Though I personally doubt there’s any deals quite as good as those mentioned in recent weeks. I know I took full advantage of the Cyber Deals to get several games for less than $30. But that doesn’t mean there’s nothing…

Defenders of Ekron (PS4/PC/NSW)

 The development of DoE lasted about 4 years of development (2014-2017), originally the development was intended for PC, but in the second year, the project was migrated exclusively for Sony's console (PS4).

The development team consisted of 13 people.

My main role was to design the flowchart, the GUI design (Menus, HUD, game logo and iconography) and at the same time, part of the pixel art for the mini game: Invader of Ekron.

At the same time, a soundtrack was created, which was baptized as "Action Replay", they recorded the themes in an instrumental way to integrate it into the game.

The whole game was programmed in GML code (Game Maker Language) using the famous Game Maker Studio (the same engine used in indie games like Undertale, Rival of Aether, Spelunker, Maldita Castilla Ex, among others).

Near the end of the development, a 16-bit retro style mini-game was implemented as an unlockable mode.

“In Vitro Games Team with Sebastian Gana, Julio Marambio, jose Manuel, Gonzalo Nicolas and Marcelo Serres ” Defenders of Ekron was released in August 2017 for Steam and PS4 platform for digital download and in March 2018 a "Limited Edition" distributed and published by Eatasiasoft was released.

In 2019 was the release of the Nintendo Switch version, in an only digital buy in the e-shop (was published by Chorus Worldwide Games).
