Sims 3 Gameplay Mods

I was going through MTS looking for mods to improve my gameplay and thought I would share the ones I downloaded!

Livestreaming Mod - Allows your sims to livestream from a PC for tips, blog followers, and celebrity points.

More Pregnancy Interactions - Adds more options for the pregnant sim and more social interactions with all age groups!

Yoga Mod - Allows your sim to do yoga and also lead a yoga class for simoleons.

Laundromat Fix - Actually empties the laundry hamper on your sims home lot when using a washing machine at a laundromat.

Dirty Laundry Mod - Gives your sim a negative moodlet when dirty laundry hasn't been washed in a few days. Gives more incentive to do your sims laundry!

Layoff Mod - Gives your sim a 2% chance at the end of every work day of being laid off. Depending on their work level they may get unemployment benefits.

Nicer Vendors - Overrides the default animations when interacting with vendors, looks more friendly.

Acne Mod - Gives teens-adults a chance of waking up with acne. Adds washing face options and applying acne toner at sink.

Sunscreen - Allows you to buy sunscreen from the store, will protect sims from getting a sunburn with Seasons installed. Works on vampire sims as well.

Restaurant Host Career - Allows your sim to work part time at diners/bistros as a host. Only 1 career level.

TSM > TS3 Facial Expressions - Overrides most s3 facial expressions with the sims medieval ones making them a lot more realistic and natural looking.

One With Nature - Allows your sims to sleep outside on ground, wash themselves in bodies of water, and go to the bathroom outside. Needs Nraas traveler mod to work. (Good for apocalyptic gameplays/adding realism?? haha)

Walk Cycle Edits - Overrides original walk cycles so there's no forced smile, allowing your sims to make facial expressions based on mood/surroundings.

The Randomizer Mod - Triggers more random events that effect your household. Adds more realism and can effects the relationships/friendships your sims have. (Can choose between which random event modules you want in your game based on play style!)

More Negative Moodlets - Negative moodlets cause a greater effect on your sims mood making it a bit more realistic.

Like moths drawn to a flame, you are the flame. And as we know from that old saying, it doesn't end well for the moths. You are the flame where all romantics go to die - or get burned at least. You are the holy grail at the end of a dangerous quest, the fountain of youth at the bottom of a steep waterfall, the promised land for those who cross the treacherous path. The cursed reward people get destroyed by and still can't seem to stay away from. The problem here isn't that you aren't someone people fall for, the problem is that you won't as easily fall for them. And that is a problem, just maybe not for you. And really, as long as you don't give them false expectations that's still fine. It isn't your fault that people are drawn to you. You're just too enchanting and not that open and people want to know more about you. It's not your fault they get too mesmerized by the pretty flames and forget to stop at a safe distance. The moths don't go to the flame because they want to get burned, it just ends up happening and it's the same with you. People don't fall for you because they want their hearts broken, it just ends up happening. And really maybe that's what they get in the bargain and maybe it's even worth it, a little bit of pain to try and romance someone like you. You are enchanting, but not that into relationships and romance so make sure to manage people's expectations when you start something with someone. It isn't your fault that their dream scenarios hurt them, so just do your best to make sure it keeps not being your fault. Your love burns beautiful and alluring, but very few can survive it. And you do love, just maybe not that often. But when you do it burns bright and beautiful and so very alluring - and that's the promise us romantics go get burned at. Still, you're someone people are almost mythically drawn to and wow, I think it's worth it. This little moth is heading for the flame, apparently.

Some more of that Chai joins Vandelay for half a day AU. Or just a picture of a kinda OOC Kale chilling if you wanna gloss over those comics. I'm still not sure if the colours are too garish or not.

These were mostly done with the premise of treating Kale's office like the hideout. I also really like how mundane, or familiar, the interactions between Chai and Kale can be in the game so I wanted to draw some stuff exploring more like that. But also, there's the ulterior motive of shipping so I included an out of context scene because I can't bother drawing the rest of it (though it seems like a huge jump in their relationship as a result. I think they're so big headed that they get stuck in a feedback loop of stroking the other's ego if an excuse comes up to do so)

you're so hot. sorry about the horrors. you're the kind of person people immediately notice. whether you have a distinct style, are more outgoing, or are just plain beautiful, you make an impression. people usually feel the need to protect you, which probably frustrates you to no end. you're not weak! you're not fragile! you're not helpless! but the people in your life tend to disagree. maybe it's your lover, the protagonist, trying to keep you out of their own turmoil. maybe it's someone responsible for you in some way, keeping you away from your lover, while they head down an increasingly dark path. regardless, all you really want is a sense of autonomy! unfortunately, you're very likely to die before that happens. the audience will be so caught up in the grief your death causes the protagonist that they forget to grieve you as a person — you deserved better, but unfortunately this is not your story. maybe it should have been.

Oscar sighs beside him and lightly punches Lando’s arm. "Leave it, mate."

"Nothing. I don’t know him." It’s a blatant lie. Charles doesn’t know if it’s the glaring amendment in his official file or the uptick in his heartbeat that makes George glance up from his datapad.

"Hm, well, I don’t know if I like him," Lando continues, stabbing his pancake with unnecessary force. "He’s walking around all sus, like he’s hiding something."

Oscar scoffs. "You were literally talking about grabbing a drink with the guy at the start of delta shift yesterday."

Lando squawks, as if his cover has been blown, and jabs his fork toward Oscar—who easily snatches it out of his hand and steals a bite of pancake.
