Get to know my character

~ Questions and answers under the cut! ~

10. Is your character more feminine or masculine?

 He’s more of both. He both identifies as male and is physically male, but he has behaviors that one would easily deem as feminine, and a lot of them.

11. What is something that would make your character fly into a rage?

Iwao isn’t a man who easily succumbs to rage. The only known surefire way to make him fly into a rage without fail is harming someone he cares about (whether emotionally, physically, or more) in front of him. It has been demonstrated (in a certain verse) that he will even KILL those who harm someone he cares about without even expressing remorse.

12. Is there some particular talent, skill, or attribute that they simply could not give up?

Photography, hands down. In any verse I have him in, I have to give him some form of photography skill (otherwise he gets upset with me), whether it be physically taking pictures, or even painting.

13. What are your character’s sleeping habits? Heavy or light sleeper? Blanket stealer? One that always rolls onto the floor? Pushes their lover onto the floor? Sleep talker or walker?

He’s a situational heavy sleeper. If he’s exhausted, it takes a good bit of physical movement to actually wake him up, where normally, he’s a pretty light sleeper and will wake up if someone looks at him the right way (or at least it feels like it).

14. Do they live alone or with family? How do they feel about their family/roommates?

Heavily verse dependent. In his Stray Dog verse and Youtuber verse, he lives alone, but in most verses, he lives with family or with roommates. He adores his family and roommates, so he has no issues with them.

15. Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.

Kureto Hiragi. One mention of the man’s name, and Iwao is sure to stop in his tracks. Iwao has a deep-seeded fear of this man, for everything that’s happened between the JIDA and his own family. 

16. Is your character the athletic type or more of a couch potato? What are some sports/games that they like?

He’s a bit of both. Iwao is a very energetic man, and always seems to try and find a way to spend his energy, but he is known to be quite the couch potato from time to time.

17. Does your character have dreams of getting married and/or having children?

Getting married is a rather hard thing for him, seeing as there aren’t exactly weddings after the fall of man. The only children he would consider would be adopted. By no means is it a dream to him, but if the question was ever popped, he would most likely answer yes to his S/O.

18. What kind of home would they want to live in? Where would they place this abode?

Somewhere safe and easily accessible to him and people he cares about. He actually doesn’t really care about the type of place, so long as it can easily hold up, can support itself, and has no real leaks or health hazards. Preferably, the place has to have a substantial amount of space, but he can live otherwise.

19. Would your character be the kind to get into fights? (physical or verbal) Would they be a good fighter or cave in rather easily?

If he can help it, Iwao takes a lot after his Papa (Yoichi), and attempts to do everything within his power to avoid a fight or confrontation. If it’s unavoidable, he has a very hard time backing down.

20. Does your character like animals? What are some of their favorite animals? Would they want pets? What about mythological creatures?

Iwao is an avid lover of animals. Some of his favorite animals are foxes, cats, and dogs. In his home in the wastelands (main verse), he takes care of various strays within the crumbled city by supplying them food, water, and gentle care and health check ups. His favorite mythological creatures are either kitsune (fox demons), or dragons.

10. Is your character more feminine or masculine?

Very much masculine. He’s no ‘manly man’ by any stretch of the imagination, but he does mostly consider himself male, despite his more ‘cute’ and ‘feminine’ behavior pattern.

11. What is something that would make your character fly into a rage?

Being a naturally hot-tempered person, it doesn’t take a lot to set Eisuke off. A simple short joke will have him grabbing your collar in an attempt to punch you.

12. Is there some particular talent, skill, or attribute that they simply could not give up?

His surprisingly quick wit. No matter what verse he’s in, he’s very quick to realize things, and can usually come up with witty responses on the fly.

13. What are your character’s sleeping habits? Heavy or light sleeper? Blanket stealer? One that always rolls onto the floor? Pushes their lover onto the floor? Sleep talker or walker?

He’s a quiet sleeper, but whenever you sleep in the same bed with him, make sure to use a separate blanket. He’s a bit of a blanket hog.

14. Do they live alone or with family? How do they feel about their family/roommates?

In his main (human) verse, he used to live with his wife Fujiko Norahara, until he lost control of his demon and murdered her. In any other verse (except his high school verse, where he lives with his adopted parents), it’s safe to say he lives alone.

15. Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.

Not really.The only person remotely like that would be Oiwamaru (swapped!verse) who makes him angry.

16. Is your character the athletic type or more of a couch potato? What are some sports/games that they like?

More in between. He has no qualms against being completely active, or sitting down or laying about all day.

17. Does your character have dreams of getting married and/or having children?

Not quite. It depends on who he’s with.

18. What kind of home would they want to live in? Where would they place this abode?

A spacious, open-concept home, preferably somewhere within the city.

19. Would your character be the kind to get into fights? (physical or verbal) Would they be a good fighter or cave in rather easily?

Being a stubborn hot head, he can easily be sucked into fights, and won’t back down.

20. Does your character like animals? What are some of their favorite animals? Would they want pets? What about mythological creatures?

Eisuke LOVES animals to no end. So much so that if he weren’t involved with the Brotherhood of a Thousand Nights, he would have grown to be a veterinarian. His favorite animals are tigers and dogs (specifically mixed breeds/mutts). In certain verses, he has a husky/shiba inu mix named Hanzo that he took care of since he adopted him from the pound. His favorite mythological creature would either be a dragon or a gryphon.
