It’s definitely the lips. Also, Ozzy uniforms are great. Friendly green colors? Cool hat/helmet combo? No fuckhuge eagle to draw? A godsend, that uniform.

This time we’re going to do our readings at Osaka Japanese Sushi & Steak House this Sunday from 7pm-9pm. I’ll be doing a reading of a new short story (or possibly an excerpt from my one of my upcoming books) and I’ll be in damn fine company; check out this…

The Comicon Monthly Megazine Preview - Meg 398, Coming In August
The Comicon Monthly Megazine Preview – Meg 398, Coming In August
Another month, another 2000AD Judge Dredd Megazine to enjoy. Sadly, this big, bold, and beautiful sister monthly to the weekly comic suffers from the same problems as 2000AD in the USA; patchy distribution, comic shops that don’t order it, hell there’s comic shops that don’t even know it exists. And although we’re saying Megazine 398 is out in August, frankly your guess is as good as ours.

Review: Red Thorn #1
Red Thorn #1 review. A brilliant example of a talented creative team #comics
On the rain-soaked streets of Glasgow, a girl whose drawings somehow come to life has just stumbled across her one true love. And thousands of miles below those streets, an ancient demi-god plots his escape from the prison where he’s been held for nearly two thousand years. Evil forces are at play and no one is safe as the legends of Scottish mythology collide with the modern world. Red Thorn is…

The Comicon Monthly Megazine Preview: The Meg 397, Coming To You Soon
The Comicon Monthly Megazine Preview: The Meg 397, Coming To You Soon
Time once more for us to run the 2000AD Judge Dredd MegazinePreview, giving you a glimpse of the strips to look forward to in 2000AD’s monthly sister publication. Granted, it’s already been out for weeks over in lil’ old Britain and it’s also been out since late June digitally from the 2000AD store. But, thanks to distribution that could best be politely described as patchy as all heck, the…

Red Thorn #1 - David Baillie and Meghan Hetrick Bring Dark Fantasy Vividly to Life in Modern-Day Glasgow
Sexy, sassy and intriguing, the opening issue of Red Thorn sees David Baillie and Meghan Hetrick put a 21st-century gloss on a classic Vertigo formula. Here at Broken Frontier we’re never content to leave a good cliché unturned. So it gives us great pleasure to confirm that reports of Vertigo Comics’ death were greatly exaggerated. In fact, the autumnal barrage of new titles – 12 in total –…
