Nightmare

Last April 12, nahimatay si mama.

Nung kinagabihan kasi nagluto si mama ng tortang alamang, tapos yun din inalmusal niya kinabukasan.

Akala ko highblood siya kasi sabi niya yung pakiramdam daw e parang high blood siya, nahihilo siyang ewan. So nagpabili ako ng pineapple juice, dapat nga ako ang bibili pero ayaw ni mama wag ko daw siya iwan. So ayun di ko nga siya iniwan, tapos yun dumating na si pineapple. Kinontak ko na din mga kamaganak ko kasi di ko talaga alam gagawin. Sobrang weak pa rin ni mama nun, tuloy tuloy pa rin suka niya. Uminom siya ng losartan tapos sinuka niya din. Nagtae na din siya. Tapos saka lang dumating pinsan ko na may dalang bp apparatus. Doon ko lang nalaman na sobrang baba ng bp ni mama. Maling mali na uminom siya nung pineapple juice at losartan (sinuka niya naman yung losartan e). 

So ayun sobra na kong nagpapanic kasi ako yung nagbbp sakanya kahit first time ko humawak ng bp apparatus noon (yung digital). Sobrang baba talaga ng bp niya so vinerify ko nung nibp ko sarili ko, normal naman yung akin. So totoo ngang mababa yung bp ni mama.

Nakahiga na siya noon nung pinagpahinga ko siya nung nagpumilit siyang pumuntang cr kasi natatae na daw siya. Tapos ayun e di bumangon siya tapos inalalayan ko. Dun siya nahimatay nung pagtayo niya. Sumisigaw na ko pero walang naakyat samin. Imagine daming tao sa bahay pag gabi pero nung time na yun dalawa lang kami. Sobrang nataranta ako kasi nahimatay nga siya. Sinasasampal ko na siya magising lang. Tapos nung nagising sabi niya pa “Bakit ka nasigaw?” Tangina mawawalan na ko ng bait nung sinabi niya yun. So ayun pinagpahinga ko muna siya saka ko siya inalalayan magpupu. Hinayaan naman niya na bantayan ko siya.

Tapos nung nakahiga na siya, tinaas niya yung paa niya para daw magcirculate yung dugo. Nung nibp ko siya after non, mejo umokey na yung bp niya. Bumaba ng sobra ulit bp niya nung inelevate namin upper body niya. So balik ulit siya sa pagtaas ng paa. 

Sa sobrang taranta ko, di ko naisip na ikontak yung kamaganak naming nurse. Doon ko lang naisip na tawagan siya. Sobrang tinatagan ko lang sarili ko na wag umiyak sa harap ni mama kahit inaatake na ko ng panic attack ko non. Habang kausap yung kamaganak naming nurse, pinipilit ko na di umiyak. So ayun kinausap niya si mama, kinamusta. Don ko lang nalaman na baka daw na food poison siya sa kinain niyang tortang alamang. Masama na daw pala kainin yung itlog na mula pa kagabi. Buti daw naisuka niya lahat.

Ayaw rin ni mama magpasugod sa ospital.

Nung buong maghapon na yon, ayaw niya kumain kasi isusuka niya lang daw. So nagpabili siya nung hydrite. So ayun naman naglagay kmi dalawang sachet sa isang litrong tubig. Yun yung ininom niya maghapon na yun. Sobrang ang sakit sa puso kasi yung ichura ni mama nun bagsak talaga katawan niya tapos ang lalim ng mata. Ganun pala epekto pag wala siya kinain maghapon.

Hinayaan ko siya magpahinga nung hapon na yun, minomonitor ko din mayat maya yung bp niya. Sobrang nakakataranta talaga pag nabagsak bp niya.

Nung kinahapunan, kaya na daw niya, nagpacheckup kagad kami sa Our Lady of Peace. Tapos pagdating doon, normal na yung bp niya and sabi nung nurse nakakausap naman siya ng maayos kaya no need na iemergency kasi medyo mahal daw magpalab.

So umuwi na kami. Sobrang nakakakaba pag nanlalamig si mama tapos nagdidilaw yung mata, gusto niya pa nga mamalengke pero pinagpahinga ko muna siya.

Kahapon nagpalab na siya. Ngayon namin nakuha results. Based sa numbers thru normal ranges vs results, ang mataas sakanya is bun, creatinine, at uric acid. Ang explain nung nurse nming kamaganak e baka daw mataas yung creatinine is baka naoverdose kami don sa ininom niyang hydrite bakit daw dalawang sachet sa isang bote. Di ko talaga alam yun, sinabi lang ni mama na dalawang sachet sa isang bote (isang litro). Kaya siguro abnormal yung results na nakuha sa bun, creatinine, at uric. Pero syempre icoconfirm pa namin to sa doctor bukas pag nagpacheckup si mama. Tapos sa blood chem naman niya, total cholesterol yung out of range, mataas. Icoconfirm lahat to bukas.

Nakakatorete. Mas nakakatorete pala pag walang enough emergency fund. At walang hawak na pera. Ito mga natutunan ko:

1.Magipon para sa emergency fund

2.Dapat laging may available na pera na madaling hugutin pag kailangan

3.Mahirap na magisa si mama sa bahay 

4.Wag manghula ng gagawin. Dapat dinala kagad sa ospital pag di na maganda nangyayari.

5. Dapat may BP apparatus na kami at regular na minomonitor bp ni mama

6.Dapat mind over matter lagi. Mahirap magpadala sa emosyon. Dapat utak pinapagana especially sa emergency situations
