Idk how BJP is getting votes in Delhi. Like I know how and why, but damn....People ( i mean people all over the country) who were not targeted either forgot or didn't really care about the violence that was incited and carried out by the party in 2020. In fact a few days ago when the budget of 2025 dropped, it got called the people's budget, cause the "middle class" now seemingly would't have to pay taxes anymore. And uh...this move being called the final swing before the state elections truly made it clear that the most enthusiastic saffron flag bearers of fascism in this country, are the well educated, comfortably living, metropol people.

[ad_1] GG News Bureau New Delhi, 9th Feb. In a historic achievement, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has not only swept the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections by securing 48 of the 70 seats but has also made significant inroads among the Dalit voter base, a constituency that has traditionally supported Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). In a major shift, the BJP has claimed six out of the 16 seats where the Scheduled Caste (SC) community has a significant presence. Dalits, comprising 16.5 percent of Delhi’s population according to the 2011 census, are the second-largest voting bloc after the Upper Castes. The BJP’s breakthrough in these areas is a noteworthy development, as Dalit voters in Delhi have predominantly backed Congress from 1993 to 2008 and AAP from 2013 to 2020. For the first time since the 1993 Assembly elections, when BJP secured power but lost several Dalit-majority constituencies, the party has successfully contested and won several Dalit-heavy seats. This time, however, the BJP wrested four out of the 12 reserved SC seats, three of which have more than 25 percent Dalit population. Additionally, the BJP has claimed two other seats, Rajinder Nagar and Wazirpur, where Dalits make up over 20 percent of the electorate. Notable defeats for the AAP came in the form of prominent Dalit candidates. Rakhi Birla, a sitting MLA from Mangol Puri, lost to BJP’s Kailash Gangwal by nearly 10,900 votes in the Madipur constituency. Senior Congress leader Rajesh Lilothia also faced defeat in Seema Puri, finishing third. On the other hand, BJP’s Dushyant Gautam lost in Karol Bagh, with AAP’s Vishesh Ravi retaining the seat. The shift in Dalit support towards BJP is significant, as the party had previously managed to gain Dalit votes at the Lok Sabha level but failed to replicate that success in the Delhi Assembly elections. Experts believe the rise in Dalit support for the BJP mirrors the party’s success in Haryana during the 2024 state elections, where Dalit votes were split along sub-caste lines, particularly between the better-off Jatav/Chamar Dalits and smaller communities such as Balmikis. In Delhi, the Jatav/Chamar Dalits, accounting for 38 percent of the total Dalit population, played a crucial role in the BJP’s success. The areas where the BJP saw substantial gains, including Mangol Puri, Bawana, Wazirpur, and Madipur, are areas with a higher Chamar population, while Balmikis, who form 21 percent of the Dalit population, are concentrated in other regions. Interestingly, Rajinder Nagar, which lies in New Delhi, saw a different pattern. Here, the Balmiki population is more dominant (48 percent) than the Chamar population (15 percent), but the BJP still managed to win the seat, marking another shift in voter trends. Meanwhile, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), which had hoped to capitalize on Dalit support, saw a drop in its vote share, from 0.7 percent in 2020 to 0.58 percent in 2025, signaling a further erosion of its influence in Delhi’s Dalit community. With its newly strengthened position among Dalit voters, the BJP is poised to leverage this newfound support to further consolidate its position in Delhi’s political landscape, marking a historic shift in the city’s voting dynamics. Introduction
In a remarkable turn of events, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured a historic victory in the Delhi Assembly Elections. Dr. Nowhera Shaik, MD & CEO of Heera Group of Companies, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to the party for this significant achievement. This blog post delves into the details of this momentous win and its implications for Delhi's future.
A Historic Win After 27 Years
The BJP's triumph in Delhi marks a significant milestone, as it comes after a 27-year hiatus. This victory is not just a political achievement but a testament to the party's enduring appeal and the trust it has managed to build among Delhi's citizens over the years.
Key Points:
First BJP victory in Delhi Assembly Elections in 27 years
Reflects a significant shift in Delhi's political landscape
Demonstrates the party's ability to connect with voters across generations
Leadership That Inspired Victory
The success of the BJP in Delhi can be attributed to the dynamic leadership at both the national and state levels. Dr. Nowhera Shaik specifically mentions two key figures in her congratulatory message:
Hon'ble BJP National President Sri JP Nadda: Under his guidance, the party has continued its streak of successes across various states.
Hon'ble PM Sri Narendra Modi: His visionary leadership and commitment to corruption-free governance have played a crucial role in winning the trust of Delhi's citizens.
These leaders have been instrumental in shaping the party's strategy and connecting with the voters on key issues.
The People's Mandate
The resounding victory of the BJP in Delhi is a clear indication of the people's aspirations and priorities. Dr. Nowhera Shaik emphasizes that through their votes, the citizens of Delhi have made their stance clear on several important issues:
Integrity in governance
Good governance practices
Focus on development
This mandate goes beyond party lines and reflects the collective desire of Delhi's residents for a government that can deliver on these crucial aspects.
Implications for Delhi's Future
The BJP's victory in Delhi opens up new possibilities for the city's development and governance. Some potential areas of focus for the new government might include:
Infrastructure Development: Improving roads, public transport, and urban planning
Education: Enhancing the quality of schools and higher education institutions
Healthcare: Strengthening the public health system and improving access to quality healthcare
Employment: Creating more job opportunities and supporting entrepreneurship
Environmental Concerns: Addressing pollution and promoting sustainable development
The new government will likely prioritize these areas to fulfill the trust placed in them by the voters.
Dr. Nowhera Shaik's Perspective
As a successful entrepreneur and CEO, Dr. Nowhera Shaik brings a unique perspective to this political development. Her congratulatory message highlights several key points:
Trust in Leadership: She emphasizes the people's trust in the BJP's leadership, particularly in PM Narendra Modi's vision of corruption-free governance.
Aspirations for Progress: Dr. Shaik recognizes that this victory is a reflection of the people's aspirations for progress, transparency, and accountability.
Confidence in the New Government: She expresses confidence that the newly formed government will honor the trust placed in them and work tirelessly for Delhi's citizens.
Positive Outlook: Dr. Shaik's message conveys optimism about Delhi's future under the new leadership.
Conclusion
The BJP's historic victory in the Delhi Assembly Elections, as highlighted by Dr. Nowhera Shaik, marks a new chapter in the city's political history. It reflects the changing aspirations of Delhi's citizens and their trust in the BJP's leadership and vision. As the new government takes charge, all eyes will be on how they translate this mandate into tangible improvements in the lives of Delhi's residents.
The coming years will be crucial in determining whether this victory translates into the promised development and good governance. As Dr. Shaik puts it, this is a journey towards a "brighter, more prosperous Delhi," and the hopes and expectations of millions ride on its success.

Delhi Elections, results and my thoughts
3:30 PM - 8 February 2025
Once a party rose to power with historic public support, but today its chief and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal lost his constituency. People gave him not just one but two chances. While some promises were fulfilled, others turned into mere vote-bank rhetoric. A leader once celebrated is now facing defeat.
Change doesn’t happen overnight; it unfolds over time. His overconfidence and hunger for power gradually shifted him away from the vision he once promised the people. Arvind Kejriwal, who rose to power as a people's leader, began to act more like an owner than a servant, growing arrogant in his belief that no one could defeat him in Delhi. The corruption charges against his party members, along with multiple arrests, have eroded public trust and shaken people's faith. His controversial remarks, including those that hurt religious sentiments, made him appear biased. His tendency to play the blame game and make accusations of defamation against other parties has overshadowed his focus on fulfilling his own responsibilities. Allegations of scandals led to his arrest, but beyond that, his focus shifted from governance to personal ambitions. While many politicians do this, Kejriwal was framed as the "Nayak" of politics, a role he ultimately failed to live up to.
Hopefully, Arvind Kejriwal learns a lesson this time and comes back stronger instead of blaming others. Let’s see how the winning party BJP governs Delhi and fulfills its promises. He made both good and bad decisions, but there’s no denying he was a popular CM and will be strong in opposition.
Note: These are just my personal thoughts. I’m not much into politics, I prefer history. Politics often fuels division, while history teaches valuable lessons from the past. It helps people learn, observe, and apply insights to shape a better future.
Sujeet

[ad_1] GG News Bureau Chennai, Tamil Nadu, 9th Feb. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has achieved a historic victory in the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, securing 48 out of 70 seats and making a resounding return to power in the national capital after 27 years. The party’s triumph was marked by the defeat of several key Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who lost to BJP’s Parvesh Verma in his own stronghold. BJP leader Tamilisai Soundarajan hailed the party’s sweeping victory, calling it a reflection of the people’s faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance. “After a quarter century, we are able to win Delhi elections. I thank our Prime Minister for his good governance and for giving the people hope that the same good governance would be delivered to Delhi also,” Soundarajan told ANI on Saturday. The BJP leader also expressed confidence that the results signified the “exit” of Arvind Kejriwal from the political scene. “As exit polls predicted, it is an exit for Kejriwal, and this will lead to a split in the INDI alliance. Even DMK should be worried because they are unable to contest unitedly,” she added. She also pointed out the contrast between the 2008 results, when Congress had secured 40 percent of the vote share, and the current situation, where Congress registered a “hat-trick zero” in the latest elections. The BJP’s victory was a significant blow to the ruling AAP, which had dominated Delhi politics in recent years. In the previous two assembly elections (2015 and 2020), AAP had won a commanding 67 and 62 seats respectively. However, this time, AAP suffered heavy losses, with its seat count drastically reduced and Kejriwal losing the prestigious New Delhi seat to BJP’s Parvesh Verma. BJP’s resounding success was further highlighted by the fact that the Congress, which ruled Delhi for 15 years until 1998, failed to secure any seats once again. This marks the third consecutive Delhi Assembly election in which Congress has failed to open its account, reinforcing the party’s declining influence in the capital. The BJP’s two-thirds majority in Delhi has bolstered its national dominance, following a string of successful electoral outcomes, including the Maharashtra and Haryana elections earlier. With this victory, the BJP is poised to strengthen its foothold in the national capital, while the AAP and Congress are left grappling with the fallout. Tamilisai Soundarajan concluded, “We are really happy about our victory, and this is a reflection of the people’s trust in BJP and its leadership.” The vote counting process was held on Saturday morning after polling took place on February 5, 2025.
