It’s Day 40 of the Windy Wessagusset Wimple of 2024. The wind was out of the south at the 6mph at 8am. The temperature was 35° and it felt like 31°. I used the Frosty Green color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn to indicate the wind was out of the south. I worked my stitches in garter stitch to show the wind speed was between 0 and 9mph. It was a lovely day in Wessagusset today, with sunshine and bright skies. There were cool temperatures that meant my winter jacket was in use again today as we travelled into Boston. On the way home we decided to use the HOV lane, and it was awesome! We blew by all the traffic that backed up on the expressway, and cruised along without a delay. It was a wonderful way to make great time, and we got home really quickly, which was terrific. Seiji Ozawa died. He was a wonderful conductor of the Boston Symphony, and was with the Symphony for 29 years. I am saddened by his loss, but can’t help but smile remembering all the things he did in Boston. Be safe out there.
