make them smile.
