Artist Research
This artwork is made by artists Deepti Nair and Harikrishnan Panicker (collectively known as Hari and Deepti). Each diorama is made of layers of cut watercolour paper placed inside a shadow box and lit from behind with flexible LED light strips. Hari and Deepti are originally from India but now live and work in Denver.
I thought Hari and Deeptis work was so amazing and beautiful that I wanted to try and make my diorama like their light box cut outs.

ARTIST INSPIRATION: Hari & Deepti.
https://www.thisiscolossal.com/2014/03/illuminated-cut-paper-light-boxes-by-hari-deepti/
Deepti Nair and Harikrishnan Panicker are collectively known as Hari and Deepti. Creating lightboxes filled with paper cuttings, the use of light and shadow has been utilised to their benefit. They have small and large works, using light which i can see myself incorporating into my works. The simplicity in a material of paper leaves a lot of space for creativity, but i think I'm still leaning towards using clay. I really like the effect of light and shadow in their works as it adds another dimension to their work, which i may use in a photographic series.

BCCI announces new pay contracts; MS Dhoni not in top group, Mohammed Shami gets nothing
BCCI on Wednesday announced the Annual Player Contracts for the period from October 2017 to September 2018, with the introduction of a new category A+ for the men's cricket team and Category C for Senior Women.
The Committee of Administrators (CoA) had a meeting in Mumbai on February 27 where this decision was taken.
MS Dhoni did not get the Grade A+ contract, which was given to Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah.
Mohammed Shami’s name did not feature in any of the categories.
Shami found himself in controversy after his wife alleged him for extra-marital affairs and physical harassment on Wednesday. It is not clear if that played a role.
“The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) for BCCI on Wednesday announced the Annual Player Contracts for the period from October 2017 to September 2018.
