dear david bowie,

i, too, have always felt a repulsive need to be something more than human. in my bones, my nerves, my flesh and my mind i can feel everything melt away from me when i listen to music and i am left as a creature purely for the universe to hold and cradle in her motherly arms. i am left with too many eyes that see and hear and feel everything and wings that are almost too big to fly, for my mind's body is almost too ambitious. i am left with no body at all, and yet i feel as though i have experienced every beauty in the world, every body that had existed and will exist is embedded in my mind as the eternal beauty because even though i do not want to be i will always end up back in this human body on this earth that is riddled with humanity, no matter what or where im supposed to be, because i have somehow fallen in love with humanity. im glad that in your few years here, you were able to fall in love with humanity just as i have. i hope you tell your alien friends about us and speak most about the good in us and our world.
