Don’t sleep on your Darakaraka placement (planet with lowest degree in your Sidereal chart).
I have a Saturn DK in the 1H and my ex had the same DK as me. They are a year older than me, super driven, self disciplined, and incredibly tall and skinny. They are also quite reserved and introspective. We knew each other for a long time before we started dating and went to school together and became close over the years.
My current love is a year older than me, tall and has Saturn conjunct their Venus and Mars. He’s always looking for ways to improve, responsible, patient hardworking, and loyal. My partner has Moon DK in the 3H and I have a Rohini Sun (Rohini nak is ruled by the Moon). I am dedicated, I provide comfort and nourishment, and i’m moody and sensitive. I lived on the same street as my partner our entire childhood before we even knew each other. We ended up talking online and hanging out after I moved from my childhood home and became best friends.
Both approached me directly to express their feelings. They also expressed extreme devotion towards me and the relationship. They’re super patient, very reliable, incredibly protective, and both possessed Saturn traits. They themselves also had very prominent Saturn placements.

↻ DARAKARAKA PLANET AND THE NATURE OF THE SPOUSE
basics of vedic astrology. ask box. pinned.
the planet having the lowest degree among the seven planets—sun, moon, mercury, venus, mars, jupiter and saturn is your darakaraka (abbrev.—dk). it is the planet that represents the nature of your 'opposite', or your future spouse.
note that this also represents the traits that you yourself do not embody. the partner is a form of the cumulations of traits that we most often desire in ourselves, what we seek subconsciously.
you can also think of your darakaraka planet as what you desire to be. for example, someone with a mars dk may desire to be more outspoken, energetic and courageous. darakaraka is the last significator among the seven planets because your future spouse is your other half; or, alternatively, it is representative of the things that you lack.
i would like to highlight that simply the planet is not enough an indicator of your spouse. the nakshatra placement of said placement matters a lot, too.
say, a female native has purva ashada jupiter in 7h with magha venus dk in 3h. both jupiter and darakaraka are massive fs indicators. we notice that jupiter is in a venus ruled nak and the dk is venus as well, so the fs will for sure be venus dominant. additionally, dk planet in magha indicates the fs may have ketuvian influence to their personality / appearance. maybe a gaunt body, or magnetic eyes. their ancestors (pitris) would be respected and / or worshipped in their family tradition. they might have a kingly personality. jupiter in 7h further increases their venusian quality. so we study the fs using many combinations like these. now say this person's venus was in 3rd house aries in navamsa. the relationship will be sexually passionate, and the spouse could be of fiery demeanour. impatient, and demanding. they could be oblivious to the native's efforts a times, and this would hurt them. if say venus was also combust from sun, then there would be quarrels with the spouse. if venus was conjunct mars closely, then the native could be promiscuous leading to fights with the spouse. if venus was conjunct mercury, the fs could have a sibling.
so on, and so forth. i've tried my best to be as inclusive and detailed as possible; but know that these are general observations. your fs won't be a king just because it sounds like that. i speak by taking both, the worst and best case scenarios.
SUN DARAKARAKA
if you hope to expand your business, form connections or just overall want to improve your professional life, then sun darakaraka is a good indication that your spouse will help you in said endeavour. they will very likely be the dominant partner in the relationship, or at least be responsible for the more practical side of the relationship.
the spouse is a resemblance of the native's outward nature. it is not the best thing to have sun or moon as dk since there are ego issues involved in these placements. the spouse is a reflection of who the native is internally or externally, and their negative traits could trigger the native. while transformation is a good thing, in a married couple it can lead to resentment. i personally believe that with a sun or moon dk it is advisable to cultivate patience. understanding yourself is key to understanding the spouse.
they are nurturing but may turn controlling. it would be good to take some time away from them and spend it on yourself to ensure you don't completely give in to everything they say and lose your personality. also, to be fair, they don't appreciate dependent or weak people. so if you lose your sense of personality around them, then you might end up loosing your romantic appeal in their eyes. make them realise that they're not the only thing in your life and their respect for you will always remain high.
the relationship here can easily turn egoistical, so it is advisable to ensure that the spouse does not turn too distant. they can take impulsive decisions at times, so keep an eye on them discreetly (because they will not appreciate it if they catch you, either). just look out for them, i mean. with a sun dk, the spouse may have a broad face and traditionally masculine appearance. wide shoulders, or long legs. strong arms and thigh region. there could be stress around their eyes or neck region, and they could often overwork themselves.
the spouse would appreciate being looked after. simple gestures aren't enough to win their heart, but they never go unnoticed. it affirms them and encourages them to look after their spouse, so they will return the favour in the form of actions and taking more responsibility off your shoulders. ( i was kind of hesitating in saying this but here we go; sun dk may indicate a spouse who likes a tease😉 yk, the usual; decorating the bedroom with flowers / candles / whatever aesthetic they appreciate and wearing smth sexy gets them going 😏 they are genuinely hard working though, so they find themselves both physically and emotionally fulfilled when presented with such gestures. ) they may not act romantic all the time, because their way of expressing love is by taking as much burden off their spouse's shoulders as possible.
MOON DARAKARAKA
a moon dk makes the native less emotional by nature and their spouse is more emotional than them. the spouse is usually beautiful, or at least has rounder features. for those who seek women partners, moon dk bestows fertility, beauty and fine speech. for those seek male partners, moon dk bestows wit, round features, medium to short stature, and the ability to lie and manipulate.
lunar energy is better handled by women; and in men, lunar energy is only nurtured properly if the moon is in good dignity or the native also has leo placements. moon in detriment for lunar male native will make him apathetic to the plight of women and he may also be corrupt by nature. regardless, a mood dk will not be very beneficial if moon is overall weak or a malefic in the chart. the spouse would be emotionally unstable or have mental disorders in the worst case.
with a moon dk, your spouse would light up your domestic life. because the native would not be much interested in the home and hearth themselves (especially if they don't have cancer or taurus placements), the spouse will look after most of the organization of the house. yes, this can bestow a selfish character to the native. but not mandatorily, of course. the native would like seeing the home clean but may not contribute much to it. that, or the spouse would rather look over the house of their own accord.
the spouse would be intensely passionate about their career. whatever they do to make an earning, it will be almost religious to them. work is like duty to them. they worship it, and they respect money and labour. they may overwork themselves to stay true to their selves to the point of developing eating disorders or losing physical charm. (lose physical charm in the sense that they may suddenly lose a lot of weight and our body fat, rolls and curves are a part of our auspiciousness and beauty.)
the domestic life would be pleasurable and the in-laws are usually quite happy when the native having moon dk has a female partner. she will be of gentle nature, and also be sexually, uh, hungry? lenient? demanding? somehow, a mix of all three. she will desire sex, and she will be lustful and she may even chase after others after wedlock if the dk moon is aspected by mars or venus. hence why moon can give mixed results. in the best case scenario she would be chaste, highly ambitious about her career, caring, impressive and melancholic.
the spouse is a resemblance of the native's internal nature. it is not the best thing to have sun or moon as dk since there are ego issues involved in these placements. the spouse is a reflection of who the native is internally or externally, and their negative traits could trigger the native. while transformation is a good thing, in a married couple it can lead to resentment. i personally believe that with a sun or moon dk it is advisable to cultivate patience. understanding yourself is key to understanding the spouse.
be patient with a female spouse. she will be emotionally vulnerable and gentle hearted. her mood swings will be irrational and intolerable at times, and it is advisable to simply let her be by herself to calm down for a while. be cautious with a male spouse. he may be disloyal and seek other partners even after wedlock. he may especially have such tendencies if his own venus is conjunct mars. he would be even more prone to showing such behaviour when upset, so don't just let him storm off. a nice meal or a forceful hug almost always has these people listening. also, don't break their trust; they completely lose respect for your words and promises after that.
MERCURY DARAKARAKA
an ideal darakaraka if you're looking for a spouse who will also be your partner-in-crime, as well as closest confidant. the spouse will be as much a friend as a partner, and themes of light-heartedness will be apparent. they may appear air-headed, but their appearance is not one to go by; especially those who are seeking to have a female partner.
the spouse would be clever, with a lot of connections and a good social life. if they want to, they can pull strings to get their work done. they enjoy the leisure of life and may have hedonistic tendencies. regardless, they are clever and diplomatic. they know what to say, and what not to. even their silence has meaning. anger manifests as abandonment with them, so if you're not observant enough, you may end up chasing them away further when they are upset. they are less emotional and adopt rationality in most situations.
they would be charming, with attractive facial features. they may be medium to tall in height or skinny. their face could be symmetric in a unique way. as in, moles on exact opposite sides of the face, or a completely symmetric hairline. regardless, they will be very finicky about their appearance and would require reassurance from their spouse (you). they could be a lover of flowery scents or wooden undertones. if natal mercury is in water sign then they could adore the smell of wet earth. if natal mercury is in ketu nakshatras, then they could be childish and innocently oblivious in matters of the heart.
they may seek company just as a child does, and can be childish. they may test others' patience sometimes. they may accidentally upset their mother-in-law, which may lead to fights with the spouse. they may love being chased in the relationship. they would be forever young, and be appreciated for their liveliness even in old age. they are a trickster, and would have tendencies to manipulate others if dk mercury is also in mercury nakshatras or natal mercury is in 7th/8th house.
if mercury becomes dk while forming mahapurusha yoga, the spouse would be endowed with fine speech, a quick mind, ability to make money and manage it well. they would be bright of mind and likeable. they would almost have a childish charm that attracts people to them, allowing them many opportunities in life. they would have a pleasant disposition and be fond of laughter. they could also like sweet meats or chocolate.
VENUS DARAKARAKA
a genuinely good darakaraka placement to have. if darakaraka venus is in leo, the native will respect women a lot. if dk leo venus is in the 2nd or 3rd house, native may be oral about their activism for women empowerment.
for venus dk, the married life will be pleasurable. the spouse will be attractive, charming, have pleasing aesthetics and pay attention to cleanliness. they often pay good attention to their spouse (the native themselves, that is) and are romantic. they may appreciate gestures that express love, however big or small they may be. although they could be vain, or even prideful in the worst of cases. if venus is weak in the chart, then there will be struggles in the married life. there could be arguments, and problems in conceiving.
the spouse will be what the native desires in a partner. they will have ideal characteristics a wife may desire of her husband, although he / she may not make a good parent. it is important not to ignore the children in favour of the spouse. the native having venus dk will be the more prominent parent in the child's life. the home and hearth will be comforting places for the couple, and the home will be beautifully decorated. they will go on vacations often, too.
the spouse will resemble the ideal beauty of their gender / race / nationality etc. they may even have an auspicious appearance; as in, soft pink feet, heart shaped face, curly hair, lotus shaped birth mark, moles on the face for women etc.
venus in the dharma trikona: the spouse will be knowledgeable and fair. they will value justice as a part of society and may dislike selfishness or displays of lack of dignity or grace. they will be well guided in life and guide their spouse towards greater heights as well. the native will respect their spouse a lot. the married life will be divinely protected and the couple will share many successes, gain prosperity and receive luxuries. if the venus is weak while in the dharma trikona, the spouse may be morally corrupt. the spouse would be more self centered and may even ignore their children in favour of the native. venus in the artha trikona: a favourable placement to have if the native is involved in business or is career focused and wishes to climb the stairs of material success. the spouse will support this pursuit both in terms of connections and their own, personal effort towards encouraging the native and helping them with technicalities. there will be no lack of material wealth. dk venus in 6th house will make the couple devoted to each other and they would not engage in promiscuity. even more favourable if the native is a libra rising. the couple will donate a lot, and will gain name and fame for their generosity. if venus is unfavourable in the chart, the spouse will be greedy for money, fame and power. they would have no problem manipulating the native and the couple will share mistrust. the native may end up resenting the spouse. money will be abundant, but it will be spent for one reason or the other as soon as it comes into the house. venus in the kama trikona: luxury, a large, beautiful and envy-inspiring home, gifts from the spouse and the like themes are associated here. a personal blessing from the gods if venus also receives aspects from saturn or jupiter. even jupiter's gaze falling on venus is highly auspicious. money will be spent easily and in abundance, but it will also come in the house quickly. if saturn aspects venus, the spouse will appreciate budgeting. just an overall great placement to have, the spouse is intensely romantic for this placement. if venus is unfavourable in the chart, the spouse could be finicky and stingy; but only towards the native. the native will not enjoy their position as the spouse. the native will feel unloved because of the lack of action and initiative in their romantic ventures from their spouse. the spouse may try to make up for it with sweet words, but it will not satisfy the native. venus in the moksha trikona: a highly favourable placement if you wish to pursue spirituality, or work towards occult sciences after marriage. the spouse will be spiritually inclined and the relation between the couple will be emotionally rich. truly magical, it reminds me of that one hindi movie wherein a kashmiri couple are displaced from their home due to terrorist activities and have to live as refugees in the outskirts of delhi and punjab. they struggle a lot, but the love between them only deepens the further life tests their bond. suffice to say that there will be struggles when the princely venus is thrown into the mud of struggles of common life, but it is only under these circumstances that a lotus blooms. concluding, i wish to say that this placement is not as dreamy as the others, but the spouse is very supporting, kind and encourages the native to attain moksha. the spouse will believe in spirituality and gods grace will be upon this couple if jupiter, saturn or sun aspect venus. with aspects from sun, ensure venus is not combust, otherwise quarrels will be there in the relationship. an unfavourable venus in these houses will reap the opposite results. the spouse can be materialistic. they could show hedonistic tendencies and be unemotional. lack of understanding within the relationship, and worst case scenario, the spouse may cheat on the native. it is advisable to chant sri suktam as often as possible in a divine, quaint and clean setting. keep the bedroom clean, and avoid letting too many people into your sleeping chambers.
venus while being dk if forms a mahapurusha yoga gives a highly knowledgeable spouse who would be interested in occult sciences and have great desire to master the vedas. they would be of beautiful physique and very likely rich. they would form a lot of connections and the women in their life would be highly supportive of them. they would be sensual and romantic. as a parent they would teach their child to respect women foremost, and would set an amazing example of an ideal man / woman by treating their spouse with love and respect. their child would love them a lot. they could be of kingly / royal background.
i won't be able to make a generalization for other dks other than venus since i was unable to generalize in the others. venus mostly gave the same results, though.
MARS DARAKARAKA
the soul desires a passionate, long lasting love. with a mars darakaraka, other than having a fun, spontaneous and adventurous spouse, the native may also desire wanting to be liberated from societal expectations. go wild, so to say. maybe they limit themselves too much, but mars dk people actually suffer from their rich desires in life that are sometimes even impossible. but other times maybe they just desire dancing in the rain, hanging off a moving car, go scuba diving, etc.
mars dk bestows in the native an intense desire to love, and be loved. these are passionate people and once they decide that they love you, they will look out for you in whatever way they can or you let them. it's not easy for their love to die. mars dk natives lust for intensity, and they prove it. it's really ride or die with these people, they are genuinely obsessive to the point of their own ruin. remember that it's important to remain self loving too, no matter how much you love someone. at the end of the day you're the only one who will love you.
now, the spouse of the mars dk native is often sexually attractive or strong looking. and i mean both in terms of personality and looks, or either even. maybe they look like they could punch you, or just very argumentative, they come off as being strong either way. they have a reddish undertone to their skin and may even have acne. they could have scars on their face or body, and appear experienced with struggles in life. although they aren't, not as much as saturn dk native's spouses anyway.
the spouse would be active, sporty and bright. they could be im jobs that have them running around all day, even a lot of travelling is possible. government jobs that often have them transferring from this place to that. they may even be an engineer if natal mars dk forms contact with saturn. it is preferable that saturn make indirect contact such as via sign exchange, house exchange, or drishti instead of direct conjunction since that will bring struggles into the native's life.
mars dk gives a spouse who is hot tempered and easily loses their patience. they would be tyrannical if mars is combust, and the relationship would suffer a lot due to this. if mars is conjunct venus, then the spouse would be loyal, beautiful and sexually passionate but the native themselves may be of loose morals or character. it is advisable not to keep a toe out of line when in a relationship with a mars dominant person since much like solar people, the relationship runs on two things; namely love and respect. if the respect is lost, the relationship turns bitter and there will be many fights.
the spouse would be appreciative of the native's efforts in life and the native would feel seen with their spouse. they would live a happy life together if jupiter comes into contact with mars. the couple would be blessed with virtuous progeny and all sorts of luxuries in such a case.
mars forming a mahapurusha yoga while being dk would bring a spouse who is virtuous, passionate, fierce, fights for their rights, unafraid of challenges, of reddish skin, having strength in the arms and have sturdy feet and body. this would give excellent results, as well. they would make a good parent, but they may unintentionally transfer their own prejudices / ideas to their children without giving them the space to grow. they would need to work on this. but they would make an amazing spouse who would always stand by your side, even in the most adverse of conditions.
JUPITER DARAKARAKA
the spouse is, by extension, one's teacher when jupiter becomes the darakaraka. the partner will be religious / spiritual, benevolent, wealthy, optimistic, fair and of curvaceous physique. emotionally, they will be private but have a rich inner world. they spend a lot of time cultivating their knowledge and inner world and hence are selective about the crowd they mingle with. but they are still polite and find suitable worth even in the smallest of events or people. they would also love the arts.
the spouse will be money minded. they could prioritize themselves a lot, and could put off an egoistic or sensitive native. it needs to be noted that while they are kind and benevolent, they give worth to their hard work and don't let it go to waste. they utilise connections and place importance in human connections. still, a jupiter dk can give a somewhat distant spouse, emotionally. they will recognize and execute their duties in the house accordingly, and not do anything less or more. they will teach their child good values and would make for good role models.
by extension, i must mention that while this is extremely rare (unfortunately, because most men are entitled pricks who not only learn to disrespect women from their fathers but are also often protected unfairly by their mothers who should, as women themselves, correct them but don't), jupiter darakaraka can bestow the 'ideal' husband who worships his wife. or, the 'ideal' wife who remains devoted and loving to her husband. and not in a leech-like obsessive way, but rather in the way common imagination narrates it.
guidance towards the best ideals, romantic ventures, completely loyalty to the wife / husband, caring and kind, however you envision it. especially true for natives who seek a female partner, since jupiter dominance in female natives usually bestows a virtuous and pleasant personality. of course, a lot of aspects matter here. like a retrograde jupiter will destroy this; or a weak or debilitated jupiter. even jupiter in eighth reduces the auspiciousness of this planet.
darakaraka jupiter mostly bestows good results. it is especially beneficial for the native to inculcate habits of the ministerial jupiter who is of sattwa guna (of auspicious nature), wise, patient and the teacher of all. jupiter is also directly linked with shri hari vishnu, so for hindus, it is advisable to hold fasts on thursday or ekadashi (the 11th day of every month in the hindu calendar) to be under his grace. the grace of shri vishnu is said to save man from the worst depths of hell, and rise from common greed and sin.
wearing gold and yellow hued clothes increases the auspiciousness of one's jupiter.
jupiter forming mahapurusha yoga while being the dk is highly favourable for the native's spiritual life; bestowing a spiritually inclined spouse who would be prosperous and wealthy. they would have a lot of in depth knowledge about various topics of interest and they would love teaching to others. they would be kind to those who wish to learn from them and make for an excellent parent and role model. their child would both fear them and respect them. the child would be closer to the native than the spouse, emotionally. they would also make an excellent and pleasant spouse.
SATURN DARAKARAKA
the spouse is diligent of nature and polite by virtue. they might be the epitome of raising one's own empire; not quite literally, of course. but they will be self made. they are protected by saturn; treating them unfairly will have consequences. if someone manages to achieve something with 2 hours of work, it might take them 6 hours. there remains a theme of struggle with the spouse's life, but they will know how to emerge from tough situations. they would value tradition, culture and religion a lot. they could make their father figure in their life their role model, and end up becoming an even better person than them.
spouse may have dark hair and sunken, tired looking eyes. hooded eyes. tall and lean appearance, regardless of height. they may appear tired all the time, or obvious indicators on their face that they work a lot. mature looking, looks older than their age. usually have long, bony fingers. they might have a strong bone structure in their face. they could be very beautiful if saturn is aspected by jupiter or venus. if not, then they would have a structured face regardless.
the spouse may have uncordial relations with their father, and would be more unconventional by thought. they won't bind themselves with useless restrictions. it might be difficult to understand them, especially emotionally as they might be very reserved in terms of expressions. they will be less romantic and will be more focused on career and the more practical aspects of the relationship over other themes. (this does not mean they will not be romantic, they are just more grounded than the others. they are not lovers of romance like the venus dks or complete workaholics like solar dks. they simply value longevity, is all. lack of structure will put them off and they would rather sort it out first.)
is saturn is conjunct venus, or jupiter, then the spouse's love would stand the test of time. if natal saturn is in 7th house they would like being taken care of in terms of service; as in preparing them a bath, taking care of their study room, washing their hair, managing money or other practical affairs in their stead. they would love you regardless, but they would respect you a lot if you do so.
if natal saturn is in 1st house then they would love giving the same treatment to the native, or at least it would be beneficial for them to. if, however, saturn is also in cap / aqua while in the 1st house, then dk saturn will give adverse results and the good qualities of the spouse would be destroyed. they may even be lazy and dull. however aries saturn in 1st house will give good results, but there will be fights and periods of isolation between the couple.
saturn forming a mahapurusha yoga while being dk would give a spouse who might as well be a millionaire, or have the potential of becoming one. they would be hard-working, respectful and of amazing morality and character. while not everybody would adore them, everyone would certainly respect them. they would be slow, but dedicated and deliberate. they would be very attractive of physique, and if natal mars is conjunct jupiter in the spouse's chart, then they may.. er, be sexually strong. an amazing placement to have! they would teach their child the importance of hard work and diligence and their child would respect them, even though they may not end up being emotionally attached to them.
since we were on the topic of spouses, i wanted to address one major thing which often bothers a lot of people. when we talk about these planets, signs, houses, aspects, etc then we mention a lot of good and bad. we discuss what would be good about the relationship and what would be bad. for venus and jupiter dk i particularly highlighted money, fame and riches. but do all natives having these dk have loving spouses? this is why at the end of the day, it all circles back to karma. which responsibility you ran from in your previous lives, what sins you committed, which people you betrayed, how you betrayed them, etc. if there's one thing that will never leave you then that is the result of your own actions. i know, and i never say that trauma, fear, abuse are things that you deserved because of your bad karma; that was someone else who absolutely ruined their own soul and mind by trying to hurt yours. what karma is, however, the people who could save you but who you never had. trustworthy parents. caring spouse. loving siblings. reliable friends. other souls who care about your soul; and when you don't have them in your life, is when you realize that you have committed wrongs against others. maybe you were the aggressor in some other life. maybe you were a german who secretly revealed a jewish neighbour to the nazis. maybe you were the man who abandoned his wife for his career. maybe you were the child who left their old parents on the streets. maybe you were the child who suicided and left their parents to mourn. maybe you were the sibling in whose favour your parents forcefully married off their more than capable daughter. maybe you were the 14 year old boy who raped a girl; a girl who could have been the next genius but suicided because of you and you never knew. you could be the mother who abandoned her child to marry a richer man. you cold be the father who never loved his girl child so the child never knew what true love was and kept getting manipulated by other men. you could be the co worker due to whom a talented young lady lost her ambition. maybe, maybe, maybe. you will receive punishment for your wrong doings, but even the universe is a form of parent to us. it will not break you to the point of no return, and in every darkness you will find a beacon of light. a pet, maybe. good food, nice friends, random strangers who are kind to you, a sparrows song, a flower's scent; these are all blessings, and it is with exposing ourselves to the truth that we learn and develop as people. the reason i say this is because people have high expectations of their partners, but they could be the worst sort of person in your eyes. and that's okay. at the end of the day you can only carry out your own duty. even wanting to see or understand the fruit of your dutiful nature is a worthless pursuit. please don't be disheartened, we all have our own struggles in life. and in some way, we can all, together help each other to deal with our problems with a kind smile :)

Darakaraka Planet Astro Observations
Some notes about the DK planet in your chart, aka the planet that represents your spouse in your birth chart
Click here if you don’t know your DK planet yet.
♡ People with Moon DK get into many relationships in their lifetime, and with every single person they partner with they say “this is the one” or “this is my soulmate” they tend to attach quickly once they meet someone, assume that’s their soulmate , then break up shortly after.
♡ People with Moon DK usually run it back with people from the past. Often reconciliation happens here.
♡ Women with Moon DK will swear someone is their soulmate and you cannot convince them otherwise.
♡ People with Moon DK often attract a partner who has Mrigashira nakshatra prominent in their charts. This is bc Mrigashira’s deity is the Moon.
♡ If you have Mars DK, not only do you attract Martians but you attract Ketu dominant people as well. Ketu energy is very similar to Mars so your future spouse will have Ketu naks or Ketu dominance in general.
♡ Men with Mars DK like women who are independent and feisty. They tend to be soft bois who like a woman who is slightly masculine in nature.
This meme is literally Men with Mars DK and their spouses:
♡ I’ve seen women with Jupiter DK almost always get a husband that has desirable qualities. Husband is supportive, stable, generous, a good father etc this is the best DK planet a woman can have in my opinion.
♡ Women with Sun DK treat their spouse as their “king” or have a fantasy of being rescued by Prince Charming.
♡ Women with Sun DK can be “pick me’s” too.
♡ People who have Sun DK will attract a spouse who is selfish.
♡ When your DK planet is the Sun or Moon your spouse is quite similar to you since those are your luminary’s. It feels like a mirror between you too.
♡ Mercury DK people have “shiny object syndrome” in relationships. They find someone they like, then they meet someone they like more , then another person, then another, they can have many options in love and have an insatiable need to choose them all.
♡ Men with Mercury DK are “fboyish” bc of this.
♡ People with Mercury DK in general tend to be a bit promiscuous or they attract promiscuous people.
♡ I’ve also seen out of all the DK planets, people with Mercury DK will manifest their spouse through scripting.
♡ For some reason Moon DK almost always gets into a partnership that is interracial.
♡ Women with Venus DK get a spouse that is tall and manly looking. Usually hairy too.
♡ Women with Saturn DK also get a spouse who has traits that are considered desirable by society. They get a husband who is mature, reliable and dependable.
♡ The downside with Saturn DK though is that it gives a spouse who is cheap with money, and tend to have a grumpy attitude.
♡ If your DK planet is in the 8th house, then you benefit financially from your spouse in a major way.

DK through the Houses
Darakaraka (DK) Is the planet that has the lowest degree in your vedic natal chart. DK is said to represent your spouse.
Planet, sign + aspects will influence the accuracy. This is going to give surface level insight. It is not a personal read of your placement.
DK in 1st House
You can be controlled by the spouse. This can indicate they are decisive and assertive. They will plan/handle most things that happen in your life. Depending on the planet and its sign placement, you can like or dislike this about the spouse/marriage.
DK in 2nd House
Your money is likely to be managed by the spouse. Spouse may cook or you cook mainly what they desire. Spouse will influence the relationship you have with your family after marriage - bring you closer, separate you or remain neutral. This will depend on the planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment).
DK in 3rd House
Your spouse can influence your communication - who you talk with, what you talk about, etc.
Your spouse can take the responsibility of communicating with neighbours. They can befriend neighbours or if reason to talk with neighbours occurs, they will take care of it.
Your spouse will influence you relationship with siblings. This can be negative (conflict occurs) or positive (they become friends). This would depend on the planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment).
DK in 4th House
Spouse will take on main (not full) control of the home. Where, which home you buy. How the home is decorated. Fixing the home if something goes wrong. Cutting grass, cleaning gutters, etc.
The spouse will take on responsibility for your happiness. Either they feel obligated to keep you happy or your happiness is heavily affected by spouse's moods. Accuracy will heavily be influenced by planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment).
DK in 5th House
Spouse will be very focused on children - raising them or having them. They will influence your education and hobbies as well. EX: Depending on the planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment), they may encourage or discourage you if you wanted to get higher education. They may want control of children's education - homeschool, public or private school, religious school, etc.
DK in 6th House
Spouse will take on responsibilities of your enemies and health. Depending on planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment), the spouse could encourage your anger or encourage you to resolve issues you have.
EX I have seen irl: Sun DK conjunct Venus in 6th: This person does not speak to their biological parents, spouse encouraged them to talk issues out with them. This person declined but still we see the spouse suggesting resolution.
Spouse could be very routined. They could influence your diet - vegan or non-vegan. If you have pets, they could take on more responsibility of taking care of those pets.
Your marriage is likely to be very even especially is venus or libra influences this placement. I have observed this in so many relationships where the spouse and person split household chores, cooking, dish washing, bills, etc. It is not likely for the couple to divide based on traditional gender roles like man will cut the grass, woman will cook and do dishes. It's more like one will cook, the other will do dishes.
DK in 7th House
Spouse will take on main responsibilities for partnerships in your life. They will involve themselves in any conflict you get into - ex: you are fighting with you sister over something small, they will involve themselves in the conversation.
If you were to get into any legal issues, they will take on responsibility like helping fill paper work, reminding you of court date. However keep in mind, accuracy is dependent on the planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment).
DK in 8th House
Your spouse can be heavily involved in their own family matters. They can be very secretive and observant. EX: Someone who pays a lot for good home security.
Accuracy dependent on the planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment).
DK in 9th House
The spouse will teach you something. They can educate you on their beliefs, politics or religion or culture. Depending on the planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment), the spouse could do this arrogantly or kindly.
You can meet mentor type people through the spouse. Like someone from the spouse's family could help you advance your knowledge on your career, your beliefs, your education, etc.
DK in 10th House
The spouse is a workaholic. Depending on the planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment), spouse could positively or negatively influence your career and reputation. EX: Saturn DK in Cap 10th, spouse's discipline and dedication to career inspires you to start doing better.
Spouse could influence your career by somehow deciding where you work, what you do for work, if you can change your career or not. They can involve themselves in your career and work. You could end up working together or meeting at work.
EX: You are a teacher, they will suggest ideas for projects that you take. Or spouse will decide where you work because they decide to move for their career, thus you have to look for a new job in the new location.
DK in 11th House
Your spouse will influence your social circle. They can introduce you to new people. They can intentionally or unintentionally separate you from old friend - ex: you move & meet new people, lose touch with your childhood friends.
Your spouse will influence your desires/goals in life. An example I have seen: person wanted to travel and study abroad for a masters, after marrying their spouse this changed to wanting to raise a family. They had Moon DK in sag 11th House.
Accuracy for yourself will be influenced by the planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment). As well as aspects and 7th House.
DK in 12th House
Your spouse can control the money that you spend.
Your spouse can influence your sleeping habits. EX: You can't sleep until spouse is in bed or spouse develops sleep apnea.
Accuracy will be dependent on the planet (is it benefic or malefic) and the sign (neutral, exalted or detriment).

Vedic Astrology - Future Spouse Prediction: Appearance part 1
When making predictions about the appearance of the spouse we need to look at both charts, the D1 Rasi and the D9 Navamsa. And in both charts we look again at the 7th house, because the 7th house in the D1 represents the 1st house (the face/appearance) of the spouse, and the 7th house in the D9 as well but the traits are more intensified. It will give you more precise descriptions of your spouse.
What we need to look for is:
Step 1
Which planets are present in the 7th house (if planets are present in the 7th house, then those planets will have a signifant influence in the traits of the spouse, not only appearance wise but also personality wise. Especially the Nakshatra placement of the planets in the 7th house. You will have to look at the traits of that Nakshatra. Now, if no planets are present in the 7th house, you gotta look at the 7th house lord, the planet that rules over the sign in the 7th house and where that planet is placed. I came to realize many times that in case of an empty 7th house, the ruling planet of that house acts weak in its characteristics and draws traits from the sign and Nakshatra where it's placed in. And this I have seen prominantly in appearance analysis.
For example: A person has Gemini or Virgo as sign of the 7th house in their D9 chart. That makes Mercury the ruler/lord of the 7th house. Mercury makes someone skinny, petite, with a small or an angular face and very youthfull appearance but can also just give shortness in general, short feet/hands/fingers. With Moon or Venus influence on Mercury the skinnyness will lack, because it will give volume to the physique. Also they will look either very attentive and curious or zoned out, like their mind is always busy. If there is no planet placed in the 7th house, these traits of Mercury won't be as prominent. Then the spouse will carry maybe only one or two attributes of Mercury and will carry mostly the physical attributes of the Nakshatra where Mercury is placed.
Step 2
Also count in the influences of the planets that are placed in the same house as the 7th lord (in this case Mercury) if there are any present.
Influences of the Planets:
I have mentioned Mercury above. Moon and Venus, will give a voluptious, curvy body type in women and in men they may add some volume/roundness in the chest or booty. In women Venus and Moon can cause volume around the lower abdomen because of fertility reasons, especially in Nakshatra's which have a rat yoni, Magha and Purva Phalguni. Moon is strongly associated with motherhood, I've seen that in women it can result in a mother-like even 1-3 years older spouse (wife), where as in men it can result in a 1-3 years younger spouse (husband). But in both genders Moon will give a youthful and round face and big round eyes. Sun and Mars will give a muscular and toned body type in men and broad or stockier body type in women, especially for Sun in the upper body (shoulders, arms, back). Mars will enhance the muscles. Jupiter will give either tall height and slenderness or short height but stockiness and it also gives an elongated face shape. It can also give a prominent expansion in one specific body part which catches attention. Saturn is a tricky one... it can either give a mature and very serious and bony appearance or a young and non-aging appearance especially with Venus/Moon/Mercury aspects. But the maturity will be there, always. The maturity and age difference is what distincts Saturn from other planets, so you can definitely count that in, I have seen this in pretty much 98% of charts. Saturn also gives either thick, bushy brows or very thin, fine eyebrows. Another traits of Saturn is dullness in the skin tone, it can gives some greyness or paleness in the skin tone, also dryness in the skin or proneness to skin irritations like acne. And now this one is intetesting, the front teeth, they can either be very prominent and big or maybe crooked in some cases. Rahu and Ketu will give exoticness, unorthodox appearance, outside of the norm, characteristics which are considered non-traditional and foreign, different culture/ethnicity, unique sense of fashion, hair styles, tattoos, piercings. In women I have noticed with Rahu they tend to wear colored contacts (illusion) and apply lots of blush because here also the skin tone might be dull, especially under the eyes in the case of an solar eclipse (Sun-Rahu combination in the same house) Sun represents vitality and the eyes. With the eclipse, Rahu is taking that away, causing bluish/greyish tone under the eyes, which can result in women using too much blush (redness) in their makeup. With a lunar eclipse (Moon-Rahu combination in the same house) they may use too much highlighter to recreate that luminous glow.
Step 3
Look at the special traits of the Nakshatra where the 7th lord is placed in. There are plenty of videos on youtube by Indian astrologers who brake down all the secrets of each Nakshatra. And they are very accurate.
For example: In Jyeshta, a person will love wearing circular earrings, even multiple ones at once because of its symbol "the earring". Along with Anuradha they will have doe-like eyes, because of their deer yoni. Rohini and Mrigashira love wearing colored contacts especially in green tones because of their snake yoni. Revati have feet where their toes are spread just like the fins of fish. Ashwini and Shatabishak will have mascular thighs or calves because of the horse yoni. Chitra and Vishakha will either have freckles or many tiny beauty marks/moles on their face because of the tiger yoni. Chitra with the female tiger yoni is prone to have stretch marks somewhere on their body (hips/stomach/breast/arms). Mrigashira have a round/crecent/arrow shaped scar or a mark on their forehead, usually in the middle, giving a symbolic appearance like the third eye of Shiva. Magha and Purva Phalguni turn red (sunburn) before developing a tan, they are also prone to small burn accidents from cooking (with oil) and their hair will naturally have a redish undertone. Magha will have a prominent mole near their shoulder, symbolizing royalty they also keep their hair long, mostly noticible in men, but women keep their hair very long. Purva Bhadrapada will have an injured (generally are prone for injuries of the) left leg/foot or have a scar. They also are associated with twins, either they are a twin or have siblings who are twins (nothing to do with the looks but is an upfront trait). Hasta will have a golden glow to their skin, because of its deity Savitr (Sun God). Also an upfront trait, their name (meaning) will be strongly associated with sun or gold.
I've had a really hard time breaking this down, because it goes so deep and complex it wasn't easy to structure this analysis any better. I really tried to explain this in a comprehendable way possible. I hope it's not too all over the place. But yeah as you can see, it takes a lot of in deph understanding, especially when it comes to the Nakshatra's and their very specific secret traits. This was only very surface level. To find out more about the traits of the Nakshatra's you can watch videos on yt by KRSchannel or LunarAstro, and research on vedic astrology websites. If I remember anything important which I forgot to mention, I might come back and add them here again or maybe do a part 2 for this.
Thanks for reading🌺

Vedic Astrology Musings
Topic: Sun as darakaraka
Sun Darakaraka leads to partnerships with people who hold positions of authority or are generally respected and admired by the people around them for their tenacity and resilience. In my personal opinion, it is more of the latter. People with this Darakaraka search for partners who are dependable and reliable. They look for partners who value honesty above all else and tend to look for humor in every situation. Someone with a Sun Darakaraka wants a partner like Lexi Branson from The Vampire Diaries. Honest, funny, strong and loyal until the very end.
People with the Sun as their darakaraka tend to attract and search for partners reminiscent of people who have the Sun as their Atmakaraka. For example, the Sun Atmakaraka native Katharine Hepburn was an old Hollywood actress who many have described as independent, headstrong, assertive, outspoken and blunt. She was also known to perform well in screwball comedies where she usually played characters who can be described as independent women who could find their way out of any problem they encountered. She was known for wearing pantsuits in an era where that was uncommon for women. She was also a smart businesswoman frequently buying and selling the rights for movies only if she could star in them, thus earning her money and boosting her career with each project she got her hands on.
Another famous celebrity with a Sun Atmakaraka is Nick Jonas. I don’t know the ages of everyone who may see this post but I am speaking for my age group (people born from 1992-2002) when I say that most of us who were fans of The Jonas Brothers had a crush on Nick. Nick was funny, blunt and cool. He never seemed to try too hard to be cool and this made him super attractive to the majority of The Jonas Brothers’ fan base. My url is actually inspired by the show Scream Queens (2015) where he played the character Boone and really showed off his comedic timing.
In the video attached you can see another example of how Nick--someone with prominent Solar energy-- carries himself in a room full of strangers:
youtube
Those with a Sun darakaraka can have a more masculine spouse or a spouse that leans more towards things that are traditionally masculine. One could even have a partner that can be described as fatherly or dad-like in nature. Sun Darakaraka natives will have partners who are the star in the relationship. They may become known as the other half of their significant other by outsiders and even by people around them. This is fine with these natives because when the Sun is the Darakaraka – aka the lowest degree planet– then this planet is weaker than the other energies in the chart thus the native may have either no desire for all the attention their significant other seems to handle easily or they may have a fear of it all together.
People with the Sun as the Darakaraka could have partners with the following physical features:
Strong jaw, angular facial features – not gaunt like Saturn just sharper, physically fit appearance or just takes care of their body, broad forehead, skin and/or hair that tends to be dry, expressive eyes
People with this placement can also attract stubborn, dominating, and competitive partners if this placement is not well placed in the birthchart. For example, if it is conjunct Rahu or Ketu these negative traits may be more likely to appear.
If you have any comments, questions, or corrections let me know.

these are general placements and don't guarantee anything on their own. if you want to be a shitty person, then even mahabhagya yogas or mahapurusha yogas will yield negative results and bring bad luck and accompany a massive fall from fame.
mars / saturn in the 3rd house + house lord present in another house (not mandatory, but makes it better)
both mars and saturn are naturally malefic planets and naturally, harm the house they are sitting in. when these planets sit in the upchaya houses (3,6,11), then their immense malefic energy is converted into courage, valor, and strength. it is best when these planetss sit in the 3rd house, however. 3rd house is the house of initiation. having mars in this house increases the quality of leadership in the native. it makes them especially brave and gives them the opportunity to master the negative side of their mars and make it even more auspicious. even having a maraka mars is good in this house because it will repeatedly put you in positions where you are made to realize and accept your negative qualities, and also rewarded for mastering them. saturn in 3rd house disciplines the fluttery, airy nature associated with this house. of course, curiosity is still pretty much the trademark of any 3rd house placement, but saturn here disciplines one's efforts towards learning in younger years and taking initiative when older. in particular, it bestows the power of impressive speech that is enough to make heads turn.
benefic planets in the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 9th, 11th / laxmi houses or laxmi yoga
in the horoscope, if the 1st lord, 2nd lord, and 11th lord are situated in self-owned sign, then the person will be rich. if the mutual zodiac sign exchange of the 2nd and 11th lord is happening or 11th lord is in 11th house, then one attains lakshmi. if the lagnesh is located in 2nd house and 2nd lord is in the 11th house or 11th lord in the second house of the horoscope, then lakshmi yoga is formed. in the horoscope, if the moon is located in an auspicious zodiac along with venus but not in the sixth house then good wealth is attained. this is really a very lucky placement imo. goddess lakshmi personally gives her blessings to these people, and for hindus, it is highly recommended to pray to goddess lakshmi with a genuine, clear heart and revere her as a mother. however, do be cautious that you also pray to shri vishnu because goddess lakshmi rides an owl, and owls on their own bring darkness. when goddess lakshmi comes into ones life with shri vishnu, they come on the king of the birds, garuda and spread light and divinity into one's life.
the mahapurusha yogas
having any of the mahapurusha yogas is literally a lottery ticket placement lmao. the planet forming the yoga immediately becomes one of the dominant planets of your personality and it is especially pronounced if the yoga is formed in the 1st-7th house axis. for ex. i have hamsa yoga in 7th house and a mars ak; i also have a younger brother. in his chart's 11th house, he has jupiter and mars. hence, despite having no jupiter dominance otherwise, jupiter becomes one of my dominant planets. i also have pronounced physical features that are associated with a hamsa yoga because jupiter is aspecting the ascendant and hence heavily influences my looks.
i. hamsa yoga — jupiter
when jupiter in cancer / pisces / sagittarius is present in any of the kendra houses. preferably but not mandatorily, without conjunctions with any other planet and not retrograde.
to quote the brihat parashara hora shastra:
the native with hamsa (swan, in hindi) yoga has a virtuous personality and is learned in the vedas. the hamsa native has voice like a swan, has a handsome appearance and well developed nose. they are a king with phlegmatic temperament, honey like tawny coloured eyes, red, coloured nails, sharp intelligence, sturdy cheeks, round, forehead and beautiful feet. they have marks of matsya (fish), ankush (the iron hook with which elephants are driven), dhanusha (bow), shankh (conch), kamal (lotus) in their hands and feet. they are very passionate and their lust remains unfulfilled. they are fond of swimming and playing games in watery places. they enjoy life fully and live as affluent, influential people and attain the pleasure of proper burial / cremation of their body after their death. they are most likely to own fertile lands near river beds, like near the ganga and yamuna.
one highlightable feature here is that these people have very beautifully formed feet; starting narrow and turning slightly broad by the tips with inwardly shaped toes that are often long and with shiny, clean pinkish nails. their feet are naturally warm but have a tendency quickly becoming cold and have light pink soles. such feet are highly auspicious and regardless of any yoga, are indicative of a good jupiter.
ii. malavya yoga — venus
when venus in taurus / libra / pisces is present in any of the kendra houses. preferably but not mandatorily, without conjunctions with any other planet and not retrograde, again, preferably.
to quote the brihat parashara hora shastra:
the malavya native has beautiful lips and a slender waist. they are lustrous like the moon and have fragrance in their body. they are of ordinary red complexion, have a medium stature and clean and beautiful teeth. their voice is like that of an elephant and their arms are long enough to reach upto his knees. they live happily for as owner of lands such as sindhu and malwa and then leaves for the heavenly abode.
iii. ruchaka yoga — mars
when mars in aries / scorpio/ capricorn is present in any of the kendra houses. preferably but not mandatorily, without conjunctions with any other planet and not retrograde, again, preferably.
to quote the brihat parashara hora shastra:
the ruchaka native possesses a long face, he is very enthusiastic, has spotless lustre, is powerful, has attractive brows, black hair and is fond of all things. they love to fight wars, are victorious over enemies, are discriminative, are protector of thieves and has cruel temperament and slender thighs. they are a devotee of brahmins, have marks of veena (musical instrument of goddess saraswati), dhanusha (bow), pasha(pāśa, often translated as "noose" or "lasso", is a supernatural weapon depicted in hindu iconography. hindu deities such as ganesha, yama, shyamala devi and varuna are depicted with the pasha in their hands.) and vrasha (unsure what this means, typically refers to a division of earth separated by mountain ranges but it doesn't make sense here; if anyone knows, please let me know as well) signs in their hands along with chakra rekha / line. they are well versed in occult sciences. they are tall, with a thin, slender waist and attractive physique.
these natives live an averagely long life and are most likely to be owner of lands of hilly regions or with red soils.
iv. bhadra yoga — mercury
when mercury in gemini / virgo is present in any of the kendra houses. preferably but not mandatorily, without conjunctions with any other planet and not retrograde, again, preferably.
to quote the brihat parashara hora shastra:
the bhadra native is splendorous like a lion, has very developed chest (or chest with well developed muscles), has the gait of an elephant, has long and thick arms, is learned in all respects. they are well versed in yoga performance, are of satwaguna qualities and have beautiful feet and a beautifully formed forehead. they are fond of luxuries and comforts and have marks of sankha (conch), chakra, gada, arrow, elephant, dhwaja (flag) and hala (plough) in their hands and feet. they are well versed in shastras, have black and curly hair, possess independent nature, and are a protector of their family. their friends share in the enjoyment of their wealth. they live happily with their wife and children and as the owners of Madhya Desha and enjoy a long life.
v. sasa yoga — saturn
when saturn in capricorn / aquarius / libra is present in any of the kendra houses. preferably but not mandatorily, without conjunctions with any other planet and not retrograde, again, preferably.
to quote the brihat parashara hora shastra:
the sasa native has small sized teeth and face but their body is not small. they are valorous. they have a slender waist and beautiful thighs. they are wise and enjoy wandering in forests and mountains. they are well versed in the loopholes (weaknesses) of the enemy. they are lively, virile and fond of women. they usurp other people’s wealth. they have marks of mala (garland), mridanga (musical instruments) and weapons in their hands and feet. they live averagely long lives and most often attain the higher lokas after death. in terms of land, there is no specification; they rule over lands that they desire.
sasa yoga gives enhanced results if venus is present with libra saturn, or is in good dignity, overall.
no malefics in the 2nd-8th house axis / 4th-10th house axis + benefic moon
this is pretty much a placement that indicates having a balanced and peaceful mental health. this is especially pronounced if only benefics are present in these axes or if they are entirely empty. it gives a good, stable childhood and responsible guardians / parents. it's not as flattering as many of the other placements here, but this is a favourable placement for your mental health. sudden death, spontaneity and sudden loss of wealth are prevented through this. of course, a lot of exceptions are applicable here, too. like rahu-ketu axis in the 1st-7th house or being born under a waning moon / new moon period which makes the moon a malefic and destroys inner peace. seriously though, having a weak moon is a curse because it hinders passion, creativity, self expression, focus and intelligence.
other forms of the mahapurusha yogas that are particularly lucky but i needn't elaborate:
venus / jupiter in 7th house in own sign / exalted sign: good for relationships and business exalted mars in 10th house: good for career and helps in cultivating drive. exalted jupiter in 1st house: a very likeable, pleasant, virtuous and amazing personality.
exalted /favourable ketu
a favourable ketu is less karmic baggage and favours the native's pursuit towards occult science. it also makes the native question society and the way it works; an exalted ketu puts its energy into attracting knowledge and spiritual elements into one's life. this for sure indicates a person with high moral values and good samskaar / 'behaviour', for lack of a better english equivalent. once again, this is not as flattering as the others, but it reduces the obstacles to be faced in life. a good ketu attracts peace into native's life.
mahabhagya 'highly fortunate' yoga
it is pretty rare since quite a few demands are to be met, but if you have it in your chart, then it means that you have collected a lot of good karma in your previous lives and will be blessed with all sorts of luxuries and guidance from divine energies in this life. for male natives, sun, moon and lagna must occupy odd signs and should be strong during the daytime. for female it should be vice versa to get the full power of this yoga. this yoga is applicable only when the sun, moon and lagna are not affected by malefics or are not malefics themselves. note that amavasya moon and waning moon are malefics. note that in vedic culture, day and night are defined via the sunrise and sunset time; so make sure that for male natives, you were born after sunrise, and for female natives, you were born after sunset and before next day's sunrise. the native is born into a good and affluent family and enjoys all sorts of comforts in their childhood. this yoga is literally all sunshine and daisies, it has no bad aspect. if you have it, then you will be blessed with all sorts of luxuries in life. the best things about it is that it blesses you with well-wishers in life so that you never go astray your life path. the divine is with you, and all pursuits become successful.

Sun Darakaraka: The Powerful Spouse
Jennie Kim's darakaraka sun lies in uttara ashadha (capricorn). (Her birth time is unknown, but most likely the sun is her DK which is at 1°26’.)
Sun DK can infer a couple things about the spouse/partner:
They will most likely be in a very high and respectable position in their career field.
Commands attention when they enter a room; could be very popular and naturally shines in whatever they choose to do in life.
Masculine qualities: They are go getters and actively pursue their ambitions.
On the negative side: Could be egotistical and stubborn; self-centered.
If we take a look at Jennie's dating history (2 of which are rumors but I will include them anyways), we can come to understand that her past relationships definitely involved people with the qualities listed above. She attracts/is attracted to the men in kpop which we can say come from internationally famous groups. Even within their respective groups, these men are recognized on a large scale.
Uttara ashadha as DK nakshatra:
The "latter invincible one" is known to conquer hardships of any scale they come across. These people are able to persevere despite pressure, and come out as victorious.
Mongoose yoni: Sometimes these people can face compatibility issues with partners since there is no yoni consort.
They come across as very charming and suave. Many people are often attracted to the natural energies these people emit, seemingly without effort. (UA's lord is the sun)
EXO's Kai (Jennie's only confirmed relationship) has uttara ashadha sun, mercury and venus.

If you have a chance, could you talk a little about Mars as DK planet please? Thanks in advance :)
Hi there!
Darakaraka (DK) as mentioned in other posts is usually the pointer towards the aspects within ourselves that we need to learn or strengthen within this lifetime, and we're often able to do so through attracting not just partners but individuals who naturally carry this energy. Due to this, DK is commonly used to determine our spouse or potential romantic partners.
In your case, Mars as DK will have you attracting partners that are very strong willed, energetic, action oriented, and warrior/soldier-like. They could also be very competitive, combative, and conflictive as well. It's likely that your initial connection with romantic partners might start out as a hate to love dynamic or by them irking you a bit, and developing friction that turns into attraction.
From a physical standpoint, the might be into sports or naturally look fit. They could easily get flushed or their anger becomes noticeable through their appearance, like a vein popping, etc. They might also have dark features and have short to medium height.
They could either have a very healthy or unhealthy masculine side depending if your DK is receiving malefic (Saturn or Rahu) influence. Be mindful of connections not turning abusive in any way. You're meant to learn how to stand your ground and become comfortable with conflict overall.

Darakaraka - Your Spouse
Masterlist - YouTube (subliminals)
In Vedic Astrology, Darakaraka is a term that represents your future spouse or partner. It is found by looking at the planet with the lowest degree in your birth chart. This special planet gives insight into the personality and qualities of your significant other and the nature of your relationship. Essentially, Darakaraka helps you understand more about who you might end up with and what your marriage could be like.
HOW TO FIND IT?
Darakaraka is found by looking at the planet with the lowest degree in your birth chart. The planets that can be your Darakaraka are: The Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn. Rahu and Ketu are NOT considered.
Step 1: Convert the birth chart to Vedic/Sidereal.
Step 2: Find the planet with the lowest degree
Now that we have converted the birth chart to the sidereal system, we can identify the planet with the lowest degree. Remember, only the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are involved. In the birth chart above, the planet with the lowest degree is Venus.
NOW THAT YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR DARAKARAKA, LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT THE MEANING!
☉︎ - Sun as Darakaraka
When the Sun is your Darakaraka, it indicates that your future spouse will embody qualities of confidence, leadership, and a strong sense of identity.
