01/22/25: Wednesday fleamarket day did not disappoint today. I made a big purchase of movies although not many games. No biggie. First purchase was two 360 games, a wii U game, four dvds and a bluray for $11. At another place, I found a classic retro camera/recorder. I don't think it works, but I got it for its 50/60s vibe to it. It's called a DeJur Electra. And then a ps2 game for a dollar! And now for the highlight of the trip. In the front of a stall on a table I found some common Marvel and DC blurays a lady had. She also had some special Editions. I asked how much? And she said it varies. I had many of them already, but I pulled out a few interesting ones. A sealed goonies 4k, wonder woman, flash, Spider-Man, and a Deadpool slipcover variant of Edward Scissorhands. Lady wanted $11 for all of them. No problem. But going farther into the back, I hit the motherlode of blurays! The lady's husband controlled the other half of the stall. I started digging into the box and pulled movie after movie. And I also asked him how much these were and the guy said a dollar each. Score! I also had the suspicion that the lady grabbed all the comic book movies to put them in the front to get peoples attention and charge a few bucks more. I found way better films inside the box. And many of these are in 4k! Some are even unopened too. Not to mention a few series and steelbooks as well. There were so many movies I had to consult my Google docs to make sure I wasn't buying again. But I still slipped a bit. I guess I'll be replacing a few doubles with its 4k version. And I tossed in a few wii games for a dollar each too. Total for it was $95 dollars! And to make it an even $100, I grabbed a Scooby-doo bluray season from the lady that I was hesitant to buy at first. So many good movies!
