Day 3 of drawing and rating your favorite ships!

This one is a big 9/10! I fixated on it a big amount when the movie came out. But now im obsessed with the actors lmao. -1 point cuz the friendship was a tiny bit rushed, and also i know it will never become canon cuz well.. disney. And also i still have no idea how to draw them so yeah.

I cant believe I played twisted wonderland for TWO WHOLE YEARS and only now after rewatching the og descendants movies and seeing some posts on here, do I see how Jay and Jamil are the exact replica of each other in every sense and form?!?!?!! Specially the hair and outfit..

i have a lot of thoughts on this movie but my biggest question is,, am i the only one who totally thought the prank was pulled by ella?? like when they got uliana i totally thought it was gonna be this big twist of oh no its actually ella,, upon rewatching i can appreciate her character more knowing that isn’t what happens

Never really gave much thought to Hades being Mal's father other than "Okey, what does that have to do with anything." But now that I'm trying to write Mal for a fic I realized how much I prefered the idea of her father being a human.

Idk I feel like it made more sense for her character and the duality she battles between the expectations her mother has for her and the "human life" (love, friendship, school, art) she craves. If I recall correctly, Maleficent in some aditional material inicially refers to Mal's dad as some "weak human." That alone could say so much. Her mother making her reject her human side and as part of her journey she has to accept that, accepting her human, "weak", vulnerable side.

The movies make her character so much of "Oh, but I am just a girl," and I feel is more compelling if she is half human. Because if she is Hades's daughter, she is not just a girl. It means there is not a single human bone in her body.

And maybe that could be another angle. She is so non-human that human morality scapes her (ya know, like fae). Her journey comes with learning about it, a true fish out of water thing, or something.

I just think it should be more of a big deal the fact that she isn't human. Worse, that she is a half god magical hybrid straight out of the acient myths.

With a young Hades and Maleficent set to appear in Descendants: The Rise of Red, I decided to make a collage of their adult and teenage selves. Its nothing fancy and one image column shorter than my other collages, but I think it turned out okay. I'm hoping the Rise of Red doubles as a Hadeficent love story.

AU idea that randomly popped into my head!

Florist!Red and Boxer!Chloe

Red ran away from home to escape her controlling mother, Bridget, and her incessant insistence on passing the family business on to her, when Red definitely doesn't want that. After looking for a job for a long time (and failing because she has no experience working), she was hired by florist Iracebeth, and started working at the flower shop, which became a very strict job and made her learn more about flowers than she imagined.

Chloe is a boxer, and it's pretty clear that her parents don't like that. Ella wanted her daughter to follow in her father's footsteps and become a fencer, but that's not what Chloe wanted. Even though she's not big and very muscular, Chloe has won several fights and has always been a worthy opponent and a tough-minded rival. She was away from fighting due to controversies that accused her of using illicit substances before fights, that is, until everything is proven to be a lie, Chloe had to stay away from fighting.

One day, Chloe was thinking about how to make her mother happy, since they ended up having another argument about the possibility of Chloe quitting boxing, which she doesn't want to do, and she was near a flower shop, and came up with the brilliant idea of buying a bouquet of flowers for her mother.

If anyone wants to continue with the idea, feel free, I just thought of it.

Oh yeah and uh, this is the mini vers of her design i used to test out the design and colors (it helped greatly, i got rid of her jacket and made some retcons to the first image so yea its rlly cool heh)

And uh, this is the old mini vers of my old design i ws using to play around with ideas. (I hate it, but thats the parh of designing shi)

Im pretty proud of my finalish design, considering i have no idea how to design characters, i usually just do it for fun with pre existing characters to get better. (I also js have mega problems with the og designs /hj 😭)
