Forbidden - Part 6
In which Maxie shows you just how much he missed you.
Warnings: smuttttttttty ;) minors DNI pls. Swearing. umm...that's it? idk, I'm terrible with warnings, let me know if I'm forgetting something. Quick note: Almost there love bugs! I think we'll have one more after this and then maybe an epilogue. I almost don't want this one to enddddddd wah. Pairing: Max Verstappen x LeClercSister!reader Word Count: 3k words
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Master List
“I have something for you.” Max rasps the moment you’re in his arms again behind the closed door of his hotel room.
Nerves have his hands shaking as they fist handfuls of your black cotton t-shirt. The entire ride up to the 10th floor of the hotel, he had been having an internal battle with himself. He couldnt believe you were here, slotted back into his life after weeks apart and he didn’t want to do something to scare you off again but…
“You do?” You give him a puzzled look. What on earth could he possibly have for you, he didn’t know you were coming.
Max nods, releasing you for the first time since he took you into his arms in the lobby. “I got it weeks ago…I’ve been carrying it with me ever since…” He pauses, gaze darting away for just a moment, “that day, just in case you came back to me when I wasn’t expecting it. I wanted to be prepared.” He rubs at the back of his neck, eyes dropping from yours to the floor. Your insides melt at his sudden tender shyness.
You smile over at Max, who’s begun digging in his navy and yellow Red Bull Racing backpack. “You didn’t have to get me anything, Maxie.”
He nods, a soft sound of satisfaction playing on his lips when he finds what he’s bene looking for. “I know.” He says, turning around to face you.
Your stomach drops to your toes when you see the baby blue bag dangling from his finger tips. “Maxie.” His name is a warning, your heart thumping against your rib cage.
“It’s not a ring, schatje.” He says on a chuckle, taking a baby blue box tied with a white satin ribbon out of the bag when you make no moves to take it out of his hands. “Not yet anyway.”
There goes your stomach back down to your toes again.
When you’ve composed yourself, you reach out to take the box from Max. “I was going to give it to you the day Charles found out about us but obviously that never happened. It’s just something small, to remind you of me when we can’t be together.”
Trembling fingers tug at the ribbon as your eyes dart up to Max’s anxious face and then back down to the box. Nestled in the box is a delicate gold chain with 2 pendants on it: a block M and a block V, both with 3 tiny diamonds inlaid on the edge of each letter. “Max.” You whisper, tears pricking at the back of your eyes once again.
Max’s hands wring together in front of you, his face still anxious despite the smile spreading across your face. You look up at him, chest squeezing tightly. “This is the best gift I’ve ever gotten. Thank you.”
“You like it?”
“I love it.” You coo, lifting the chain up out of the box before holding it out to him. “Will you put it on me?”
Spinning, you capture your hair up in one hand while waiting patiently for Max to get his shaking hands under control. The cool chain sends a shiver skittering down your spine, a small sigh escaping your lips at the feeling of Max’s strong fingers brushing against your skin.
When the necklace is secured, you turn back around to wrap your arms around his neck, lips dusting first over his jaw before working your way up to his lips. Those lips you’ve missed so much the last few weeks. You couldn’t believe how stupid you had been to push him away when he so obviously wanted to be there for you, wanted to support you. Regret has your cheeks heating, shame budding in your stomach.
Max must sense the shift in your mood because he pulls away before looking down at you, brows knit together. “What’s wrong, schatje?”
You shake your head, unable to get the words out.
“Please tell me.” He begs.
“I just…” A cry lodges in your throat and your unable to speak around it for a moment.
Max leads you over to the love seat on the other side of the room, needing to solve this sudden problem before anything else. He sits first before pulling you into his lap, cradling you against his chest. His lips find his favorite place on you, that spot in the crook of your neck where your perfume lingers for hours. “Talk to me, baby.”
“I’m sorry I pushed you away. I shouldn’t have. You wanted to help, you did nothing but help and I still threw you out.” For what feels like the millionth time that day, tears slip down your cheeks in a steady stream but Max’s lips are there to kiss them away.
“No, sweet girl. No apologies.” His voice is soft, soothing. “You were doing what you thought you needed to do at the time, I could never fault you for that. I’m just glad you came back to me.”
“I love you, Maxie.” You murmur, face buried in his hair as he continues to nibble at your neck.
Max has never heard sweeter words, not even when Christian told him he had won the championship for the first time. “I love you too, liefje.” He pulls away from your neck then, causing you to whimper a bit in protest, but he needed to see your face for what he was about to say next. “I was planning on asking you to be my girlfriend that night too, which I kind of fucked up but I hope that’s still on the table for us. I want to go public. No more secrets, no more lies. I want you next to me in the paddock, in my garage during races, wearing my colors and my number. All in, everything. I need that with you.”
There’s a look of unbridled desire on Max’s face, like he’s been waiting for this very moment for months now and he’s finally worked up the courage to put words to his feelings. Your hands come up to frame his face, delicate fingers scratching his scruffy face gently. “Bien sur, mon amor.” Of course, my love. “I’ve been yours since the first time we kissed.”
Max covers your lips in a kiss then, fingers digging into your hips in a desperate attempt to bring you closer to him. He’d gone too long without being able to touch you and he wants to make up for all the time lost. With one swift movement, Max lifts you up out of his lap and carries you across the room to his bed. The way he sets you down on the crisp white hotel duvet has your heart squeezing.
“I missed you so much, liefje.” Max’s voice drops an octave, husky and full of need. “Let me show you how much.”
“Sil vous plait.” Please You breathe.
Shaking hands slip up underneath the hem of your cream linen dress, the rough pads of his fingers drawing out a moan from your lips as they skim over the creamy soft skin of your thighs. They find their home underneath the layer of lace that is already halfway ruined from the slick mess that’s been gathering there since Max got you alone.
“God, you are exquisite.” He murmurs as he brings his lips to cover yours in a searing kiss that is all tender promises and whispered apologies.
His fingers swipe past your clit, not quite giving you the pressure and friction you crave, but just enough to make you needy. There’s plenty of time for that though and Max wants to make sure this is as drawn out as possible. He has so much to say with his mouth and hands to you tonight and he wants everything to inch by in a slow, heated drip of steady pleasure.
Needing to be closer to him and wanting out of the suddenly restricting fabric, you sit up momentarily, unbuttoning the dress as quickly as humanly possible. Max helps, starting at the bottom of the dress and you instantly miss his touch on you. Neither of you are willing to break the kiss, so it’s a little fumbled and a lot messy as you attempt to get yourself out of the clothes you flew here in.
“Need to see you wearing nothing but my necklace.” He pants.
While you’re busy unbuttoning the dress, Max reaches behind his back to pull his team polo off. You hum in appreciation, reaching out to drag your slender fingers over the bumps and ridges of his stomach. A thrill shoots though you when he shivers at your touch, heated gaze pinning you to the bed.
Slowly guiding you down onto your back, Max drapes himself over your body, fitting his thigh between your legs. Your skin heats as you run your hands through his hair, guiding his mouth down the column of your neck. His mouth stalls, taking his time to nip and suck at the fragile skin there. Max barely resists the urge to suck a love bite onto your neck, knowing that you would murder him if he did that before tomorrow’s race. There will be time for that, he reminds himself. There will be time for him to mark you as his own in places that others will see. For now, he’ll settle for marking you in places that are only for him.
He drags a heated, wet line with his tongue from your neck, stopping once again to lap against your collar bone and the hollow of your throat. His mouth sucks at the racing pulse point there, a thrill shooting straight to his already hard cock at how fast your heart is beating because of him.
“Max.” You whine, grinding your hips up into his muscled thigh that sits slotted between your legs, desperate for friction and relief from the pounding pulse between your legs. “God I missed your hands on me. Your touch. Everything.” You probably should be embarrassed with how needy and breathless your plea comes out, but shame has been left at the door for tonight. All you need are Max’s hands on you and his cock in you, and you swear you’d be content for the rest of your entire existence.
Max grips at the flesh of your hips, desperate to get any sort of purchase on your body. His mouth continues it’s perusal of your now slick skin and when he covers one already achingly hard nipple, you can’t help the cry that leaves your lips. His tongue flicks over the pebbled bit of flesh before nipping at it with the very tips of his teeth. Your hips snap up off the bed, bumping his hips with your own at the feeling that boarders somewhere between earth shattering pleasure and mind numbing pain.
Fingers get lost in his hair as Max moves to pay attention to the other nipple, equally as hard and needy for his tongue. The sounds of near purring that rumble at the back of your throat send Max into orbit as he rocks his painfully hard cock into the soft mattress beneath him. “Taste so good.” He slurs against your body, hands raking up your legs once again finding themselves buried in your dripping pussy.
It’s too much. Much too much. The overstimulation of his mouth and hands all over you has you puddled in a whimpering, sodden mess under this man that is supposed to be all wrong for you.
“I love you like this.” His voice is husky, dragging itself across your skin like the fingers that are currently buried deep inside you. “All messy and needy, all for me. Only for me.” A possessive streak shoots through Max, suddenly needing you to know that this is only for him. You’re his. You will always be his. He nearly lost you once and he’ll never run the risk of losing you ever again.
“Only for you.” You confirm, hips grinding deep against the thick fingers that are coaxing you to what you can only predict will be a syrupy sweet release. “Only for you from now on. God, Max your touch…so good.” The ability to form coherent sentences seems to have escaped you.
Your head thrashes to the side, the vulnerability of being so open for him in so many ways is overwhelming. Being so intensely seen by this man above you is almost too much to take.
“Are you going to come for me, schatje? Come on my fingers, pretty girl. Show me how much you missed me and how much I possess you.”
The sound of Max’s voice is enough to send you over the edge, that familiar lick of fire building itself up at the base of your spine. You feel it start and so does Max, that familiar sign of your hands grasping for anything they can reach, this time it’s his back. He’ll gladly be marked up with red welts and scratches if it means he gets you beneath him like this every fucking night for the rest of his life. Your climax rips through you, stealing your breath for a quick moment before you come, Max’s name tumbling from your lips over and over like a reverent prayer.
“That’s it, love. So good, you’re so good for me. Such a pretty girl giving me exactly what I want. God, how did I get so fucking lucky? Why did I wait so long?”
Max talks you through the rest of your orgasm, shockwaves of pleasure lancing through you for so long you start to lose track of time. It could be 5 minutes or 5 hours, but eventually, you’re back down to earth, feeling so languid and soft you don’t think you could move even if your life depended on it.
“Max.” You breath, pulling at his shoulders to get his head level with yours so you can get your mouth on him again. You lick into his mouth, teeth bumping against him in a desperate messy kiss that promises everything under the stars.
“What do you need, schatje? Tell me what you want and it’s yours.”
“I need you inside me. I need to be stuffed full of you so I never forget what you feel like ever again.”
Before you’re able to even take another breath, Max’s jeans and boxers have joined the heap of clothing on the floor and the head of his dick, red and angry and dripping for you already, is notched against your waiting pussy. When he sinks into you, filling you up so deliciously, it feels like your first night together all over again. You’re overwhelmed by the size of him, the feel of him deep inside you, filling you up beyond words.
For several moments, neither of you move. Max holds himself steady above you writhing form, already buried in you to the hilt, refusing to move until he knows you’re okay. A series of quick nods tells him you’re fine and slowly, so very slowly you almost can’t feel it, Max begins to move. It’s slow at first, as he tries to draw out the pleasure from your body like he’s playing a stringed instrument. Long, silky movements from his achingly hard cock seem to war with each other, the contrast between the rhythm and his dick send delightful shimmers of energy up and down your skin.
Max can barely catch his breath, not fully understanding how you can be so soft and warm and breathtakingly tight all at the same time. The feeling of being buried in you might just be the best thing he’s ever experienced. He could probably spend the rest of his life worshipping your body like this and it still wouldn’t be enough to satisfy his craving of your body. He gazes down at you, the look of reverence on his face has tears pricking at the corner of your eyes, as he continues to push in and out of you. One moment he’s nearly fully out of your slick wetness and the next, he’s plunging back in, taking fully from you what he knows is his now.
“Come inside me Max. Fill me up, please.” Your desperate words are enough to have Max’s hips snapping harshly against your body over and over. His tight hold of control he usually has over his body slowly breaking underneath your spell.
“My pretty girl needs me to fill her, huh? Need the cum leaking out of you, down that pretty thigh of yours, to remind you who you belong to?”
All you can do is nod, your entire consciousness consumed with him, the way he feels, the smell of his cologne that lingers on his skin that mixes with his sweat, creating a dizzyingly pleasurable mix of something you’ll never forget.
Max feels that familiar painful warning sign deep in his stomach. He’s not going to last much longer and by the sounds you’re making beneath him, he knows you’re already there. His mouth latches to yours, stealing the cry from your lips and swallowing it whole. The vice grip those velvet walls snare him in when you come sends him hurtling towards his own release. Max isn’t usually very loud, he loves to talk you through it yes, but when it comes to his own pleasure? He’s quite reserved. But he can’t help the animalistic groan that starts deep in his gut rumbles out of him as he spills into you, white hot streams shooting deep inside you.
Max collapses on top of you and you relish the feeling of something like a giant weighted blanked settling over your frame. Utterly spent, Max isn’t even able to form a coherent sentence for several moments, instead choosing to focus on the wild racing of your heart beneath his body.
“Told you I missed you.” Max says, breath tickling the shell of your ear, eliciting a giggle from your swollen lips.
You rake your hands through his hair for what feels like the fiftieth time that night, tugging gently as you comb through the blond locks. “I missed you too, mon coeur.”
That’s what Max was too. Your entire heart.

â…°â…°â…°. finding the jewellery for you
â–¸ Oval Face Shape:
Earrings: Oval faces can wear almost any style. Long dangles, hoops, and studs all work well. Avoid overly long earrings that can elongate the face further.
Necklaces: Short necklaces, chokers, and collars can complement your balanced proportions.
â–¸ Round Face Shape:
Earrings: Opt for long, dangling earrings or angular shapes like rectangles and trapezoids to add length and define the face.
Necklaces: Long necklaces and V-shaped pendants can help elongate your face.
â–¸ Square Face Shape:
Earrings: Choose earrings with curves, such as hoops or rounded designs, to soften your angles. Long drop earrings work well, too.
Necklaces: Long necklaces with pendants or shapes that elongate and add curves, like teardrops, are ideal.
â–¸ Rectangular (Oblong) Face Shape:
Earrings: Choose studs, shorter dangles, or chandelier styles to add width and balance your face length.
Necklaces: Chokers and shorter necklaces can help shorten the appearance of your face.
â–¸ Heart Face Shape:
Earrings: Look for earrings that are wider at the bottom than the top, like teardrops and chandeliers, to balance the narrow chin.
Necklaces: Short necklaces, chokers, or necklaces with a curved shape to balance your chin and draw attention upward.
â–¸ Diamond Face Shape:
Earrings: Choose earrings that are wider than they are long, like studs or short dangles. Teardrop and curved designs work well.
Necklaces: Choose shorter necklaces or chokers to soften the angles of your face and add width to your jawline.
â–¸ Triangle (Pear) Face Shape:
Earrings: Opt for earrings that add width to the upper part of your face, like chandeliers, teardrops, or other designs that are wider at the top.
Necklaces: Look for necklaces with intricate details or bold designs to draw attention away from the jawline and add balance to your face.

â–¸ Warm Undertones
Characteristics: Yellow, peachy, or golden undertones. Veins may appear greenish.
Best Metal:
Gold: Yellow, rose, and even bronze gold tones work wonderfully with warm undertones. They enhance the natural warmth of your skin.
â–¸ Cool Undertones
Characteristics: Pink, red, or blue undertones. Veins may appear bluish or purple.
Best Metal:
Silver: Sterling silver, white gold, and platinum are ideal for cool undertones. These metals complement the cool hues in your skin.
â–¸ Neutral Undertones
Characteristics: A mix of both warm and cool undertones. Veins may appear bluish-green.
Best Metal:
Gold or Silver: People with neutral undertones have the flexibility to wear both gold and silver. Both metals will complement your skin tone, so you can choose based on your outfit or personal preference.
â–¸ Olive Undertones
Characteristics: A combination of green and yellow undertones, often giving the skin a slightly greenish cast.
Best Metal:
Gold and Silver: Olive undertones can generally wear both gold and silver. However, gold (both yellow and rose) can enhance the warm aspect of olive skin, while silver can bring out cool, greenish hues. Experiment with both to see which you prefer.
â–¸ Additional Tips:
Mixing Metals: Don't be afraid to mix gold and silver. This works especially well if you have neutral or olive undertones.
Skin Tone Changes: Your skin tone can change with the seasons (e.g. getting more tanned in summer), so you might find that different metals suit you better at different times of the year.
XOXO

~ "Pendant, circa 1890, France - Mellerio dit Mellers. The pendant is made in yellow gold with silver reinforcement. A frame of old cut diamonds surmounted by a crown, holds a conspicuous imperial topaz. The uniqueness of the item lies in the fact that the topaz was engraved and enamelled with a portrait of the Virgin with Child. The image, made in extremely fine multi-coloured enamels painted on gold, is further embellished by diamond roses and tiny precious stones. Below this there is a degradé of natural drop pearls." ~

PHOTOSHOOT: FOAM MAGAZINE
If there was a way to sum up the "Electra Heart" era in fashion — I think this shot did the job
On July 7th, 2012 Marina Diamandis was photographed by JUCO for Foam magazine in Los Angeles. Glam by Amy Chance, hair by Aaron Light and manicure by Michelle Saunders.
Tumblr media
Simple as it may be, this is precisely the look, the beauty, and the styling I would have selected for this shot. Powerful in its stark simplicity.
For our first look, she wore this lime-colored slip dress ($295.00 - sold out) with contrasting black lace details from Emerson's Fall/Winter 2012 collection.
Tumblr media
Jeweller Erica Courtney seems to have been assigned as the official bauble provider for this editorial, as Marina dons several of her pieces such as these white pearl, yellow-gold and diamond drop earrings ($31,700.00 - sold out).
Tumblr media
For the next set of photos, Marina is posing on a bed while wearing Aussie label SHAKUHACHI's mint-green and pink lace block cut-out dress ($525.00 - sold out).
Tumblr media
As in jewelry, the Greek-Welsh beauty rocked a pair of Jared Jamin's green flower and pearl drop earrings ($220.00 - sold out), along with Erica Courtney's platinum and diamond white pearl fancy charm necklaces ($10,000.00 - sold out) and 18k gold and diamond London blue topaz Zoey ring ($7,200.00 - sold out).
Tumblr media
Marina completed her girly ensemble with these to-die-for metallic green penny loafer pumps ($275.00 - sold out) by Fornarina.
Tumblr media
This retro-inspired look includes a vintage beaded and fringed cream pencil dress which was paired with the stylist's own sheer silk scarf and jewelry by Erica Courtney which included the Super Cool gold coin charm bracelet ($20,000.00 - sold out) and Pillow Top ring ($19,000.00 - sold out).
Tumblr media
My favorite look of this editorial includes Marina wearing these apple-green and purple cut-out lenses – fruit of the collaboration from Prabal Gurung and Linda Farrow for Prabal's Spring/Summer 2012 runway!
Tumblr media
I wasn't able to ID her outfit down but Marina wears yet another stunning design by Erica Courtney. On her, we can spot a blue topaz version of these romantic chandelier earrings with diamonds.
Tumblr media
For the penultimate look, Marina posed outside while wearing her stylist's own beaded vintage cardigan on top of a vintage white silk blouse, and vintage grey leather daisies-embroidered belt sourced at Modern Vintage Today.
Her white and black polka-dot organza circle skirt ($450.00) was created by emerging designer House of Ronald.
Tumblr media
This very feminine look was further enhanced with the Serefina Dagger stud earrings ($50.00 - sold out) and her aforementioned Fornarina pumps.
Tumblr media
For the final look, things get bright and pink with this SHAKUHACHI neon-pink poplin blouse ($263.00 - sold out) which Marina paired with a vintage rose lace pencil skirt from Hot Mess Vintage.
Tumblr media
The jewelry for this look is by none other than Erica Courtney and featured the namesake Erica diamond stud earrings ($11,000 - sold out) and Shayne pearl and diamond pendant necklace ($44,000 - sold out).
Tumblr media
Last but definitely not least, Marina completed the look with these Kurt Geiger Spring/Summer 2012 white and pink perforated leather platform wedges!

Belle Époque Guilloche Enamel Diamond Pearl Pendant or Brooch
$20,991.56
An exquisite, rare and fine Belle Epoque pendant in 18 carat gold and platinum, circa 1900 with a detachable brooch fitting.
18 carat gold and platinum set heart shaped centre with a diamond foliate overlay on engine turned, pale blue, translucent Guilloché enamel with a natural salt water pearl drop.
Four principle diamonds, late Victorian Old Cut (Old Mine) approx 0.45 carat total. Rose cut diamonds in a foliate, millegrain border and bow settings approx 0.55 carat total.
Total diamond weight: approx 1.00 carats, F-H colour and VS1-SI1 (approx).
In the early 20th century Platinum was an extremely rare metal and was only just beginning to be used in jewellery. Before whole pieces were made in platinum, they used the same technique as they had used in the Georgian/Victorian period with silver setting. Silver Set was a technique whereby a very thin layer of silver was applied on top of the gold, to which the diamonds were set, in order to show them off to their best advantage (as the yellow colour of the gold would reflect and refract the light, thereby, distorting the white colour of the diamonds).
Belle Epoque
“La Belle Epoque” was a period of European history from the end of the 19th Century to the first decade of the 20th Century.
It was a period characterized by the optimism of regional peace and economic prosperity. This led to many technological, scientific and cultural innovations and where the arts flourished especially in Paris, France. It was a golden age where many masterpieces of art, literature, music, theatre were created.
Belle Epoque jewellery has a distinctive appearance with soft, curved shapes and lines and often enhanced with foliate swags and bows. Jewellery designers often experimented with a wide variety of new techniques, among others enamelling and the use of guilloche enamel.
Guilloché is a technique where metal is decorated with a pattern of engravings, mechanically by engine turning. Translucent enamel is then applied over the engraving giving the enamel depth and adding texture to the piece. This art form was popularised by Peter Carl Fabergé in the 1880s when he utilised it to beautiful effect on his pieces including the famous Fabergé eggs.
Dimensions:
Width (at widest) 23 mm / 2.3 cm / 7/8” (0.91 Inches)
Length (of pendant) 23 mm / 2.3 cm / 7/8” (0.91 Inches)
Length (including top loop and pearl drop) 47 mm / 4.7 cm / 1 13/16” (1.85 Inches)
Chain length 44 cm (17” Inches) approx
In fitted period box. Detachable 18ct brooch fitting.

How to Match Your Bridal Jewelry with Your Wedding Dress
Bridal Jewelry Canada offers endless options for creating the perfect look on your wedding day. Selecting jewelry that complements your wedding dress is crucial in achieving a cohesive and stunning bridal appearance. With careful consideration, you can choose pieces that enhance your gown, highlight your style, and ensure every detail aligns beautifully. This detailed guide will help you make confident and informed choices.
1. Consider the Neckline of Your Wedding Dress
The neckline of your dress is the most critical factor in determining what type of jewelry will suit your overall look. Jewelry should frame and enhance the neckline, not compete with it.
Strapless or Sweetheart Neckline
Why It Matters: These necklines leave much open space around the neck and chest, making them ideal for statement pieces.
Best Choices:
A statement necklace like a choker or collar adds glamour.
Opt for a delicate pendant or a thin chain with a small gemstone for a softer look.
Drop earrings or studs can provide balance without overcrowding the neckline.
Pro Tip: Ensure the necklace rests above the dress's fabric for a polished look.
V-Neck or Plunging Neckline
Why It Matters: The "V" shape naturally draws attention downward, so a necklace that follows this line complements the neckline beautifully.
Best Choices:
A pendant necklace that mimics the "V" shape.
Layered necklaces for a trendy yet elegant appearance.
Teardrop or dangling earrings to elongate the look.
Pro Tip: Avoid overpowering the neckline by choosing slim and balanced pieces.
High Neckline
Why It Matters: High necklines don't leave room for necklaces, so focus on other areas for accessorizing.
Best Choices:
Statement earrings like chandeliers or geometric designs.
A cuff bracelet or bangles to add sparkle to your wrists.
Hair accessories like embellished pins or a jewelled headband.
Pro Tip: Keep the jewelry sleek and modern for a balanced aesthetic.
Off-the-Shoulder Neckline
Why It Matters: This style beautifully highlights the shoulders and collarbones, creating a perfect opportunity for a bold necklace.
Best Choices:
A collar necklace or a dainty choker.
Medium-length drop earrings to complement the open neckline.
A subtle bracelet to keep the look balanced.
Pro Tip: Avoid long necklaces that clutter the neckline.
Halter or One-Shoulder Neckline
Why It Matters: These asymmetrical styles don't pair well with necklaces, so focus on other areas.
Best Choices:
Statement earrings or hoops for a dramatic effect.
A sleek bracelet or bold cocktail ring for added sparkle.
Pro Tip: Use decorative hair accessories to add dimension without clashing.
2. Match Your Jewelry to the Dress Style
The overall design of your dress—whether traditional, contemporary, vintage, or bohemian—sets the tone for your jewelry.
Modern Dresses
Jewelry Style: Opt for clean, minimalist designs with geometric shapes.
Metals: White gold, platinum, or silver.
Stones: Diamonds or clear gemstones for a sleek and polished finish.
Pro Tip: Stick to one or two jewelry pieces to avoid over-accessorizing.
Vintage Dresses
Jewelry Style: Heirloom-inspired pieces with intricate details like filigree or floral patterns.
Metals: Rose gold or yellow gold for a warm, nostalgic feel.
Stones: Pearls or antique-cut diamonds.
Pro Tip: Look for jewelry that complements the gown's lace, embroidery, or other vintage elements.
Bohemian Dresses
Jewelry Style: Layered necklaces, nature-inspired designs, or pieces with earthy gemstones like turquoise or moonstone.
Metals: Gold or mixed-metal designs.
Pro Tip: Add floral or leafy hair accessories for a cohesive boho look.
Minimalist Dresses
Jewelry Style: Understated elegance with small stud earrings or a thin bracelet.
Metals: Platinum or white gold.
Stones: A single diamond or gemstone for a touch of sparkle.
Pro Tip: Less is more—let the dress's and jewelry's simplicity speak for itself.
3. Complement the Color of Your Wedding Dress
The shade of your gown influences which metals and gemstones will enhance your overall appearance.
White Dresses
Best Metals: Silver, white gold, or platinum.
Best Stones: Pearls or diamonds for a clean, classic look.
Pro Tip: Avoid yellow gold as it may clash with the bright white tone.
Ivory Dresses
Best Metals: Yellow gold or rose gold to warm the soft tones.
Best Stones: Creamy pearls or champagne diamonds for added warmth.
Pro Tip: Vintage-inspired jewelry works particularly well with ivory gowns.
Champagne Dresses
Best Metals: Gold or bronze tones.
Best Stones: Topaz, citrine, or champagne-colored diamonds.
Pro Tip: Avoid overly bright metals overpowering the dress's earthy hue.
Blush Dresses
Best Metals: Rose gold for a romantic feel.
Best Stones: Morganite or soft pink gemstones to complement the blush tones.
Pro Tip: Keep the look light and airy to avoid overshadowing the delicate colour.
4. Balance Jewelry with Dress Embellishments
Your gown's level of detail should dictate your jewelry's complexity.
Heavily Embellished Dresses
Why It Matters: Dresses with lace, beading, or embroidery only need a little additional sparkle.
Best Choices: Minimalist jewelry like stud earrings or a simple bracelet.
Pro Tip: Focus on quality over quantity—one statement piece is often enough.
Simple Dresses
Why It Matters: A plain dress provides the perfect canvas for bold and expressive jewelry.
Best Choices: Chunky necklaces, chandelier earrings, or colourful gemstones.
Pro Tip: Feel free to experiment with texture and layers.
5. Coordinate with Your Hairstyle
Your hairstyle will frame your face and impact how your jewelry is perceived.
Updos: Pair with statement earrings or a bold necklace.
Loose Waves: Choose drop earrings or delicate studs.
Short Hair: Emphasize earrings or add a decorative hair comb.
Half-Up Styles: Highlight the neckline with a necklace and use small hairpins for extra sparkle.
6. Stay True to Your Style
While guidelines are helpful, your bridal jewelry should reflect your unique personality.
If you love bold statement pieces, integrate them into your look, even if your dress is simple.
For those who prefer subtlety, opt for small and meaningful pieces that feel comfortable and natural.
7. Test the Comfort and Practicality
You'll wear your jewelry for hours, so ensure every piece feels comfortable and secure.
Avoid heavy earrings that could cause discomfort.
Check that bracelets don't snag on your gown or veil.
Ensure necklaces lay flat and don't shift throughout the day.
Conclusion
Matching your bridal jewelry with your wedding dress is about creating harmony between your accessories, gown, and personal style. Whether you're drawn to classic pearls, sparkling diamonds, or unique gemstones, your bridal jewelry Canada collection offers the perfect pieces to enhance your wedding day look. By considering the neckline, dress style, colour, and embellishments, you can craft a balanced look that will leave you feeling confident and radiant as you walk down the aisle.

Choosing the Perfect Jewellery for Your Every Outfit
Tumblr media
Jewellery can put life into an outfit; it can give personality, elegance, and a touch of sophistication. However, often finding the right pieces to complement your look is so strenuous, especially with all those available styles and options. You don't go to a formal event, casual wear, or create your own personal style, but you want this harmony of ornaments that would uplift your look. In the following steps, we'll explain the most important factors for making decisions when choosing jewellery so that you can look well put together and harmonized.
Reflect on the Occasion Consider the occasion of the event. You have jewelry suitable for specific events and settings. For instance, formal weddings, business meetings, or cocktail parties call for a classic, understated approach in jewellery. This may even be a pair of diamond studs, sleek bracelet, or delicate pendant. So that, if it is worn, it adds an air of elegance but does not crowd or knock the outfit into one scene.
Casual or celebratory events offer a bit of wiggle room to get creative with statement pieces. Go bold and bolder: bold earrings, layered necklaces, chunky bracelets-that can be made out in your personal style and celebration of a playful or glamorous look. Think of it this way: you're probably going to want pieces that have a little sparkle and color when attending a festive event, just like the event itself.
Merge Metals with Color Palette Coordinate the metal with the color palette of your outfit in order to blend and produce a refined overall look. The golden rule suggests that a warm metal, such as gold, should be coordinated with warm tones-such as reds, yellows, earth tones like brown and olive green. Such colors generally look good with gold jewellery to result in a harmonious and polished look.
Cool tones are enhanced by silver or platinum particularly to blue, purple, or grays and black. The cool, reflective quality of silver has a great complementing effect, causing vibrancy to these colors while bringing modern sophistication. Don't be afraid to use mix and match metals within yourself, but do it sparingly and thoughtfully. For instance, mixing gold and silver may add interest and glamour if your outfit is either neutral or is monochromatic in nature. Most stores, including even the best jewellery store in Haridwar, offer you metals from which you can try different combinations. This way, you can find your perfect combination to represent your style.
Necklines for Balance The neckline of your clothing will determine the type and extent of your neckpiece. The sort of necklace which falls in unison rather than in competition with your neckline will add the totality of your outfit.
V-necklines: For V-neck tops or dresses, you should use a necklace that mirrors the angle, such as a pendant or one with a drop detail. High neckline: High necklines or turtlenecks really can wear long necklaces because these make an elongated effect and do not clutter the neckline. Off-the-shoulder: Off-the-shoulder tops or dresses are perfect for choker-style necklaces or short, delicate chains that play around the collarbone area. Scoop necklines: Scoop or rounded necklines are very versatile. They do pretty well with short necklaces or layered pieces, but the depth added is not overwhelming to the outfit. If you still have doubts, take your outfit to the jewelry store for a quick try-on. Many top stylists, like the best jewellery store in Haridwar, will be able to tell you what would suit the curve of your neckline.
Outfit Patterns and Textures Balance is important when combining pieces of jewelry with patterned or textured clothing. Busy patterns and bold textures can sometimes overpower intricate or statement jewellery and end up giving a visual clutter of a look. Simple, minimalist pieces are best when it comes to enhancing rather than competing with the print of printed garments. For example, an understated floral patterned dress can do well with simple earrings and an easy-to-match bracelet that aren't the focal point of the look.
On the other hand, solids are always good for statement jewelry because less is more; this allows you to have a one-color dress but an eye-catching necklace or layered bracelets. Consider also the tactile quality of the fabric: thin fabrics like silk or satin tend to go well with equally refined and dignified jewelry, whereas chunkier pieces will go well with heavier fabrics like wool or denim. Whatever you choose to wear or keep with you, will complement each other beautifully because you are balancing out your dressing and jewellery.
Reflects Your Personality While guidelines are useful, jewellery is your personal expression, so it should reflect your unique taste. If you want to go bold and make statement pieces, go for it, no matter how casual the occasion may seem. On the other hand, if you are the minimalist type, pick a few key pieces that resonate with you and make you feel confident.
Experimenting with different styles and blends can help you find what fits you best. Those who are building their style would be highly inspired by visiting one of those stores that have a wide range. Most people discover signature pieces for themselves by going through a range of options at the best jewellery stores, like the best jewellery store in Haridwar, whose experienced staff may be able to give some insights and recommendations based on your preferences.
The liquid nature of personal style also means that it can be okay to try new trends or use a different material. In addition, choosing various styles of jewellery can be a unique look that represents all of one, making an outfit look fresh and special every time.
Conclusion
Perfect jewellery to match any kind of clothes is an art that can be mastered with some easier tips. On this note, consider the occasion, match metals for your color palette, balance your jewels through necklines, and take into account patterns and textures of outfit. Most importantly, remember to let your personal style shine through because jewellery is a reflection of who you are and how you want to express yourself.
For all the jewellery seekers looking for quality jewellery that flatters every style, Guptaji Jewellers is the best jewellery store in Haridwar and comes with a great collection that can fit into any kind of occasion and also personal choice. So, you can get the perfect pieces that will complement your wardrobe while also coming ahead to enhance your style that will surely make you look polished and put-together each time that you head out.

7 Ideas to Choose Your Perfect Wedding Jewellery
Tumblr media
And finally, you found the perfect match for your big day celebrations – your bridal wear. Now, all you need beautiful jewelry to accessorize for that breathtaking wedding day look.
Well, choosing your bridal jewelry from too many options can be daunting and a bit exciting. You have to sort out what fits into your personal style rather than picking out pieces randomly.
In this article, we’ll discuss the key tips and ideas to help you discover the perfect jewelry that will elevate your bridal makeover.
Choose your wedding dress first, jewelry next
Choose your wedding dress before jewelry so you can match your accessories with the details of your dress. Wear simple jewelry if your outfit has stuffed with heavy embroidery, stones and other decorative accents. Make your jewelry and bridal wear complement each other. The right mix will give your wedding day look a fabulous finishing touch.
Less is more
Don’t overdo it. Remember, any Jewelry or accessory you wear is meant to complement your overall look. Wear a few pieces instead of accessorizing the whole part of your body. For instance, if you pick a necklace with more details and heavy stones, avoid earrings or choose simple studs. Make sure that each piece you wear distinctly displays its unique details without mixing it up with the other.
Pair the metal color to your wedding dress
The wrong color contrast could muddle up the details of your wedding dress and jewelry. While most brides prefer to wear a long white gown, platinum and silver metal could be a perfect match with white. If you’re wearing an ivory-themed garment, go for diamond earrings in yellow gold. You can also try matching other options like rose gold to get a more visually appealing color composition.
Necklace that matches your dress Neckline
No doubt necklaces are the highlight of your wedding jewelry. To make your necklace a perfect pick, match it up with the neckline of your wedding dress. If you are going to wear an ornate V-neck gown, prefer a simple V-shaped necklace with a lightweight pendant. On the other hand, if you’re obsessed with a plain, strapless neckline, a statement choker necklace with colorful gemstones could be a perfect match. Find the right necklace that best complements your bridal wear neckline cut.
Find Earrings matching your Hairstyle
From simple studs to the royal chandelier to stylish hoops, you'll have to find the perfect pair of earrings with a synching tone to your face, outfit and most importantly, your hairstyle. For instance, with the hair down, it could be a miss-match if you wear a long dangle or a drop earring. The pieces may lose their details and attention as the chances are to get them covered by your hair. Better prefer simple studs or hoops with an open, down hairstyle. If you are going to pick an up-do hairstyle, a bold chandelier earring could be a perfect match.
Never go out of your personal style
After all, it’s vital to let your overall look reflect your unique style. The wedding gown and jewelry you wear should be a perfect mix to get a look that fits into your everyday look. Don’t make it something different out of your personal preferences. For example, if you’re comfortable with studs or hoop earrings, don’t go for dangles or a chandelier. Stick to your own choices and try to showcase the best of your personal style.
Balancing is everything
To get that perfect wedding day look, you need jewelry matching the details on your custom bridal outfit. Your jewelry would get de-emphasized if you couldn’t balance it with the details of your wedding dress. Wear simple jewelry if you’re wearing a wedding dress with too many embellishments. On the other hand, the jewelry chosen can be more elaborate like a bold statement choker necklace if you pick a bridal gown with the fewest details. Never make it over sparkle or extremely plain, balance the details of your jewelry and dress by mixing them more sensibly and selective.
