Ryder-Desmond was Chris Andrews a.k.a. Kris Ryder + Andy Desmond. They’d been collaborating for a few years, and their combined careers intersected with Roger Daltrey, David Essex, The Kinks, and other notables. The Ryder-Desmond duo had obvious potential, and they worked well together on Kris Ryder’s 1979 solo LP, but as a duo they lasted for but one single (now highly collectible). Andy later became a musical yoga master and changed his name to Miten.
