My Digital Circus theories so far
-The "Digital Circus" is a place for "Users" to Enjoy and Forget about problems. But everything starts to fall when a user confronts those problems, Creating a Program error represented in abstraction. But, if the Digital circus is trully a place to "Forget", its Caine's job that the users don't confront the problem, so his solution is not responding to negative or intrusive "feedback", So he makes coping places, Those being the adventures.
-Caine's is getting a memory leak or no more memory space, that would explained his forgetfulness, by deleting old "memories" or files, since in this episode is showed that he stores a lot of things from NPC's to program Behaviors. Other reason that Caine is glitching is because there are more users than expected, so its loading more information at once, once it decompresses all, by maybe resetting in the Digital Circus or the "Lobby"
-Gangles reason to Enter the Circus: They would be an easy target to enter, a person with high stress that doesnt have time for their own time, so they enter but that doesnt fullfill them, it's just a distraction that they can never leave from the nature of the circus -Ragatha reason to Enter the Circus: Ragatha may grew with a little money, since all the activies she named (dancing, Tea parties, package managing) could be side jobs, and maybe just maybe, she does this to take care of a ranch maybe family ranch, making that her problem and akwardness with people, since all her life and problems surround people. So her reason to enter was a place more casual, without being responsible for once, and finally talk to people. But all those people that she wants to pass 6the time with, have their own problems that she was avoiding for the goal of a place without worries.
-Zoobles reason to Enter the Circus: Zoobles represents something that people already do in the real world, they escape to games were they can perzonalize themselves and be another person "Online". But here in the circus, with time, They are forced to be themselves, theyre problem is the lack of control, from theyre body to theyre Scheduale.
-Before contiuing with the next characters heres my theory behind the corporation: This corporation doesnt know exactly what the program/ Digital circus is. since it can only truly be exprienced from inside and they cant get feedback. from people that somewhat are "teleported" inside (seen by the end of the Pilot Episode (A VR set without a person but with the program still running)) With that also is the reason why caine cant delete or poof off abstraction, since theyre real people and not simple programing.
-Kinger reason to Enter the Circus: Kinger's reason must be from his computer science background, he must had the opportunity to enter the circus as a "Bug" Tester and generally Admin type of people tend to give themselves a cheeky "powerful" name. in this case "Kinger", that's probably why he is the one of the first or oldest of the circus, because he had early access.
-Pomni reason to Enter the Circus: Its reasonable that she could be an intern in the company, since that's why she maybe has a "default skin", that being an intern, Now as an intern she maybe sneak into the System, since she doesn't seem to like or be forced to do things, so her form of doing this is to wander off, but in this place she needs to confront that she cant, but is open to learn and listen, since that is what she singed up for.
-Jax reason to Enter the Circus: Many people say he's an Npc or Hacker (since the name Jax or Hack), But maybe hes a freelancer, and was given the opportunity to Try the cirucs as a first time user since hes "User.001", But since he is the first, he has a whole new perpective to other character, he doesnt know if the others are NPCs and he's still "Testing", thats why maybe hes cruel to other People that he doesnt know the line between real person and fake person. Now his distaste for being controlled maybe is because of his freelancer background, and being under someone is the worst for him. him being in the longest would explain his knwoledge and the nature of the Circus. And my reason why he is the first and not kinger? He knows kinger was there the longest but since he lost his mind Jax is his own alliby.

Thinking Abt my au again and how I can add a (hinted at) jeremike ship, even though Mike dies before Jeremy... Didn't wanna make anyone scroll through it all so it's under cut
Sooo I was thinking, what if Mike didn't go to sleep directly after his father went missing? What if, while looking around for stuff one day, multiple years after he did go missing, he found the one of his father's old notebooks, specifically the one he tried to keep hidden about Elizabeth possessing circus baby, writing in it something along the lines of "Circus baby killed Elizabeth, had to shut down project Funtime and blame it on a gas leak, though it seems that she's still alive somehow", and then ofc he goes down there gets scooped, blah blah blah. Then like- that would already be many years off the thirty years so Jeremy and Mike could grow up together a bit more before Mike dies, then a few years later fnaf 3 happens, then a year later FNAF 6. After FNAF 6 though, Mike doesn't come home, leaving Jeremy worried and going back to work for Fazbear entertainment, this time as a game tester, and then he ends up cutting off his face and all that. BUT he died with the headset on, so wouldn't he like- have some ghostly thing with that headset? Like phone guy appearing to possess the literal phone after he dies, seen in ucn. What if Jeremy somehow made it into the virtual world with William, ended up hiding the tapes and constantly keeping William/glitchtrap at bay, kinda like a firewall, while also over this time kinda merging with him a little so his soul follows Williams, meaning that when he escapes into the real world again, so does Jeremy who follows Vanessa and glitchtrap around, not letting glitchtrap take total control of Vanessa. And then after the whole security breach thing (my AU uses the fire ending and, with an earthquake going on while the place is on fire, it's just all blamed on the earthquake) after Vanessa is freed from glitchtrap's control and he's taken back to the digital realm, being more of a parasite and corruption now, while Jeremy stays roaming in the ruins on the pizzaplex as he's more of a human soul than a virus like William has become, while still holding some traits from the digital world. Then ofc Cassie's dad dies, so then they need another technician, right? Why not get the one technician that doesn't really like working at other locations but Fazbear entertainment has so much that they could, and most likely would, blackmail him with! (His real name, the fact that he's DEAD, he committed arson multiple times, trespassed multiple times, literally killed someone once on their property, identity fraud etc). So he goes there to help with repairing the place or whatever and finds Jeremy :D
And then Jeremy, having gone like- multiple years still alive while Mike was dead jokingly bragging about how he was older because he was still alive (technically Mike was older by a few months but- yeah :D) and also, with Mike at the ruin location, that'd mean he meets helpy againnnn! I wonder if he'd remember him?
Just realized this could be a fic NGL, I wanna write it so bad LMFAO 💀

We received access to Sora with the promise to be early testers, red teamers and creative partners. However, we believe instead we are being lured into "art washing" to tell the world that Sora is a useful tool for artists.
Yeah, sorry not sorry, did you really need to join an OpenAI beta test to realise that the company that trains its models on stolen content is actually not your friend?
This has a strong "I never thought leopards would eat MY face, sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party" vibe.
Instead of coming out as admirable Davids bravely challenging the AI-Goliath in defence teH aRtS, they imho expose themselves as opportunists prepared to swallow their ethics in order to get a head start on the AI art hype scene and its race to the bottom.
And no, I don't think they get to claim naivety here. We're way past the "Soylent Green is people" epiphany stage in our relationship to the tech industry in general, or to OpenAI in particular. Cmon, first signatory Memo Atken is hardly a noob in the digital art field.

The Essential Guide to Performance Software Testing: Ensuring Reliability at Scale
In today’s digital landscape, software applications face increasingly demanding performance expectations. Users expect seamless experiences, regardless of traffic spikes or complex backend processes. This is where performance software testing becomes critical. By measuring and optimizing how applications perform under various conditions, performance testing ensures that systems deliver consistent speed, reliability, and scalability — the pillars of an excellent user experience.
What is Performance Software Testing?
Performance software testing is a quality assurance process that evaluates how an application behaves under load. Unlike functional testing, which checks if an application performs specific tasks, performance testing focuses on the system’s speed, responsiveness, and stability under stress. This testing approach involves simulating different user loads and measuring the application’s behavior, allowing developers to identify and resolve bottlenecks before the software goes live.
Types of Performance Testing
Load Testing: This tests the application under expected user loads to check its response time, throughput, and resource utilization. Load testing reveals whether an application can handle its anticipated traffic smoothly.
Stress Testing: This goes beyond normal load conditions to determine the system's limits and how it recovers from failures. It’s particularly useful for identifying how the application performs under extreme conditions.
Scalability Testing: Scalability testing assesses the application’s capacity to scale up or down as needed. This test helps evaluate the application’s ability to handle an increasing number of users or transactions without sacrificing performance.
Endurance Testing: Also known as soak testing, this evaluates the system’s performance over extended periods under a typical load. It identifies potential memory leaks and issues that may degrade performance over time.
Spike Testing: This examines how an application behaves when there is a sudden, significant increase in load. Spike testing is particularly relevant for applications that experience unpredictable traffic spikes, such as e-commerce sites during major sales.
Why Performance Testing is Essential
Performance testing goes beyond ensuring that an application simply works; it ensures that the application works optimally. For businesses, poor application performance can lead to customer dissatisfaction, lost revenue, and brand damage. A slow, unreliable application can quickly drive users to competitors, making performance testing a vital component of the development lifecycle. Furthermore, by identifying and resolving issues early, organizations can avoid costly fixes after the product release.
Key Metrics in Performance Software Testing
Performance software testing relies on specific metrics to evaluate an application's efficiency and reliability:
Response Time: Measures how quickly the application responds to user inputs.
Throughput: Indicates the amount of data the application processes within a given time frame.
Resource Utilization: Examines how much CPU, memory, and disk space the application uses under various loads.
Error Rate: Tracks the percentage of requests that fail, offering insights into stability under different conditions.
These metrics provide a quantitative basis for assessing performance, helping testers determine if the application meets acceptable standards and, if not, where improvements are necessary.
Steps in the Performance Testing Process
Define Performance Criteria: Start by defining performance benchmarks and goals, taking into account user expectations and the application’s requirements.
Create Test Scenarios: Develop scenarios that reflect realistic user behavior. This includes simulating expected peak loads and potential spike situations.
Configure the Test Environment: Ensure the testing environment closely mirrors the production environment to obtain accurate results.
Execute Tests: Run load, stress, and other performance tests based on defined scenarios.
Analyze Results and Identify Bottlenecks: Review the results to pinpoint any performance issues. Pay attention to metrics like response time, throughput, and error rates.
Optimize and Retest: After identifying bottlenecks, collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and run additional tests to validate improvements.
Tools for Effective Performance Testing
Various tools streamline the performance testing process, offering unique features for simulating user loads and gathering performance metrics. Some popular performance testing tools include:
JMeter: A widely used open-source tool for load testing and measuring application performance.
LoadRunner: A commercial tool known for its scalability and ability to simulate thousands of users.
Gatling: An open-source load testing tool ideal for testing web applications.
Apache Bench: A simple, command-line tool that’s efficient for quick performance tests.
Each of these tools has its strengths, allowing testers to choose the best option based on the application’s specific needs and testing environment.
Best Practices for Performance Testing
Test Early and Often: Performance testing shouldn’t be limited to the end of the development cycle. Conduct tests throughout the project to catch and address issues early.
Use Realistic Scenarios: Simulate real-world user behaviors and conditions to make the results as applicable as possible.
Monitor During Tests: Actively monitor resource utilization, error rates, and response times during tests for immediate insights.
Document Findings: Maintain comprehensive documentation on all test results, issues, and optimizations. This is valuable for post-launch support and future improvements.
Conclusion
Performance software testing is more than a technical process — it’s an investment in the quality and success of an application. By rigorously evaluating how software performs under different loads and stress levels, companies can provide users with fast, reliable, and scalable applications that meet and exceed their expectations. Adopting a structured, thorough approach to performance testing ensures that your applications are ready to handle the challenges of real-world demands, paving the way for satisfied users and sustained business growth.
