Just realized something about the magic academy series: It must be really weird to be the only one at school with a belly button.

Think about it.

A horse’s umbilical cord is far lower so it wouldn’t be visible on a centaur, and as far as we know dryads aren’t born at all like humans so they certainly don’t. Birds don’t have umbilical cords, which rules out harpies, and Aura definitely doesn’t have one.

I don’t think there are many situations where one of the characters would see the listeners belly button, but still. It would be odd to explain lol.

Would you say V'Valic is younger and/or shorter than Qashin? I think it would be funny if he was older yet shorter (or vice versa) because I see him holding his "advantage" over Qashin's head, but then gets sour and pouty when Qash does the same.

V: "Has no one taught you to respect your elders?"

Q: "Oh, what did you say, small one? I can hardly hear you from down there. You'll need to speak up." :)

Honestly I imagined the two to be roughly the same age, but it is true that V’valic is shorter than Qashin. I do really like that dynamic tho!!
