Itadori had never felt insecure about his appearance. He had no reason to be insecure, in fact, he hardly cared how people saw him. The superficial wasn't what mattered to him. However, when he looked in the mirror and analysed the scars on his face, it was inevitable that he would not feel that way.

There was a scar at the corner of his mouth and one above his eyebrow.

His face was like a canvas and the horrors of the old days etched into his skin still felt like fresh paint.

There were also scars all over his body, but they were easily covered by his clothes.

The fighting was over, they had won, but even so, the terror and fear he felt from that time was still very much alive in his memories, and every time he saw his reflection in the mirror it was as if he was teleported back to the battlefield where he had lost friends and family, where he had sacrificed every drop of sweat to save the people of Tokyo.

He had no problem with the scars, his overthinking only started when a few people looked at him and then at you and whispered something.

Yuuji wasn't one to be embarrassed, but what if he was embarrassing you with his new appearance?

It was a question he didn't want to know the answer to.

"Yuuji, come on! This is the third date you've canceled!" You knocked on Yuuji's dorm door again, frustrated by the whole situation. "You were more excited than me about the premiere of Deadpool and Wolverine!"

"Sorry, I got sick."

"Really, Yuuji?" Even though he couldn't see, you put your hands on your waist, showing a look of indignation at his words, "I know very well what you're like when you're sick, and you're not like that! Please, let's talk!"

A silence fell, and seconds later, the dormitory door opened, revealing Yuuji in his Hello Kitty pajama pants and a white sweatshirt. He had a sad expression on his face, but he kept his head down to make sure you couldn't see his face.

"Yuuji, what happened?" You tried to reach the boy's face, but he dodged and walked over to the bed, wrapping himself in the blanket.

A sigh left your lips, seeing him like that was heartbreaking. With slow steps you approached the boy and sat down on the edge of the bed.

"Talk to me, love," you begged again.

"I don't want to go..." Itadori said with a weak voice.

"And why not?" You asked, trying to keep the conversation going.

"You will be ashamed…"

"What?" you asked confused "Ashamed? Why would I be ashamed?"

"Because I look terrible."

"Baby, you're not making any sense."

Then Yuuji sat up in bed, his eyes bulging, and stared at you for a moment before looking away.

"If we go out together, I'll embarrass you with my appearance..." he muttered.

"Who told you that nonsense?"

"Nobody told me! You can tell when people look at my scars and then at you, as if wondering why you're with me if I look like this..."

"Yuuji, my love" You reached for the boy's face, holding him between your hands to make him look at you, "What matters least to me is your appearance. You're an incredible person, lively, gentle, kind, brave, your looks are just a bonus. My love for you goes far beyond your outward beauty. You approached the boy and planted a lingering kiss on the two scars on his face. "Not to mention, I think your scars make you really cool, like a bad boy.”

"Really?" Itadori asked with a small smile and you nodded your head.

"You don't need to be ashamed of your scars, they are proof that you are alive, and that is the most important thing."

"Thank you!" A huge, bright smile broke out on Yuuji's lips and he hugged you tightly, planting kisses all over your face. "Is there still time for us to go to the movies?"

"Of course, I bought the tickets for the last session!"

"I love you." Itadori smiled and captured his lips in a lingering kiss.

"I love you too."

I’ve said it once. I’ll say it again. I love how you write Logan, and I have another request for you:) I’m thinking Logan from Deadpool 3 because he’s like the most serious one out of all of them. But for this I think the reader is his complete opposite, like they love to laugh, are affectionate, likes to talk, are short, etc. but you can tell that he really loves them. I’m taking inspo from Jenna marbles (if you haven’t watched her TikTok videos, I highly recommend them, and this will make more sense) but what if reader will be sitting on the couch or their bed, and Logan will walk into the room and they will just be sitting there cry-laughing at some dumb TikTok. Like it could be 1am and he’d find them laughing uncontrollably until they’re crying. Logan just kind of rolls his eyes, or shakes his head but will go and sit with them and watch the TikTok they’re laughing at because he loves them. I don’t think he’d find it funny at all, but I think he would find it a little funny at how hard the reader is laughing

Laughter at 1 AM

Logan pushed open the bedroom door, the dim light from the hallway casting long shadows across the floor. It was late—well past 1 AM—and the Apartment was quiet, except for one unmistakable sound that made him pause in the doorway.

Laughter. Specifically, your laughter.

Logan stood there for a moment, one hand on the doorframe, watching as you sat cross-legged on the bed, phone in hand, shaking with laughter. You were a small thing, especially compared to him, and right now, you looked even smaller, curled up in an oversized sweatshirt that probably belonged to him. Your face was lit up by the glow of your phone, tears streaming down your cheeks as you tried—and failed—to stifle your giggles.

He shook his head, a low sigh escaping him. This wasn’t the first time he’d found you like this, and it probably wouldn’t be the last. You had a knack for finding humor in the most ridiculous things, a trait that was both baffling and endearing to Logan.

It was one of the many things about you that were so different from him. Where he was gruff and reserved, you were bright and affectionate, always ready with a smile or a hug. You loved to talk, filling the silence with your stories and thoughts, and you laughed often, your joy as infectious as it was sincere. And though he didn’t always show it, Logan loved that about you. Loved that you brought a lightness to his life that he hadn’t known he was missing.

He watched as you let out another snort of laughter, clutching your sides as you doubled over, your phone almost slipping from your grasp. Whatever you were watching had clearly struck a nerve, and you were lost to it, the rest of the world forgotten as you gave in to the hilarity.

With a small smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth, Logan stepped into the room, closing the door behind him. He crossed the floor with slow, deliberate steps, the bed creaking slightly under his weight as he sat down beside you. You didn’t notice him at first, too absorbed in the video playing on your screen, but when he reached out and gently plucked the phone from your hands, your laughter faded into a breathless gasp of surprise.

“Logan!” you exclaimed, trying to catch your breath as you looked up at him, eyes still sparkling with mirth. “I didn’t hear you come in.”

“Yeah, well,” he grunted, glancing at the video that was still playing on your phone, “you were kinda distracted.” He held the phone up, squinting at the screen as some ridiculous video played out—a woman sticking mirrored gems to her face from the looks of it. He didn’t get it, not really, but that wasn’t the point.

He looked down at you, your cheeks flushed and eyes watery from laughing so hard, and something warm and unguarded softened his expression. “This what you’re up to at one in the morning, huh? Laughin’ yourself to death over some damn video?”

You bit your lip, trying to suppress another giggle, but the way he was looking at you—half exasperated, half amused—only made it harder. “It’s funny, okay?” you said defensively, though there was no real heat behind your words. “You should’ve seen it! I—oh my God, I can’t even—” And with that, you were off again, collapsing into another fit of laughter, your head dropping onto his shoulder as you shook with giggles.

Logan just sat there, letting you have your moment, though he couldn’t help the faint smile that tugged at his lips. It wasn’t the video that amused him—he still didn’t see the humor in it—but seeing you like this, so full of life and laughter, that was something that never failed to make him feel… well, something warm and unfamiliar in his chest.

When your laughter finally subsided into breathless chuckles, you looked up at him, wiping the tears from your cheeks with the back of your hand. “Sorry,” you said, still smiling. “I know it’s late, but I just couldn’t help it.”

He shook his head, sliding an arm around your shoulders and pulling you closer. “You don’t gotta apologize for laughin’, darlin’,” he murmured, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “It’s good to see you happy.”

You nestled into his side, resting your head against his chest as the last remnants of laughter bubbled out of you. “I love you, you know that?” you said softly, your voice warm with affection.

Logan’s heart did that thing it always did when you said those words—fluttering slightly in a way that was still new and strange to him. “Yeah,” he rumbled, his voice low and rough. “I know. I love you too.”

You sighed contentedly, nuzzling closer to him, and for a moment, the two of you just sat there in the quiet of the night, the only sound the steady rhythm of Logan’s breathing.

But then, because you couldn’t help yourself, you reached for your phone again. “Okay, but seriously, you have to watch this one,” you said, your eyes lighting up with excitement as you pulled up another video.

Logan rolled his eyes, but he didn’t protest, letting you lean against him as you played the next TikTok. He didn’t get it, and he probably never would, but it didn’t matter. What mattered was the way you lit up, the way your laughter filled the room, chasing away the darkness and bringing a little bit of light into his life.

Assorted KH4 Predictions

Yozora shows up almost immediately after the fight with the Darkside, prompting Sora to run for the hills. He proceeds to avoid Yozora for at least the first half of the game, like that one meme of a floating guy chasing another guy down a hallway

To make up for the limited selection of Disney worlds, there are a number of sidequests related to Disney characters who have also ended up in Quadratum. I can see the Sanderson sisters being the antagonists of a side story arc - while they’re really popular Disney villains, Hocus Pocus likely won’t be made into a KH world anytime soon

Some of the cutscenes make offhand references to a “strange man dressed in red and black,” leading to the audience thinking that the game’s building up to a fight against Genesis (like how the bonus boss fight with Sephiroth in KH2 was heavily built up to). Then it turns out the real boss is Deadpool

Vanitas is in Quadratum since he was still in Sora’s heart at the time Sora got Thanos snapped there. He’s now stuck in the form of a Flood and is very grumpy about it

Sora runs into Vanitas while Strelitzia’s showing him around Quadratum and immediately makes it his mission to redeem his brother by resocializing him like a feral cat

The 14th life that Xehanort mentioned in Dark Road is revealed to be a Replica he stashed in Quadratum that managed to achieve sentience and develop a personality of his own like Xion did

Aside from being a Xehanort clone, Nort-14 is a normal city kid who has no idea who tf Sora is or why this random guy hates him so much

Vanitas tries to beat the shit out of him on sight

After spending some time as a Very Confused side character, Nort-14 gets roped into some Keyblade-related bullshit that serves as his, Vanitas, and Sora’s get along sweatshirt and leads to him joining the group

We finally get to find out what Demyx’s deal is!

Speaking of Demyx, he’s also in Quadratum and gradually grows into the role of Sora and co.’s goofy, incredibly irresponsible older brother figure

Either the Hundred Acre Wood returns as the side world (since Sora gets there by going into a book, he could theoretically still access it due to Quadratum being “the world of fiction”) or we get a side world based on the Muppets

Nomura finally gets his musical

Luxord is revealed to have been secretly working with Oswald the entire time in order to take down the Master of Masters

Also, since Quadratum is rendered in a realistic art style, that means that Oswald looks like a normal rabbit

Not counting the sidequests, a lot of the side content is just Sora and co. vibing in Quadratum

One of the Disney worlds is the Land of the Dead from Coco

Riku spends most of the game lost in the city, finally reuniting with Sora during the endgame only to find that his childhood friend is now besties with a sapient Unversed, a younger version of Xehanort, that weird guy he met in the Keyblade Graveyard that one time, and some random ginger girl

We get a couple of cutscenes showing what’s going on back in the regular KH reality, one of which is Lauriam searching for the other Dandelion Union leaders and Strelitzia in Twilight Town. He runs into Namine and the two awkwardly stare at each other while Kill Bill sirens blare overhead before Laurie just “nopes” out of there

Demyx’s relation to the Age of Fairytales isn’t brought up until relatively late in the game but not because Demyx is trying to avoid more work or anything. After thinking over Xemnas’s whole speech, Demyx just figured that Mansex was lying out his ass (like he always does) and doesn’t think to bring it up until it becomes relevant in the plot

Baldr is there to Cause Problems On Purpose, serving as a side antagonist like Maleficent and Pete in KH2. He serves as a parallel to each of the Quadratum kids - both him and Sora have special hearts that can easily connect to others, both him and Vanitas are the “dark half” to their lighter sibling, both him and Strelitzia struggled over insecurities that their older sibling didn’t have, and lots of fun can be had with Baldr interacting with Nort-14

Jean-Phillipe appears as a typical male in his thirties, standing at approximately 5'9" (1.75 m) with a toned physique and light skin that tends to tan under intense sunlight. His black hair is always shaved close to his head (probably because he wears his mask 95% of the time). His eyes are blue-grey, appearing almost black from afar. On the rare occasion when he wears civilian clothing, he'll be in something very subtle, like a plain sweatshirt or top (always long sleeves) with jeans or tailored pants--in white, grey, or beige, of course (he's a sucker for his signature colors!). He wears a white tactical one-piece with a white trench coat, utility belt, boots, gloves & a face mask (which has night-vision goggles & telepathy-blocking ceramics). Sometimes the outfit is completely white, other times it has black accents.

--- BACKGROUND

He was born as 1 of 2, twin boys of a human woman carrying the mutant gene & Super-Sentinel engineering. To be brief, he was designated as Weapon XIII (13) & placed in The World, a contained environment full of deadly machines that forced him to grow up fighting. They wanted him to hunt mutants, but he said "fuck that" & found a way to break out. He met the X-Men when he helped them take down the violent Weapon XII. He'd go on to help them defeat other international threats & he personally destroyed all he could that was connected to the Weapon Plus program (an extension of the Weapon X project that sought to enhance & control Wolverine). He's had a few people get close to him...Ultimaton aka Weapon XV is his twin, who he was forced to kill, but then he remade him & let him live in The World. Similarly, he killed the child clone of Apocalypse, then later took another clone & enrolled him in the X-Men's school as "Evan Sabahnur", taking on the role of Evan's "uncle". Finally, he shared a brief romance with Betsy Braddock. Initially, they had a romantic/sexual threesome between himself, a female version of himself (long story) & Betsy, but Betsy broke things off when he insulted her love for Angel/Warren Worthington III. This mun ships the fuck out of Fantomex x Gambit, because the two had a brief partnership (yay bisexual sexy thieves!).

—- PERSONALITY

He's been through some shit. In the most simple terms, he's thematically & emotionally the lovechild of Deadpool & Gambit (I'm sure Wade would love to hear that). Once he accepts a job or plans a heist, he always follows through. He tells himself it's because he has a reputation to maintain as "Le Fantomex, the World's Greatest Thief (& occasional assassin)", but he's truly determined, dependable & prideful. He doesn't let himself get close to many more than a handful, yet he can be incredibly loyal when he's joined a team (like the X-Men). In his day-to-day talk, he has no problem bragging about his impressive abilities, or flirting with either sex (he really does like himself, though most peg him as an arrogant jerk). When it comes down to it, he's a utilitarian/greater good kind of guy. He also loves to live a hedonistic lifestyle, spending his free time stealing artwork & ordering room service at 5-star hotels.

—- ABILITIES

Powers

E.V.A: she's essentially a small aircraft with an A.I. who has a symbiotic relationship with him. He can see through her "eyes" & remotely pilot her with intense effort on his part. She can fire blasts of bioelectric energy. While connected to her, he can ignore injuries, because he won't feel the pain.

Body Supremacy: he has nanites that enhance his willpower, to the point where he will push on even if he's near death or attacked by someone attempting mind control. They sometimes even make him sociopathic on the rare occasion when he meets someone better than him. Jean can also will his body to push out shrapnel, bullets & splinters--& he can slightly speed up his healing factor (it's not much faster than that of a regular human's).

Misdirection: it's the ability to change people's perceptions & feelings from what they are, to what he wants them to be. He sometimes does this using illusions, which even skilled telepaths have trouble seeing through.

Reduced Aging: a lot of Weapon Plus/X experiments have this.

Enhanced Agility: he's always jumping across rooftops. Think of Catwoman, but...male & wearing all-white.

Enhanced Strength: this is somewhere on the level of your usual experimental super-soldier (think Bucky Barnes or Deadpool).

Enhanced Senses: others perceive this as him simply being very observant.

Inodorosity: he has no scent, which makes it difficult for people who rely on their augmented senses (like Wolverine) to track him.

Weaknesses

Some of his weaknesses are directly linked to his powers. If E.V.A. is hurt, Jean-Phillipe will feel her pain. If he unlinks himself from her, he can only see in black & white & he can no longer ignore his own pain from injuries. Because of how he was "raised", he sometimes has trouble relating to people, despite his ability to manipulate & read them. His drive can come across as cruelty.

Skills

Marksmanship: his "training" while in the World has made him a good enough shot to use handguns as his primary weapons, against Weapon Plus guards, other assassins & superhuman opponents.

Hand-to-Hand Combat: like the others in the Weapon Plus/X program, he was originally designed to hunt & kill. As such, he's an extremely formidable combatant.

Fluent in Body Language: his enhanced intelligence aids him in understanding the subtle vocal & physical cues of others, enough for him to predict movements & seemingly read people's thoughts.

Accent: some people think Jean is French. He's not. He's just weirdly obsessed with France & French things. He doesn't even SPEAK French (though he knows a few phrases). But he has noticed that people tend to become distracted by his speech when he fakes his accent...which is nice when he's trying to do something sneaky with his hands.

oh this is some JUICY type questions thank you (putting under a cut cause I can already tell this is gonna get long LOL)

SUPERHEROES! This is funny because I think Davey is the only one who would like the actual *hero* part of the superhero equation, at least actively and consciously. I think he likes pulpy silver age type stuff and he's got a real soft spot for when it gets goofy. He *IS* the guy who actually knows Calendar Man's whole deal. I have a feeling his favorite would be Spider-Man, especially stories/serials that emphasize that he's just kind a regular nerdy loser whose focus is on protecting the folks in his community first and foremost.

Minnie... she strikes me as the type who grew up on stuff like Power Rangers, but even that she would probably lean towards liking the villains more than the heroes (read: she likes Rita Repulsa a normal amount and is not going to unpack that She Was A Baby Lesbian About It until she's in, like, her mid-20s). I think at the age she is now, she's hitting the point where she'll insist Power Rangers is Baby Stuff (even though she'll watch it whenever it's on...) and is just getting into the Edgy 90s Anti-Hero Types. You know, your Harley Quinns, your Deadpools, your Venoms. I think she's probably written off magical girl stuff as too ~*girly*~ but is maybe a year or two away from watching Madoka on a dare and getting extremely fucked up about it (and probably giving more magical girl stuff a chance in the aftermath).

Buck is, I think, the most adamantly against any and all superhero media. He just, he hates all of it. Full stop. The pulpy stuff, the grimdark stuff, the alternative stuff, he either Does Not Get It at best or finds it actively grating at worst. The only thing I can see him getting into is maybe Tiger & Bunny - I think the concept of "yeah these superheroes are actively sponsored by corporations" would be just enough to catch his interest and then the single dad stuff would lock him in before he realized what was happening. You'd still have to like, catch him by surprise with it, though. Like, if you just left it on in a room he happened to be in he'd give it a glance, but I don't think he'd sit down and watch it on purpose otherwise.

COSY OUTFITS! Buck and Minnie are very similar in that regard - I think they both gravitate towards bulky, fluffy sweaters and sweatshirts. Those two want to be Bundled Up. I think Buck in particular likes heavier materials too. That man would very much benefit from a weighted blanket, I think. Davey, by contrast, is big on light and airy materials - he likes baggy, breezy sweatpants and tank tops and the like. If it's really cold, he'll probably just steal one of Buck's sweaters.

GIFTS!! This is a very interesting one, because all three of them have very different ways of displaying affection, and Minnie and Buck are both particularly stunted in that regard. Buck's very much the type who's going to show he cares more in actions than in words or items, so I think his go-to gift would be something like that. He's the "hey we happened to have ingredients for that dinner you like" or "hey I fixed the heater since you were complaining about the noise" kind of gifter - things that aren't particularly flashy or tangible, but prove that deep down he's thinking about you and wanting you to be happy and comfortable. I think Minnie and Davey both get particularly elaborate meals on birthdays/holidays, and I get the feeling he "gifts" things to Minnie's pet rat as a way of putting in some distance and not admitting directly that he really does care about his shitty little niece.

Davey, by contrast, is both VERY outwardly affectionate and very emotionally intelligent. I think he's the type who spends like, a month before holidays and birthdays listening really closely to what you're saying and probably subtly leading you into admitting what you want so he can surprise you with something really tailored to your likes. Minnie's easy because she has a lot of more "tangible" likes and hobbies - photography, science, animals, video games... - so he can pretty easily get her something along those lines and make her day. (I also think, selfishly, he probably leans towards getting her video games since it's something they have in common and he's hoping they can play together.) That said, I think he plays it off like he's not the one gifting it, since he knows Minnie's kind of emotionally gruff and he doesn't wanna put her on the spot - just oh how did this happen someone accidentally left this refill of polaroid film in the kitchen how did that get there. With Buck, on the other hand, I think he sticks to more "practical" things since that's what Buck likes - new supplies to tinker with for the mechs, or ingredients that are a little tough to find for a recipe he's been thinking about, or a new sweater to replace the one that got ripped up last month. He's also more direct with gifting to Buck, since they've been together long enough that Buck knows and is OK with him being outwardly affectionate (at least in the privacy of their own home).

Minnie, I don't think, has caught on that she can or Should be gifting things to Buck or Davey, at least when she first starts living with them - she's from kind of a privileged background and had a cold relationship with her parents so I think the most she would have done back then is half-assing a homemade card when socially pressured to do so. I think eventually she would start catching on and being a little embarrassed about it, though, and at that point I think it starts manifesting a lot like Buck's gift-giving tendencies - she's more about action than more tangible items. Buck gets a little less back-talk on his birthday, and Davey gets a couple extra rounds of Street Fighter with her on holidays.
