Breaking News - Headlines about the film

Dec 9 2022 - her film contract makes headlines

From what I can find, this is the first that anyone knows she is producing a film. There are no details released other than it's a script she wrote and she will be directing the film.

The next we hear is Dec 7, 2023 from the Tennessean --

It's been crickets, essentially. There are no public details I can find about the film anywhere including cast list, release date, content, ETC.

Interestingly, two days ago -- though uncertain of validity of source -

I don't have access to puck so cannot confirm what the article says; but this was recent! So; in theory, she finishes her Eras tour and moves directly in to film.

20th century fox, prior to the creation of Searchlight, was prominent in the specialty and independent films market in the 1990s; it carried this interest into Searchlight, at least initially.

In 2012, it was incorporated into Murdoch's 21st Century Fox. Barf.

On Dec 14, 2017 Disney put their first bid out on 21st Century Fox/Fox Searchlight. On March 19, 2019 the companies merged and Disney acquired Fox Searchlight; Fox News notoriously split independently. Disney dropped the name Fox; so now we have just Searchlight Pictures. There is also a Searchlight Pictures TV and shorts production, which for the sake of time I will not get into.

For Funsies, here is a short film (Jun 18 2019, after Disney acquired) produced by them called....LAVENDER. About a gay man who has a relationship with a married gay couple. Can't make it up.

Anyway, since merging with Disney especially, the company seems to be LGBTQ friendly.

Most of her directorial work has been since the Lover debut. Most of which is very queer coded/sapphic.. and again, make of that what you will.

Since her split from JA, we have seen her with multiple friends in the film industry. Among these: Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Selena Gomez, Keleigh Teller, Miles Teller, Sophie Turner, Emma Stone...

And dare I say.... Travis Kelce, who seems to want to break his way into the entertainment industry?

Additionally, the media coverage of this relationship has been an absolute f*cking circus; with constant headlines of the two and their "engagement" / relationship dynamics. On Taylor's end, we have had constant references to Bejeweled (where she Ghosts); including Keleigh Teller giving her the opal ring.

The Speculation

Yall, this is my opinion - you can agree, disagree, etc; but I have no insider information. Just thoughts.

She makes her film directorial debut with Searchlight - recently acquired by Disney, who is pro-LGBTQ; and is clearly in deep with business deals with them, as seen on Taylor Nation and her Eras Tour Film.

We have rumors of her beginning her film production at the end of the ERAS tour, along with knowledge of her currently with B roll footage from chiefs games. We have multiple highly papp'ed appearances with her + TK; but also with multiple film stars, including Blake Lively (still not over that photo), Sophie Turner (I do think there's altruism here tbh on TS's end), and Keleigh. If you believe Keleigh is her stand in invisible bride.... Holy shit. Between the opal ring shutdown of the media circus as well as her and TS literally taking a page out of TSHOEH and dressing in character...

My ultimate suspicion is that she's using actual experiences of her current life-highly papp'ed - to tell her story. And that Keleigh is her stand in muse in this film.

I also think the @spade-riddles we've been getting about a final act ending, etc, pertain to her film. I don't have evidence aside from speculation.

what are the negative effects of common atypical antipsychotics?

> First, the adverse effects of antipsychotic medications are widely attested and very serious. They fall into at least two classes: cognitive impairments, and extrapyramidal disorders (such as akathisia, parkinsonism, and tardive dyskinesia). Both are concerning.

> Increasing evidence, both anecdotal and studied, suggests that antipsychotics frequently impair cognitive functioning. This is often described by those who have suffered from it as “zombie-like”, or as though they lacked the capacity for abstract thought [1]. There is a large empirical literature giving rigorous backing to these informal reports (see [2] for an overview and bibliography); more specifically, much of this literature suggests that antipsychotics can seriously impair procedural learning [3] [4] [9]. These empirical findings in the scientific literature, while plentiful and robust, seem not to have fully percolated yet into clinical practice.

> In addition to their potential adverse cognitive effects, antipsychotic medications are well-known to carry the risk of painful, disabling, and potentially damaging motor (“extrapyramidal”) disorders. I promised I'll be making intros to my DRs, so let's start off with my Main DR ! I have not shifted to this DR yet, but it's the one I try to shift to almost every night and it's one of the two DRs that stay consistent in my scripts !

Going to public school, but not being able to make many friends. Getting bullied often, so taking up a hobby, which is dancing. I begin dancing every night to popular K-Pop songs in my room, and deciding that becoming an idol is my dream.

OCT.2009

I begin auditioning for SM, YG, JYP, but am continuously rejected for being too young, not being able to sing and rap. I go to every audition I can, which my family soon finds out about. I get scolded a lot afterwards, but I decide to prove everyone wrong, so I begin training in my room to sing and rap.

DEC.2009

I decide to audition for SM Ent. one last time. The judges already know me by then. They give me one last chance, and after a lot of mumbling from their side, they tell me they will call me soon.

JAN.2010

I begin training under SM Ent. There aren't many trainees my age, so I befriend older trainees, which are Sehun (EXO), Johnny (NCT), Irene (Red Velvet). Soon after I begin training, my family informs me that they will be moving back to Bulgaria, where my older brother can receive better higher education there, so I am left alone in Seoul. They tell me to come with them, but becoming an Idol is my dream, so I refuse, to which they get furious, and tell me never to contact them ever again.

2011-2012

I become great friends with Yeri (Red Velvet) and we train together, aligned for the same group. We are roommates, so we become good friends the moment she becomes a trainee. I've gone no contact with my family, aside from my aunt, uncle and cousin. I also befriend Mark (NCT), but we get close due to me not being able to speak good Korean and communicating in English instead (same situation with Johnny). He helps me improve both my English, and my Korean.

Hello, I'm Eden. (They/them) I'm 22 years old and been playing L4D2 since it came out for xbox 360 in 2009 (I was 8 - going on 9). I started shipping Nellis when I was about 11. It was in fact my first ship ever.

I decided to make this lil thing because i've seen some interest in my recent post with my Nellis!cats :P.

In 2013, I hated my human art so I decided to design and make as cats so I could draw them easier. I use to use drawcast on my ipod touch.

I would finally get a more stable style and made more of my fav ship.

Later on that year, my mom gave me her old laptop and I got heavily into animation memes and computer digital art.

Lovely Runner Live Blogging

I've been seeing the “i found you girl i like being around you” edits on tiktok but before then, i’d also heard about the show and saw an ep 1 clip of when she runs up to him at the swimming pool. i’m a time travel show enjoyer and this show has been getting such good reviews, so I’m excited. my last few shows have been quite dark and violent and i kinda wanna go for another such show but think a lighter (yet emotional) show might do me some good so that i don’t burn out

Overall:

A fun show with a fun concept and great acting + romance. It was funny and delightful most of the time, there was a kind of killer/suspense aspect but that wasn't really ever the Focus, Sunjae being killed was the focus; similarly, they didn't thoroughly explain the time travel because the mechanics wasn't the focus, Sol going back was the focus.

I liked Sunjae and Sol together and it was fun seeing how Sunjae was slightly different in the different timelines lol I liked seeing the couple on high school, college, as idol!Sunjae and actor!Sunjae. It did feel a bit like consistency was lost in their relationship but that was the point i guess. It was a very romantic concept, the way they were falling in love in every timeline.

Everything about it was good and I was engaged, I just don’t think I’d think about it much though. Kinda reminds me of When I Fly Towards You c-drama in that way; a cute youthful romance drama but I'm not hung up on it. At least it kept me company during my commute of the first week at my new internship.

Since you're losing me was written and recorded in Dec 2021, does that change who you think it is about / timeline on the different things?

Thanks anon, I hadn't seen the detail on December 2021. Jack's Story added below - thanks @leftamarkonme She might have shared it now so people stop being trauma-core about her Eras performances saying she was crying when she wasn't.

To be honest, if You're Losing me was written in 2021 would not surprise me or change how I view it. He wasn't at the All to Well SNL launch but I thought it was too cynical to say it was over 18 months before the announcement, even if I thought it. Because I think Glitch was written after the Brits in May 2021.

Also, they were seen looking frosty AF at a 2022 Oscars Party and 2022 VMA after party. Maybe she wrote it and they continued to try to make it work for another couple of months to May. Or maybe it was over and they had agreed engagements to give themselves some privacy while they recovered before it went public. I actually hope it is the later because I think making space herself is fantastic.

The man charged with killing a Broomfield teen and his mother in a Dec. 12 crash while drunken driving was waiting for a jail bed from a recent alcohol-related driving conviction when he crashed into the pair’s vehicle, according to the 20th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

Jose Menjivar, who also goes by Jose Guadalupe Menjivar-Alas, had also been deported from the U.S. four times before the crash, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesperson said.

He is charged with vehicular homicide and driving under the influence in the deaths of Riordan and Melissa Powell in a crash near Broomfield High School.

Court records show Menjivar had four previous alcohol-related driving offenses stemming from incidents going back to 2007 in Boulder County and had been sentenced in the most recent case just four days before the Broomfield crash.

He pleaded guilty to two charges of driving ability impaired and one charge of driving under the influence, as well as a harassment charge, District Attorney spokesperson Shannon Carbone said in an email.

Prosecutors argued Menjivar should be sentenced to a year in jail in that case, Carbone said, but the judge, Zak Malkinson according to court records, sentenced him to work release and probation and allowed Menjivar to wait for a bed out of custody.

“The prosecutor correctly believed this defendant was a danger to the community,” Carbone said. “Instead, the Judge ordered 365 days of work release. The sentence, in addition to work release, included two years of probation and other requirements. The Court allowed the defendant to wait out-of-custody for a bed in the work release program — over our office’s objection.”

In work release programs, inmates stay in jails except when authorized to leave for work.

The judge at Menjivar’s sentencing noted he had served 100 days in jail leading up to the sentencing and tested sober “for a significant period of time,” Carbone said. “Those are significant factors, but our office still fought for straight jail time to be imposed immediately.”

Online court records show Menjivar previously failed to appear in court multiple times, leading to the case being drawn out over seven years before he pled guilty to a lesser charge of driving while ability impaired in June 2023.

The sentence was 365 days work release on each case to run concurrent to each other, “over our office’s objection,” Carbone said.

Four days after the sentencing, while waiting for the work release bed, Broomfield police say Menjivar got drunk and drove twice the speed limit near a high school and crashed into Riordan and Melissa Powell’s vehicle, killing them.

Steve Kotecki, a public affairs officer with ICE’s Denver field office, said Menjivar had also been removed from the U.S. four times since 2009.

“ICE records show that (Menjivar) has been previously removed and has no regard for immigration law,” Kotecki said. “As part of its routine operations, ICE targets and arrests noncitizens who commit crimes and other individuals who have violated our nation’s immigration laws. All noncitizens in violation of U.S. immigration law may be subject to arrest, detention and, if found removable by final order, removed from the United States, regardless of nationality.”

An immigration judge issued a final order of removal for Menjivar on April 14, 2009, Kotecki said.

His removals from the U.S. were in June 2009, June 2012, November 2014 and January 2015.

In connection to the Broomfield crash, ICE Denver lodged an immigration detainer with Broomfield County on Dec. 18, 2023, Kotecki said.
