The Four-Eyed Fish Formula: Seeing What Marketing Opportunities Hide Below the Surface
The Four-Eyed Fish Formula: Seeing What Marketing Opportunities Hide Below the Surface
Tumblr media
Picture this: you're lounging near a serene lagoon in Central America, soaked in tranquility. Suddenly, a peculiar sight disrupts the calm—a fish with what seems to be four eyes. No need to rub your eyes; you're not seeing things. Meet the anableps, a fish that’s not just any ordinary creature, but a remarkable spectacle of nature’s ingenuity. Each eye of this fish is divided into two parts, allowing it to scan the world above water while simultaneously surveying the depths below. A natural-born multitasker, this fish is an elite survivor.
Now, let’s embark on a journey from the waters of Central America to the ever-changing internet marketplace. Your audience? They're swimming in two different realms too. Above the surface are the dreamers—those who whimsically float through Instagram reels, dive into aspirational YouTube videos, and curate Pinterest boards for the life they're aspiring to live. Below the surface, we find the doers—the decisive lot Googling solutions, comparing reviews, and taking action now.
The question is, are you like the anableps, seeing both worlds at once, or are you missing out on hidden opportunities lurking just below the surface? The secret to mastering marketing lies in balancing both perspectives, just as nature designed for our four-eyed fish friend.
Consider this: focusing solely on the dreamers means you're crafting enchanting visuals and inspiring content that may spark interest and gather likes, but without anchoring doers, inspiration doesn't convert into action. Conversely, targeting only the doers might translate into sales, but you risk missing out on nurturing long-term brand advocates.
To thrive like the anableps, marketers must learn to develop split vision—a harmonious blend that caters to the dreamers and doers alike. This is the essence of the Four-Eyed Fish Formula for success in marketing.
Creating content that speaks to dreamers means crafting narratives that inspire, using visuals and stories that resonate with their aspirations. It's about engaging their imagination and drawing them into a vision of what's possible. Here’s where stunning visuals, engaging storytelling, and shareable moments come into play.
Meanwhile, for the doers, it's all about precision. They're seeking information, proof, and practical solutions. This calls for data-driven strategies, comprehensive reviews, straightforward testimonials, and conversion-focused funnels. By guiding them through a seamless journey from curiosity to checkout, you fulfill their immediate needs.
Your task as a marketer? To gracefully swim between these currents, building a holistic strategy where every piece of content plays its part. Think of your marketing efforts as weaving a net that captures audiences above and below the surface.
So how can you start mastering this skill? Begin by mapping out your audience’s journey. Identify touchpoints where they might pivot from dreaming to doing. Use analytics to refine your understanding. Leverage tools that let you personalize content to cater to varying audience mindsets.
The anableps didn't develop its unique vision by chance; it was evolution fueled by necessity. In marketing, similarly, understanding both perspectives isn’t just an advantage—it's a survival skill in a crowded digital marketplace.
Are you looking at your audience with split vision like the anableps? Or are you overlooking the goldmine beneath the surface?
It’s time to learn how easy it can be to find and connect with your audience. Our 100% Free Training unveils how to make extra income online within hours! You'll receive step-by-step guidance, complete case studies, and the precise system to copy, paste, and profit—no experience necessary. Don't wait, it's only available for a limited time!

Master Writing Compelling Blog Titles, Avoid Clickbait?
Tumblr media
Have you ever come across a blog title that grabbed your attention, but the content failed to deliver? It left you feeling misled and annoyed, didn't it?
I've been there too, and it motivated me to master the art of writing compelling blog titles without resorting to clickbait.
It all started when I began my content creation journey. I noticed that my blog post CTR (click-through rate) was low, despite my efforts to create informative and engaging content.
I soon realized that my blog titles were the culprit. They were not compelling enough to entice readers to click and read my articles.
I started researching and experimenting with different techniques to improve my blog titles.
I discovered that SEO optimization and emotional triggers are the keys to creating blog titles that stand out in the crowded digital space.
I began incorporating relevant keywords and long-tail phrases in my blog titles, making it easier for search engines to index and rank my content.
I also learned to use emotional triggers such as curiosity, urgency, and intrigue to create a sense of anticipation and excitement in my readers.
One of my most successful blog titles was "The Shocking Truth About XYZ"- a title that created a sense of intrigue and urgency, encouraging readers to click and read my article.
However, I made sure that the content delivered on its promise, avoiding clickbait tactics that leave readers feeling misled and frustrated. But, creating compelling blog titles is not a one-time task.
It requires continuous testing, analyzing, and improving. I frequently monitor my CTR and engagement metrics to identify what works and what doesn't.
I also use tools such as Google Trends, SEMrush, and Buzzsumo to identify popular keywords and trending topics in my niche. Moreover, I make it a point to write blog titles that accurately reflect the content of my articles. I believe that building trust and credibility with my audience is more important than getting a quick click.
In conclusion, writing compelling blog titles without resorting to clickbait is possible with the right techniques and strategies.
By incorporating relevant keywords, long-tail phrases, and emotional triggers, you can create blog titles that stand out in the crowded digital space.
Remember, building trust and credibility with your audience is crucial for long-term success.

How Concerned Citizens Drove a Neo-Nazi Out of Rural Maine
Christopher Pohlhaus planned to build a fascist training compound in the woods of rural Maine. The local journalists, veterans, lumberjacks, and policymakers weren't having it.
Pohlhaus, 37, is a former U.S. marine, an itinerant tattoo artist, and a hardcore white-supremacist influencer. He is loud and hostile, and proud to be both. His voice is pitched surprisingly high, and he has a slight Southern drawl. He has a large body and small bald head; a blue-black tattoo crawls up the right side of his face, from his chin to his forehead. Over the years, Pohlhaus has collected thousands of social media followers, who know him by his nickname: Hammer.
Hammer had been living in Texas for a few years when, in March 2022, he bought the land in Maine. He told his followers that he was going to use it to build a haven, operational center, and training ground for white supremacists.
Check out our excerpt of The Atavist’s latest blockbuster story.

The Netflix Formula: What a DVD Late Fee Can Teach You About Affiliate Marketing
The Netflix Formula: What a DVD Late Fee Can Teach You About Affiliate Marketing
Tumblr media
Picture this: you've just finished watching Apollo 13. Tom Hanks is floating in zero gravity, and you're floating on a cloud of movie bliss. But suddenly, that zen is shattered by a $40 late fee for not returning the DVD on time. It feels less like a penalty and more like a fine for loving life a little too much. This wasn’t just an inconvenience for Reed Hastings; it was the catalyst for the creation of Netflix. Hastings didn’t invent DVDs or streaming services; he simply identified a problem that needed solving. And that’s the lesson for affiliate marketers—solving problems is the name of the game.
Identify the Pain Points in Your Niche
Back in the day, late fees were a universal pain in the neck. For affiliate marketers, the equivalent pain points might include:
- Overwhelmed Buyers: Too many choices with scant guidance can paralyze decision-making.
- High Shipping Costs: Expensive logistics can deter would-be buyers.
- Confusing Sales Funnels: Potential buyers may be getting lost in a convoluted path toward a purchase.
The first step in crafting a successful affiliate marketing strategy is to ask: What’s causing my audience unnecessary pain?
How to Find These Pain Points
- Surveys and Polls: Directly ask your audience what’s stopping them from pulling the trigger on a purchase.
- Keyword Research: Search for queries like “Why is [product] so expensive?” or “[product] alternatives.”
- Read Reviews: Peruse both the glowing and the grumbling reviews of similar products to understand what people love and what drives them nuts.
Solve Problems with Actionable Content
Once you've pinpointed the pain, position yourself as the remedy. Your content, be it a blog post, product review, or tutorial, should feel as comforting and familiar as a coffee chat—helpful, clear, and actionable.
Examples
- Lead Magnets: Offer a free guide or checklist that speaks directly to a problem, such as “How to Choose the Best Email Marketing Software Without Wasting Money.”
- Product Comparisons: Illustrate how one product can solve specific issues better than its competitors.
- Step-by-Step Tutorials: Guide your audience on achieving goals faster and with ease.
Just like Reed Hastings tackled late fees with mail-order DVDs and, later, with streaming, provide content that feels custom-built for your audience’s needs.
Leverage Social Media for Maximum Reach
Social media isn’t just for sharing memes—it’s a treasure trove of potential for affiliate marketers, allowing you to reach a vast audience often for free.
Strategies to Try
- Short-form Video: Craft reels or TikToks that showcase the problem-solving prowess of your product.
- Engage Your Audience: Use polls, quizzes, or open-ended questions to spark dialogue.
- Repurpose Content: Transform your blog posts into infographics, carousels, or Twitter threads to capture new eyeballs.
By pairing the right content with the right platform, conversions will start to skyrocket. Just like Netflix evolved from DVDs to streaming, always adapt to where your audience is spending their time.
Ready to Start Solving Problems and Profiting?
A $40 late fee spurred a billion-dollar streaming empire. Your frustrations—and those of your audience—can lead to equally incredible opportunities. Whether it’s crafting the perfect email sequence, designing a seamless sales funnel, or promoting the right affiliate products, the key lies in alleviating pain points.
Speaking of solving problems, ever wondered about making extra income online effortlessly? Take the plunge with our 100% Free Training, showing you step by step how to copy, paste, and profit, no experience necessary:
