^ that's the blazing core of this art piece and what originated the entire idea. As soon as I read the new page I knew with absolute certainty I'd have to draw this freak, but my original fuzzy idea was nowhere near as cool as this basically divine spark of inspiration I got one morning less than a week ago. It's really rare for an art idea to come to reality so fast for me! I streamed myself working on this, that may have sped things up <3 Things that were particularly important for me to convey in this one were Andia's disdainful look half-covered by hair, the sword's tip touching the Void pendant, and Fana's eyes being more open than they'd usually ever be… I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I am currently in the process of starting a project in which I go, upd8 by upd8, through all (currently) 247 Fanadventures that have 200 or more favourites.

Along the way, I’m going to analyze these webcomics not simply by their own text, but also how they teach us about the medium and culture of MSPFA, as well as it’s relationship with Homestuck itself.

That’s right, I’m going to do this by timeline! I think. Again, this project is in the initial stages of development. But I think this project and journey will need some documentation. So, probably that will be here.

Although Idzill is also quite impatient if they are not actively doing anything, and usually goes straight from a zero to one hundred when trying to solve a problem. Go straight to becoming a vigilante assassin… Idzill uses their dexterous skills to be quite the terrifying assassin, though they try their best to only accept hits for people they would consider bad. Idzill does not speak and uses signs 🪧 with their quirk painted onto them to communicate, that’s one way to view sign language i suppose…

The silliest, most self deprecating emo you’ll ever have the displeasure of meeting. His favorite movies would be the troll twilight saga, and they would make fanfiction of his rainbow drinker oc and Troll Edward. and so... that’s it. that’s homestuck. a tale about a boy and his friends and a game they played together. about 8,000 pages.

it’s... it’s been fun. i’ve gotta say, i’ve just generally had a lot of fun since i got into homestuck earlier this year. lol, the first hs content i consumed was playing hiveswap, of all things. played through it, loved the characters, the setting, the whole vibe of it all, and decided, yknow what, why don’t i give that old cringey webcomic a try? and i think, maybe, that was a good idea. since then i’ve made some new friends, had a blast talking through stuff like classpects and parts of the game, and even now, i just started a MSPFA!! i actually started posting a story about some ocs of mine!!! who would’ve thought that’s what i’d be doing at the start of the year?

anyways, what i’m trying to say is, it’s been really nice having something to think about, taking up all the space in my brain all day, during a time like this. i’ve enjoyed being able to think of these characters, their world, their stories, instead of my own, for a little while. and uh, from what i’ve heard from some long-time fans, something about this series just has its way of really sticking in your head for a while, lmao.
