Discover The Quality of Childcare
Choosing the best path to grow little ones is a universal sentiment for parents. In that case, choosing good childcare for childhood education is essential. Every parent desires the best Childcare Nursery Wolverhampton that can help their child blossom perfectly. In this blog, let’s discover the impact of good childcare.
The Impact of Good Childcare
Every interaction and experience plays a crucial role in building a child’s personality in tender years. As per some studies, good childcare can play a significant role alongside careful parenting.
Children with high-quality childcare can have advanced vocabulary and good social competence. Simply put, high-quality child care isn’t a luxury but a required aspect of nurturing a child’s early years. Keep reading to learn more about the qualities of childcare:
Physical Environment
A safe environment can’t be compromised where the children will learn and explore new things. A well-designed outdoor environment with natural materials can play a crucial role. When a nursery Wolverhampton childcare team includes natural materials, it can connect the children directly with nature. Besides that, the outdoor space provides a venue for exploration and play.
Educator Qualification
It’s essential to check the qualifications and skills of the educator while choosing a day nursery for children. Besides that, the parents have to check the educator-to-child ratio. When educators are well-trained and passionate, they can provide a rich environment for young minds.
Their qualifications ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge to foster a learning environment. The educator-to-child ratio is crucial for individual and overall care.
Relationship and Communication
A partnership can be well-maintained with proper communication between the educator and parents. However, this partnership isn’t just between the educator and the family as it extends to involve the child. When they experience positive interactions, it ensures emotional security and a sense of belonging.
Health and Safety
The parents also have to check the health and safety provided by the nursery. If the nursery provides meals, make sure they are healthy enough for the kids. The combination of daily outdoor activity and an active lifestyle can improve a child’s overall growth. A good day nursery can provide health, safety, and nutrition for an inspiring atmosphere for children.
Assessment and Improvement
Besides all of these things, the parents have to check what the organization does to grow as it’s a good indication for childcare. A good nursery like Apple Tree always offers new standards of excellence. Plus, checking if the childcare receives constructive feedback to improve services and making a better atmosphere for young minds.
Conclusion
Apple Tree Day Nursery, one of the best nurseries in Wolverhampton, is well-known for providing caring support to children. Besides that, they have highly skilled educators who ensure that every child can enjoy the expedition of discovery. Pushing a trolley stacked high with cans of Baked Beans along a narrow corridor, it's hard at first to recognise the masked young man despite his face being on billboards around the world.
His hair, too, is longer thanks to lockdown, while his hands are covered by an unflattering pair of latex gloves.
Up close there's no mistaking who the mystery man is....but quite why Liam Payne finds himself stacking shelves in a London foodbank is another matter.
In an exclusive interview with the Mirror, the down-to-earth 26-year old singer has spoken for the first time about how he felt compelled to act in the wake of the global pandemic.
Like many, he was left deeply upset by reports of families struggling to eat under the crippling financial pressure caused by the nation going into lockdown.
And in an extraordinary act of generosity, the star has donated cash worth 360,000 food parcels to the Trussell Trust, who support a nationwide network of food banks.
But he wanted to get his hands dirty too....so headed down to a foodbank in London's Euston to volunteer and also find out first hand about the scale of the problem.
“I was told that in terms of people turning up to that specific foodbank, it was almost double, if not more. It's terrible people need food banks anyway but now, it's getting worse and worse,” he says.
Liam spent the day packaging up food parcels for the homeless with a team of four other charity volunteers
“My job for the day also entailed packaging up specific items for homeless people that were stuck on the street,” he says. “They need very specific types of food because a lot of them can't cook things, they can't prepare stuff, they can't get boiling water.”
Last week The Trussell Trust said it was enduring its busiest ever period, with 81% more emergency food parcels being given out across the UK compared to the same period in 2019. This included 122% more parcels going to children.
“The numbers are crazy,” he admits. “And it's just disturbing to know how many people are without food in these circumstances. I hope enough people out there know about these food banks and can get down to them.”
He paid special tribute to the “inspiring” foodbank volunteers he met including Carla, Dorothea and Helena.
“These people are putting themselves on the line every single day going out and doing this, putting themselves at risk,” he says
“I want to urge anyone reading this to donate to The Trussell Trust if you’re able to. I know lots of people are in a really difficult financial position right now so can’t … but if you can please do donate.”
Growing up in Wolverhampton, money was tight in the Payne household, with dad Geoff a fitter and mum Karen a nursery nurse.
But while he admits that “money definitely put stress on the family in certain circumstances”, he says that it was a world away from the current predicament many families are now finding themselves in.
“This is a really unprecedented situation that we find ourselves in right now,” he says. “It's very distressing seeing the number of people out there losing their jobs. I'm hoping that the Government does what it can and makes those right decisions so that we can all improve this and get back on our feet as quickly as possible.”
(...)
Liam says he was also left worried about new reports of a potentially lethal inflammatory syndrome in children that appears to be linked to coronavirus infections.
“To think of kids struggling, it really, really pulls on the heart strings, and I just can't imagine how people feel in that position.”
Liam reserves special praise for the army of NHS workers up and down the country and says how he has been joining in the Clap for our Heroes every Thursday.
And like so many other people he has been left horrified by the rising death toll among their ranks – not least as he recognises the important role the NHS played in his own life.
The star has previously said how he was born “effectively dead” with doctors having to bring him round. He was then in and out of hospital with kidney problems as a toddler.
Asked if he owed a personal debt to the NHS, he said: “I think so, definitely. Living in the country and having the NHS service, I think we have taken it for granted. It's unfortunate that it's only in times like these that we all suddenly realize that. I mean these guys literally put themselves at risk every day. It's wonderful to hear the clapping throughout the streets, and people really, really going for it.”
Work-wise, the lockdown has meant that Liam has had to put on hold a series of international dates over the summer including a gig in Russia.
“I hadn't been there before, even with One Direction, so I was quite miffed about,” he says. “But you have to do what you have to do in this circumstance. And I was actually meant to go to America at the time of this, and luckily I'd stayed put for the moment, I didn't want to be stuck away from all my family and everything, which would have been even harder.”
Instead he has taken on the rather unique challenge of putting on gigs from the confines of his London flat. As well as performing the One World Together at Home gig put on by Lady Gaga, he performed his new single Midnight with Alesso on James Corden's chatshow from both his frontroom and rooftop.
“I mean it's challenging to make things look interesting from home.... we were flying a drone around in here, what we’ll do next I don’t know..!” he laughs.
For someone who has been so open before about his mental health while in One Direction, I wonder how he is doing holed up away from his friends and family?
Liam has previously spoken about suffering chronic loneliness in the band and having to seek therapy because he was in such a “bad place”.
He says: “The thing that I'm trying to remember in my head is there are going to be bad days. There are going to be some days where you feel a bit down. But as long as you know that, you can kind of battle your way through it a little bit.
“But I think the main thing for me is just making sure I have a routine and setting mini goals and little victories like writing a song or making sure that I've been in touch with a family member that day.
“But I think one of the things we can all do to help each other is just by staying in touch. If you know somebody who's a little bit lonely or is struggling, reach out to them.”
Liam is supporting the Trussell Trust, an anti-poverty charity that supports a network of food banks and campaigns for a future where everyone can afford their own food. You can support their work by donating here – www.trusselltrust.org/make-a-donation/

Guidelines To Follow Prior To Hiring A Limousine Providers Company
I have been to Disney Globe, shall we say, several instances. Useless to say I have been on the rides also, shall we say, several instances. For somebody who has never been to Disney Globe, this can be fairly a challenging job realizing in which to go. With so numerous rides, if you have to select and pick, which kinds do you do? Nonetheless, never concern. Here is a quick list of the greatest rides that you can't miss, at the very least in my viewpoint.
Drive by The Cars - A slower tempo tune for the second when only the driver is still awake. It's received a great seem to it and is nevertheless great enough to keep the specified chauffeur service wolverhampton from nodding off at the wheel!
Brake Help - In accordance to Wikipedia, in 1998 mercedes Benz became the very first organization to make brake help regular on all of its automobiles. Volvo and BMW have also carried out this. Basically, it is what it states in its title: technologies to assist you with braking of the automobile. It is there to assure that there is enough pressure used to quit the car when and as it wants to be stopped.
Price is a significant factor. Larger rates do not always imply the greatest limosine or the most effective service. You need to actually fall by the rental business before you decide to lease a single. Analyze the condition of the limosine. Notice their procedure. This would provide you an idea on how they function.
In the morning, you will be served continental breakfast; right after that you will taken to a chauffeur driven automobile and finally you will be all established to try out day snowboarding. And if you are an beginner or a novice, you don't require to worry at all- there are various ski guiding solutions also available. If you have kids, a nursery will be arranged by your chalet for the kids. Right after the holiday receives over, you will be taken to the airport for the flight.

MOBILE MASTERLIST.
It’s about bloody time I created one that was a little easier for you guys to use. I know that my Masterlist has caused a few troublesome issues over the last few weeks so I can only pray that this works a little better for everyone. I think that this may be something much more handy than having to edit everything and all that jazz.
Italicised and bolded titles are titles belonging to stories which contain smut, or some GIFs and pictures that are on the rather graphic side, within them. But, of course, there are warnings at the top of each smut piece, just in case you go a little further.
If any problems do arise, let me know and I’ll get to working them out as soon as I possibly can. Let’s hope this is a lot easier to handle! I’ll slot this under a Keep Reading because it’s actually much longer than I thought it would be and I don’t want to upset people by clogging up their dashboard.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ALL REQUESTS FOR EVERYTHING, RIGHT NOW, ARE SHUT. ANY THAT GET SENT IN WILL NOT BE WRITTEN IMMEDIATELY. xx

It must have been well over a year ago now, when Liam Payne realised he had absolutely nothing interesting to say. The singer, known to most as ‘Liam from One Direction’ until the group’s indefinite hiatus in January 2016, had returned to the studio, settled into the idea of being a solo artist for the rest of his days, and promptly drawn a blank. He was, he says, just too darned happy to think of anything.
Everything in his life had fallen into place. He’d found love, moving in with Cheryl (formerly Cole), a fellow junior royal of the Top 40. Their first child, a son named Bear, was well on the way. He had signed a huge record deal with Capitol. He felt fitter and healthier than he had in years. And, yes, there’s no denying it: he was pretty pleased that he no longer had to be in the biggest boyband in the world.
‘I had a bit of a problem formulating what was going on in my brain into the music at first,’ he says, ‘because I was so content with everything in my personal life. It’s easy to spill your guts out on a ballad. But I was thinking, “Oh God, I’m really happy – what am I going to write about?!”’
More than 12 months on, the answer to that question still isn’t entirely clear. Payne’s debut album, as yet untitled, won’t be released until early 2018. There have been two singles, though, with a third, the unsubtly titled Bedroom Floor, arriving next month.
Of those we’ve heard, the first, Strip That Down, a R&B-inflected club hit released in May and co-written with Ed Sheeran, marked a departure from One Direction’s stadium pop-rock. It was also chock-full of hoary by-the-way-I’m-an-adult-now signposts: there are references to nightclubs, drinking rum and coke, driving Ferraris and having girls ‘grind’ on him. And mixed in with all that were lyrics that caused a minor stir among his acolytes: ‘You know I used to be in 1D, now I’m out, free / people want me for one thing, that’s not me’. Payne, it seems, is keen to reintroduce himself.
‘When I left the band, I felt a bit stranded,’ he says, when we meet in an enormous boardroom at his management’s offices. ‘It took time, but I know as an artist I am starting fresh now.’ He slaps the table with melodrama. ‘This is Moment One. It’s the start line.’
Liam Payne is 24 years old. He is athletically built, as anyone who has seen his shirtless Instagram posts will know, and kind of everyday handsome, in a Love Island, former-youth-footballer way. Both his arms and hands are almost entirely upholstered in tattoos, highlights of which include some thick black arrows on one forearm that look like road markings; the number ‘4’, in reference to One Direction’s 2014 album of the same name, on his ring finger; and, on his left arm, a scale depiction of Cheryl’s eye, that appears to follow you around the room as he gesticulates. ‘It’s so my missus can always keep an eye on me,’ he likes to say about that one.
He is impossibly nice. Before we meet, he plods through the office, saying hello to everybody in the building individually, and in most cases remembering something about them: that they beat him at Fifa last time he dropped by, so they must have a rematch before he leaves (‘I’ll whoop ya with West Brom!’), or they’ve surely had a haircut, haven’t they? (‘It looks really great anyway, man!’). It is the manner of somebody both impeccably raised and intensely keen for people to like him, and it appears genuine and successful.
To an extent, Payne says, the five members of One Direction – or four, after Zayn Malik left the band in 2015 – ended up playing characters over the six years they were together. Whereas the Beatles (arguably the only other group with a comparable scale and speed of world domination), grew increasingly cantankerous towards the end of the 1960s, One Direction stuck resolutely to the caricatures that fans and management assigned them right to the end.
Malik was brooding and mercurial, Harry Styles was a cool, flamboyant ladies’ man, Niall Horan was charming and laid-back, and Louis Tomlinson, who has since admitted to feeling a little redundant, was fun and energetic. And Payne? Well, Payne was The Responsible One.
‘I’ve always been a bit of an older soul,’ he says, mulling over his place. ‘It’s funny: there’s a thing on the net where the fans put what they think are our mental ages. All the boys were around their real ones, but then they put me at about 37.’
Payne admits to feeling a little daunted in 2010, when Simon Cowell thrust the band together on X Factor after they’d auditioned as solo artists. Keeping up with the other personalities in the gang was exhausting, so his coping mechanism was to attempt to rein them in as best he could, and work with management in doing so. Like the popular schoolboy teachers identify as mature enough to be a trusted emissary for his recalcitrant friends, Payne carved himself a valuable niche.
‘I was put with a group of rowdy teenagers, and when I was a teenager, I had mates, but I was always with my dad. I’d go out to the pub and chat with him. So when I was stuck with these boys I was thinking, “F— me, I don’t know how to do it.”
‘When something was going wrong, I’d get a phone call. If there was an apology needed, it was me. I was the spokesperson for the band, as it were, with the press and the label.’
Along with Tomlinson, Payne shares comfortably the most writing credits of the band on One Direction songs. Over their five albums, dozens of songwriting collaborators contributed to the group’s success, but it seems nobody worked harder than the two least-heralded members. Neither was the showiest or best singer; but they kept things ticking over.
One Direction’s hordes of fans around the world noticed the assumed roles, and nicknamed Payne ‘Daddy Directioner’. He lived up to it with them, too. In 2013, on tour in Australia, Payne tweeted a message to warn girls waiting outside the band’s hotel of snakes living in the surrounding fields. ‘It’s just not worth it someone’s gunna get hurt [sic],’ he pleaded.
Two years later, he gave an interview lamenting the fact he and the other boys were being sent sexually explicit pictures of themselves drawn by underage admirers. While the rest of the band seemed to find that funny, Payne called it ‘the sad and sorry side of what we’ve done.’ Yeah, all right, Dad.
Becoming a real-life father has at least given the nickname some purchase. Rumours swirled at the end of 2015 that he had started dating Cheryl – formerly Fernandez-Versini and Cole, née Tweedy – after her second marriage ended in divorce. By the next summer, she was pregnant with the second One Direction baby (Tomlinson, the eldest of the bunch, had one first).
The couple live in a mansion near Woking, Surrey, and aren’t married, but he considers them ‘basically at that stage’. Bear, with whom Payne is besotted, was born in March, and named for the growling noises he was making during his first sleeps. So far, no photographs have been released, but he instantly shows me one on his phone. And here, I can exclusively reveal that the heir Bear is – as you’d expect of a baby with that name, born of two professionally good-looking parents – very cute.
‘We’ve only shown him in glimpses,’ Payne says, explaining their decision to shield him. ‘We don’t want him to have the pressure that me and Cheryl have, as household names. We want him to enjoy himself first and then figure it out.’
Born and raised in Wolverhampton, Payne has an unexpectedly thick Midlands accent that gets thicker the longer he talks – which is a lot. His preferred conversational feature is the anecdote, resulting in a version of the phrase, ‘I remember, there was this one time…’ prefixing the majority of his utterances, which are in turn regularly punctuated with singular handclaps of self-incredulity. It can be mildly alarming, like interviewing a young, heavily-tattooed Ronnie Corbett, but I suppose it speaks to the amount of life experience he has already accrued.
Growing up, Payne’s father, Geoff, worked as a fitter, while his mother, Karen, was a nursery nurse. Money was tight and the house small, but he remembers it as a happy one.
‘My place was on the floor with the dog, there was no space on the sofa. It was great, though we didn’t have much. Dad was in debt, but they did the best they could. It makes you dream a bit, you know?’
As a child, he had two routes to possible stardom, both of which Geoff pushed hard for. One was singing, the other was long-distance running. For a time in his teens, Payne was one of the fastest 1500m runners in the country, getting up to train before school and seconds from qualifying for the London 2012 squad. It was before that, as a 14-year-old in 2008, that he first applied for X Factor.
Auditioning with Fly Me To The Moon, since it was one of the few songs he could manage while his voice was breaking, that year he got as far as the ‘judge’s houses’, before Simon Cowell told him to come back in two years and try again. He became a mini-celebrity back home in that between-period, and carried on performing around town. The adulation was short-lived, though.
Once, performing a Justin Timberlake cover at an under-18s gig in Oceana Wolverhampton, somebody lobbed a coin at his face and managed to draw blood. He laughs about it now. These days – admittedly a largely cashless society – it’s only bras and knickers they fling.
‘I had become less and less famous. One time, I was in McDonald’s with a girlfriend and someone shouted ‘X Factor reject!’ at me. The whole restaurant turned. It was like coming out of fame. So I knew what it was like at 15, and it helped me.’
Following Cowell’s advice, he returned to X Factor in 2010 and found himself shoved into One Direction with the four other boys, eventually finishing the competition in third place, but with easily the brightest future. Within weeks, he had moved out of his Wolverhampton bedroom and into a penthouse apartment in Canary Wharf.
And six years later, One Direction had sold more than 20 million records, become the first band in history to have their first four albums go to number one in the US, touring the world numerous times, and earned a preposterous amount of money in the process. Payne is now estimated to be worth £40 million. He hasn’t been back to Wolverhampton in a long time, but he paid off his father’s debts years ago, and bought his parents a new house in addition to funding the renovation of their family home. He refers to his time spent in One Direction as ‘like uni’.
When they were in the thick of things, all the boys used to obey Cowell’s omertà – relentless enthusiasm at all times, please – and never discussed any negative aspects of their experience. Now safely out the other side, Payne is frank on matters of burnout and claustrophobia.
‘Cabin fever. It sent me a bit AWOL at one point, if I’m honest. I can remember when there were 10,000 people outside our hotel. We couldn’t go anywhere. It was just gig to hotel, gig to hotel. And you couldn’t sleep, because they’d still be outside,’ he says, before telling several stories of how he and Tomlinson would sneak out of hotels just to feel freedom, only to find themselves bored once they got out.
‘People were speaking to me about mental health in music the other day, and that’s a big issue. Sometimes you just need some sun, or a walk.’
Every stop on tour became the same. Earlier this year, Payne was asked which was his favourite city of those he visited with One Direction. ‘One in Italy with a big white cathedral,’ he responded.(The band performed in Milan at least five times.)
‘One of the problems was that we never stopped to celebrate what we’d done. I remember us winning loads of American Music Awards and then having to get on a plane straight away. It got to the point where success was so fluid. I don’t even know what happened to our songs, we just sang them, then sang some more. It was like a proper, hard job. Non-stop. I can concentrate a lot more now.’
The paparazzi and fan attention sounds just as draining. It must feel weird having a Twitter following larger than the population of Australia, as he does, but especially odd to have fans so obsessed that they’ve set up multiple fake profiles pretending to be your mother, for some reason.
Moreover, footage of One Direction out and about makes A Hard Day’s Night look tame: thousands of screaming fans all over them, police escorts everywhere they went, an unending run of selfie requests... It came to a head in New York in 2012, when Payne was walking to a restaurant with his parents and a paparazzo accidentally pushed his mother over. He was incensed.
‘I was like, “Oh, f— this. F— this s—t.” There was a swarm of them and I just wanted a burger with my parents,’ he says, unsmiling for a moment. ‘I cried my eyes out. I thought, “I can’t do this”, and really hated my life.’
He soldiered on, but it wasn’t a healthy lifestyle; none of them seems to miss it now the ‘break’ is on.
‘It’s great that people can see what we’re really like away from each other,’ Payne says. ‘It got to a point in the band where we were just playing characters, and I was tired of my character. Apart from the daddy thing, I was really loud and bubbly. There were a lot of personalities in the band to keep up with, so I had to be all, ‘Ey!’, the rowdy lad, and I don’t have to now.’
There were times when the band would celebrate hard, and in that, Payne had catching up to do: as a child, he was diagnosed with a scarred kidney, meaning he didn’t taste alcohol until he was given the all-clear at 19. Tell a teenage millionaire they can now safely drink, and they’ll go for it. He admits ‘the floodgates opened’ that year.
‘I wasn’t happy. I went through a real drinking stage, and sometimes you take things too far. Everyone’s been that guy at the party where you’re the only one having fun, and there were points when that was me. I got to 13 stone, just eating crap. I got fat jibes, and it affects your head. I have nothing to hide about it…
‘As I say, it was like a musical university. We were pretty reckless, but I got it out of my system. I had my fun.’
The hiatus seems to have come at just the right time. But before he could take a breath, Payne lurched on in life, becoming involved with Cheryl almost at once.
Nobody asks how they met; their introduction is on YouTube for all to see. Ten years his senior, she was an X Factor judge in 2008 when the 14-year-old Payne shuffled in, all mop-hair and waistcoat, to perform his Sinatra number. He winked at her, she called him ‘cute’, they bumped into one another over the years, ended up working on a remix of one of her songs in 2014, and the rest is recent pop history.
Not everybody was happy when the relationship was initially confirmed. That Cheryl was in a quasi-pastoral role when they met raised eyebrows in the usual eyebrow-raising camps, as did the couple’s decade-wide age gap. Liam doesn’t care. In fact, he can still barely get over the fact she’s his girlfriend.
‘It’s a ridiculous place to be in,’ he says. ‘She’s even more amazing than I thought. I was watching her do Fight For This Love [her debut solo single, from 2009] when I was a kid, and now we’re together with a kid. I feel like I’m X Factor’s biggest winner.’
It helps having Cheryl around to ask about business matters. Like Payne, she was scouted on a TV pop contest (2002’s Popstars: The Rivals), had massive success in a group (Girls Aloud), and then went solo with a more urban sound. She is also the unlikely possessor of the record for number-one singles by a British woman.
‘We think about the same things. She understands what my life is like. She knows what it’s like to sit on the Graham Norton couch [or] we can talk about her L’Oréal work. It’s not that we’re “a brand” as a family, but we can help each other.’
In Who We Are, one of One Direction’s seven books, published in 2014, Payne writes in his chapter that he’s ‘worried about the idea of failing outside of this band’ and declared he’d become a low-key songwriter, because ‘there would be less attention on my life’.
The opposite of that is what’s happening, I inform him.
‘Yeah, that was a point when I was scared of our success, and we didn’t want to take a step back from it,’ he says. ‘I just wanted to be a songwriter and not be famous, but happy. Then Simon and Cheryl told me this is where I am supposed to be, and I’d miss the stage. The pressure of what was coming next was scary, but they talked me down.’
The solo product he’s come up with is the sort of music he’d always wanted to make: radio-friendly R&B in the style of his heroes, Justin Timberlake, Usher and Pharrell Williams, and more informed by the rap music he listens to than the pop he’s famous for. Who knows if he can shake the ‘embarrassing dad’ brand to pull it off, but the signs point to success. Strip That Down has been streamed more than 300 million times on Spotify alone.
‘I wanted this to be for people my age. The themes are a bit older, but you have to grow up with your fans. I can’t make bubblegum pop any more,’ he says.
One Direction fans needn’t despair. They might have dispersed and almost all signed elsewhere, but Payne is excited about the idea of a comeback gig in years to come. As, I’m sure, are the band’s accountants.
But that won’t be for a little while, if Payne has it his way, because – as he keeps on telling me – he is just far too happy with his lot at the moment to take a step backwards. When it reaches our time to wrap up, he’s still at it.
‘I feel great about what’s going on in my life,’ he says, giving it one last handclap and springing to his feet. ‘I’m extremely lucky. I feel like I’m in a comatose dream. I’m like, “when did I last bump my head?” because I can’t believe this…’

Some upcoming films:
Apples are not the only fruit. I think that tomatoes are too, but I'm not sure; I'll look it up.
Swirly Fortescue (Bobby Ball) is an ageing gay fella living in San Francisco with his younger lover Busty Hamilton (Dean Gaffney). The local government has decided to bulldoze the entire area that these two live in so that a lucrative bingo and whist drive hall can be built, and, due to Swirly having bet all their savings on Sunderland staying in the Premier League, they are totally skint, and have no choice but to move in with Busty’s homophobic, beer-swilling older brother Bruck (John Goodman). What follows is a moving look at the breaking down of barriers and prejudices, as Bruck slowly begins to appreciate musicals, John Barrowman, washing his pits and genitals EVERY day, and arty black and white posters of blokes with their big cocks out dotted all over the walls of his home, whilst simultaneously teaching them about indoor plumbing (not a euphemism), the correct belt fitting on your jeans so that just the right amount of bum-cleavage shows on the building site when you bend over, and farting into your mate’s pint in the pub when he goes for a shit.
No-one came back alive; not even me.
Drudge Hanktankerson (Clint Eastwood), is an old-timey sort living in a retirement home in California. Over time this cantankerous old codger befriends the young nurse L’il Sue Sugarstick (you won’t know her; crackin’ tits though), and eventually he begins to regale her with the harrowing tales of his time during World War Two. You will cry with her as he tells of his eighteen year old friend Brank Guthammmer dying screaming alone in a shell-hole, after a Stuka blows both his earlobes off; you will laugh as Drudge regales her with lighter battlefield moments, such as the time the lads painted a hand-grenade to look like a tin of Skol, and gave it to “Simple Dave” to pull the ring-pull; you will cry again as the lads bury Simple Dave ten minutes later; and you will have uncomfortable feelings, and mutter “this bit’s shit” to your girlfriend, during the bit where the young soldiers skinny dip in a French river.
Cropper.
In this long-overdue Hollywood blockbuster based on the Coronation Street character, Channing Tatum is Roy Cropper, a man slightly flustered one reasonably busy Tuesday afternoon, when a minibus full of pensioners stops by and cleans him out of baps. In a performance already creating a strong Oscar buzz, Channing displays the full gamut of Roy’s emotional range, as we watch him ring Rita (Meryl Streep) to see if she has any baps in stock, and ask Gemma (Elizabeth Hurley) to mind the shop for a bit while he nips to the Cash and Carry.
Deaded to Death.
Steven Segal (no way!) is Bronson Masticator, a retired UFC bigbone-weight world champion, down on his luck after gambling and drinking away all of his fortune. He now ekes out a living as a human panda in a shit zoo in the rough part of a rough town in a rough, intentionally vague South American country. He also bounces for a share of the tips and all the Fray Bentos pies he can eat at a local titty bar, run by the shady gangster Fuego “the castrator” Del Monte. One night Bronson witnesses a couple of Fuego’s heavies manhandling Paula Shane, the massively-popular drag tribute to Hi-de-Hi actor Paul Shane, currently on a massive stadium tour of South America, into the back of the club. Upon waking up the next morning in his rusty old caravan, he turns on his cracked old black and white television to see that the news is devoted to a $50 million ransom demanded for the return of Paula, and he must decide whether to do the right thing and take on his boss and assorted henchmen and free Paula, or keep his mouth shut and keep the Fray Bentos flowing.
Paedon't you want Me?
Gareth Possibly is a shy, thirty-four year old hamster-herder from Wolverhampton, who forms an attachment to Samantha Alannsuger, who moves in next door with her mother. A sweet bond unfolds between the pair of them over one long, hot summer, with Gareth slowly emerging from his brittle shell in the company of this talkative giggler, but complications inevitably set in as feelings go unreciprocated, and the nursery threaten to call the authorities if he doesn’t back off.
Blood of the Chaffinch.
Even eighteen year olds are advised to watch this accompanied by an older adult, so frightening is it rumoured to be. In Argentina forty two women fainted just upon seeing a badly-bootlegged t-shirt bearing the lead chaffinch hanging on a washing line, and at the premiere in Los Angeles one woman went into labour in the cinema, despite not being pregnant when the film started. The baby came out covered in BLOOD. Due to these haunting stories, the film has gained notoriety even before its world-wide release, and many reckon that it will do for chaffinches what Jaws did for Great Whites.
Cold cold Heart.
This Inuit romance wowed the critics at the inaugural Macduff film festival, causing many of the film critics to pretend to shed a manly tear, in the hope of a sympathy tug in the bogs afterwards. Wee Beely Johnson is a lonely Inuit igloo salesman, doomed to a solitary life spent ploughing the snowwoman he has built most nights, or trying to convince himself that the three month old seal carcass in his front room is a comely mermaid. One night he finds a woman trapped by her leg in a bear trap he has set, and as she slowly recuperates in his igloo conservatory, feelings grow. It takes him four hours to feel his way through all the layers of fur, but eventually the relationship is consummated, and they live happily ever after. Well, until she starts to rot, being a fucking bear corpse that the mad old cunt has been shagging in the delusion that it’s a tidy bint.
The wrong Trousers.
Hollywood live-action remake of Wallace and Gromit, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Wallace, and Andy Serkis as a motion-capture CGI Gromit. In this slightly-tweaked story Wallace is a grizzled cop who doesn’t play by the rules, and Gromit is his loyal German Shepherd police dog. When investigating a drug deal the pair come to the attentions of the powerful drug lord “El Capitano”, who kills all of Gromit’s closest relatives, and blows up Wallace’s opulent beach-front property; that he can somehow afford on his policeman’s salary. The pair must hunt down El Capitano and put him out of business before he does the same to them, something not helped by Wallace’s alcohol problem. Also starring Charize Theron as the love interest. For Wallace, you sick bastard.
"Sorry Dad, you're breaking up, I'm just heading into a fudge tunnel".
This hilarious comedy stars Zac Efron as Billy Fronc, an eighteen year old who lives for partying with his friends. Mark Wahlberg is his seventeen year old buddy, “Stoner” Crud Mazzwick, and Adam Sandler is twenty year old layabout Freez Dirklange. After losing a bet with Crud’s older brothers Broxton and Steele, the three must spend a Saturday night at the city’s notorious gay club Oooooo, Get You! Initially reluctant to mingle in case they catch gay, after a few rounds of confidence-boosting and trouser-slackening tequila they are soon dancing up a storm on the dancefloor with their new friends. Well, apart from Wahlberg’s character of course; he had it written into the script that he won’t let any “bummer” near his meat and two meat (no girly veg for Mark), and in fact his character gets into a fight with three burly homosexual men after one of them gives a lascivious look in the vague direction of Mark’s ashtray.
Mark wins.
Obviously.
No room at the inn for Jar Jar.
This sombre, black and white documentary follows what happens to Jar Jar Binks, after his unpopular starring role in some shit prequel or other. A sobering look at the American dream gone wrong, we follow a desolate Jar Jar as he repeatedly auditions for further acting roles, only to be turned away time and time again. We watch his slow descent into alcoholism, every drink punctuated by his sobbed mutterings of “Meesa fuckwit”, as he tortures himself watching a worn-out DVD of his only major role over and over again.
No tulips in December.
Sally Algernon (Dot Cotton) has been living in the old people’s home of her quiet part of Boston for seven years now. Her husband long dead and her children busy washing their hair, besides exchanging pleasantries with the nurses she has little to fill her days, apart from an ongoing feud with Gertrude Begonia (Honor Blackman) over who gets to sit in the best chair in the TV room. All this changes when a new gardener, Bowl Funterton (Russ Abbott), begins tending the gardens of the home (again, not a euphemism). Seeing his shirtless exertions, with his darts-honed physique and rippling liver spots, awakens feelings in Sally that she had thought long dormant. Soon she is flirting suggestively over a plate of Hobnobs, and being “accidently” caught walking cardigan-less in front of her window, with its deliberately open curtains. Unfortunately, there is a spanner in the works in her attempts to attract his attentions: she is surrounded by young, attractive NURSES, so she could ride a unicorn whilst juggling the Arsenal youth team and farting the theme tune to EastEnders perfectly, and she still wouldn’t be able to drag Bowl’s eyes away from young Samantha’s shapely arse.
A banjo for Billy.
Cuthbert Faintlyaromatic and his wife Cynthia are dealt a crushing blow when, after seven years of trying, they finally have a child, only for young Billy to be born with the rare disease Kenny Loggins’ contraption. With knees for eyes, hairy teeth, a hunch-back AND a hunch-bum, continuous flatulence, an ingrown penis (on his tongue), and an allergy to his own nostrils, there is as yet no known cure for this horrible affliction, and those first few months tested their partnership to its limits. Just when things seemed totally desolate, a kindly doctor rescues them from despair, when he hands over an old banjo of his Grandads in exchange for Billy, as he needs something to lay on the floor in front of his living room door, to keep the draught out. Oh, did you think that maybe Billy would grow up and find meaning in his existence with the discovery of a musical gift or summat? Sorry.

Brisbane’s best kid-friendly cafes and restaurants
You’ve got one or a bunch of rowdy kids. You’re on edge after de-crusting your billionth sandwich and can’t bring yourself to butter another slice of bread. Why not take the troupe out to one of Brisbane’s best kid-friendly cafes and restaurants so someone else has the pleasure of creating kid-approved cuisine? Not to mention dealing with the post-apocalyptic level clean-up after your clan is finished.
If you’re looking for cafes with play nooks to keep the little ones busy while you take a breather, plus kids’ menus that delight even the trickiest junior MasterChef judge, here’s our round-up of the top cafes and restaurants in Brisbane to dine out with the family.
Miss Bliss Whole Foods Kitchen, West End
Order at the counter and head straight to the back to let the kids loose in the astroturfed ‘backyard’ at one of the best kid-friendly cafes in West End. There’s a table for littlies with toys aplenty and tonnes of comfy bench space for the older kids.
This place is known for its organic goodness (the menu is also loaded with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options), so adventurous children might like the mini mango chia pudding with fresh fruit from the Baby Bliss menu. They also stock old-school favourites here like soft-boiled eggs with soldiers and avo to keep everyone happy.
For adults, it’s all about the bowls on the all-day menu. Try the caramel crunch acai bowl or crispy skin salmon poke bowl and wash it down with a summer greens smoothie.
Where: 85 Vulture St, West End. Open: Weekdays from 6:30am ’til 3:30pm, Saturday and Sunday from 7am ’til 3pm.
Smug Fig Cafe, East Brisbane
Open for brekkie and lunch, the Smug Fig is a cute kid-friendly cafe inside a garden nursery. The kids’ menu is full of popular picks like waffles, bacon and eggs, and toasted banana bread with ice-cream, as well as shakes, juice and babycinos.
Explore the nursery with the kids or sit towards the back of the cafe to draw on the chalkboard, play with the toys and read the books in the kids’ nook.
Parents will love the Smug Fig’s out-there all-day brunch menu featuring pumpkin and corn fritters, breakfast tots with Spanish chorizo or the jerk chicken burger. Even the crushed avo is next level, served on organic sourdough with pumpkin hummus, semi-dried tomato and dukkah. Be sure to ask what the French toast special of the day is – you might end up with an epic Bubble-O-Bill inspired artwork that tastes as good as it looks.
Where: 999 Stanley St East, East Brisbane. Open: Monday to Saturday from 7am ’til 3pm, Sundays from 8am til 3pm.
Monkey Bar Cafe, Greenslopes
This cafe is besties with its next-door neighbour, aka a huge playground, which makes it a perfect spot for sunny days. Your mini-mes will also love brekkie menu items like the mini pancake stack or sourdough toast with Vegemite and a poached egg.
Lunch for the little ones is sorted with mini bolognese or crumbed chicken and chips; while parents can gorge on the loaded veggie fritters or spicy bruschetta from the all-day breakfast menu. Everyone in the fam can up their antioxidant or dairy intake with a milkshake or smoothie, like the ice-cold berry concoction.
Where: 98 Victoria Terrace, Greenslopes. Open: Monday to Friday from 6:30am ’til 1:30pm, Saturday and Sunday from 6:30am ’til 1:30pm.
Carport Cafe, Cannon Hill
You’d be forgiven for driving by this hidden kid-heaven without noticing it. Keep an eye out for the colourful sign at the front, run to the counter and bag a spot near the kids’ table and leafy garden out the back.
You’ll find tonnes of books, chalk, toys and even a doll’s house to keep your little people busy while you try a sweet treat or something more serious from the Carport Cafe menu. The brekkie stack is your friend if you’re into honey-roasted pumpkin, spinach, grilled tomato and halloumi. After all, life is better with halloumi.
If you’re visiting around lunchtime, try the chicken burger or feta, avocado, walnuts and roasted pumpkin salad. The kids’ menu has faves like eggs or house-made beans on toast and cheese toasties. For chilled drinks, try Carport’s cold-pressed juices (we recommend the lychee kiss), smoothies and milkshakes.
As well as being one of the best kid-friendly cafes around, Carport is dog-friendly too.
Where: 3 Pickwick St, Cannon Hill. Open: Daily from 6:30am ’til 2pm.
Chapter IV, Paddington
Chapter IV is the perfect family-friendly cafe with an epic all-day brekkie menu and a gated play area. Mums and dads will love the breakfast options, from soft shell crab eggs bennie to coconut waffles with Nutella brownie ice-cream, brekky reuben, and crispy potato and cheddar hash cakes. *wipes drool*
The kids can enjoy a cheesy grin toastie, scrambled eggs, zoo-friend pancakes or dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets. Little ones can also go for a babycino or milkshake (regular flavours like vanilla and chocolate are on offer, as well as hazelnut and frosted mint).

Little and big people will love the acai bowls, ‘nicecream’ and raw treats. Aside from the colourful food and drinks on offer at this healthy hotspot, kids will dig the peekaboo opportunities in the tee-pee, cubby to climb on, books, board games and toys.
Bonus: If you need to stock up on bananas and other staples, you can also buy your fruit and veg here, too.
Where: 473 South Pine Road, Everton Park. Open: Daily from 6am ’til 10pm.
Willow & Spoon, Wilston
The outdoor kids’ play area at Willow & Spoon is more like a family backyard, decked out with a chalkboard, play kitchen, games and toys that’s all in full view of the covered dining area. Oh, and it’s pet-friendly too!
Kids can keep things simple for both breakfast and lunch with cheese and Vegemite or Nutella toasties, muesli with honey milk, or fruit and marshmallow kebabs. The kids’ beverage options include cloudy apple or orange juice; or for something of the dairy persuasion, a babycino or kids-sized milkshake.
Parents can nibble on the extensive brunch menu which ranges from brioche French toast with peanut and chocolate Nutella butter to poached eggs with pulled beef and smoked cheese sauce. Fancy!
These guys are serious about sweets, with a separate dessert menu featuring apple and rhubarb crumble with lavender cream, and toasted banana bread with ricotta, honey and walnut butter.

Plum Tucker, Red Hill
Think you know avo on toast? Think again. Plum Tucker serves up two options for this staple brekky dish: go simple with black sesame and lemon, or indulge in the sweet potato and red harissa variation served with miso dressed greens and dukkah.
There’s a great kids’ area upstairs, which is also available for kids’ parties. On the menu are old faithfuls like gooey eggs with soldiers, cheese on toast, and bacon and egg rolls, plus babycinos (complete with sprinkles and marshmallows), AJ and OJ, milkshakes and smoothies.
Where: 5 Enoggera Terrace, Red Hill. Open: Daily from 6am ’til 2pm.
The Soul Pantry Kitchen, Stafford
The Soul Pantry Kitchen is a shopping hub for locally-sourced food, plants and homewares. And it’s kid-friendly to boot. The café has loads of vegetarian and gluten-free breakfast and lunch options – think quiches or a nourish bowl for parents, and seasonal fruit salad or avocado on toast for the little ones.
The large warehouse space has a workshop out the back and a great indoor area for kids to play while you’re getting caffeinated for the day. During school holidays, kids can even learn about plant selection, design and care at the Kids Adventure Garden Workshops.
Where: 31 Wolverhampton St, Stafford. Open: Tuesday to Friday from 8am ’til 4pm, Saturday from 8am ’til 2pm.
Tiddlywinks Dance and Play Cafe, Nundah
Present and future dance mums and dads, warm up your jazz hands! If your little ones like to get their groove on and shake it all about, head to Tiddlywinks in Nundah. More of an indoor play centre than a specialist café, Tiddlywinks features a three-storey playground and toddler area, plus daily disco for kids (parents can share their moves as well for a dose of huffy puffy).
To refuel, kids can chow down on healthy freshly-prepared meals and fruit from the cafe (gluten-free, vegan and nut-free options available), while parents can sip on coffee.
Where: 264 Melton Road, Nundah. Open: Tuesday to Friday from 9:30am ’til 2:30pm, Saturday from 9am ’til 4pm, Sunday from 1pm ’til 4:30pm.
Kids Play Cafe, Pure Tennis, Ferny Hills
Junior Lleyton Hewitts and Serena Williams’ in-the-making, rejoice! Tennis and non-tennis loving families will love the Pure Tennis Kids Play Cafe’s outdoor (but undercover) area surrounded by lush trees and loads of toys, cubbies and mini-cars.
The Kids Play Cafe has you sorted for coffees, milkshakes, slushies and juices, and snacks galore in between your tennis matches – or lessons, which kids over three can take at Pure Tennis Academy.
Where: 144 Samford Road, Ferny Hills. Open: Monday to Saturday from 9am ’til 12pm.
Victoria Park Bistro, Herston
Whether your family travels with matching golf clubs and visors or you just like to get outdoorsy with some casual putt putt, head to Victoria Park Bistro at Victoria Park Golf Complex to get tasty options for breakfast right through to dinner.
Kids can go sweet or savoury at brekkie with Dutch pancakes with berries, syrup and ice-cream; or bacon and eggs on sourdough, and hash browns with tomato sauce. Lunch and dinner options range from mini cheeseburgers to fish and chips and pizzas.
There’s loads of seating outside right beside the wooden playground, cubby and farm tractor.
Where: 59 Herston Road, Herston. Open: Monday and Tuesday from 7am ’til 3pm, Wednesday and Sunday from 7am ’til 8pm, Thursday to Saturday from 7am ’til 9pm.

Serving up food-truck cuisine to the masses each Saturday night, you’re guaranteed live music, tasty street food and great vibes – and you’ll be able to put the little guys to bed before they lose it or eat too many giant lammies.
With so many different types of food all under the one roof, it’s the perfect place for the kiddies to expand their tastebuds. There’s outdoor seating and space around the tables or the dance floor to let them do their thing in between feasting.

SUMMARY BLOG POST 1
I chose the live project, 'Arts and education' because I knew it would benefit me in becoming a teacher. I've worked in a nursery and a few primary schools but I wanted to experience work in a secondary school. We started the project by visiting the school and were introduced to the students and their teacher. Our work placement group discussed the teachers lesson plan and teaching style of the session we sat in on, so we could decide what we would take or change for our lesson plan. I decided I liked the teachers style of teaching; She was relaxed so the students wouldn't feel too much pressure therefore more eager to participate, I noticed she didn't pick on individuals to answer questions instead she went around in tables so I think its a more comfortable environment and eliminates elements of anxiety or being self conscious for the students in the classroom, It's a friendly atmosphere which I think is important in a classroom and I will take these factors into consideration when I plan the lessons. We took part in activities with the students, we were told what their project is about and even attempted it. We practiced little tasks such as; Drawing the person opposite of you in 60 seconds, Folding up a piece of paper and then drawing a part of the face and passing the paper on so everyone draws different parts and then the final piece is revealed when the paper is unfolded. After this days experience, we (university students) planned an activity for the following week for the students. We were each to bring in our selfie (no filter) & an object that describes them. We will be using the picture to do a collage and the objects are for them to talk about so we can get to know them better. The lesson plan was timed perfectly , It wasn't rushed, and we were done in time for lunch.
From this we were able to get an idea of what we wanted our live projects to be about. I originally chose 'selfies' as my project basis because I thought it worked well with their projects on self-portraits. In the present day we don't tend to have self portraits done because everyone has access to selfies, its faster and more convenient and its free. This led me to think why stop at selfies of the face because the face isn't the only thing people are told by social media to be insecure about, body image plays a big part in insecurity. So my theme became body image and how factors like photoshop and Instagram aids insecurity.
In the following weeks we were to go to Wolverhampton art gallery which is where the students would participate in another activity that we plan. We had a couple of weeks to make a plan for the lesson/trip. My group came up with the idea for the students to take pictures of the art work in the gallery and make memes out of them. Mixing the historical art work with modern day trends. Its also easy to do as it can be done on their phones, its both fun and creative, it makes them focus on the art pieces instead of breezing past them in the gallery, they have to put thought into what to write in the meme for it to make sense.

Horse racing: For Your Eyes Only
(New post on FreeBetAlerts.com) - https://freebetalerts.com/2018/11/04/horse-racing-for-your-eyes-only/ #Freebets, #HorseRacing, #Tips
Horse racing: For Your Eyes Only Please share.
Nick Seddon identifies three trainers who are in good form at present and picks out some interesting horses that may run for them in the next few days.
Flat Trainer: Roger Varian (Click to see a full list of entries) Roger Varian has a habit of finishing the year strongly, as the graph below shows, though the yard has enjoyed a particularly strong second half of the year this time around, performing above average since the end of June.
Varian has several interesting entries next week, including Fabiolla, who is entered at Kempton on Monday and at Chelmsford on Wednesday. She produced a very promising effort to finish second on debut at Yarmouth last month, and a bit more know how may have even seen her win, running green before being hampered a furlong out and taking second close home. The daughter of New Approach is sure to progress and win races, and whilst she’s likely to come into her own as a three-year-old, she’ll take all the beating if taking her chance next week. Also entered at Kempton on Monday is Contrive, who got off the mark at Lingfield two starts ago before proving better than ever back in handicap company last time. She was suited by the positive tactics those day, only headed on the line, and raised just 3 lb, she should continue to give a good account. On Tuesday, Varian has four entered in a novice contest at Kempton, the most interesting being Surfman (also entered at Nottingham on Wednesday). The son of Kingman is bred in the purple (half-brother to smart Kitesurf), and he shaped well when third on his debut at Nottingham last month, held back by inexperience but staying well under pressure. He’s surely going to make into a useful 3-y-o at least, but a novice contest looks well within his remit this term. Dashed is another who showed plenty to work with on her debut, when sixth at Yarmouth last month, and is worth noting if taking up either of her two entries; at Redcar on Tuesday and at Chelmsford on Wednesday. Jumps Trainer: Chris Gordon As you can see on the graph below, the Chris Gordon yard tends to blow either hot or cold, with little room for middle ground, but they are enjoying a good spell as the 2018/19 National Hunt season begins to take over from the level.
Gordon has three entries at Plumpton on Monday, beginning with Baddesley Knight, who also has entries at Chepstow on Wednesday and Newbury on Thursday. He showed improved form to open his account in bumpers at the third attempt at Plumpton in April, running to a fairly useful level, and he looks a nice hurdling prospect this term. Also entered at Plumpton on Monday are Ramore Will and Don’t Tell George, who are both due to run in the handicap hurdle on the card. The latter has shown only modest form in three starts over timber so far, and it is Ramore Will who would be of more interest if indeed taking his chance. He rounded off his campaign in fine form, putting in a solid effort in his bid for a hat-trick at Fontwell in May, and is likely to remain competitive now dropped 1 lb provided he’s ready to go on reappearance. Later in the week, Shut The Box has an entry in a bumper at Chepstow on Wednesday. He had made an encouraging start to his career so far, shaping well after a 6 month break to finish second at Fontwell last month, having plenty of excuses for failing to see things out better (absence/longer trip/more testing going), and it would be no surprise should he be good enough to win a similar race. Under The Radar: Declan Carroll Declan Carroll is finishing the year strongly, recording two wins from five starts last week, and his string are performing well above average at the moment – as the graph below shows.
Carroll has a small but select number of entries next week, including Pindaric and Buonarrotti, who are both entered at Redcar on Monday. The former has slipped to a basement mark, and took a step in the right direction when fifth at Newcastle in August, though he would need more now in selling company, and as such it is Buonarrottiwho is the more interesting of the pair. He turned in a rare poor effort at Haydock last time, but he’s generally held his form well this year, and it is worth noting that he won on testing ground at Ayr this time last year, from a mark 2 lb higher than his current one. Jem Scuttle also holds an entry on Monday, in a nursery at Wolverhampton. He improved a chunk when second on his nursery debut at Newcastle last time, starting at a lowly level for one that cost £70,000, and he is likely to remain competitive raised 3 lb. Magojiro is also entered on the card, and would hold claims if continuing his recent run of consistency, hitting the frame at Newcastle on Friday. Later in the week, Carroll has three entries at Nottingham on Wednesday, the most interesting of which is Honey GG. She showed a huge upturn in form from out of the blue to open her account at the tenth attempt at Ayr last month, forging clear to win by four and a half lengths, and an 11 lb rise may not be enough to stop her from following up.

Inspiring: 10-Year Old Math Genius Already Attending College!
Note: the article below was written in 2015.
At first glance Esther Okade seems like a normal 10-year-old. She loves dressing up as Elsa from "Frozen," playing with Barbie dolls and going to the park or shopping.
But what makes the British-Nigerian youngster stand out is the fact that she's also a university undergraduate. Esther, from Walsall, an industrial town in the UK's West Midlands region, is one of the country's youngest college freshmen.
The talented 10-year-old enrolled at the Open University, a UK-based distance learning college, in January and is already top of the class, having recently scored 100% in a recent exam.
"It's so interesting. It has the type of maths I love. It's real maths -- theories, complex numbers, all that type of stuff," she giggles. "It was super easy. My mum taught me in a nice way."
She adds: "I want to (finish the course) in two years. Then I'm going to do my PhD in financial maths when I'm 13. I want to have my own bank by the time I'm 15 because I like numbers and I like people and banking is a great way to help people."
And in case people think her parents have pushed her into starting university early, Esther emphatically disagrees.
"I actually wanted to start when I was seven. But my mum was like, "you're too young, calm down." After three years of begging, mother Efe finally agreed to explore the idea.
A marvelous mathematical mind
Esther has always jumped ahead of her peers. She sat her first Math GSCE exam, a British high school qualification, at Ounsdale High School in Wolverhampton at just six, where she received a C-grade. A year later, she outdid herself and got the A-grade she wanted. Then last year she scored a B-grade when she sat the Math A-level exam.
Esther's mother noticed her daughter's flair for figures shortly after she began homeschooling her at the age of three. Initially, Esther's parents had enrolled her in a private school but after a few short weeks, the pair began noticing changes in the usually-vibrant youngster.
Efe says: "One day we were coming back home and she burst out in tears and she said 'I don't ever want to go back to that school -- they don't even let me talk!'
"In the UK, you don't have to start school until you are five. Education is not compulsory until that age so I thought OK, we'll be doing little things at home until then. Maybe by the time she's five she will change her mind."
"In the UK, you don't have to start school until you are five. Education is not compulsory until that age so I thought OK, we'll be doing little things at home until then. Maybe by the time she's five she will change her mind."
Efe started by teaching basic number skills but Esther was miles ahead. By four, her natural aptitude for maths had seen the eager student move on to algebra and quadratic equations.
And Esther isn't the only maths prodigy in the family. Her younger brother Isaiah, 6, will soon be sitting his first A-level exam in June.
A philanthropic family
Not content with breaking barriers to attend college at just 10 years old, Esther is also writing a series of math workbooks for children called "Yummy Yummy Algebra."
"It starts at a beginner level -- that's volume one. But then there will be volume two, and volume three, and then volume four. But I've only written the first one.
"As long as you can add or subtract, you'll be able to do it. I want to show other children they are special," she says.
Meanwhile, Esther's parents are also trying to trail blaze their own educational journey back in Nigeria.
The couple have set up a foundation and are in the process of building a nursery and primary school in Nigeria's Delta region (where the family are from). Named "Shakespeare's Academy," they hope to open the school's doors in September.
The proposed curriculum will have all the usual subjects such as English, languages, math and science, as well as more unconventional additions including morality and ethics, public speaking, entrepreneurship and etiquette. The couple say they want to emulate the teaching methods that worked for their children rather than focus on one way of learning.
"Some children learn very well with kinesthetics where they learn with their hands -- when they draw they remember things. Some children have extremely creative imaginations. Instead of trying to make children learn one way, you teach them based on their learning style," explains Efe.
The educational facility will have a capacity of 2,000 to 2,500 students with up to 30% of students being local children offered scholarships to attend.
Efe says: "On one hand, billions of dollars worth of crude oil is pumped out from that region on a monthly basis and yet the poverty rate of the indigenous community is astronomical."
While Paul adds: "(The region has) poor quality of nursery and primary education. So by the time the children get secondary education they haven't got a clue. They haven't developed their core skills.
"The school is designed to give children an aim so they can study for something, not just for the sake of acquiring certifications. There is an end goal."

Maths prodigy, 10, enrols on degree course
Esther Okade, from Walsall, is finding time between playing with her dolls to study a maths degree with the Open University.
She's a big fan of Disney's Frozen, and loves playing with her dolls. But Esther Okade is also a university undergraduate after starting a degree at the age of ten.
Esther, one of the UK's youngest university students, is studying for a maths degree with the Open University.
She enrolled three weeks ago and is already top of the class, scoring 100 per cent on a recent test.
Esther, from Walsall, in the West Midlands, isn't the only member of her family with a talent for numbers - her six-year-old brother Isaiah is already taking an A-level in maths.
Her mother, Efe, said applying to the university was "an interesting process because of her age."
She said: "We even had to talk to the Vice Chancellor."
"After they interviewed her they realised that this has been her idea from the beginning.
"From the age of seven Esther has wanted to go to university.
"But I was afraid it was too soon. "She would say, 'Mum, when am I starting?', and go on and on and on.
"Finally, after three years she told me, 'Mum I think it is about time I started university now."
Esther applied in August, and after a phone interview, an essay and a maths exam, she finally got the news in December that she had been accepted onto the course.
"She was flying," said Efe. "She was so happy."
"She is doing so well. She took a test recently and scored 100 per cent.
"Esther talks about running her own bank one day," added Efe. "She has a lot of plans, and talks a lot about finances.
"She says she wants to be a millionaire.
"Isaiah is following in his sister's footsteps. He is doing calculus and advanced algebra.
"Even when he was in my tummy Esther was already teaching him." Eshter isn't the youngest child ever to be enrolled on a university course.
In 1981 Ruth Lawrence, from Brighton, passed the Oxford exam at 10 years old. She graduated in 1985 at the age of 13 with a first class degree in Mathematics.
Esther Okade made headlines in 2015 after a CNN report revealed that the British-Nigerian youngster was one of U.K’s youngest college freshmen, after she enrolled at the Open University, a UK-based distance learning college, in January 2015 at the age of 10 and was on top of her class.
Esther is set to earn her PhD by 2018.

APRIL 10TH IN THE ARSENAL DIARY......... On this day in 1882 Walter Rayner was born in Wanstead, London. He gets a mention here as he was a guest player for Arsenal during World War I. He made 10 appearances and scored 4 goals during the 1917/1918 season while signed officially to Croydon Common. After he retired from playing he later went on to become Charlton Athletic's first ever professional manager. Today in 1897 Woolwich Arsenal had no fixture so a match was organised at the Manor Ground against the Reserves. The second string side won the practice match 1-2 with Adam Haywood scoring for the first team. The Division 2 match today in Plumstead was against Chesterfield Town. It ended in a 3-0 victory for Woolwich Arsenal with goals from Thomas Briercliffe and William Gooing and a helping hand from the visitors with an own goal. Woolwich Arsenal were at Goodison Park on this date in 1907. Charlie Satterthwaite added to his goal tally but the Gunners lost 2-1 to Everton. A much happier result today in 1909 when Woolwich Arsenal beat Blackburn Rovers 1-3 at Ewood Park. Harold Lee, Charles Lewis and David Neave all on the scoresheet. At Edgeley Park today in 1914 Woolwich Arsenal couldn't find a goal and were defeated 2-0 by Stockport County. Bury were at Highbury on this date in 1915 and Arsenal got a comfortable 3-1 victory. Billy Blyth got a goal and John Flanagan's brace completed the win. There would only be two more matches for Arsenal in Division 2 before being voted into Division 1 and remaining in the top flight to this day. Today in 1919 Leslie Knighton (picture top left) joined Arsenal as manager. Despite battling against relegation he remained in his job until 1925. His 268 matches in charge consisted of 92 wins, 62 draws and 114 defeats giving him a win percentage of 34.33%. Henry Norris sacked him 1925 and replaced him with Herbert Chapman and Knighton moved on to manage Bournemouth. One of Knighton's wins came today in 1920 at Highbury when Arsenal faced Burnley. Frank Bradshaw and Fred Pagnam got the goals to take the points. Jimmy Brain's goal today in 1926 was not enough as Arsenal went down 2-1 to Sunderland at Roker Park. Half back Bill Seddon (picture bottom left) made his debut in the match. He had joined in 1924 and captained the reserves to the London Combination title but it took 14 months for this senior debut to come along. He made 76 appearances for the first team and over 200 for the reserves before leaving for Grimsby Town in 1932 for a fee of £2,500. A comfortable Highbury win today in 1936 when Arsenal beat West Bromwich Albion 4-0. The goals came form Jack Crayston, Alex James, James Dunne and Joe Hulme. 1937 today and Arsenal couldn't score at Maine Road. They ended up being beaten 2-0 by Manchester City. Ted Drake and Leslie Compton both scored at Highbury on this day in 1939 as Arsenal beat Blackpool 2-1. Centre forward George Curtis (picture top right) made his debut today. He joined in 1936 and went to serve his apprenticeship at nursery club Margate. He only played 13 times for the senior side and went to Southampton with team mate Tommy Rudkin in a deal for Don Roper in 1947. Using White Hart Lane as the home ground Arsenal took on West Ham United today in 1943 in the Football League Cup South. Wartime guest Briscoe, Cliff Bastin and Denis Compton all scored to put Arsenal into the semi-final with a 3-1 victory. In 1944 on this date the same three players got a goal a piece as Arsenal beat Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 in the Football League South. On this day in 1948 Arsenal won the First Division Championship after a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town at Leeds Road. Arsenal were champions with four games left to play, they would draw two of those and win the other two, finishing the season in style with an 8-0 victory over Grimsby Town. 27,226 spectators watched Arsenal destroy Stoke City at Highbury today in 1950. Walley Barnes got a goal, Peter Goring and Doug Lishman got two a piece and the Potters helped out with an own goal as Arsenal cruised to a 6-0 victory. A sad note that on this day in 1954, Joe Mercer (picture middle right) made is last appearance for Arsenal due to breaking his leg in two places in a collision with team mate Joe Wade. The match at Highbury ended in a 3-0 win over Liverpool courtesy of a goal by Don Roper and two from debutante Derek Tapscott (picture bottom right). Mercer had joined Arsenal in 1946 signing from Everton for £9,000. He became club captain and led Arsenal to three league titles and an FA Cup win. In 1950 he was voted Football Writer's Association Footballer of the Year. In total he played 275 times for the club. Welshman Derek Tapscott had signed from Barry Town in 1953, manager Tom Whittaker paid £4,000 for the midfielder who went to play 132 times and score 68 goals. He sustained an injury while playing for Wales in 1957 but after recuperating he found it difficult to dislodge his replacement Vic Groves to get back to first choice. He left in September 1958, returned to Wales and signed for Cardiff City. Arsenal didn't play again on this date until 1968. This match was a 2-0 defeat for the Gunners by Southampton at the Dell. It was Southampton at the Dell again on this day in 1971. This time it ended in a 1-2 win for Arsenal on the way to the Double. Frank McLintock and John Radford got the goals. There was little for the 20,774 to cheer at Goodison Park today in 1976 as Everton and Arsenal played out a 0-0 draw. Always a good day when you can say that Arsenal beat the shitty Middlesex team and today in 1979 that's what happened. One goal was enough as Frank Stapleton made it 1-0 at Highbury in front of 53,896 fans and the north London enemy were beaten. The Gunners were at the Goldstone Ground on this day in 1982. Despite a Brian Talbot goal Arsenal were beaten 2-1 by Brighton & Hove Albion. Into the Premiership era and today in 1993 Arsenal were at Portman Road to face Ipswich Town. Thanks to goals from Alan Smith and Paul Merson Arsenal got a 1-2 victory over the Tractor Boys. See the goals and a David Seaman penalty save here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEPbDRX1ZmE A new signing for Arsenal today in 1999 as they added sixteen year old Jeremie Aliadiere to the youth ranks. He joined on a free transfer from Clairefontaine. He would graduate through to the first team and played 51 times as well as having loan spells with Glasgow Celtic, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers. He was sold on to Middlesbrough in 2007 before moving to Lorient in 2011 and then took his service to Qatar to sign with Umm Salal. Nicklas Bendtner played for Arsenal Under-21's today in 2006 and his goal meant a 1-1 draw with Watford. Today in 2011 Jens Lehmann played against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road after Manuel Almunia was injured in the warm up. It was his 200th Arsenal game which the Gunners won 1-3 due to goals from Abou Diaby 18; Emmanuel Eboué 21 and Robin van Persie 76. On this day in 2012 the Arsenal Under 21 side nicked a 0-1 victory in the north east when Thomas Eisfeld's goal was the only goal in the match against Newcastle United. This date in 2013 saw Arsenal sell youth player Martin Angha to FC Nuremburg for £300,000. Angha came to the academy from his hometown club of FC Zurich in 2012. He did make it through to the first team playing twice, a debut against Coventry City in the Capital One (League) Cup and then a Champions League match against Olympiacos. He was at FC Nuremburg only a short time before moving on to 1860 Munich and in 2015 moved again to sign with St Gallen back in Switzerland. Finally, it was Chuba Akpom that scored for the youth squad today in 2014. It was not enough to keep Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup and they went out 2-1 to Chelsea.

Yahoo Sports UK horse racing Lucky 15 – Thursday’s top selections
Yahoo Sport UK has teamed up with Bet4Causes to bring you a preview of the day’s British racing – and The Night Hawk marks your card.
Each day Bet4Causes will mark your card, providing a preview of the day’s racing and offering what the experts feel will be the value bets of the day.
Take a look at our Lucky 15 selections (four singles, six doubles, four trebles and a four-fold) for the British meetings on Thursday, January 26, 2017.
LUCKY 15 SELECTIONS
MUMS THE WORD (Wolverhampton 8.00) has had eight races without success, but we go for experience over pedigree and unraced potential in the extended 1m½f fillies’ maiden. Richard Fahey’s daughter of Mayson is clearly quite well regarded, as she stepped up from finishing second in a Salisbury nursery off a mark of 73 in September to run in a Listed Chantilly 7f event on heavy ground in November, when only failing by two and a half lengths. That was her first run for the yard. Given a break, she made her Tapeta debut at Newcastle in mid-December off a mark of 87 and while she travelled well, again found one too good in the shape of Bizzarria. That mark certainly looked to flatter her and she is now down to an official rating of 80. Unless Godolphin newcomer Night Poetry is above average, the selection should be thereabouts again.
HARAKA (Southwell 2.45) made her first start on the fibresand a winning one and may well be able to double up in a decent little 1m handicap for the class. Ralph Beckett opted for blinkers last time and the three-year-old Fastnet Rock filly clearly appeared to appreciate the headgear, as she upped her game considerably from her last-of-12 run over 7f at Kempton three weeks earlier. Upped to a mile, she came with a storming late run to take a weaker event and while she is up in grade again today, and if blinkers work a second time, she may now have the confidence upon which to build.
SPEED FREAK (Southwell 1.35), like our NAP selection, is also an eight-race maiden. The three-year-old Fastnet Rock filly has been placed in three of her last four runs, all over 5f and all on artificial surfaces, so probably deserves a change of luck. Trained by Ralph Beckett, she was touched off by Street Jazz at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day and again went close at Lingfield last time, going down by a neck to Monteamiata, form that admittedly does not look particularly strong. While never likely to one of the stable’s leading lights, she is fairly well drawn and there appears to be plenty of dead wood in today’s 5f maiden, so her consistency means she should be considered.
DINO VELVET (Warwick 12.55) may be able to enhance his reputation and may come into calculations for the JCB Truimph Hurdle at Cheltenham should he win for the second time in three starts. Alan King’s runner fell on his British hurdling debut in a Grade 2 at Prestbury Park but made amends, winning a 2m introductory juvenile hurdle at Sandown next time, despite looking in need of the experience. He looked out of his depth in a Grade 1 at Chepstow in late December, but the drop in class today into a modest juvenile hurdle should see the four-year-old in a better light, providing the meeting gets the green light.
