NEW SONG “24 HOURS” AVAILABLE FOR STREAMING EVERYWHERE CLICK HERE to listen on Spotify now! Written by Kelsey Reckling Guitar/Vocals - Kelsey Reckling Drums - Max Kuehn Bass - Danny Bengston Guitar solo - Erik Jimenez
This song was written and recorded during quarantine for COVID-19. Kelsey recorded the whole song at her house, then sent the song and tempo to Max, who recorded drums for it at his house. Danny then added bass at his house, and Erik added the guitar solo at his. It was interesting to record a song this way, passing it around and piecing it together, but the end result turned out exactly as desired.

Premier Guitar – Rig Rundown - Together Pangea
Premier Guitar – Rig Rundown – Together Pangea
In a gritty, sticky-floored club called The End in midtown Nashville, PG hung with William Keegan, Danny Bengston, and Roland Cosio of together PANGEA as they van their way across America, bringing brash rock to the masses. The band proves that rigs cobbled together through Craigslist can take you anywhere. William Keegan is an optimist. He intrepidly embarks on international tours with no…

Together PANGEA rocks the El Rey
Together PANGEA, an L.A. native rock –quartet took center stage the El Rey theater this past Friday September 15th in what was their largest headlining show in their hometown or maybe even ever.
The Goldenvoice sponsored show featured opening acts by Daddy Issues, a grunge pop trio out Tennessee that’s been on the scene since 2013 with popular tracks like “Ugly When I Cry” and “Creepy Girl” both of which were played to a psyched audience.
Along with Daddy Issues, PANGEA’s nationwide tour also includes Tall Juan on the bill, an Argentinian born acoustic punk-ish guitarist whose improvisational skills could make Weird Al jealous. For example her brought up a random concertgoer, no older than 18 and together they had a jam sesh right there on stage in front of hundreds of people.
The third openers who aren’t officially part of the tour but were included to round out the show were The Side Eyes, L.A./O.C. natives who’ve cultivated a huge following the short time since they’ve exploded on the scene only a few years ago. Their new LP “So Sick” dropped at the end of August and features all of their hits including “Cat Call” and “Don’t Talk To Me” the later of which is actually of cover of a song written by the lead singer’s own mom.
When asked about the whole experience of playing such a large and well-known venue like the El Rey with such a huge crowd in attendance The Side Eyes’ lead singer Astrid McDonald described it as, “unreal. Almost like we’re here by mistake. It’s mind-blowing.”
Together PANGEA eventually took to the stage, with much fanfare, and started off their set with “Alive” the opening track to their 2014 album “Badillac” and went on to play a set that lasted well over an hour that also featured songs from their 2015 EP “The Phage” like “I Looked In Too” which was used on a T-Mobile commercial early last year. The band also played tracks from their formative years before they changed their name, tracks only uber-fans would recognize like “Los Angeles” among others.
The band did have to take a pause as a young girl in the front of the audience required medical attention but after the guys on stage brought her some water and the medics did their job they jumped right back into it with their classic and arguably most popular track “Too Drunk to Come.”
They also played many new songs off their recently released “Bulls and Roosters” which dropped August 25th and features a much more mature sound that tones down the lo-fi angst prominently heard in their earlier work and is mostly reminiscent to their work on “The Phage” having a well crafted meticulous sound probably with hopes of reaching a wider audience.
New tracks played included “The Cold” “Kenmore Ave.” and a track in which bassist Danny Bengston took over vocals from lead singer William Keegan which also happened to be the final on their new album, a power ballad called “Alison” which pretty much everyone in the audience feeling some type of way.
Given the fact that the venue was nearly filled to capacity and the company who sponsored the show, Goldenvoice, is also the same company that throws the annual  Coachella Music and Arts Festival so it’s very likely we’ll be seeing a lot more of Together PANGEA in the near future.
