Latest monocolor cel shaded custom design commission for DigitalDimension!! This time I drew his sona, Digi, as a future paradox pokemon inspired by Kirby's Robobot Armor. Though of course, rather than riding the armor, Digi IS the armor! I particularly enjoyed experimenting with his holographic cape and hair. It's a type of effect I've wanted to do for years but haven't pulled off this cleanly before! I'm so happy abt it!!!
I designed him based on a large handful of refs Digital sent me, primarily of Kirby's robobot armor and of various mechanical pokemon. He wanted him to have floating ears and a railgun, while I suggested the hologram hair and cape. I also decided his eyes should be both orange and cyan, rather than simply cyan as they usually are. Looks more eyecatching that way I think!
Thanks for the commission, I loved drawing your sona! I wonder what we'll call his paradox form. Iron Knight? or is that a thing already? (hasn't played scarlet or violet)

Chapter 1: A World on the Verge
In the not-so-distant future, a world existed on the precipice of two realms: science and the surreal. This was a place where the boundaries of reality were blurred, where the tangibility of the material and the intangibility of the abstract paralleled together in an intricate realm. It was a world transcended the limitations of time and space, forging a path leding to the nexus of human ingenuity and boundless imagination.
Cities sprawled across landscapes seemed borrowed from dreams—skyscrapers touched the clouds, gardens defining gravity, and streets illuminated by the ethereal glow of bioluminescent flora. Technology, once confined to the realm of fiction, had blossomed into an ever-present companion, seamlessly integrated into the fabric of daily life. Hovercrafts zipped through the air with the grace of birds, and holographic interfaces painted the air with information at a mere thought's command.
But it was not just technology defining this world; it was the enigma of the doors. Each door stood as a testament to the fusion of science and the surreal, a portal to be beckoned to the intrepid and the curious. The doors were unlike any other, mechanisms and symbols intertwined to create gateways whispering of secrets and beckons to the brave.
These doors were no mere ornamentation; they were conduits to a reality beyond the ordinary. For those who ventured through, rumors whispered of unprecedented wealth and unparalleled acknowledgment. Yet, the catch was those who entered seldom returned, would find a new reality promising more than the world they left behind. It was a tantalizing reward, which spoke to the deep-seated human yearning for the unknown.
In this world, Agent Tuaren found himself standing at the nexus of science and the surreal. His mission, a clandestine, had thrust him into a realm where the boundaries of possibility were not just tested but shattered. As an agent, Tuaren was accustomed to navigating the shadows, uncovering truths hidden in the labyrinth of information. Yet, this assignment was unlike any other, a puzzle requiring the melding of logic and intuition.
Before him stood a door, an intricate amalgamation of technology and symbolism. Its surface shimmered with a luminescent sheen, captivating in its allure yet shrouded in an air of trepidation. This door held the key to a realm uncharted—a realm which held answer it could possibly reshape not just his understanding but the very fabric of the world.
Tuaren's gaze shifted to the sentinel standing guard beside the door—a guardian of circuits and metal. It scanned him with optics being held both curiosity and caution, an artificial sentinel tasked with protecting the passage to the enigma beyond. A silent exchange passed between them, an understanding in this paralleling of science and the surreal, the uncharted territories were theirs to navigate.
As the first chapter of this saga unfurled, it marked the beginning of Tuaren's journey—a journey to test not just his skills as an agent but his perception of reality itself. In a world where the doors beckoned and the enigma whispered, a man stood on the verge of discovery, on the brink of a revelation hallenging the very foundation of science, logic, and the surreal.
And so, the tale of Agent Tuaren's journey began, a journey to unravel the threads of reality and weave a new narrative in the tapestry of existence. A world on the verge awaited its destiny, and at its center stood a door—a door that was not just a portal but a threshold to the unknown.

various other commissions from last month!!
First drawing is for Digitaldimension (https://twitter.com/DigitalKirpuff)! It’s a gijinka design for his sona, Digi! His outfit’s slightly based off my KDL3 Kirby gijinka’s outfit (which you can see on my instagram) but modified since Digi’s an adult (KDL3 Kirby’s 12 y/o lol). It was fun to draw him, his color palette’s really warm and versatile even though it’s almost monochromatic... kinda like Kirby’s! All in all very fun. Also my first time designing a gijinka for someone else! He has 4 ears because he is part Jigglypuff.
The second drawing is Akoya Pearl for @dumbass-dude! She is part of the same team as Tiffany Stone, and her glowing blue eye is an emotional scar similar to Volleyball’s cracked eye in the show. I love her color palette and especially her hair.
The third drawing is Lorna Rosé for @lorna-rosefox for her friend’s youtube channel! He’s started using a new editing style featuring pngs of their sonas, which are all my artwork! Lorna asked for a new png because I’d actually lost her original png when my old computer fucking died... so I only had the space biker version of her character on-hand! So now I have a proper replacement.

A cel-shaded commission I drew for my friend Digitaldimension! It is his OC Digi after fleeing from Galacta Knight... looks like he lost the fight. He's actually on a totally barren planet, hiding! Hope he can stay out of sight and recover for now.
I love drawing cel-shaded stuf, I'm sad I don't do it as much lately since I've been so busy! So, I am glad Digital asked me to work on this drawing! It was also fun painting the background with all the rocks and faults-- It's been a while since I painted too now that I think abt it! Damn, I guess my Kirby drawings have been occupying a lot of my time lately & I haven't experimented as much! Oh well, it's fun to experiment whenever I'm able anyways.
Also it was interesting drawing something more dark/serious with a puffball character! I have drawn a bit of Kirby related body horror for my gijinka project (and trust me there will absolutely be more) but the keyword there is 'gijinka', and I haven't really drawn blood for that. The puffballs having blood isn't something that crossed my mind actually! But it's fun to experiment and explore new ideas, so I had a good time drawing this illustration. Fun fact, Digi's scar color is actually the same as his skin color, just on a 'multiply' layer!

Another commission for DigitalDimension!! Featuring Digi in puffball form, with armor! You can also call him Dimension Knight. His pose is referenced from Meta Knight’s Smash Bros Brawl pose. Still very fun to draw! Though it’s surprisingly tough to draw a perfect puffball-- I think DigitalDimension himself is much more skilled at posing his character when he draws him, since he draws kirby characters all the time!
