I like to liken the relationship between Satan and Lucifer to two sides of the same coin.

Lucifer is Heads, Satan is Tails

Where there is Heads, there is Tails hidden beneath.

Lucifer is Light, Satan is Shadow

Where there is the Light, there is the Shadow that trails behind.

Lucifer is Mind, Satan is Body

Where there is a Mind, there is a Body that works with it.

Lucifer is Refinement, Satan is Suffering

Where there is Refinement, there is the Suffering that shaped it.

Lucifer is the Thought, Satan is the Action

Where there is Thought, there is Action to be taken.

Lucifer is Knowledge, Satan is Power

Where there is Knowledge, there is Power to be wielded.

Both sides are halves of a whole— Working opposite of one another but not in opposition of one another.
