Oi, I remember only this shot, it was made by someone of his stylists, but BEFORE Oscars, even before the beautiful golden brooch is pinned to his Versace tux, they've been getting him ready, and it was hilarious – a disaster in the bathroom, another disaster in the hall, all the stuff on the bed, A LONELY SOCK ON THE COUCH, and our happy baby boy beaming such a smile

It is from that same photo that I was asked if I mean but from my memory he was holding his Oscar and the bed was very noticeable in the background, bedding was very erm crumpled I guess and he looked a bit flushed and it was a more professional photo. If I’ve overstepped anything I truly apologise I’m sure it was you who posted it perhaps they aren’t very good at making their hotel room beds

For me Yvonne is the ultimate cunt of the story, cause she was the first to make things tacky and unstable between all four of them. Especially her softly, but insistently interrogating her dying husband if he ever cheated on her. And using Danielle as her emotional support while fuckin her husband before that. And their (all of them, actually) kids. Their poor kids who witness everything.

And the sex scene on the beach is crafted to make us cringe, that's what I like about this movie too: it doesn't romanticize this affair at all, quickly making it uneasy, cringy, awkward. Making it real. That's what I love about this story. I love this movie so much.

Not the first anon but for me personally the ending is so so horrible lol. 😭 not the movie ending itself (like the artistic choice) but to think that he’s left with her an he doesn’t care about her and he seems miserable about it (zero compassion tho haha) and she’s stuck with sb who doesn’t love her and that’s obvs miserable too? But I like the ending itself because for me it symbolize the mundane daily life and how your decisions can impact that yk? Excuse my rambling. 🙈

You've got it. Seriously, I share you opinion I think almost entirely. I think he does have feelings for her, but he misses what's been missed out on. But absolutely - we make our own troubles sometimes and this is a good example of that!

Incredible @monkeymir inspired me to study David Bowie's aesthetism through the style of Egon Schiele – I already claimed David to be the perfect embodiment of fragility and scary kind of charm that were very typical for his art. Since this is exactly a study I think I'll make a few other things to learn the subject better

Whoa, lemme add something about my fav movie about sick relationship

For me this story was about all four main characters being very infantile – they can't take responsibility for their own actions, they behave like there's no consequences at all. Like the only one smart thing Jim did in the WHOLE movie was closing the door in their room when Danielle started yelling at him, for kids couldn't hear (ofc they heard, Danielle literally asked her daughter to get Jim in her room). All the things happened didn't make Jim learn a shit about life. That's why we have this ending with Orla who gets him emotional swings and damage 24/7 and the only reason I think he's not breaking up with her is that she's whipping him and he likes it (no kinkshaming)

1. Food. I mean, almost any food: a good soup can really bring me back to life
