Not A Bad Idea
Fandom: A Murder at the End of the World (Not Retreat)
Pairing: David Alvarez x reader
CW: smut, pure filth… language, p in v sex, an*l sex, cunnilingus, tit play, ass play, etc.
AN: @witches-unruly-heart requested David + honeymoon… enjoy!
“Please, accept this as a gift from us. It’s the least we can do. David, you are more than just our friend - you are family.”
David finished replaying the voicemail from his best friend, Andy Ronson. He looked over at you and raised his brows. “After all the shit Andy’s put me through, this is the least he can do?” He scoffed.
“Babe, I know Iceland isn’t exactly where we thought we’d honeymoon, but where else could we have it be where it’s just you and I minus some staff?”
You looked at David, your soon-to-be husband. “I’ve never been to Iceland anyway,” you continued.
You turned back and continued to chop the parsley and oregano in front of you.
David walked over to you, and wrapped his arms around you. He nuzzled your neck, his spicy cologne wafting over you. “I went a couple years back, for a retreat at Andy’s hotel. It was the most fucked up time… but that’s a story for another day.”
You hummed and nodded but continued to prep the herbs. “Besides,” David murmured, “we can take advantage of the hot spring right on the property.”
You dropped the knife to the side of the cutting board, before leaning your head back so it rested on David’s shoulder. David’s fingers trailed up along the sides of your body, before reaching around your ribcage to your tits, squeezing and kneading the fat of your flesh. The bristles of David’s beard tickled your skin and you let out a small moan as he sunk his teeth along a sensitive spot, before running his tongue over the tender, now darkened spot. David continued to play with your tits, feeling how hard your nipples were through the thin fabric of your sundress.
“I’ll never get dinner done if you keep that up,” you gently chided. You could feel David’s smirk along your skin. He let out a low chuckle before nipping at your ear.
“I’ve got my dinner right here,” David husked as he used the tips of his brogues to spread your legs. He sunk down to his knees and pushed the hemline of your dress upwards. He could see how your simple cotton panties were soaked with arousal. He took a deep inhalation of your scent before pushing your panties to the side. You cried out as he buried his tongue inside of your hot, needy cunt.
-
The wedding was later that summer, but business kept David busy soon after. You didn’t have to worry about work due to David’s abundant wealth.
When a small break in David’s calendar opened up along the Fourth of July weekend, it was perfect timing to go away. While certainly not the weather you were accustomed to in July, temperatures rose, leaving the days at a comfortable (on the cooler side) 52 degrees.
Andy’s hotel in Reykjavik was closed off to all but you and David and hotel staff. Anything you wanted or needed was just a push of a button or call away. The majority of the days and nights were spent fucking every which way. Towards the end of the week, the two of you decided to emerge from the cocoon of sheets to take some time to enjoy the hot spring. The hot spring soothed you both, the heat sinking into your bones.
You wrapped your arms around David, brushing your lips against his. The kiss is soft, unhurried. You press your body against his, your nipples diamond hard as are his. He pushes you back against the wall of the spring, the water sloshing with the movement. Steam emits from the spring, creating its own foggy cocoon. His cock is hard against you and you ache to feel him again, splitting you. David’s fingertips trail over the contours and planes of your body, re-exploring familiar areas and delighting in your heady response. You angle the nape of your neck, and David pushes your hair back as he presses open kisses along your wet skin. He dipped his head to mouth your pert tits, using his hands in tandem to tease you. You take one of his hands and push it between your bodies, stopping at your cunt. You sound more needy, desperate for more and David is quick to oblige. It’s just the two of you, so no bathing suits were needed. David’s fingers tease your inner thighs and then your outer lips before pushing two fingers inside of you. You let out a gasp which turned into a groan as he curled them, his fingers finding a steady rhythm. You drag his face back to yours and you kiss him. He swallows your moans with his mouth all the while promising all the filthy things he wanted to do with you.
You grasped his biceps tightly, your nails leaving crescent shaped marks along his skin. Your hips moved on their own accord, riding his fingers. You whined his name, further spurring the pace in which David fucked you with his fingers.
“That’s it pretty girl,” David husked. “Come for me.”
You bit David’s shoulder as you came hard, your cunt clenching and quivering around his long fingers. You hung onto his frame as you came down back to reality.
“Let’s take this inside,” David murmured as he kissed you once more.
—
You gripped the duvet as David took you from behind, his cock driving in and out of you at a brutally hard and fast pace. His fingers gripped your hips tightly, fingers digging into your flesh. You were certain you’d find marks on your hips after. Your ass was in the air, your torso bent all the way down. Your arousal, mixed with lube, dripped down your thighs as David took you balls deep.
“Ay, mi muñeca, mi tesoro, you’re so fucking tight. Taking me so well,” David grunted.
“Please! Give it to me!”
David leaned forward and grabbed you around your waist, pulling you flush against him. He stilled, leaving him deep in you, the connection never breaking. You whimpered and tried to move to get him to continue but he held you still.
“Stay right there muñeca. Just feel me,” David growled. His hand pawed at your tits, pulling and squeezing. “Tell me you love my big cock.”
You trembled, the feel of his cock splitting you was almost too much - where pleasure hovered around the line of pain. “You know I love your big cock, David.” Your words were punctuated by pants.
His hand reached down your body to your clit. He rubbed in slow circles before laying a sharp slap on your clit. He repeated the actions, almost in a pattern - rub, rub, slap, rub, rub, slap.
“Tell me your mine, your body is for me alone.”
Tears pricked your eyes as you felt another stinging slap. “You have me David, you know you do.”
“Yeah?” David asked as he resumed with slow, short thrusts. “Your pretty pussy is mine?”
“Yes,” you whimpered. “Yours.”
He pushed you back down on your hands and knees, never once stopping his pace. You let out a gasp as you felt his fingers by your ass.
“And what about this pretty little hole here? You want my cock in your little asshole?”
You nodded, the material of the duvet rubbing against your cheek. “Please, need to feel you.” Your voice was slurred, drunk on pleasure - drunk on his cock.
David reached over and grabbed the bottle of lube. He poured an obscene amount of liquid between your ass cheeks, before sliding his thumb inside.
“Good girl,” he murmured. “Such a good girl.”
He’s possessive of you, obsessive almost. But he is always looking out for your pleasure just as much as his. Your adventurous spirit in bed makes him love you all the more.
He slid his thumb out after a bit, and then used some of the lube to coat himself. He took his cock into his hand and just above where he would position to slide into you, he began to push through your cheeks slowly.
“You tease,” you gasped, pushing back.
He pushed slowly, watching as the head of his cock slipped out on the other side of your ass cheeks, pushing through to your crack. He repeated his actions, his hands squeezing your cheeks tightly as he thrusted, pushing his cock through your flesh.
You whined and begged some more. David chuckled darkly.
“Okay, okay mi muñeca. I won’t make you wait anymore,” he tutted quietly.
His cock is well lubed so he pushes into your tight hole easily, until his hips are flushed against your ass. His eyes rolled back - his cock is being squeezed by your ass, deliciously tighter than your already tight pussy.
David made sure that you were okay - and you murmured that you are. The thrusting is slow, punctuated and when he’s certain you’re ready for more, he doesn’t hold back.
He held your hips and fucked up into your ass, watching how your ass rippled and clapped against him with every thrust. He smacked your ass, causing you to squeal with delight. David looks at the scene below him - your cheeks are red and hot and you look absolutely fucked out, hair a mess, your jaw slack, eyes shut. It’s then he noticed what you were doing.
“That’s it - play with that pretty pussy while I fuck you like this,” he all but growled. “Come for me - make a mess, princesa.”
“God your ass is so tight,” David continued. “Gonna milk all that cum out of me. Fucking squeezing me.”
His words sent you over the edge. You gasped, body tightening, little fireworks going off behind your closed eyes. He closed his eyes as he pushed deep, his cock throbbing as he filled your ass with spurts of hot, white creamy cum, panting against your back, before dropping a few kisses along your damp skin.
He thrusted shallowly, riding out his orgasm as he pressed more kisses to your skin before moving back and withdrawing. You felt boneless and you didn’t dare move. He spread your cheeks once more and his eyes watched as you pushed some of his spent out, dripping.
David flopped onto his back, his arms wrapping behind his head. You mustered strength to face him and as he gave you a satisfied smile, you gave him one in return.
Finally you settled over him, playing with his chest hair. You let out a small yawn. “Now can you agree that Iceland wasn’t such a bad idea?”
David hummed. “You know, Andy and Lee are probably keeping tabs on us through all their alternative intelligence system.”
You shrugged. “Probably. Hoped they enjoyed the show.”
FIN.

It was meant to be a simple day out—a break from the bleakness of Jackson's Star.
After a night running through the streets, scavenging and looking for any salvageable parts, the group returned back to Tyler's and Kay's for a sleepover.
The siblings and Navarro were off taking pictures, gleefully trying to capture the fleeting moments of joy in a place where moments like this were rare as Rain and Bjorn watched them contentedly.
It was then the Carradine orphan's mind drifted off.
A part of her wished she pushed you to come with her, hating the thought you being alone in your workshop. But she knew it would be useless.
You rarely left home, so making you spend the night out of it would be impossible.
At least Andy's there with you. Even if it took some convincing on her part.
"Do you think we'll find what we're looking for on Yvaga?" Rain suddenly asks, voice cutting the silence.
Bjorn shrugged, his gaze drifting to where Tyler and Kay were laughing over something Navarro said. "I hope so. Just know it'll better than this shithole."
Rain nodded, noticing a subtle change in his posture as the conversation lulled.
Then, almost hesitantly, he ask "So...have you talked to her lately?"
Rain's eyebrow quirked. "Her?"
Bjorn shuffle uncomfortably, trying to sound casual. "You know...her...____."
She quickly picked up on the way his demeanor changed, how his attention seemed to sharpen at the mere mention of your name. "Why do you ask?"
Bjorn shrugged trying to play it off.
But the way he glanced at Rain betrayed his true feelings. "No reason. Just curious is all. Wondering how she's doing."
"Bjorn..." Rain's voice took on a knowing edge, causing the brunette's eyes to widened slightly.
Before he could say anything Tyler's voice rang out from across the way. "Hey! Come on you two! Group photo!" he calls out, waving them over.
Kay stood beside him, her eyes lingering on Bjorn with a small shy smile when they made eye contact.
Bjorn quickly brushed off Tyler's invitation with a wave. "We're talking. Be there in a bit." Tyler grinned teasingly. "Must be talking about ____, huh?"
Kay's smile faltered at the mention of your name.
She quickly looks away, pretending to focus on the camera to hide her disappointment.
Rain watch as Bjorn's face flushed, his expression tightening as he try to dismiss Tyler's teasing.
"Nah, n-nothing like that," He mutters, pushing them away with a forced smile. "We'll be there in a bit. J-just...just go on ahead."
Tyler chuckled, giving him a knowing look before turning back to Navarro and Kay to take another trio selfie.
The brash scavenger waits until they were out of earshot before letting out a sigh, his face still slightly pink.
Now alone again Rain turned back to him. "So...what's really going on, Bjorn? What's your deal with ____? Been noticing you asking a lot of things about her lately."
Bjorn hesitated, glancing at the others to make sure they weren't listening before he spoke.
"I just...I don't know," he admitted, his voice quiet.
"It's just...after everything that happened, she was there for me ya know? And now, I just...I keep thinking about her. I guess...I wanna know more about her. Like...what does she like? What would make her happy when we get to Yvaga?"
Rain's face softened, but then a memory flashed before her eyes—one that made her heart sink.
════════════*.·:·.☽✧𝑭𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑯𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲✧☾.·:·.*════════════
It was a quiet evening, the air thick with anxiety and thoughts of the future.
Rain had come to you, torn and uncertain about leaving Andy behind.
The weight of knowing that if she ever had the chance to go to Yvaga III, Andy won't be able to come pressed heavy on her heart.
She had hesitated, unsure how to ask, but you had already sensed her unease.
"Rain," you had said gently. "You don't have to worry about Andy. I'll stay with him."
Rain blinked in surprise. "What? But..." Her heart sank as she realized the depth of your words.
"No... like... you can't mean that," she had said, her voice shaky. She looked at you, trying to understand.
You gave her a small smile, one that didn't quite reach your eyes. "I don't mind."
Opening her mouth to retaliate, you simply shake your head.
A serene smile decorated your face as you hold her hands in yours. "Rain...I'll be okay. I was actually planning to do so anyways."
Rain had felt a lump form in her throat, the weight of your words hitting her deep.
You had made her promise not to tell the others, and though she agreed, the burden of that promise had been crushing her ever since.
══════════*.·:·.☽✧𝑬𝑵𝑫 𝑶𝑭 𝑭𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑯𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲✧☾.·:·.*══════════
Rain snapped back to the present, her gaze locking onto Bjorn's earnest expression.
He was waiting for an answer, his curiosity and growing affection for you clear in the way he hung on her every word.
She knew she couldn't keep this from him, not when he was clearly struggling with his feelings.
"Bjorn," Rain began, her voice tinged with reluctance, "there's something you need to know about ____."
Bjorn frowned at the change in her tone. "What is it?"
.*.·:·.☽✧✧☾.·:·.*
You were deep asleep, the peaceful rhythm of your breath in sync with the gentle hum of the electronics in your room.
Andy was seated in a chair near your bed in sleep mode, eyes closed as he rested.
The day had been long, spent modifying a code that was causing a glitch in Andy's hand but the work had paid off.
The glitch was gone and you'd fallen into a well-deserved rest. But then, the peace was shattered.
BANG BANG BANG
A frantic banging echoed through the quiet of your home, jolting you awake.
You shot up disoriented with a racing heart. The banging continued, urgent and relentless.
Fumbling to turn on the hanging bed-lamp the soft light casted long shadows in the room.
Andy remained in sleep mode, oblivious to the disturbance. So you slipped out of bed.
Feet cold against the floor you way to the front door. Opening it you found standing there.
His face a mix of despair and heartbreak. His eyes were wild, chest heaving as if he'd been running.
"You're not coming with us?!" he demanded in a mixture of accusation and pleading.
Before you could speak Bjorn pushed past you and stormed inside.
Stunned, quickly closed the door and followed him, heart racing as you try to process what was happening.
You found him in the middle of the living area pacing the floor like a caged animal.
His lips moved as he muttered to himself, hands clenching and unclenching at his sides.
"Bjorn?" you call out trying to get his attention.
He didn't respond. Still pacing, still muttering.
"Bjorn," you say again more firmly this time.
He finally stopped and turned allowing you to see the tears in his eyes.
He looked on the edge of breaking, his voice cracking as he asked, "Is it true?"
You frowned confused and a little alarmed. "What are you talking about?"
"Yvaga III," his voice rose slightly in desperation. "You're not coming to Yvaga?"
Your heart dropped. Rain must have told him.
Face blank you turn away in attempt to avoid his gaze as you began tidying up a nearby coffee table cluttered with papers. "I don't want to talk about this, Bjorn."
"Yeah well you need to!" Bjorn shot back as he moved around the table to get into your line of sight.
"I-Is...there a p-problem?"
There Andy stood at the doorway, his head tilted innocently to the side in that way he did when trying to assess a situation.
His eyes flickered slightly like his systems were processing multiple inputs at once.
"Andy! You're awake?" you blinked in surprise, momentarily distracted. "Wait—how did you awaken from sleep mode?"
Andy blinked rapidly, his voice glitching. "I was... programmed to... p-protect." The words came out stilted, his speech broken and uneven.
Bjorn's lips curled in disgust, eyes darkening with contempt. "What's that thing doing here?"
Before you could respond Andy's head jerked again.
Limbs twitching as if he were struggling to hold his position steady, his gaze sharply shift between you and Bjorn. "Is m-my... presence... an issue?"
"Hey!" You step forward before anything else could be said with raised hands.
Turning to Bjorn with a raised brow, you gesture around. "First off: I can do whatever the hell I want in my own home. And second: Rain asked me to update him."
Bjorn's jaw tightened, his eyes shutting tight as he took a deep breath.
He looked as if he was trying to calm himself but his trembling fists gave it away.
"Can you at least get rid of it for a while? I need to speak to you," he said in his voice tight.
His gaze flicked over to Andy, a flash of contempt darkening his eyes. "Without the synthetic around."
Your mouth dropped open in shock taken aback by his words. "Bjorn! What the hell? How could you even say that? You know Andy!"
"Yeah and our parents knew the fucking 'droid that sealed them to their deaths!" Bjorn roared, his face flushing red with anger.
He paused, his expression softening slightly upon seeing the hurt on your face.
"I—look, just...why? Why aren't you coming to Yvaga III with us? With me?" His voice cracked slightly as he spoke the last word.
You never knew he felt this deeply for you.
"Bjorn...you need to understand something." You closed your eyes for a moment, willing yourself to be steady. "The feelings you have...they're not what you think they are."
"What?" Bjorn frowned, the confusion evident as he desperately searched your face to make sense of what you're saying. "What do you mean?"
You hesitated, struggling to find the right words.
"What we've been through—losing our parents, the grief—it messes with us. Changes how we feel, how we see things." You paused hoping he would understand. "What you may think is love, might not be it at all."
Bjorn's eyes widened as his expression twisted with disbelief. "So you're saying I don't really care about you? That what I feel isn't real?"
"No no that's not what I'm saying," you quickly corrected, softening your voice. "I know you care. But...what you're feeling is complicated. It's all mixed up in the trauma, in the pain. You think you love me but it's not love. It's us bonding in our grief together."
Bjorn's anger flared, sharper now, more defensive. "You're just making up excuses just to push me away. That's what this is isn't it?"
"No Bjorn that's not i—" you began, but he cuts you off.
"Then why don't you want to be with me?" He takes a step closer with a trembling voice, "We've both been through the same pain, we understand each other. Isn't that enough? I thought...I thought maybe you would feel the same way. That maybe, after everything, we could..."
He trailed off getting choked by the emotions he was struggling to contain.
His hand lifted slightly as if he were reaching for you, but then it fell limply to his side.
"W-why won't you just tell me what's going on?! Why won't you—" His voice broke off suddenly when his eyes catch something in his peripheral.
A moment of silence passed as he stood there, his head ticking slightly to the side.
His eyes narrowed and then a look of realization wash over his face.
He lets out a dry chuckle, more of a mutter to himself than anything else. "No fucking way..."
The chuckle morphs into a full-on, humorless laugh—one filled with bitterness and disbelief.
"How...how fucking stupid am I?" he spat, shaking his head as the laugh grew darker. "How blind have I been?"
Confusion fills your face. "Bjorn what—"
"It's him, isn't it?" Bjorn cut you off, his eyes blazing with a newfound intensity. "It's the fucking android isn't it? That's why you don't want to come with us! That's why you don't want to come with me! You're doing this because of that fucking machine!"
"What?!" You gasp, staring at him completely taken aback. "No Bjorn that's not it at all—"
"Don't lie to me!" he shouted in hurt and anger. "You care more about that damn synthetic than you do about me!"
You felt your own frustration bubbling up, mixing with the sorrow that had been weighing on you for weeks. "Bjorn, please, listen—"
"No!" Bjorn voice cracked with fury and heartbreak. "My whole life has been shit. I'm stuck on this deathtrap of a plant, I've lost my mom at the hands of these...these garbage synthetics. And now you're telling me that I've lost you too? To the same fucking machines that killed her??"
The words were like daggers, stabbing into your heart.
You opened your mouth, desperate to tell him the truth of why you made the decision to stay behind.
That it wasn't about Andy—it was about your grief, your struggles with depression and fear you'd never find happiness again.
That you didn't want to drag him down with you
But the words wouldn't come, they were stuck in your throat.
All you could do was stand there as Bjorn's anger and sorrow poured out.
"Fine," he spat, his eyes flashing with resolve. "Stay here. Stay with him. I don't fucking care anymore."
"Bjorn, please..." your voice trembled as you instinctively reach out for him. "I'm not trying to push you away. I just...I can't be what you need...what you want. I've accepted that I might not make it, a-and I don't want to hurt you."
But Bjorn's mind was already made up.
His expression hardened as he pulled away from you, the bitterness in his voice turning cold. "You're just making excuses. You'd rather waste your life here, alone, with that...thing, than be with an actual person who actually cares about you."
"Bjorn, it's not like that—"
"I'm done!" he shouts cutting you off for the last time. "I don't want to hear it anymore."
With that he stormed out of your home, slamming the door behind him so hard it rattled in its frame.
The sound echoed in your mind along with the accusations—playing in an endless loop leaving you feeling hollow and confused.
Andy, unaware of the emotional storm that had passed, dark calm eyes flickered briefly before locking onto you.
His head jerked ever so slightly to one side, voice hesitant and glitching. "Are... you a-alright?"
You forced a smile. "Yeah... I'm fine."
You weren't.
In the days that followed, Bjorn's attitude toward you changed.
The warmth and affection he had once shown was gone, replaced by coldness and distance.
He stopped being kind, stopped trying to reach out. When he did speak to you it was with sarcasm or bitter indifference with sharp cutting words.
He even started spending more time with Kay. And soon, the cousins became inseparable—even more so than before.

The Essence of Psychic Readings
Psychic readings involve tapping into intuitive insights beyond the physical senses. Psychics and spiritual advisors use various methods, such as tarot cards, astrology, and energy readings, to offer guidance on personal issues, relationships, and future possibilities. Unlike conventional consultations, psychic readings focus on the unseen aspects of life, aiming to reveal deeper truths and potential paths.
Understanding Different Types of Psychic Services
Tarot Card Readings Tarot cards are a popular tool for psychics. They offer a structured approach to exploring various aspects of life, from love and career to personal growth. A skilled tarot reader interprets the cards' symbols and patterns to provide insights and guidance.
Astrology Astrology involves the study of celestial bodies' positions and their influence on human affairs. Astrologers analyze your birth chart, which maps the positions of planets at the time of your birth, to offer predictions and advice based on astrological principles.
Clairvoyance Clairvoyants have the ability to perceive information beyond ordinary sight. They might receive visual images, impressions, or even direct communication from spiritual entities. This type of reading often focuses on specific questions or concerns.
Mediumship Mediums act as intermediaries between the living and the deceased. They channel messages from spirits to offer closure, comfort, or guidance to those seeking connections with loved ones who have passed away.
Energy Healing Energy healers work with the body’s energy fields to address emotional or physical issues. Techniques may include Reiki, chakra balancing, or aura cleansing to promote overall well-being.
Finding the Best Psychics in California

Credentials and Reviews Research psychics' credentials and read reviews from previous clients. Personal testimonials and ratings can offer valuable insights into a psychic’s accuracy and reliability.
Approach and Techniques Different psychics use various methods and techniques. Determine which approach resonates with you and find a psychic who practices in that style.

Being a young! Agent and dating Jennifer Jareau.
spare tip, ma’am?
you were a bundle of anxiety when you entered the BAU for the first time.
But it quickly went away when you meet the team. They were so kind to you.
Hotch taking you under his wing
Emily, acting like a big sister
but there was someone who made you very nervous
Jennifer Jareau, she was a hurricane in form of a woman
trying so hard not to stare at her or her eyes
being teased by Penelope, when she realized you had a crush on JJ
JJ knew you stared at her because she also stared at you
Emily encouraging her to ask you out
JJ didn't wanted to risk it
you were younger than her; you had less problems, less trauma
in her mind, you were too innocent for her
she tried to avoid you like the plague, but you were always so close to her
getting jealous when Morgan flirted with you
getting MORE jealous when Emily flirts with you
finally asking you out
cue to her being a nervous wreck and trying so hard not embarrassed herself
kissing her after the date
keeping the relations secret in the beginning
her mother finds out and freaking out
she thought you're too young for JJ
JJ was quick to shut her up
“ i love,y/n and nothing you can say will change that, mom’
It took a while for JJ’s mom warm up to you
Rossi was the first to find out after seeing you using JJ's jacket
making out on the supply closet
leaving marks and hickeys all over her abs
thirsting over her muscles
enjoying the view during her workouts
sex in the shower after the gym
almost getting caught several times
having double dates with Penelope and Derek
adopting a pet together
just being adorable together

Masterlist
Hi, this is my main masterlist in which I'll link any sub-list.
I have never done any requests and would not put myself in a position of being a writer. But I'm starting to get a hang of it again and if you've got a request, feel free to submit via ask. I would consider characters mentioned below. I won't do NSFW (up to T is fine, M might be too, no E pls), dubious content, non-consenual topics. I won't cover actor's lives.
English is not my mother tongue, so some things might sound weird for native speakers. Please tell me...

Danny: “I may not be an Iron Fist anymore, but I recognize those forms. Some bajiquan...some wing chun...and some moves they only teach in K’un-Lun. Scorpion’s Sly Sting. Waking the Sun. I used to call that one ‘the Thunderer’s Special’. You from K’un-Lun?”
Lin: “Shanghai.”
Danny: “Huh. Look, kid, you can’t even control the dragon chi. You’ve still got a lot to learn.”
Iron Fist vol. 6 #1 by Alyssa Wong, Michael YG, Jay David Ramos, and Travis Lanham
I am completely reserving my judgement on this series until I have read the whole thing, but I wanted to at least say that I have read the first issue and liked quite a bit about it. I am still sore about Danny giving up his role as the Iron Fist and the weaknesses of the in-universe justifications given for such a monumental decision, but that isn’t this creative team’s fault; they’re working with the status quo that was handed to them.
It’s also nice to finally, officially confirm that New Guy is, in fact, Lin Lie, AKA Swordmaster. This issue falls down a bit in being extremely exposition-heavy, in order to catch Iron Fist readers up on Lin’s character and backstory-- so if you haven’t read any previous Swordmaster comics, it’s probably a good idea to go do that. My main interest, obviously, is still Danny-- I want to like Lin Lie, I really do, but he’s new to me and these things take time. My dream is for Danny to at least take on the role of mentor, as he has many times in the past-- for Victor Alvarez, for Pei, and at the Thunder Dojo. Danny loves to teach, and he’s good at it, and the brief interactions between him and Lin in this issue suggests that they could have a really fun teacher/student relationship. Plus, on a more pragmatic level-- having the chi of Shou-Lao does not make you the Iron Fist. You have to undergo trials to prove that you are worthy of that position. (This is one of the main reasons Danny was training Pei, and why it was so important that she successfully faced down the dragon at the end of Immortal Iron Fists.) Even if Danny isn’t the one who tests Lin Lie’s mettle, someone has to.
I also loved seeing more of K’un-Lun, which I always do. It’s one of my favorite Iron Fist things, and from Danny’s cute little “Thunderer’s Special” comment in the above scene to the chunk of the issue that takes place in K’un-Lun itself, I was pretty happy to at least see my favorite Capital City getting some well-needed love. In the past, we have pretty much only ever seen K’un-Lun in times of crisis, and I have always longed for a more detailed look at the place in peace, and we’re finally getting some of that, which is great.

Inaugural Sparks
David (A Murder at the End of the World) x reader.
AN: I know nothing about Raúl’s character so forgive me for any mischaracterizations. I just really wanted to write something for this character and couldn’t wait until the 14th.
Rating: NSFW for 🌶️🌶️
You stood poised in front of a rustic bar, your heart fluttering with the anticipation of your first date with David Alvarez. The autumn air is crisp, causing a soft blush to bloom on your cheeks. You are clad in a cozy, burnt-orange sweaterdress that complements the fall foliage. Your eyes, full of hope and curiosity, are as vibrant as the setting sun. Your fingers nervously played with the cuff of your sleeve, a silent testament to the excitement and uncertainty of the impending encounter. The scent of fallen leaves and the distant sound of laughter from the bar added to the atmosphere of anticipation.
In many ways this was a blind date. But it also wasn’t.
It was a date in the making through mutual friends, Andy Ronson, and his wife Lee, who showed you off to David on his phone and vice versa with him to you. It might have been just a picture, but the attraction was instantaneous.
And this date took weeks in the making thanks to conflicting work schedules. David was an Argentine venture capitalist who happened to be on the top ten Midas list for Forbes. While VCs only invested in 2–3 companies a year, the rest of his time was spent platonically courting entrepreneurs. Suffice it to say, he was loaded. But truthfully, you were well off as well and your work had kept you just as busy.
You and David had been texting and calling for weeks now. Some of the communications were purely innocent, while others were downright filthy. Finally, after so many nights of teasing and eluding, of shared pictures that showed little but promised much more, you were going to be meeting face to face. You had a feeling that this evening held the promise of something special.
You checked the time on your watch before re-applying your lipstick. Then drawing a deep breath in, you made your way into the dimly lit bar, poised, head raised in confidence. As you made your way in, you realized that David was already at the bar. He is sitting, facing the door with one leg hooked through the legs of the stool. He wore a crisp white button down, the top two buttons open, accentuating his tanned skin. There was a glint of a gold chain from the overhead lights. His hair - a distinguished mix of salt and pepper - was perfectly coiffed and accompanied with a neatly trimmed beard.
You could tell he was striving for casualness but there remained a tension in the way he sat, a restlessness you could sense in your gut - as if he preferred to pace and prowl the room while he waited. He exuded sophistication - but there was an air of rugged charm which added to his already distinguished features.
One broad palm cradled a tumbler full of brown liquor. He swirled the drink close to the rim, allowed it to settle and then raised it to his perfectly pink lips. You paused mid-stride, drinking him in. His eyes snapped up, meeting yours and the air cracked with a magnetic pull.
Unbeknownst to you, David had already spotted you outside, bathed in the early evening light, a vision in your sweater dress that clung to your curves in all the right places. He couldn’t believe his luck.
David’s intense gaze held for a moment before he lowered his, dragging along the curves of your dress. His lips twitched in a smile at the hint of skin between the hemline of your dress and the thigh highs that you wore.
You felt desire shoot down your belly, creating a warm pool between your thighs. The smoldering look in his green eyes caused your nipples to harden and pucker against the fabric, eager to show off for him, already seeking his touch. The tip of his tongue emerged to dance along his bottom lip. For a moment, you imagine what it must be like to sink your hands into his beard as you kiss him.
Pictures did not do him justice. He was without a doubt, the most fucking handsome man you had ever had the pleasure of looking at. You take in the width of his broad shoulders, down his chest. You finally continue your journey until you are standing face to face with him.
You get a whiff of spice from his aftershave. Your blood fizzes in response and your pussy is now throbbing in tandem with your heartbeat. More slickness gathers between your thighs and you know he would be pleased when he found out you weren’t wearing any underwear.
He shifted in his seat, causing you to smile. The two of you had not even touched, but you could already tell that he was growing hard, the bulge straining against the zipper of his pants. You ached to have him fill you, fucking you hard as your pussy milked him for all that he was worth.
Pleasantries are exchanged and as you sit next to him, you order a shot of tequila with a lime. David watched you with intense fascination as you slammed the shot back. You bit into the lime, sucking out every last drop of citrus, igniting an electric shock that sent shivers down David’s spine and right to his aching cock.
The night continued over a shared bottle of red wine as you each shared stories about work and life. David mentioned he was planning on attending an upcoming exclusive retreat at Andy’s high-tech hotel, located in the snowiest reaches of Iceland.
But as the evening deepened, so did the connection between the two of you. The chemistry was undeniable, and it only grew as the two of you shared more personal tales, vulnerabilities laid bare.
When the idea of dessert was floated to the two of you by the bartender, you took the opportunity to reach for David’s thigh.
“I am not hungry for dessert.” You felt as if you were almost vibrating with desire.
David’s fingers traced a path along your hand, causing your breath to hitch. “There is something about you that I can’t resist.”
You gave him a victorious smile. You changed to standing and planted yourself in between his legs. You leaned to his ear.
“Finish your drink and pay the man.” You finished with a nip to his ear causing David to groan.
The pupils of his eyes are dilated and you are pleased as punch watching him swallow the remainder of his drink before slamming the glass along the bartop. He reached for his wallet and dropped a few hundred dollar bills, more than enough to cover the tab and then some. “Keep the change.”
Finally, you found yourselves beneath the canopy of bar, waiting for an Uber to arrive. David pulled you close, his lips finding yours in a fiery, passionate kiss. You let out a moan as his tongue licked hotly into your mouth. The world around you both faded away as the two of you surrendered to the intensity of the attraction.
The kiss deepened, and the sparks that had been building all night ignited into a passionate, all-consuming flame.
FIN.

im revamping an old post of mine with some tfc character ethnicities! these are my own personal opinions but feel free to add on or discuss
dan! as far as i know this is pretty universal amongst the readers but dan is black. when i hear “her hair was cut mercilessly short” i think of zoë kravitz’s short hair. she has medium dark skin and maybe freckles? she takes a literature course for fun and absolutely kicks butt
matt! also fairly agreed upon: matt is black. in my head he has an angular face and kinky hair he keeps tight at the sides. i generally think of matt without the gelled spikes in his hair. i like to think one of matt’s parents is jewish and he wears a silver necklace with a small star of david pendant tucked into his shirt
renee! is half-korean. light brown eyes and dark brown hair before she dyed it. since she joined an american gang and was adopted by a presumably white family, i dont think she had much time or recourse in terms of connecting with her heritage. but she takes a korean culture and language course in college and starts to scale back her hair bleaching every once in a while to let it recuperate and let her brown hair show through (there’s also this fic/hc by @heavenly-dusk that may or may not tie into this headcanon but i love it so much that i’m going to link it anyways)
katelyn! this is a huge thing in my head but katelyn is han chinese. dark, beautiful, absolutely silky hair that falls to her waist and she doesn’t even need conditioner (she still conditions, of course). she has a button nose that aaron loves to bop and is a whiz with eye makeup and natural looks (yes, aaron does get his makeup done every so often)
thea! this one is tricky but i think thea is deeply rooted in south asian culture, primarily indian, two or three generations into america. there honestly isn’t much on thea, but i do like this headcanon. in her public appearances, thea is known for her elaborate hairstyles, gold eyeshadow, and plum lipstick
alvarez! she’s filipino (and non-binary, i’ve just decided, she/her pronouns but will slip in others occasionally) she keeps her hair no longer than chest length. she has a beauty mark under her eye and a prominent nose that laila loves to kiss. she collects colorful snapbacks and skateboards like a beast
i also read someone’s hc of wymack (and by extension kevin) being part native american, which i would like to explore! but have not thought very much about at this time and so have not considered the nuances and like. potential controversies with wymack’s tattoos

Bottom! Jennifer Jareau NSFW headcanon
spare tip, ma’am?
When she has hard days all JJ wants is go home and be spoiled by you
cooking her dinner while she takes a shower
giving her a massage before going to bed
JJ relaxes completely when she is with you, she doesn't need to be Agent Jareau or the badass, with you she can be just JJ
undressing her
paying attention to her tense muscles, covering them with kisses and love bites
PRAISE!
“such a pretty girl”
“you’re so beautiful”
teasing her and making her beg for it
You are between her thighs, kissing and nibbling, leaving marks here and there. You can feel her nails dig into your shoulder, encouraging you to keep going. You start with small licks until you reached her core. Using your fingers while sucking her clit.
giving her as many orgasms she can handle, before pulling her favorite strap.
fucking her at a slow pace, enjoying the moment and her expressions. If you were feelings generous
if not, you make her work for it, riding your strap, moving her hips up and down
making her cockwarm your strap while you read or work
“such a good girl”
has a daddy kink
mile high club
fucking her in Emily’s office
Appreciating and taking care of her
making JJ feel safe and loved

The Rosscars 2020
Wow. It’s that time of year again, only this time it’s different because it’s on a blog that no one will read! (hold for applause) Welcome to the first annual online publication for the Rosscars (hold for applause while the reader acknowledges how positively droll it is that I combined my name with “Oscars”). Who can forget such indelible Rosscar memories like when Steven Soderbergh surprised us all and won Best Director for Out of Sight or Bill Irwin’s beautiful speech upon winning Best Supporting Actor for Rachel Getting Married?! The Rosscars mean something different to everyone, but we all know that they mean quality choices made by a committee of one schmuck. This year’s Rosscars are bizarre because in an effort to be more like the Academy guidelines, film’s nominated have been released between January 1, 2020 and February 28, 2021. As usual, theatrical windows be damned, streamers are welcome. Of course, I have my gripes. I like categorizing movies by release year – specifically, when they become available to the plain old public like yours truly – not at festivals, limited runs in NYC and LA. Well, the Oscars are still weeks away and I feel like everybody wants to forget about last year and move onto this one that we’re already three months into - So here are my awards for the films, performers, and craftspeople that stood out in a pretty exceptional year for movies even though distribution was stranger than ever.
**A few caveats and guidelines to Rosscar newcomers (which I imagine is just a formality since we all know the Rosscars so well)**
The rules and categories are a little different around here. First, not every category is honored directly. That’s for a few reasons, chiefly that I don’t feel qualified to reward the technical categories properly – I suppose I should say that I feel less qualified to do so than the “above the line” categories. In keeping with the Academy standard, there are five nominees in each category, except for Best Picture, Best Non-Fiction/Documentary Feature, and Best Ensemble Cast which allow up to ten. Every category, save those three, will have the possibility of honorable mentions, because I want to highlight some things that just barely missed the cut. The narrowing down of a lot of these categories was awfully tough.
Nominees are listed alphabetically, and the winners are in bold and italics.
Also, it’s important to keep in mind that I couldn’t see everything (this isn’t a job and it’s still $20 to rent The Father, y’all) and that these are just the opinions of one (self-described) “bozo on the internet.” If you’re a reader and have different picks, feel free to share!
Special Commendations for some things that I want to recognize: • Ludwig Goransson for his Tenet score which is an absolute banger • The costumes of Emma. (Alexandra Byrne), Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (Ann Roth), and Small Axe (Jaqueline Durran, Sinéad Kidao, and Lisa Duncan) all struck me as exceptional • Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross with their scores for both Soul and Mank. Crazy that Pixar is working with the guy who made “Closer” • The cinematography of Da 5 Bloods (Newton Thomas Sigel), First Cow (Christopher Blauvelt), Beanpole (Kseniya Sereda), and A White, White Day (Maria von Hausswolff)
The Rosscars red carpet was, as usual, a bizarre affair. People filed into the theater and it seemed like the only encounters were awkward ones. Vin Diesel showed up in character as Bloodshot, Aaron Sorkin started getting really verbose about what a lovely night it was, and it became clear that most of the celebrities in attendance didn’t read their invitations closely enough to realize that this was not, in fact, the Academy Awards.
Everyone’s seated, and the show is under way. After a medley about the nominees this year by Common and Seth McFarlane that was more corny but clever than it was funny, the first official category is here, and the presenter is none other than... Ross!
Best Supporting Actor:
1. Chadwick Boseman for Da 5 Bloods
2. Matthew Macfadyen for The Assistant
3. Jesse Plemmons for Judas and the Black Messiah
4. Paul Raci for Sound of Metal

Honorable Mentions:

Everyone loves a montage. The audience gets comfortable in their seats as the video screens start to show a montage of some of the most famous moments from Hollywood’s most magical movies. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers waltz, gliding across a dance floor like two hovering angels. There’s a clip of Leo declaring himself king of the world in Titanic, the flying bicycles in ET, Bogart stares longingly into Bacall’s eyes, and then there’s some scene where Tom Cruise rides a motorcycle from 2010′s Knight and Day. The audience all seems confused how that last one got in there. The John Williams music swells as little Kevin McAllister screams when puts on aftershave. We see clips of Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver, Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia embrace Harrison Ford’s Han Solo, Bruce Lee smoothly declares that boards don’t hit back and... wait... was that a clip from Michel Gondry’s Green Hornet with Seth Rogen? And that’s a clip from What Happens in Vegas... Bad Teacher... Vanilla Sky... Shrek 2... Any Given Sunday... Everyone is flummoxed. The last clip fades out and a sole editing credit appears: Cameron Diaz. The lights come up and there’s some applause, but mostly confused murmurs.
The ceremony has had a bit of a misstep, but nothing it can’t recover from, especially as the next category is announced over the PA, and it looks like the presenter is... Ross!

1. Bacurau

We have a break in the action and it looks like Darius Rucker has showed up to perform what he would have nominated for Best Original Song. The crowd is absolutely furious as he starts playing a song that apparently was in Trial of the Chicago Seven. An ocean of sonorous boos and curses overtakes the the once docile crowd. The Rock just ripped his chair from out of the ground. Jane Lynch somehow smuggled in a civil war era flintlock pistol that she’s now pointing at the stage! Suddenly, the crowd unifies around what started as a confident chant of one lone audience member - John C Reilly. It’s growing... Ja Ja Ding Dong, Ja Ja Ding Dong, Ja Ja Ding Dong - it’s like the macabre circus performers from Tod Browning’s Freaks, but instead of chanting “Gooble Gobble” they’re clearly pining for Darius to change his tune to the silly and delightful jam from Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. Darius, scared for his life, leaves the stage, but here come Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams to deliver the goods. Busy Philips and Michelle Williams burst into tears. Tom Hanks nods in approval. A segment saved by brave artists placating a toxic group of fans... we’ve just witnessed a live version of the Snyder Cut, folks.
Jack Nicholson seems completely unfazed, giving a thumbs up to the camera and blowing a kiss to the next presenter. Coming to the stage is... Ross... again...
Best Actress:
1. Jessie Buckley for i’m thinking of ending things
2. Carrie Coon for The Nest
3. Han Ye-ri for Minari

5. Vasilisa Perelygina for Beanpole
Honorable Mentions – these cuts were especially painful
• Haley Bennet for Swallow
• Morfydd Clark for Saint Maud

8. Time
Jimmy Fallon has come out on stage to do a bit about the pandemic and watching movies at home. People are just absolutely not having it. He tries not to laugh at his own jokes while doing what I guess is technically a pretty good impression of Dr. Fauci interviewing James Corden as Martin Scorsese (the less said of this impression, the better) on what is or isn’t cinema. The bit doesn’t track and Fallon is absolutely tanking. The producers cut away from the stage to spare the viewers at home from this monstrosity. We see crowd shots of Millie Bobby Brown shaking her head in dismay, Colin Firth is simultaneously grimacing and trying to stave off laughter, Cynthia Erivo is texting, and director Tom Hooper is taking notes for his next film. Corden yells, “Carpool Karaoke! Remember?!” Ron Howard has fainted. This thing is almost completely off the rails.
Coming back to the stage is the next presenter, a clearly embarrassed... Ross! He’s in a total flop sweat, but stumbles his way through a joke about how Fallon should try co-hosting the Oscars with James Franco sometime. There are scant chuckles throughout a crowd that mostly just wants to see who won and go home.
Best Director:
1. Christopher Nolan for Tenet
2. Spike Lee for Da 5 Bloods
3. Steve McQueen for Small Axe
4. Kelly Reichardt for First Cow
5. Chloé Zhao for Nomadland
Honorable Mentions:
• Kitty Green for The Assistant
• Eliza Hittman for Never Rarely Sometimes Always
• Charlie Kaufman for i'm thinking of ending things
• Thomas Vinterberg for Another Round
Best Picture
1. Bacurau
2. Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar
3. Da 5 Bloods
4. First Cow
5. i'm thinking of ending things
6. Judas and the Black Messiah
7. Never Rarely Sometimes Always
8. Nomadland
9. Small Axe
10. Tenet
Accepting the award for best picture is none other than Eve, the cow actor who played the titular First Cow! The audience is enamored with how graceful she looks in her cow gown, and her speech, though indecipherable, is likely simple, observational, and deeply profound for those who speak cow.
Wow, what a ceremony! Hearts were broken, property was damaged, dreams were fulfilled... blood was shed? Damn it, Meryl Streep came in and mugged Charlie Kaufman before absconding with the trophy. Oddly, she’s a previous winner, so the attack isn’t out of need for hardware. People are reading through articles about production on Adaptation for potential motives. Streep made time for a photo opportunity, but remains at large.
I could go on ad infinitum about all of these nominees and winners themselves and why they did or didn’t make the cut, but that’d be better served in a different piece. For now, my thoughts on most of these can be found on the Best of 2020 write-up and over on my Letterboxd. And, as always, these awards can be revoked and redistributed at will, so don’t get too cozy with that statue, Danny Bilson!
On behalf of the RAOGL (Rosscars Association of One Guy at a Laptop), thanks for reading, and stay tuned as we’re establishing a tip line for anyone has seen Ms. Streep or her stolen valor Rosscar. We’ll see you next year. Keep watching movies, and keep arbitrarily quantifying them in terms of subjective quality!
