Dinnertable is the name that stuck for that is to his best knowledge, what he used to be...at least, that was the lifetime that meant the most.

There was once an Oak, a strong, supporting tree. However, it was simply a tree, content, sturdy, and long-lived...until one day a pack of wild humans cut him down! Cut him down for war! (Ten thousand years jail for humans!!!) while most of his body was chopped up and used for devising weapons for warfare and the demise of those they opposed.

One craftsman, however, saw a lifetime in the wood of this great Oak. saw it for its sturdiness, it was for more than war and hate. Something was important about this oak trunk, the craftsman was stuck with, and by the gods, she would craft the finest, most reliable, yet simple. dining table. Who to purchase such a table, for a growing group of peacemakers, but a worn, middle-aged human, by the name of Ronan. placed near the center of what would become the Groves Sanctuary.

And so set on the table were many plates of food and feast, desert, spirits, laughter and tears, merrymaking and talk of death, war and peace, hate love, the wood the oak, it felt every stain, felt the thumping of music, heard Ventari teach, write, live...and eventually, die.

it was on this day, the day Ventari died, that something awoke within that table, all of that time, so much hope, so much death, mourning, loss...what use would Ventari have for a table...for friends who are no longer even alive, for a group that perished by now, years ago.

Heavy-hearted, Ventari had left this, oddly...memorable piece of furniture and made his last trek.

The first I recall.

A guardian, tall and strong made of oak or some hardwood...stained easy, grew moss well, but it was older, not as fresh or young as everyone called me, what was it...Sapling? Seedling? Valiant... so what am i then, this isnt right it dosnt feel right...

At least, the thought of supporting others keeps me going, i can support them through anything i thought i could do all this and more...and yet, i of all sylvari, an oak, a reliable firm wood, that once held the trays of food and spirits foe the pale tree herself, an odly...safe...familiar feeling, the peace, and stillness...of holding bevrages and food for others in complete and total silence...thats probly why i died to the green knight as soon as i posed a threat between him and Ides...

That is generally sad because having parents who aren't really abusive or emotionally straining yet- they don't really feel like people who LOVE you? I guess? Like- Hajime's parents were probably just normal everyday parents like Makotos but, I'm just spit Ballin here, they're less optimistic than Makotos parents, who in contrast, always bonded with their children and loved them right off the bat.

You can feel like a stranger in your family, and that sucks. It's no one's direct fault and no one can point to any huge grievance, which makes it hard to pinpoint, which means you never get the Comfort Of Family or the Tools of Dealing With Abusive Parents- you just. Manage.
