tornadoes aren't more important than you
tyler owens (twisters) x reader
words: 1.5k
warnings: pregnant!reader, married!reader, established relationship
“be careful, yeah?” you place your hands on tylers cheeks, tilting his head down to look you in the eye.
“i wish you could come with me.” tyler sighs, leaning in and pressing his forehead against yours, his cowboy hat tipping upwards and off his head, clattering onto the hardwood.
“i know.” you miss it. the excitement, the fear, the anticipation of storm chasing. “but i don't think the baby would like me getting whipped around.”
tyler chuckles and presses his hands to your stomach, fully showing now that you've reached six months.
“im gonna be safe and im gonna be back home to you real soon.” tyler kisses you deeply, arms wrapping around your waist to pull you in close.
“uh, not to interrupt-”
“you are interrupting, boone.” tyler looks up at him as he stands in the open doorway, trucks filling the driveway.
“we were just finishing saying goodbye.” you raise to your tiptoes and give tyler one more peck.
“i love you.” you whisper against your husbands lips.
“i love you, baby.”
“ew.” boones nose scrunches up, still somehow not used to seeing you kiss despite being married for a year now.
“you stay safe too boone.” you point at him, watching as they head out the door and pile in the trucks.
you wave goodbye to everyone, tyler getting in last as he tips his hat he grabbed off the floor towards you, a silent promise to come back home.
you sigh as you watch them pull away, hand stroking over your belly as the trucks disappear in a cloud of dirt. “it's okay.” you whisper to the baby, but it's mostly for yourself. “daddy will be back.”
--
“hey.” you answer the phone with a smile on your face. “i watched the live stream.”
“pretty fucking cool huh?”
“pretty cool that you let boone drive the rig.” you chuckle, knowing tyler did that specifically for you, to show you that he can let others take the lead, let them be the one to drive into the tornado.
“how's my baby doing?” tyler asks, ignoring your teasing.
“which one?” you giggle, laying a hand on your stomach. “im good, baby is kicking a lot though.”
“put me on speaker.” tyler requests. you roll your eyes but still turn the volume up and hold the speaker up to your belly.
“it's daddy.” tylers voice is half strict and half high baby voice. “you better stop giving your mama grief when im not there to help her. behave for just a bit longer, buddy.”
“i hope he listens to you.” you shake your head, bringing the phone back up. “how's the storms looking for tomorrow?”
“tracking a couple cells.” tyler confirms. “im coming home friday no matter what they look like over the weekend.”
“mhm, sure.” you roll your eyes, although you don't doubt it. now that you're pregnant, tyler is even more protective over you. he knows you can handle anything, but that doesn't mean he's going to force you to do it all on your own.
“i will. already miss that pretty face baby.” his country twang is music to your ears as you hum out.
“i miss you too. miss kissing your lips.”
“you're killing me, sugar.” tyler groans. you hear dani shouting something in the background.
“i-”
“you gotta go. i know. love you.”
“love you more, darling.”
--
you have tylers livestream on in the background as you clean the house, feeling the urge to nest and get everything prepared before you're too pregnant to do anything, and tyler certainly wouldn't let you lift a finger when hes home.
you always dreamt of a beautiful old farmhouse like this all your life, but before you could move in tyler insisted on building a proper storm shelter to keep you safe.
you unpack some of the boxes of things you bought for the baby's room, sticking to yellows and oranges to keep everything brightly colored and cohesive, in contrast to the darkening sky.
you're not right in the path of tornados, but they have been known to swing up and hit the closest town every couple years.
you know the cloudy sky is just a result of all the activity further to the west where your husband currently is.
you look back to your phone, watching for a moment as his handsome face turns to look out the window. you can see the reflection of the twister in his eyes, a mix of awe struck and fear that any man within his right mind would feel.
“god-” you look up to the ceiling. you're not the biggest believer, but growing up in the south has you always reverting to whispering a prayer. “keep my husband safe.”
--
you let out a yawn as you adjust, not knowing for sure the sound that woke you up until you hear it again, your cellphone vibrating on the nightstand.
“hello?” your voice is groggy as you answer. you didn't bother to look at the contact name, there's only one person who would be calling you at this hour. “tyler?”
“baby, get to the storm shelter right now.”
“what?” the words have you instantly awake, hopping to your feet and looking out the window of your second story bedroom. “it looks fine.”
“im- just trust me! are you going?” you can hear the nerves in tyler's voice as well as the roaring of his truck no doubt speeding down the road.
“yes.” you confirm, grabbing one of tylers sweatshirts and slipping it over your head before finding a pair of shoes. “im going down the stairs right now.”
the second you step outside, you can feel the shift in the air.
“im tracking it on the data. we reported it but they said it's not on their maps as if our equipment isn't ten years newer.”
you listen to tylers rant as you round the house to pull open the storm shelter doors. it's not a glamorous area, small and tight but completely concrete and filled with a couple boxes of supplies.
“im in the shelter, ty.” you reassure him as you close the latch. “im safe. the babys safe.”
“it's building.” tyler says, no doubt looking at the radar or getting reports fed to him from boone. “im coming home to you, ill be there in two hours. fuck it, make it an hour and a half.”
“it's wednesday.” you state, although its just after midnight so technically thursday. “you said you weren't coming home until friday.”
“that was before a torando was gonna hit you. baby, i don't want you to go through this alone when you're pregnant.”
“ill be fine.” you reassure tyler. “but if you want to come back and make sure, you're more than welcome. like i said, i miss your lips.”
“gonna give you lots of kisses to make up for being gone.”
“i won't argue with that.” your phone beeps and you pull it away from your ear to realize you're losing service. “i think we are going to disconnect soon.”
“stay on as long as you possibly can.”
you try, but your phone beeps again and the call drops out.
sitting alone in the darkness heightens your other senses, feeling the cold air sneaking in through every available crack as your ears pick up the sound of the wind roaring.
you close your eyes and press your hands against your stomach, softly singing a nursery rhyme that your mother sung to you when you were a baby, your eyes sliding closed as you fall back asleep.
--
you're startled awake suddenly as the door rips open, only for tyler to quickly enter.
“is it over?” you ask, standing up and wobbling slightly. tyler grabs your hips, holding you up and looking at you up and down, his eyes examining you. you watch the stress and fear and anxiety melt away to be replaced with softness and love.
“it's over.” he confirms, tugging you in close.
“the house?”
“a busted window and a downed tree blocking the driveway. that's all.” tyler presses his nose into your hair, inhaling the scent.
“wasn't bad then.” you wrap your arms around his waist, enjoying the warm embrace.
“no, but i got so fucking scared knowing you were here all alone.” tyler pulls away only to help you up the stairs, hating seeing you confined to the shelter even if it is to keep you safe.
“i just… i can't do this while you're pregnant. i can't leave you here, or anywhere, alone knowing something could happen to you.”
tyler pulls his phone out of his pocket and navigates to his youtube channel, going live and waiting for a couple users to join.
he holds the camera up so he can see himself and you, his arm coming to wrap around your shoulders.
“as you folks know, my lovely wife here is pregnant with our first child. as much as i love tornado wrangling, i love my girl more. for the next six months im going to be taking a step back, but don't unsubscribe, boone is taking over to keep the excitement coming.”
he doesn't even say goodbye, simply ending the livestream, knowing one of his followers surely recorded it to spread the news around.
“ty, you didn't have to do that.”
“yes, i did.” tyler bends down to lift you up, carrying you across the threshold of your house just like he did the day you got married. “im gonna be with you throughout everything. tornados aren't more important than you.”

Nothing Like Honey
Tyler Owens x reader
warnings - 18+, smut, aphrodisiac, oral (f receiving), fingering, multiple orgasms, squirting, penetration, ig premature orgasm?, some swearing
word count - 4126 (idk how lol)
a/n - this is my first Kinktober as a writer, and I was gonna skip it bc of my schoolwork, but there's no way I'm gonna miss out. I haven't posted in a month and college is taking all of my energy with all the writing i'm doing. also disclaimer: I've never tried honey packets so idk if they actually work lol. thx for reading and I hope you enjoy :)
“You can’t say no without even seeing what it is first,” Boone smiles.
You, Boone, and Tyler were sitting in a booth at the bar, celebrating after a good day of chasing. Dani and Lily were off somewhere beating Dexter in darts. The bar is noisy and pretty crowded for somewhere so rural, but you got lucky and found a quiet booth in the corner.
“With you, yeah I can,” Tyler laughs, before taking a sip from the beer bottle and placing it back down.
“Just look at what it is before you make a decision,” Boone rolls his eyes. He reaches into his pocket to retrieve two small packets and places them on the table.
Your eyes widen. “Is that what I think it is?” you ask, leaning forward to get a better look.
“It sure is,” Boone nods. He smirks, folding his arms against his chest and leaning back into the booth.
Tyler looks between the two of you, confused, before asking, “Okay, what am I missing here?”
You look up at Tyler. “They’re uh…,” you begin, but trail off. You then look over at Boone, silently telling him to answer for you.
“They’re horny packets,” Boone smiles proudly.
“Honey packets,” you correct him, sending him a playful glare.
Boone waves you off. “Same thing.”
Tyler reaches the hand that wasn’t resting on the booth behind you to grab one of the packets. “And what exactly do these honey packets do?” Tyler questions, his eyebrows furrowed as he turns the packet over in his hand.
“Like I said, they make you horny. They’re like an aphrodisiac so they’re supposed to take everything to the next level. If you know what I mean,” Boone wiggles his eyebrows.
“Oh, come on,” Tyler looks at him in disgust, but you just laugh. If you hadn’t known Boone for almost as long as Tyler, you’d be disgusted too, but you’re used to his antics.
“What, man? I’m just keeping it real,” Boone raises his hands in surrender.
“And do they actually work?” you ask.
“Believe me, they work,” Boone gives you a look. You let out another laugh, and this time Boone joins you.
“What do we do with it?” Tyler asks, still eyeing the packet.
“Just take the packet and wait for everything to kick in,” Boone says, leaning back with his arms crossed over his chest.
Tyler squints. “Where the hell do you get these kinds of things from?” asks Tyler, not too surprised since Boone is always showing him something new.
“A magician never reveals his secret,” Boone playfully shrugs, causing Tyler to kick him under the table.
“Ow!” Boone leans down to rub his shin.
“You’ll be okay,” Tyler tells him, a small smile forming on his lips.
“Do you guys want these or not? There’s no need to harass me,” Boone looks between you and Tyler. You look up at Tyler, and he looks back at you with his eyebrows raised.
“Your choice,” Tyler shrugs.
You contemplate for a moment, before nodding and looking over at Boone. “We’ll do it.”
“Alright!” Boone claps his hand.
Ten minutes later, the packets are in your system, and you and Tyler decide to call it a night. Tyler heads to the bar to pay his tab and you follow behind him. You normally don’t like to hover, but the bartender has been making eyes at him all night.
“Gone so soon?” the bartender asks with a tempting smile and a tilt of her head, a cowboy hat placed on top.
“Yes, ma’am,” Tyler nods, giving her a kind smile as he hands her his card. You watch her return the smile before heading off to close his tab.
When Tyler turns his head to look at you, you give him a smile. Tyler knows it’s a fake one which is why he sends you a smirk before wrapping his arm around your shoulders.
“Well, I sure do hope I see you back in here soon,” the bartender says as she comes back to hand him his card and receipt, leaning against the counter to show off her breasts in the process. You turn your head so she doesn’t see you roll your eyes. This also makes you miss her eyeing Tyler’s arm around you.
Tyler gives her a quick thank you before walking off with you under his arm. You run into Lily right in front of the entrance who looks disappointed when she sees you and Tyler leaving.
“Already?” Lily pouts. “You’re really going to leave me here with the others?”
“It’s nothing you can’t handle,” you laugh at her reaction, quickly leaning in to give her a hug.
“Tell the others we said goodnight, will you,” Tyler tells her. She nods before telling you and Tyler goodnight and walking away.
“Where are you two lovebirds going?” you hear Boone call from behind you, as you and Tyler walk to his truck.
“It’s late, Boone,” Tyler calls back, not turning to look back at him.
“Is that the only reason?” you hear Boone’s voice coming closer as Tyler opens his passenger door for you to enter. You can hear the suggestiveness in his tone.
“Goodnight, Boone,” Tyler rolls his eyes, as he watches you get in.
“Alright, alright, you don’t have to tell me about your private life,” Boone says, a smile evident in his voice.
You stick your head back out to see Boone laughing. You let out a giggle as you call out, “Goodnight!”
Tyler playfully shoves your head back into the truck, before closing the door and walking around to the drivers side.
“Don’t make me run you over,” you hear Tyler tell Boone, before he opens the door and climbs in beside you. Boone sends you a wave, before heading back inside the bar while Tyler pulls out of the parking lot.
“Was that jealousy I saw back there?” Tyler asks you as he starts the drive back home.
“What?” you innocently ask as you look out the window at the land zooming by, the sun almost completely set.
“Oh, okay you want me to say it,” he teases, but you don’t turn your head.
“Still don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Well then, you wouldn’t mind if I turned this truck around and reopened my tab with that flirty bartender then would you?”
That makes you turn your head. “I dare you, Owens.”
“So you do know what I’m talking about,” Tyler quickly glances over at you with his eyebrows raised and a playful smile on your lips, before turning his attention back to the road. He has one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the center console, your favorite position. Although, it seems even more attractive at the moment for some reason.
There’s no way those packets actually work.
“Just keep driving,” you mumble, crossing your arms and looking away again in the process.
Tyler chuckles as he moves the hand on the center console onto your thigh, giving it a small squeeze. You feel warmth spread through your bottom half at the action.
Yeah, there’s no way.
“No need to get embarrassed, sweetheart. You know I love when you act like that.”
Little did you know, Tyler was feeling odd too.
When Tyler pulls in front of the house, you wait for him to open your door as always. You begin making your way to the front door, but Tyler grabs your hand and pulls you back, causing your bag to collide with the truck door. Tyler takes a step closer to you, pressing his body against yours.
“What, no thank you?” he asks, raising a playful eyebrow.
“Like you deserve it,” you joke and make a move to pull away from him, but he doesn’t let you budge.
“Is that so?” he questions as he nudges his face into your neck. You let out a squeal as you begin feeling his fingers dig into your sides.
“Don’t you dare tickle me,” you laugh as you try to move his hands away from you.
“Why not?” he asks, his breath tickles your neck as he laughs. His fingers begin to move again.
“Tyler!” you jump. Tyler laughs again.
You place your hands onto his chest and somehow manage to pry yourself out of his hands. “Behave yourself,” you laugh.
“Sorry, darling, I wish I could,” Tyler tells as he pulls you away and gives you a look.
“What do you mean?” you ask. Tyler doesn’t answer, he just quickly looks down before looking back at you, silently telling you.
“Really?” you raise your eyebrows.
“What, you’re telling me you don’t feel anything?” he asks.
Now it’s your turn to be silent. You feel your face heat up as you avoid his gaze and look past him. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you shrug, folding your arms across your chest. Tyler moves his head into your line of sight, giving you a look that says he knows you’re full of shit. “Okay, fine. I do. I just didn’t expect it to…y’know…actually work.”
“Neither did I, but look at us now,” Tyler says.
“What do you mean ‘us’?” you furrow your eyebrows, looking down at the bulge in his pants before looking back into his eyes. You let out a small laugh. “Seems like you have a bigger problem than me pal. No pun intended of course.”
“Ha ha, you’re so funny,” Tyler playfully rolls his eyes before tightening his grip on you. “I’m not sure why you’re laughing, though, you’re the one that’s going to help me fix this.”
“No self control, huh?” you tease, and Tyler glares down at you. “Relax, it’ll wear off soon.”
It did not wear off anytime soon.
Tyler followed you around like a lost puppy as you moved about the house. Inside the bedroom right when you were just feeling like you could control the overwhelming feeling in your lower half, Tyler came up behind you in the bathroom.
His eyes meet yours as he wraps his arms around you and presses his front against your back, trapping you between him and the bathroom sink. The bulge in his jeans pressed against your backside, making you throb.
“How about we just cut to the chase and get this over with, huh?” Tyler whispers into your ear, his eyes never leaving yours. You can’t help but lean into his touch and subconsciously tilt your head to give him more access to your neck.
“We have to get up early in the morning. We’re meeting with everyone to discuss the potential storms, remember?” you try to remind him.
“They can just fill us in after,” Tyler mumbles as he begins to place soft kisses on your favorite area on your neck, right below your ear.
He notices the goosebumps forming on your arms as his fingers run up and down them. You feel the small smirk forming on his lips as he continues his trail of kisses on your neck. You allow your eyes to close for a moment, enjoying the sensations, before opening them and meeting his eyes through the mirror once again.
“It’s not the same, and you know it,” you tell him, your resolve quickly diminishing.
“Come on, sweetheart. You want this just as much as I do,” says Tyler.
“I don’t know,” you pretend to contemplate, “I think I’ll be okay.”
Tyler doesn’t respond. Instead, he raises a daring eyebrow at you, not believing you for a second. He knows you like the back of his hand. You just give him an innocent smile in return.
You then begin to feel Tyler’s hands abandon your arms and land on your waist, one of them traveling further south. His fingers make their way to the waistband of the jeans you have yet to take off. Your smile fathers and your breath hitches at the ticklish feeling. His movements are purposely slow, wanting you to crack as soon as possible.
Tyler lifts his head from your neck, so he gets a good look at your face when he asks:
“So you’re saying if I move my hand a little further down, I won’t feel your wetness soaking those pretty little panties of yours?” Tyler questions. His bold wording catches you off guard, making you shift slightly in his hold, your throat starting to feel dry. “What? Nothing to say?”
“Why don’t you find out?” you quip, somehow finding your voice again.
Tyler gives you a knowing smile before swiftly unbuttoning your jeans and moving his hand inside, his other hand still firm on your waist. You look down and watch as he wastes no time and dips his hand into your panties, quickly bumping into your clit, making you jump.
Tyler breathes out a laugh before continuing and easily finding the wetness he already knew was there. He runs a finger through your sticky folds, his hand trapped between your ruined panties and your pussy.
Your hands instinctively grab onto his forearms. A small moan escapes your lips as you try to keep your hips from bucking into his hand.
“Well, what do we have here?” Tyler smirks. “Just as I thought, she’s eager for me.”
You hate the fact that you love when Tyler refers to your pussy as a she.
Tyler moves his finger back up to your clit, rubbing gentle circles into the bud. You both know it’s not enough to get you off, but it’s enough to turn you on more – and it does. You let your head fall against his chest as your hands tighten on his arms. Tyler moves his head back into your neck, hovering his lips right over your ear.
“All you had to do was say something, baby. Y’know I always take care of you,” he whispers into your ear, his tone condescending.
He suddenly adds a bit more pressure to clit, causing your hips to involuntarily buck into his hand. You can feel your legs beginning to shake, the honey packet causing you to be sensitive. You bite your lip to keep the sounds rising in your throat at bay. His unoccupied hand leaves your hip and moves to your waist, keeping you against him.
“Don’t be like that, there’s no need to keep those pretty little noises away from me. All you have to do is admit that this is what you wanted this whole time and I’ll give you what you want.”
You send Tyler a glare through the mirror, causing him to chuckle, the rumble in his chest vibrating through your body. You really don’t want to give in that easily, even though your body is saying otherwise.
Tyler starts kissing behind your ear again. “You know you want to.”
Tyler removes some of the pressure on your clit, his movements turning gentle – which is the exact opposite of what you need right now.
“Fuck, okay. Fine,” you breathe out.
“Okay what?” Tyler smirks, pretending to be confused.
“Fuck you,” you tell him through gritted teeth.
Tyler’s voice drops an octave. “Oh, darling, I will. As soon as you tell me what I want to hear.”
Your body betrays you, allowing a shiver to run through you.
“This is what I wanted,” you mumble.
“Sorry, what was that?” Tyler asks.
“This is what I wanted!” you repeat louder this time.
“I don’t like the attitude in your voice, but I’ll let it slide,” Tyler tells you.
He pulls away and removes his hands from your panties, sticking the wet fingers into his mouth. You slightly frown at the loss of his touch, your body suddenly feeling cold.
“Let’s get started then,” he gives you his charming smile, which at the moment makes you want to slap him, before bending and lifting you into his arms. You let out a small yelp as your feet leave the ground.
He carries you into the bedroom and tosses you onto the bed. The two of you can’t seem to undress fast enough, tugging and tossing articles of clothing here and there. You’re pretty sure he tossed his shirt perfectly into the hamper in the far corner of the room, but at the moment you don’t care.
Tyler moves to hover his naked body over you, quickly attaching his lips to yours. It’s rough and needy, neither of you wanting to pull away for air. Both of you are panting. He shoves his tongue through your lips, haphazardly moving around your mouth.
You pull away just a tad to wrap your lips around his tongue, gently sucking. Tyler’s hardened cock twitches against your abdomen as he breathes out a moan. Your lips curve into a smile at the noise. His hips begin to grind against yours, allowing you to feel the precum dripping from his slit onto your abdomen.
Tyler pulls away and moves his lips to your collarbone. He begins a trail of kisses, going through the valley between your breasts, stopping to give each nipple some love, before continuing on his way. Your back arches into his touch and you feel yourself throb as heat blooms in your stomach.
He goes all the way down your body, pulling your legs down with him as he kneels in front of the bed, coming face to face with your center. He grunts as he gives his poor, leaking cock a few tugs.
“Y’know, we could’ve been doing this 20 minutes ago, but you wanted to play games,” Tyler tells you, his breath hitting your exposed pussy as he speaks.
You go to rebuttal, but words instantly leave your mouth as Tyler runs a finger through your dripping folds, then spreads your lips apart for better access. A whine leaves your lips instead as your hips buck towards his face. He gently blows air onto your sensitive pussy, causing you to involuntarily clench around nothing and your body to jerk. Tyler notices and smiles to himself at the sight, deciding to do it once more for the hell of it. Your body jerks again.
“Look who’s playing games now,” you point out, holding your body up with your elbows in order to get a good view of him. Your expression is mixed with frustration and desperation.
Tyler chuckles, his eyes never leaving your pussy. “Not for long.”
With that, he dives into you, dragging his tongue through your lips. He quickly dips the tip of his tongue inside of you before pulling back out and attaching his lips to your clit. Your fingers dig into the blanket beneath you, your mouth falling open in a gasp as his tongue flicks against the sensitive bud. Tyler’s grip on you tightens when he feels your hips buck into his face once again.
Your head tilts back in pleasure as he continues his movements. Feeling your arms about to give out, you let your back sink into the mattress and allow your eyes to close. He can’t help but grind his hips against the bed, needing something to alleviate the overwhelming pressure running through his cock.
Tyler pushes his face further into you as he feels his own orgasm quickly approaching. He moans into your pussy and continues to grind his hips against the bed. Your thighs tighten around his head and your legs tremble a little as you feel the vibrations from his body travel through yours.
He knows he’s not going to last long, but he doesn’t try to stop himself. His cum spurts out and onto the side of the bed, dripping onto the floor beneath him. His fingers tighten on your thighs as he finishes, his cock barely softening.
His climax remains unknown to you, too lost in the depths of pleasure. After a couple more minutes of your whining and your hips grinding into his face, he decides to give you what you want. He slides one of his hands down and pushes a finger into you all the way to the knuckle, meeting no resistance from your welcoming body.
“Fuck,” you breathe out, your back arching.
Tyler continues to thrust his finger into, feeling your slick coat his finger, making it even easier for him to move. You feel a slight stretch as he adds another finger to the mix, plunging his fingers deep inside of you. You reach a hand down and allow your fingers to tangle in his hair. Tyler hums out a moan when you give his scalp a small tug.
When Tyler notices your orgasm approaching, he quickens the pace of his fingers. The change of pace allows you to hear just how drenched you really are. The sound of your wet squelching echoes through your ears as he curls his fingers and finds your sweet spot.
“Oh god,” you whimper, your back going into a deep arch.
Tyler releases your clit from his lips and replaces them with the thumb from his unoccupied hand. His lips glisten from your arousal as he rubs tight circles into you in time with the rhythm of his fingers in your tight walls. He glances up at your face and smirks at the reaction he’s able to pull from you.
Tyler feels your walls beginning to clench repeatedly around his fingers, signaling your orgasm. His fingers speed up inside you even more, constantly hitting that spot that makes your toes curl.
You feel that final wave of intense pleasure run through you, your mouth opening in a silent moan as you come undone. His fingers don’t slow down, though, he continues the movement until he sees that clear liquid gush out of you. It soaks his fingers even more, dripping down his arm and some hits him in the chest.
“There you go,” Tyler mumbles, keeping his eyes on your gushing pussy.
You cry out as you feel yourself squirt, the liquid running your thighs and onto the blanket beneath you. When you notice him not letting up on his thrusts, you let out a squeal and try to pull away.
“Ty! Baby!” you wail, immediately feeling yourself being thrown into another orgasm. Tyler chuckles as he watches you squirm.
When that second orgasm arrives, it hits much harder than the first one, making your body clamp up as you feel yourself squirt once more. Tears begin to form in your waterline from the overstimulation.
“S-shit,” you stammer. Your voice is high pitched and much weaker than it was a few seconds ago.
Tyler smiles proudly at his work and decides to pull his fingers out. His cock jumps as he looks down at his body covered in your arousal.
You try to catch your breath as you slowly climb backwards towards the headboard, your thighs still twitching.
“What’s wrong, darling? Where are you going?” Tyler innocently asks as he climbs up onto the bed. His voice is deep and raspy as he speaks, the way it always gets at a time like this. He grabs you by your ankles and pulls you back down a couple of inches as he hovers over you.
“Y’know, I’m actually really glad Boone gave us those honey packets. What about you?” Tyler asks he situates himself between your thighs. He wraps his hand around his cock and begins to lightly stroke himself. He groans and tosses his head back for a second, a bit sensitive from his orgasm. He quickly returns his attention back to you.
Despite the two orgasms Tyler just ripped out of you, you feel yourself getting turned on again. You gulp as you watch the sight in front of you unfold, your mouth beginning to water.
Oh, no.
“Nothing to say?” he smirks and begins to run his cock through your sore folds.
You tremble as he moves against you, not being able to stop yourself from moving your hips along with his motions.
“Who knew they actually worked?” you try to laugh, but immediately get cut off by Tyler sliding into you. He moves to wrap his arms around you, holding you close and caging you in between him and the mattress.
Your mouth falls open and your eyes widen. Your lip quivers and your eyes flutter close at the stretch of him pushing until the hilt.
“Fuck,” Tyler rasps at the feeling of your warm walls contracting around him. He clenches his jaw as a chill runs through his body, needing to close his eyes to gather himself. “Oh, sweetheart, you don’t know how good you feel.”
All you can do is whimper in response. You open your eyes to meet him already looking back down at you. His lips have transformed back into the irritating smirk.
Looks like you’re going to be stuck here for a while, might as well get comfortable.

Y/n was Max Verstappen's girlfriend until a few months ago when they decided to end their relationship.
She and the other ex-WAGs were often seen together in the paddock during race weekends, emphasizing that they were and still are best friends.
Fans are now commenting on her latest post, suggesting that she dislikes the new WAGs just because she shared that she and the other exes were out having fun.

“It’s race weekend”
I was invited to attend the weekend in Monza.
It had been a while since I attended any races; it lost its appeal after Max and I broke up. We decided it was for the best, as my modeling career consumed all my time, just like his racing career did to him.
We no longer had time for each other, and it was driving us apart. So, the best decision for both of us was to take a break, which ultimately led to the end.
But here I was again, at a race, hoping everything would go well without any stress.
"Excuse me, Miss Y/L/N." I turned around to see someone from SKY Sports. "Could you give a brief interview?"
"Of course," I agreed, controlling to not roll my eyes as giving interviews was the last thing I wanted to do today.
"We saw your statement in your latest YouTube video regarding the comments on your posts. Do you have anything to declare?"
"As I said in the video, I'm not obligated to like anyone, even if that's what fans think. I don't personally know any of the girls, so the comments are unfounded, defamatory, and malicious," I said, looking into the camera. "I've always been friends with the other girls, and our friendship might have started here due to our ex-boyfriends working in the same field. But our friendship goes beyond that, so the fact that these so-called fans are bothered by something so trivial truly amazes me. Once again, I have nothing against anyone, so I ask you to stop trying to portray me as the villain just because you don't like me."
"Very well, thank you Y/n, for your words," I agreed and left.
I continued walking, stopped for a coffee, and on my way back, Daniel waved at me.
"Y/n, long time no see."
"Hi, Dani," I hugged him. "How are you?"
"Good, and you?"
"Good too, just the usual dramas."
"I saw; people don't have much sense.”
"Don't even talk about it. I don't know where people get this rivalry. It's not like I said anything about them in the post."
"Don't worry about it. Fans are just jealous because all of you dated who they wanted. The girls are getting hate now for dating them."
"Yeah, tell me about it," I sighed. "It's terrible for all of us. Max and I aren't even dating anymore, and people still hassle me."
"I can imagine. Heidi sometimes shows me some comments, and they're pretty nasty."
"Well, I need to go, but good luck in the race," I waved. Passing in front of the Red Bull garage, I was pulled inside, and when I saw, I was in Max's driver's room. "What the hell is this?"
"I wanted to see you," he said simply.
"And did you need to pull me in like you were kidnapping me?"
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you and I wanted as few people as possible to see."
"Why? Are you ashamed?"
"Of course not." He stared at me. "How are you?"
"Look, you didn't pull me in here to ask how I am, and I know it was your idea to invite me, even though you tried really hard to make it seem like it wasn't," I said, and he looked at the floor. "So tell me, why so much effort to bring me here?"
"Because I wanted to talk to you."
"You could have called me or sent a message."
"I know, but I needed to say this in person," I agreed and sat on his bed.
"All right, I'm listening."
"I wanted to apologize for my fans. I heard about what happened with your last post, and I didn’t wanted you to go through all this because of me."
"It's not your fault."
"Are you sure? The fans are mine."
"It doesn't matter; they're not your real fans if they're such nasty people," he agreed. "It's okay."
Max sighed, briefly averting his gaze before fixing it back on mine.
"Y/n, I need to be honest about the other reason I brought you here," I nodded, encouraging him to continue. "I still love you, more than I can admit. Seeing you dealing with all this pressure and drama made me realize that, even with everything that happened between us, I can't just let you go. Not again."
My heart raced, and a smile formed on my face.
"Max, I feel the same way. I think, deep down, we never stopped loving each other. Maybe it's time to give what we had a second chance."
He smiled back, sincerity reflected in his eyes.
"Y/n, I just want to do this the right way, without rushing, and make sure we're both ready." I nodded, feeling a profound sense of relief.
"I'm willing to give it a try, Max. After all, what do we have to lose?"
And in the end, I guess I put an end to the exes club.
Bonus scene!

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS, LESTAPPEN.
PAIRING. max verstappen x female reader x charles leclerc.
SUMMARY — It's the day after the race in Las Vegas and Max and Charles wake up with a huge headache, two rings in their fingers and no idea of what happened the night before.
GWEN'S MESSAGE. this was requested by @piastrification! i'm so sorry it took me so long, but i had so much fun writing it! and i hope you like it. as always comments & reblogs are greatly appreciated.
Max wakes up with an awful headache and very thirsty. He tries to adjust his vision to the sunlight but every time he tries to open his eyes, there’s a shooting pain in his temple.
He groans, rolling around in bed. Next to him is Charles still sleeping on his belly, messy hair and something like confetti around him.
Max can’t remember anything from last night. Well, he remembers going out with Charles, Lando, Daniel and Pierre and then a lot of shots and dancing and people shouting their names and then… nothing.
“Fuck this.” He whispers and gets out of bed very slowly, feeling dizzy.
He goes to the bathroom to brush his teeth and have a big glass of water before he passes out from dehydration.
Max is filling a second glass when he sees it; a silver ring around his left ring finger.
He does not wear rings.
“Max?” Charles calls his name and Max walks back into the room with his heart hammering in his ears.
“Did you give me this ring last night?” He asks even before Charles has time to properly wake up.
“Uh?” The Monégasque says, sitting on the bed and looking confused at the hand Max has up in the air, showing him the piece of jewelry. “No?” Charles rubs his face with his left hand but stops halfway when he feels something on his ring finger. “What the fuck?”
There is a silver ring, just like the one Max has, on his finger.
And that is not one of his rings because this has three little diamonds encrusted in it.
“Max,” Charles breathes, a shiver running down his spine as he looks at his boyfriend. “What happened last night?
They look at each other with wide eyes, a million thoughts running through their heads.
“I remember leaving the club with the boys and then everything goes black.” Charles gets out of bed to look for his phone because there must be something in there, but all he finds are five missed calls from Pierre and a lot, a lot, of messages from you on the group chat.
“What’s wrong?” Max asks as he walks away to fill a glass of water for Charles.
“Y/N is here,” He answers, showing him the phone and thanking him for the water with a kiss on the cheek. “She’s downstairs waiting for us with Lando.”
Max groans, falling back onto the bed.
“I feel like we did something really stupid last night.”
“Shut up, we didn’t do anything.” Charles busies himself with looking for clothes in his suitcase, so he doesn’t have to think about last night.
They should forget about last night. Last night didn’t happen.
By the time they made it to the lobby, Max and Charles had agreed that they needed to talk to Lando before talking to you about the shit show that was last night.
They may not know exactly what happened, but by the matching rings they know it’s nothing good.
However, they forget about it when they see you standing next to Lando wearing the most beautiful floral dress and your perfect smile.
“Hey, sweetheart.” Max says, taking off his sunglasses for a second to give you a peck on the lips. Then, he’s putting them back on.
“How’s the hangover?” You tease them, feeling Charles' body tensing next to you. And you really want to laugh because you know exactly what happened thanks to Lando and a very detailed story. “What did you do last night?”
“Nothing,” Charles is quick to answer, looking at Lando and silently begging him to do something. But Lando just laughs. “Lando, can we talk for a second?”
“What do you need to talk to him about?”
“Oh, just about something Dani asked us to do before he left last night.” Max lies and if it weren’t because you’re in a good mood and know why they are lying, you would feel angry.
“Oh, but Dani’s right there.” You point behind his backs and they immediately turn around to find the Australian man talking on the phone. When he sees them, a big smile spreads over his face, giving thumbs up before going back to his conversation.
“Now, why are you lying to me?” You bite your lip, trying to keep up with the show. “Did you do something I should know about?”
And then, they say at the same time:
“I swear we didn’t do anything, we went to sleep early!”
“We don’t remember what we did last night, okay?!”
Lando bursts out laughing, even bending down as he tries to breathe properly, which draws the attention of a few people around that slowly start to recognize them.
“Well, I guess I’m not needed here since you keep lying to my face.” You pretend to be hurt and it's not easy when all you want to do is laugh in their faces.
Max and Charles start talking over each other, trying to make you understand what is actually happening.
“And then we woke up this morning with these!” Charles takes Max hand in his, showing their rings. “I swear to god we don’t know what happened.”
“We were so drunk.” Max looks at his feet, feeling embarrassed. He never drinks that much, but apparently last night was a special occasion.
“Oh, but I know.”
They look at you, expectantly, surprised, confused, a mix of emotions on their faces.
You take out your phone, looking for something before turning the device around so they are able to see the screen.
“You got married.”
There on the screen is a picture of Max and Charles with an Elvis impersonator between them, holding his left hands up in the air showing their rings while Charles is holding up his phone with a picture of you, a drunken smile on both of their faces.
You slide your finger to the left, and a video starts playing.
You can hear Lando laughing while recording. “What are you doing?” He asks, walking closer to Charles who is looking down at the picture of you on his phone.
“Baby, we got married!” He exclaims as Max wraps an arm around his waist from behind, resting his chin on his shoulder. “She doesn’t answer. Why isn’t she answering… Are you mad, baby?”
Dani appears on the video, laughing his ass off as he takes the phone away.
“You’re not on facetime, you idiot. It's a picture.” Pierre says from somewhere next to Lando, probably.
“Say hi to Y/N!”
“Hi baby!” Charles really likes to call you baby when he’s drunk.
“We got married!” Max says a little too loud, but doesn’t care and kisses Charles cheek. “Look, we have your ring right here.” He shows a silver ring similar to the one they have, the difference is that the diamond in the middle is slightly bigger. “Congratulations!”
The video ends with all of them laughing.
There’s a minute of silence before Charles speaks.
“Okay, it wasn’t that bad.”
“What!?” Max looks mortified.
“Well, everyone knows that weddings in Las Vegas aren’t actually weddings.” Everyone looks at him at a loss of words, but he just keeps going. “We aren’t actually married.”
“Charles,” Lando laughs a little more. He’s definitely having the time of his life. “weddings in Vegas are very real. You are married.”
“No we’re not!”
Max sighs, placing a hand on his boyfriend — husband’s shoulder. “Charlie, we are.”
Charles gaps, immediately looking at you. “I’m so sorry! We didn’t know!”
You can’t help it anymore, so you laugh.
“Oh my god, you should see your faces!”
Max and Charles look at each other, and then at you. They don’t have a clue about what is happening anymore. Not since last night.
“You’re not… mad?”
“Well,” You wipe the tears from your eyes, shoving your phone back in your purse. “I was at first, now i just find it hilarious.”
“I’m so sorry, schat.” Max runs his hand through his hair, looking sheepishly at you with a pout on his pretty lips.
“It is your fault!” Charles says out of nowhere, pointing a finger in Lando’s face. “Why didn’t you stop us?”
Lando raises his hands in surrender. “I tried!”
“You should’ve tried harder!”
“Max promised to let me win if I let you get married!”
“Max!” Charles says, offended.
“I won’t do that.”
You shake your head, patting Max’s cheek lightly, condescendingly. “You will if you want me to forgive you.”

ꜱᴜᴍᴍᴇʀ ᴄᴀᴍᴘ - ᴍᴀᴛᴛ ꜱᴛᴜʀɴɪᴏʟᴏ
(part 1)
summary: you and your best-friend matt, have decided to sign up to be a summer camp counsellor for your school's summer project! will you two stay as just friends? or will this summer turn out different for you guys.
a/n: so excited for this, lowkey already got the plotline thought out! really hope you guys like this one, this series is like my final bang before school starts again and i start producing less.
contains: kissing, swearing, no smut (YET ), mentions of anxiety.
—------------╚══ ❀•°❀°•❀ ══╝------------——
"y/n, matts here right now get your ass downstairs!" my older sister shouts, "for fucks sake." i grumble, attempting to zip up my suitcase.
matt and i became really close these past years, i mean, so close to the point where we've both decided to waste our summer at lake-side summer camp. it wasn't really a choice, for our final year of high-school we've been forced to sign up for a job for business class. being a camp counseller won't be hard, right? it's just hanging out with a bunch of 9 years olds for 6 weeks.
as i'm dragging my maroon suitcase downstairs, matt honks twice from his grey van, which is parked comfortably in my driveway. "see you mom!"
i yell out before she races towards me, placing a wet kiss on my face. "keep in touch baby, ill miss you!" she says emotionally, her eyes glossy, as she squeezes me in a tight hug. without another word i'm out the door.
matts standing outside his van, his arms crossed with a small smile painted across his face. my face lights up as i see him, "matt!!" i yell, running towards him full speed as i drop my suitcase. "i missed you so much!" i say, pulling him into a tight hug, he hugs me back, his hand wrapped around my waist as he chuckles slightly.
"i don't think anyones ever been that excited to see me." he laughs. after a long hug i pull away. he jogs over to my suitcase, picking it up with one hand.
"matt its like 90 pounds how the fuck are you lifting that comfortably." i say in disbelief as he throws it in the trunk. he smiles "it's bursting at the seams, what the fuck you got in there?"
"the necessities." i tease, climbing into the passenger side of his van. he follows, jumping in the drivers side. he squints his eyes as he taps at the navigation system. "holy fuck." he sighs "2 and half hours up there." he groans, cocking his head backwards. "matt you're okay, it'll be fun." i say chirpily, trying to lighten the mood.
(2 hours later)
matt's been super anxious for the past 2 hours, i haven't questioned it, but he's been biting his fingernails at every oppurtunity he can bewteen our conversations.
"matt?" i question softly.
"hm?" he asks, his knuckles growing white from his grip on the wheel.
"you seem extremely scared, you all okay?" i ask, staring at him, his gaze is fixated on the road ahead.
"im fine." he mumbles.
i know hes lying. i stay silent, letting the tension grow until he finally breaks. "just a girl there, its stupid honestly, just old.. fucking beef from a year ago."
"well you dont know shes gonna be there." i say optomistically.
"i do though, shes been talking about it to literally everyone, fucking hate her."
i nod silently,
"whats her name?" i ask quietly.
"danielle, well dani. shes gonna be a counseller aswell." he says in a blank tone.
------------------------------------------------------------
the blue and yellow bold sign of the camp fills my vision as we pull into the parking lot. matt stays silent as he gets out of the car, slamming the door in a huff behind him.
i climb out of the car onto the gravel, hes already got my suitcase and his bag, balancing in his hands. he may be annoyed, but hes still a gentleman, "you going?" he asks nodding his head towards the gate. "can i take something off your hands?" i ask signalling towards the bags.
"no just go." he mumbles. "put those down for a second." i say pointing at the suitcases. his eyebrows furrow as he places them on the dusty floor.
i walk over to him and wrap my arms around him, "matt, you'll be okay i promise yeah? just try to be optomistic" he nods. "thank you."
(35 minutes later)
were all sitting in the main hall, theres about 200 hundred kids, ages ranging from 6-12, i'm sitting next to matt in the counsellors section while the camp owner gives a full rundown to the kids.
after a handful of minutes the kids all clear out before a voice from the front calls out.
"welcome, everyone!" the woman calls from the front. "for our newbies this year, my name is jessie and i'm the camp owner here at lakeside summer-camp. since owner and I oversee everything and everyone here. my family founded this camp and i'm so happy to welcome you to our camp this year, you unfortunately wont see me too much because i will be mainly behind the scenes.”
she clears her throat before continuing.
“today is a settling-in day, since so many people are tired from traveling, and the final step of our welcome is meeting the group of people we'll be working with for the next ten weeks, which are all the people currently in here right now, you are all counsellors."
“and about the kids groups, the kids are separated into one of four groups: pufferfish, sharks, fish, and crabs. each animal represents an age group, and each group has six counsellors who work on rotation, 2 of the counsellors will take turns every night sleeping in the kids cabin to supervise."
me and matt look at eachother, he seems to have calmed down a bit now, 'dani' is across the room with a group of girls.
"youve been emailed about your counsellor groups and cabins now," jessie says before stepping off the stage, leaving us alone to check our emails.
the email reads.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hello camp counsellers! welcomes to lakeside summer-camp. the counsellers for each groups are:
Pufferfish: Bella, poppy, milly, reagen, daniel, and max.
Sharks: Danielle, Matthew, Y/n, xavier, and lincoln and paige.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
i dont even bother reading the rest of the email, i slam my phone down into my lap. what are the fucking chances, danielle, the girl matt hates is in our group? great.
i look over at matt, hes pale.
"c'mon, were going to the cabins." he whispers, grabbing my hand and standing up, he lets my hand go, dragging our suitcases out the main hall.
we walk in silence until we see a sign 'SHARKS COUNSELLOR CABINS' there's only 1 cabin insight, from what ive heard the cabins are about 100 meters apart. infront of the cabin theres two names 'Y/N and Xavier.' i give matt a goodbye wave before entering the cabin. i watch matt disappear through the trees towards his cabin.
xavier is sitting on his bed, which has been decorated in his things, consisting of a pink bed sheet, and a flower pillow. "hey girl!" he says smiling, he has a blond buzzcut, brown eyes, hes wearing a purple tight shirt with denim jorts.
"hii!" i say nervously, as i start unpacking my things.
i lay out my bedsheets across the bed, he breaks the silence "oh my god those are adorable," he says scrolling through his phone. "thanks!" i say smiling at him.
(4 hours later)
After settling into my cabin and befriending xaiver, i decide to go find out what cabin matt's in, i sit up in bed, putting my phone on my pillow as i stand up, walking over to the exit.
I open the door to the cabin, stepping out into the evening air. i walk on the gravel path through the trees, another cabin is in sight. suddenly my stomach sinks, rustling in the garland to my left. my neck snaps to the side, my heart stops.
matt and dani. they're making out, they don't even see me. his hands are on her ass and waist, gripping tightly. jealously and anger floods through me. why am i jealous, i don't even like matt like that.. do i? did i just spend my day comforting matt over this.. girl, who he apparently hates. why is he touching her, why the fuck is he kissing her!
what a waste of my fucking day.
abrubtly matt pulls away, he saw me. his face drops as dani stares at me. my heart thumps as i freeze. matt tries to walk over to me, but its too late, i've already took off in the other direction.

Cowboy hat rule p.2
Hii guys I hope you enjoy part 2 of this story, here's part 1 if you've missed it :)
The next morning, you wake up feeling restless, your mind filled with thoughts of Daniel. His deep brown eyes, the way his lips felt on yours, the sound of his voice still lingering in your ears. You roll over in bed, hugging the pillow to your chest, wondering if last night had been a dream. It felt too perfect, too unexpected, but the hat sitting on the chair by the window is a reminder that it was all real.
You sigh, shaking your head as you stretch and sit up. Today’s your last day in Texas, and even though the memory of Daniel is burning in your mind, you know you can’t let it distract you. Your friend has planned for all of you to go to a rodeo today, the final adventure before you head back home.
After a quick shower, you rummage through your suitcase, settling on a cute denim skirt and a red top that ties at the shoulders. As you twirl in front of the mirror, you feel a little spark of excitement. You reach for Daniel’s hat, gently placing it on your head, your heart doing a small flip at the thought of him. It still smells like him, that mix of leather and warmth that made you feel safe. You run your fingers along the brim and smile softly, feeling a flutter of something deep inside you.
Once you’re ready, you meet your friends in the lobby, all of them excited for the rodeo. They tease you a little about Daniel, but you laugh it off, pretending the thought of him doesn’t have your heart racing all over again. As you pile into the car and head to the rodeo grounds, you try to focus on the day ahead, but his face keeps slipping into your thoughts.
The rodeo is bustling when you arrive. The smell of popcorn and barbecue fills the air, and the sound of country music floats through the crowd. You and your friends find seats in the stands, and you settle in, your eyes scanning the arena. You can’t help but wonder if Daniel might be here—Texas isn’t that big, right? You laugh at yourself, shaking your head. He’s probably back at the bar or out on the ranch, far from the chaos of a rodeo crowd.
But just as you're about to turn your attention to the show, you spot a figure in the distance. Your heart skips a beat. From where you're sitting, he looks just like Daniel—same tall frame, same casual confidence in the way he moves. You blink and lean forward in your seat, squinting. Could it really be him?
No. It couldn’t be. There’s no way he’d be here. It’s just a coincidence.
The show starts, pulling your attention back to the arena. The cowboys are skilled, roping and riding, the crowd cheering and gasping at all the right moments.
Finally, the announcer’s voice crackles over the loudspeaker, announcing the last event of the day—bull riding. The crowd goes wild, clapping and whistling in anticipation. You watch, trying to enjoy the moment, but the feeling of unease is still there, gnawing at the back of your mind.
The announcer calls out the name of the final rider. You don't hear it at first, but then you see him step out into the arena.
It’s Daniel.
Your breath catches in your throat. The world around you seems to freeze as you watch him walk out, his cowboy hat tilted low, the same confident smile you remember from last night. The crowd roars, but all you can hear is the pounding of your own heart.
It is him.
Daniel mounts the bull with ease, his movements smooth and practised. The bull bucks wildly, and Daniel holds on, his body moving in perfect sync with the animal. Time seems to stretch out, each second feeling like an eternity as you watch him ride.
When the buzzer sounds, Daniel dismounts, landing gracefully on his feet. The crowd erupts in cheers, but your heart is pounding too hard for you to join in. He tips his hat to the audience, that familiar, charming smile lighting up his face. And then, as if sensing your gaze, he looks up—straight at you.
For a moment, everything else disappears. It’s just you and Daniel, locked in each other’s gaze from across the arena. His smile softens, and his eyes twinkle with recognition. He tips his hat again, but this time, it’s for you.
Your cheeks flush as your friends nudge you, teasing you again. But you don’t care. You’re too lost in the way Daniel’s smile makes you feel—like you’re the only person in the world who matters to him in that moment.
As the rodeo wraps up and the crowd begins to disperse, your heart is still racing. The excitement of seeing Daniel, of that shared glance across the arena, leaves your thoughts spinning. You can’t just leave it at that—something is pulling you toward him, something more than just curiosity.
Before you know it, you’re standing, mumbling something about needing a breath of fresh air. They nod, distracted, and you take your chance to slip away unnoticed.
As you weave through the crowds, your mind races. What are you going to say when you see him? What if he doesn’t remember you? The thought makes your stomach flip, but you can’t help the little spark of hope igniting in your chest.
Finally, you spot him near the back of the arena, leaning against the wall with his hat pulled low, talking with a few other cowboys. You freeze for a moment, nerves tangling in your chest.
He sees you before you even get a chance to speak. His eyes light up the moment they land on you, and that familiar, slow smile spreads across his face.
"Well, look who it is," Daniel drawls, pushing away from the wall and sauntering toward you. “Didn’t expect to see you here, darlin’.”
You swallow, your heart pounding as you try to keep your voice steady. “I, uh… I just wanted to congratulate you. You were amazing out there.”
Daniel’s smile deepens, and he steps closer, his warm, brown eyes locking onto yours. “Thanks, but I was only half-focused on the bull.”
You blink, caught off guard. “Half-focused?”
He leans in, his voice dropping to a low murmur. “Hard to concentrate when I’ve got a pretty little thing like you in the crowd, wearin’ my hat.”
Your cheeks flush, and you lower your eyes, suddenly feeling shy under his gaze. You didn’t expect him to say that, and now your heart is doing flips inside your chest. “I… I didn’t think you’d notice.”
Daniel chuckles softly, his finger tilting your chin up so your eyes meet his again. “I notice everything about you.”
Your breath catches in your throat as his thumb brushes lightly across your jaw. The intensity in his gaze makes your stomach flutter, and you suddenly feel very small under his attention, like he’s the only thing grounding you in this moment.
“And since you’ve been kind enough to congratulate me,” Daniel continues, his voice husky and thick with something that sends a thrill down your spine, “I think it’s time I collect my prize.”
Before you can respond, his hand slips to the small of your back, pulling you closer in one swift movement. Your breath hitches as you’re pressed against him, his chest firm against yours, his warmth surrounding you. There’s a fire in his eyes, one that makes your knees weak, and all you can do is stare up at him, your lips parted in surprise.
“Prize?” you whisper, your voice barely audible.
Daniel grins, a slow, dangerous smile that makes your heart race. “Yeah, sweetheart. A prize for putting on a good show.”
And then, without warning, his lips crash against yours.
The kiss is hot and insistent, nothing like the soft, tentative one you shared last night. His hand tangles in your hair, tilting your head back as his lips move hungrily against yours. It’s overwhelming, the way he kisses you—like he’s been waiting for this moment just as much as you have, like he’s claiming you as his in a way that leaves no room for doubt.
You gasp against his mouth, your hands instinctively grabbing onto his shirt as if to anchor yourself. You’ve never felt anything like this before—the heat of him, the way his body presses you back against the wall behind you, the sheer intensity of it all. You’re dizzy, lost in the sensation, completely at his mercy.
Daniel’s hands explore your waist, his touch sending shivers through you. He’s rough and confident, the complete opposite of the innocent, hesitant way you respond to him. You moan softly into his mouth, and that’s when you feel it—his smile against your lips. He pulls back just enough to speak, his breath hot against your skin. “You look so damn good in my hat,” he murmurs, his voice low and filled with desire. “I can’t keep my hands off you.”
Daniel presses you further into the wall, his body firm and strong against yours, and the heat between you flares to life. His hands are everywhere—on your waist, your hip, tracing the line of your back as if he’s trying to memorize every inch of you. Your own hands tangle in his hair, pulling him closer, and he responds with a low growl that sends a thrill down your spine.
When he pulls back just enough to look at you, his breathing ragged, his eyes are dark with desire. “You’re somethin’ else,” he murmurs, his voice rough as his fingers trace the curve of your jaw. “So sweet and innocent, but you’re driving me crazy.”
As Daniel’s lips trail down your neck, leaving a burning path in their wake, you let out a soft sigh, your fingers tightening in his hair. “Daniel,” you whisper, your voice barely more than a breath.
He pulls back just enough to meet your eyes, his gaze intense, filled with something deeper than just lust. “You’re somethin’ special,” he murmurs, his thumb brushing over your cheek. “I don’t know what it is about you, but I can’t get enough.”
Your heart swells at his words, a soft smile tugging at your lips. “Maybe it’s the hat,” you tease, your fingers playing with the brim of his hat on your head.
Daniel laughs, the sound low and rough, and he leans in to kiss you again, his lips soft but full of promise. “Maybe,” he whispers against your lips. “But I think it’s you.”

Ascension, Return
Pairing: Gale x You (Reader POV) Summary: You watch as Gale restores the Crown of Karsus and temporarily becomes a god before disappearing to return the crown to Mystra. And you can only hope, now that he is a god, that he will return. ao3 link A/N: I was thinking the other day about how in the ending for an Origin run for Gale, regardless of how he plans to deal with the crown business, he always shows up as God!Gale in front of Mystra before agreeing to hand over the crown or deciding to stay a god. And it got me thinking...wouldn't a romanced Tav who is expecting him to give up the crown see him ascend? So anyway I wrote this to get those thoughts out there. As usual pic of my Tav Dani because I keep forgetting to ask to borrow people’s better pictures
It doesn’t take long for you and Gale to make plans to retrieve the crown from the depths of the Chionthar River. The sooner you get this over with, the better, you think, and yet something about this endeavor has you on edge. You secretly wish you can just leave the crown down below the waters…but then, anyone could get it down there, with the right spells or the right technology. You can’t risk that.
You don’t want it in Mystra’s hands either, but what choice do you have? She, at least, is a goddess interested in balance, neither evil like the Dead Three, nor entirely good and thus subject to extreme corruption. There’s no telling what she’ll do with the crown, but she has offered one thing in exchange—a cure for your lover’s affliction.
He’ll be free of the dark hungering orb at last.
It’s enough to convince you. You retrieve your worn bedrolls from the Elfsong and shoulder your pack, ready for your next little adventure—a small boat ride to the other side of the river, and a few days spent with Gale as he searches the murky waters.
You join him on the banks of the Chionthar, well away from the bustle of the city as it is trying to rebuild, watching over him as he sits, eyes glazed with concentration, guiding simulacrums to walk the riverbeds and floors of the river, combing through the mud for the crown. He could have let his simulacrums search without him guiding them, but he wants to be sure, to search closely. He doesn’t want to waste his time turning away simulacrums who bring back scraps of metal, shrapnel from the Iron Throne, or bits from the carnage of the fight against the Netherbrain. So he looks through their eyes, seeing nothing for hours but hazy water, mud, and river plants.
Though you long to lie back and watch the sails of fishing vessels drift by like clouds on the breeze, reveling in a hard-won moment of peace, you don’t want to miss a moment where he might need you. You do not want him to be caught unawares by some curious animal, or worse, a lingering enemy. So you sit and watch, your stomach twisting into knots as you face what you know will be inevitable—the moment when he finally finds the crown.
It takes all of two days of searching. After hours upon hours of looking, he stiffens, his physical body reacting to something beyond your sight, and you know at last that he has found it. You both stand as his simulacrum emerges, dripping water, with the cold bronze of the crown in its hands.
The Crown of Karsus.
It’s so much smaller than you remember. When you faced it on the top of the Netherbrain it had easily been the size of a large carriage. Here, on the banks of the Chionthar, it’s no bigger than a normal crown. It looks innocent. Harmless.
But you know better.
The power it releases…you are no stranger to it. You readily recall the metallic taste on your tongue as you drew near it atop the Netherbrain and the way its very aura tried to drive you to your knees. Its power is weaker now, pulsating from the bronze metal like a faint heartbeat, but you know that it won’t stay that way.
You glance at Gale, wondering what you’ll see in his face. Dark hunger, perhaps, or something bittersweet. Reluctance, dread, or tired resignation. But his expression is surprisingly neutral. He doesn’t step forward to take the crown just yet. Instead, he studies it with his eyes before taking a deep breath through his nose and turning to look at you.
“Do you trust me?” he asks.
You blink, a little taken aback. “Of course,” you say. “Always.”
“That’s gratifying to hear. It will take me some time to restore the crown and the Netherstones to their original state, fit enough to give to Mystra. The process will be necessarily delicate, given the orb I carry. I should ask you to keep a safe distance. A city’s worth of space, perhaps, just in case, but—”
You cross your arms. “I’m not leaving your side, Gale. I’m here with you, for good or ill.”
He smiles then, as much relieved as he is amused and resigned. “I know. I expected as much. But I thought it best to offer or warn you regardless.” He takes a deep breath. “Very well, then. We stay together. I just hope you’ll be patient with me.”
You reach out and take his hand, threading your fingers between his. “I will be. I’m here for you. Take all the time you need, my love.”
He gives you a grateful look, squeezing your hand affectionately before leaning in to brush a sweet, gentle kiss against your lips. You let him pull away, slipping out of reach, and watch with bated breath as he steps forward to accept the crown, the mark on his chest glowing brighter and brighter as he nears and finally takes the crown in his hands.
You don’t know what you expect. A light show, perhaps. A wave of dark, Netherese magic, or a black hole effect. You steel yourself to the fear that he will simply evaporate or fall to his knees in pain.
But nothing spectacular happens, aside from his mark glowing brightly. To your eyes, the crown acts as little more than a normal crown. To him…
You see his chest expand with a deep breath, the orb flaring brighter, watch him blow the air slowly through his lips, his face tense. But without the tadpole in your heads, you can’t guess at what he’s thinking or feeling. He closes his eyes, simply breathing, concentrating. Fighting, perhaps. Wrestling with some unseen force. The glow on his chest dims slowly until it is only a faint purple tint on his skin. Only then does he finally tighten his hold on the crown and turn back to you.
You get the sense that he has just won a silent, unseen battle within himself. It occurs to you too late that putting the crown and the orb in close proximity might actually hurt him. But it seems that the danger has passed...for now. If he’s in pain, he isn’t showing it.
“Come,” he says. “Let us make sure we’re a safe distance from the city. Just in case.”
His words don't inspire confidence, but you say nothing. You merely follow him back to your camp further up hillside. You know he has work to do.
———
You give him time. That’s all he asked for. Time to concentrate on the magic. Time to manipulate threads of the Weave. The Mystran Weave and the Karsite Weave. Sometimes you think you understand what he’s doing, but more often than not, you don’t. The magic he is performing is beyond your comprehension, guided by notes in the Annals of Karsus which lays open in front of him. You suspect some of it comes innately to him, an understanding born from carrying Netherese magic for so long. The rest must come from Karsus himself, written down as instructions or incantations. You give up trying to understand and simply make yourself useful. Or you try to, anyway.
All you can really do is linger nearby, keeping an eye out for anything that might interrupt his work. You barely interrupt him yourself, save to place some food and water near him with a soft reminder that he needs to eat to keep his energy up. He’s not a god yet, you tease, but the words taste sour on your tongue.
Yet. But soon.
You don’t feel ready for it. You know it’ll only be temporary. You hope so, anyway. But you’re still not ready.
The day passes by without you noticing. Gale sits with the crown, working, weaving, an illuminated aura around him filled with heavy magic. You leave him to his work as the sun moves slowly overhead toward the horizon, painting the sky in tones of orange, red, and purple. You lay down to watch the swirls of violet and indigo magic that gather around him as night falls, until in your exhaustion, you close your eyes for a moment to rest.
You don’t know when you drifted off to sleep, but you’re awoken in the early hours of the morning by his hand on your shoulder. You stir, blinking groggily up at him.
“It’s time,” he says softly. He helps you sit up, hands lingering on your arms, your hands. The crown isn’t with him, but sits on top of his pack several feet away. “I’ve done all I can. The stones and the crown are together again. Functionally the crown is complete, but…there is one last step I need to take.”
He kneels in front of you, dark eyes searching your face in the dim firelight. No, you realize. Memorizing. You feel a sudden knot in your throat and though you are seated safely on the ground, it feels as though a yawning void is opening up around you, threatening to swallow you whole should you tip too far to one side.
This feels like a goodbye.
“Once I put on the crown, the magic of the orb will finally combine with that of the crown. And I will…change,” he explains quietly, while you try to calm the surge of fear that grips your heart. “The magic of the crown and orb will become one and give me the power at last to meet with Mystra as an equal.”
An equal. He doesn’t say as a god. But you both know the truth.
You can scarcely breathe. You want to trust him. You want so desperately to believe in him. And he is looking at you so lovingly, but the very air seems tinged with sorrow. Nothing is certain. Nothing save his love for you, and even then, the tiniest doubt worms its way into your head and your heart.
Once he is a god…will he even remember to come back to you?
“And then?” you ask, your voice no more than a whisper.
“And then…I will hand the crown over to Mystra. And hope she keeps her word.”
You release a breath you didn’t realize you were holding. “I trust you, my love.” You use the words, saying them out loud, to dispel your doubts and fears. You do trust him. With your life, with your heart, with your all.
If only you could trust Mystra. Can she be trusted to cure him? Can she be trusted to let him return? And if he does return, can she be trusted to let him return unchanged? Chosen or not, will he still be Gale Dekarios, the man you love? You don’t know. But you hope so.
He smiles at you and brushes the backs of his fingers against your cheek, his fingertips trailing along the line of your jaw. “I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
He leans in for a kiss and you, selfishly, wrap your arms around him and hold him tightly to you as your lips move against his, wanting to never let go. You rise to your knees, following him as he tries to pull away, kissing him deeply, tangling your fingers in his hair, until at last you are both breathless and you have to hide your face in his shoulder. You cling to him, reluctant to let him go just yet.
“Just come back to me,” you whisper. “Whatever happens.”
His arms tighten around you and you feel the bob of his throat as he swallows with difficulty. He strokes your hair and your back, pressing little kisses to your shoulder, your neck, your head. You can feel it in every touch and breath he takes. He doesn’t want to let go yet either.
“I will, my love,” he whispers back. “I swear it.”
It’s enough for now. It has to be. You could delay this day for a thousand days and still never be ready to let him go. But you have to. If he wants to be whole again, free of the orb, perhaps even free of Mystra…he has to do this.
You reluctantly loosen your hold on him and sit back on your heels, meeting his dark-eyed gaze in the early hours of the morning. He takes your hands and lifts them to his lips, brushing kisses against your knuckles, turning your hands over to kiss the center of your palms. Each touch of his lips to your skin is a reverent confession of love and longing and it only makes your heart ache more.
Please don’t let this be goodbye.
“Wait for me,” he says.
You cradle his cheek in your hand, gazing earnestly at him, soaking in every detail of his handsome face, committing it all to memory. “I will, my love. I swear it.”
He smiles at you then, full of love and happiness. He steals one last kiss from your lips before finally pulling away and standing, taking several steps back.
You stand too, preparing yourself for what is about to happen, even though you scarcely have any idea. You expect some of what you expected before, with light shows and waves of magic at best, disintegration and death at the worst, but now it feels even more real. Even more likely. You don’t know what will happen, so you brace yourself for the worst, heart pounding in your throat, gut churning with dread, and hope, desperately hope, for the best, even though you don’t know what that will look like.
You hold your breath as he moves several paces away from you and bends to pick up the crown. This image, too, you commit to memory. The way he looks illuminated by the firelight, the lights of the city glimmering behind and below him, the stars glittering above him. The sight of him with the crown in his hands, contemplating it with an expression of deep gravity. The crown looks small and harmless, despite the sharp curls and the soft glow of the purple, orange, and pink Netherstones that are now set once more in the bronze. But he looks serious, regal even, with it cradled in his hands. Like a king mulling over the weight of his position and the choices that lay ahead. He is beautiful. Heart-achingly beautiful. You wish this moment could stretch on forever, if only because it means not losing him to the crown. To godhood.
He turns to give you one last lingering look, your eyes meeting over the distance between you, before he slowly raises the crown to his head and settles it over his brown and gray locks.
The effect is instantaneous. A blast of magic blows outward from him, kicking up wind and dust and flashing bright enough to rival the sun. You cover your eyes, shielding your face, the light blinding you. Suddenly the air feels electric, tasting of metal and ozone, as though you’re about to be struck by lightning at any second. Wind swirls around you, picking up speed, a cyclone of power and magic with you caught in the edges. You struggle to stay on your feet, your body resisting the pull into the vortex. What little you can see is naught but a haze of magic, purple, blue, and inky black, rushing around you and mixing with the wind. Threads of blue and silver lightning dance around you, passing close enough to make your hair stand on end, shocking you when you take an unsteady step backward. The vortex of wind, lightning, and magic threatens to suck the very air from your lungs until, with crack like thunder, everything around you stops.
The air grows still. It is as though you suspended in time. Held fast by magic. Your ears are ringing with the sudden silence.
You cautiously lower your hand. You have to blink a few times for your eyes to adjust, but once they do, the sight of Gale causes a flurry of emotions within you.
He stands before you as something…more. A god in all but name. He’s taller, you swear he must be, or else his very presence makes him seem bigger. His skin has turned a shade of hard silver, his hair ashen gray. The mark of the orb stands out in stark black on his chest and when he turns his head to examine his hands, his body, you see splintered blue lightning crackling at his temples and down the sides of his face. His brown eyes now glow blue-white with magic, any trace of his former warmth consumed by the light of the power within him. He’s striking, awe-inspiring…
And you can’t help but fear him, just a little.
On instinct you have the compulsion to kneel, but you don’t. You force yourself to stay on your feet and look at him, really look at him, and try to find the man you love behind this new godly veneer. He has to be in there somewhere. He has to be.
“Amazing,” he murmurs, and his voice is layered two or three times over with a strange echo, one that gives you unpleasant shivers. Even his voice carries tiny waves of power. You already miss the warm tones of his mortal voice with its Waterdhavian accent.
He flexes his hands, raising them before his face, his expression one of wonder and awe. With but a gesture, he summons threads of the Weave together in glyphs and effects you can barely make sense of, though you feel the thrum of magic deep in your chest and know, instinctively, that he is capable of snapping your mind with a thought or destroying you with a word. He smiles, and the effect is strange. He looks like himself but he doesn’t. Something about it seems wrong to you. Uncanny. Familiar and unfamiliar.
The pit of dread in your stomach grows.
But then he catches sight of you, waiting, watching breathlessly, nervously, hoping that he’ll remember his promise to you. His smile fades and for the briefest moment you catch a glimpse of the man you love. Even his blue-white eyes, shining eerily from his familiar face, can’t hide the love he has for you.
He lowers his hands to his sides. “It is done. The crown is fully restored once more.”
You nod. You haven’t the faintest clue what to say next. You’re still trying to make sense of the man-god before you.
He smiles again, and something about it is both patronizing, as though he pities you for not understanding, and sincere, an echo of his mortal kindness and patience. He presses a hand to his chest. “Well, I’d best be off then.”
“Wait—” You reach out as if to stop him and he pauses. Your hand hovers uncertainly in the air before you lower it to your side. "One last kiss, before you go. Please."
His smile softens. "I can deny you nothing, my love," he murmurs. He crosses the distance between you with a strange grace he didn't have before. Before he was elegant, but at times a little awkward. None of the awkwardness remains in him now.
You look up as he stops in front of you, his fingers curling beneath your chin the way he does when he wants to lift your face or guide your lips to his. You stare into his glowing eyes a moment before letting your eyes flutter closed. His lips touch yours...and it's different.
There's a magnetism there now that wasn't there before. You seem drawn in as if by gravity. He tastes of metal and magic, his skin cold but not unyielding. Your lips tingle with each kiss and the moment you seek to deepen the kiss—you gasp as a blue electric shock drives your mouths apart, your teeth practically rattling, your lips suddenly hot, almost burned. You press a hand to your mouth, looking up at him in shock, but he's just as surprised as you are. He seems unharmed, despite the tiny sparks of white-blue lightning still skittering over his lips.
"Ah...what an interesting side effect," he says, touching his hand to his mouth. The lightning calms. "Are you all right?"
You nod, rubbing your lips lightly as the numbness from the shock begins to subside and the tingling begins to fade. It wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't unpleasant either. Still, you're wary of trying it again.
He watches you, looking torn, before a new resolve settles his features. "Then I suppose that is my signal to go. The sooner I depart, the sooner I can return." He takes your hand carefully, moving it away from your face, and presses a cautious kiss to the back of your hand. His lips impart another, smaller shock to your skin, but this time you're ready for it. Your fingertips go a little numb, but you manage not to wince.
"Wait for me, my love," he says, finally letting go of your hand. "I won’t be long."
You step back, giving him room to do whatever he needs to do, and watch as he begins to glow, brighter than your eyes can stand. You keep your gaze on his until the very last second, when the light grows too bright to stare at. You blink—and then he’s gone, disappearing in a shower of starlight that fades too quickly.
You are left alone in the cool night, with naught but a dying fire for company.
———
You don’t sleep. You barely bring yourself to tend to the dying embers of your campfire and stoke it back into warm flames. After that, all you can do is sit.
And wait.
And wonder.
And pray.
“Come back to me, my love,” you whisper into the cool night air. "Please."
You half-wonder if he can hear you. If, on some level, you’re praying to him, the newest of the gods. You don’t know if that thought comforts you or worsens your dread. How does he think of you now, now that his mind is that of a god, capable of seeing beyond the constraints of a mortal’s limited view? If he hears your prayers, does he think less of you, or love you more? Will he remember his promise, or will the power he now holds tempt him to break it? You want to have faith in him—you do have faith in him—but doubt creeps in despite your best efforts.
Come back to me.
You recall what it was like to wait for him at Mystra’s shrine at the Stormshore Tabernacle. How he had explained that time runs differently in the Outer Planes. How he would only be gone for a moment. Each second that had ticked by during that time felt like a year.
Now, sitting on the hillside, every second that passes feels like an eternity.
The fire crackles. The lights of the city begin to dim. One by one the stars fade out, hiding from view as the black of night begins to lighten into the blue hues of pre-dawn. And still, he isn’t back.
Wait for me, he said. And you will. You’ll wait as long as you have to.
But what if…?
No. You can’t bring yourself to put your fears into words anymore. Doing so will only make them seem more real. More feasible. There could be a thousand explanations for why he isn’t back quickly. You just have to have faith in him.
You get up and begin to pace. You start breaking little sticks and twigs into tiny pieces to feed to the fire, piece by tiny piece, just for something to do with your hands. You pluck blades of grass one by one or count the stars you can see. And you wait.
And wait.
And wait.
Your thoughts are your own worst enemy and you wish you had called an ally to come and sit with you. Even Scratch with his favorite ball would have been enough to quiet your heart and mind. But instead, you sit alone, the crackle of a fire the only sound to break the silence.
Your eyelids are heavy now and your body longs to drag you down into slumber, but you resist. You want to be there when he comes back. If he comes back. When he comes back.
You get up to pace again, rubbing warmth into your stiff fingers, amusing yourself with memories of him. His smile. His sly jests and silly puns. His hands on your body and his body against yours, yours against his. The smell of him, as much as you can remember. The way he looked during battles, magic crackling and swirling around him. The way he looked in your bed, fast asleep. Gale Dekarios in all his mortal glory, the man you fell in love with. The man you wish was at your side once more.
Gods, but you miss him. You press your hands to your chest, feeling your heart beat beneath your palms. What is taking so long?
The first hints of pink and orange appear on the horizon as you turn to pace away from the fire again, your steps wearing a noticeable path through the grass. At this rate, you fear the sun will arrive before your love does.
You contemplate how you’re supposed to face the whole of a new day alone when a flash of light illuminates the darkness behind you. You whirl, heart racing, to see a shower of starlight once more—and out of it steps Gale.
Mortal. Human. Alive.
“Gale!”
You fly into his arms, which he is already holding out wide for you, nearly toppling you both into the ground with the force of your embrace. You both stagger, but you don’t let go, and his arms around you are as fierce in their hold on you as yours are around him. He practically lifts you off your feet. You can’t put into words how much it means to you that he’s solid your arms—warm, breathing, alive in your arms.
“You’re back,” you gasp, the tears in your eyes and clogging your throat making it difficult to speak. You don’t want to sob and make it seem like you doubted him, but the emotions welling up inside you are hard to suppress. “You came back.”
“Of course, my love,” he says soothingly, not yet relinquishing his hold of you. “You are everything to me. I could do nothing else.”
You untangle yourself from him to wipe the tears from your face and look at him, looking for any changes wrought by his visit to the Outer Planes or from his brief time at godhood. He looks like himself again, his lightly tanned skin flush with warmth and love, his dark brown eyes as rich and deep as ever. You comb your fingers through his soft hair, once more brown and shot through with hints of gray, rather than all over ashen as it was a while ago. Your fingers linger on his cheek, noticing for the first time that the dark vein-like threads that trailed from his eye to his chest are no longer visible.
The mark of the orb is gone.
In its place are a series of faint scars in the same threads and shapes as the old mark, appearing just below his jaw and flowing down to form a circle over his chest. The tattoo-like color has faded away entirely and there is no dark bruise at the center of the circular marking. Any trace of Netherese magic is gone, leaving behind little more than scars faint enough to be missed by any who are not actively searching for them.
You trace the circular scar lightly with the tips of your fingers. “Does this mean…?”
“It does,” he says, pressing his hand over yours so that both of your hands are pressed flat to his chest. You feel his heart beating, his pulse perhaps a little elevated, but every beat strong and vibrant. “Mystra has cured me of the orb. Completely.”
You want to hate her, and perhaps you still do, and always will on some level. But in that moment you’re grateful and relieved too. You wrap your arms around him and squeeze him tight, overwhelmed with happiness and relief and joy. Your love is cured at last. The threat of losing him to Netherese magic is at last put to rest. He is whole again. Restored.
And he is yours. Not hers.
As dawn colors the sky overhead and spills pink-golden light over the both of you, you kiss him, reveling in the taste of him, in the warmth and weight of him, in his hands on you. Not a single spark of lightning threatens to drive you apart, so you deepen your kisses as much as you please. You simultaneously want to push him down into the grass and make love to him there and kiss him for an eternity you know you both don’t have and simply gaze at him in awe and wonder that even while he had godhood in grasp and a crown on his head, he gave it all up for you.
He gave up godhood for you.
You never realized you could love him more than you already did. But you do. Your every heartbeat sings love for him.
You lose track of time kissing him. It could be moments or hours. You don’t know nor do you care. But at last, when you finally pull away from him, it takes you a second to remember where you are, standing out on the hillside across the river from the city. The sun is rising over the horizon now, painting the world in gold and shifting the hue of the sky to a beautiful, cloudless blue. A new day is beginning.
A whole future awaits. And it is yours to shape with your love at your side.
“What’s next, my love?” you ask. “Now that we have everything we both want.”
“Next? For us?” He chuckles and takes your hand, bringing it up to press a tiny kiss on your empty ring finger. “If you still want me, I believe we have a wedding to plan.”
“I will always want you, Gale Dekarios. Now and forever.”
“Is that a yes to planning the wedding? Because I’ll have you know that Waterdhavian weddings are quite the large-scale affair.”
You laugh, his humor clearing the air like the sunlight warming away the fog of a morning and the dew on the grass. “Yes. Come on, let’s find some food to eat and get started. I can’t wait to begin a new life together with you.”
“My love, that new life starts now,” he says, bringing you in for another kiss. You smile against his lips and allow yourself to be corrected. He is right, of course.
Your new life with him begins now.

Good morning, can you do a Danielle Rose Russell X reader where they are dating, and the reader go support her during ' I was Feeling Epic....Again in Mystic Falls' , She sees her in the crowd and get all shy and happy
All Shy and Pink
Female reader x Danielle Rose Russell (+ Kaylee & Jenny)
Warnings: none, just cuteness
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You cheer with the crowd as the cast of Legacies goes up on the stage. You're sat in the third row from the stage, eyes tracking Danielle's movements as she sits on her chair. She has no idea you flew to Georgia and arrived last night. It's a surprise you planned for her since you've both been so busy and have been missing each other.
The panel starts with a heap of people all lined up neatly, which is a bit surprising, but nice, to ask the cast questions. There's laughter and amusement radiating from the cast and the audience.
You try not to flush too much and to your own amusement, not bust out laughing, when someone gets to the microphone and asks a question about Danielle's girlfriend, which would be you. They've only seen you in a background of a live and a story of Jenny and Kaylee's on behind the scenes of legacies throwback.
Danielle obviously flushed right away at the question. Meanwhile Kaylee and Jenny chuckled, knowing the younger woman's utterly in love and infatuated with you.
You pulled out your phone and recorded her response, saving it for later. Her response was so sweet and you could see the love in her eyes.
"...And she's the best person to be around no matter my mood." She smiles lovesick.
"If you don't believe her, don't worry, we have proof" Jenny raised her eyebrows in encouragement, pointing to herself and Kaylee. "Ooh yeah" Kaylee smirks back at Danielle's embarrassment of her two best friends.
The cast and crowd chuckles at the teasing circle of the three friends.
As the panel goes on, you have a hard time not staring at Danielle, even if she's not the one talking or answering a question. Though at one point your eyes traveled over to Kaylee beside Dani, and your eyes lock.
Kaylee's mouth shaped into an 'o' shape before she smirked, discrettly looking from you to Danielle and back. She asks you with her eyes about confirmation, and you nod back, a smirk playing on your face, mirroring hers.
While Jenny answers a question about her character's wardrobe change during the seasons, Kaylee leans to the side and nudges Danielle in the side. The younger girl looks over to her friend, her eyebrows furrowed together in question.
Though instead of answering, she nodded into the crowd. Skeptically, Danielle turned her gaze into the crowd and searched around for what Kaylee was getting at.
And then her eyes landed on you.
You, her beautiful girlfriend who she had no idea was here.
Her cheeks immediately flushed, and you mouthed 'I love you', making her eyes widen and smile lovestruck.
"Ooh, what's got your attention Ms. Russell?" Jenny puts the focus onto Danielle, noticing the playful smirk on Kaylee's face and the flush on Dani's face turning more concentrated from her question.
"Um..nothing" the younger woman answers, shyness making its way into her voice. "Uh huh," Jenny says all 'serious'.
Before Jenny could probe more at Danielle, and much to the woman's relief the call for the panel ending is said.
They all said goodbye to the crowd and walked down the stairs to behind the stage. They went onto the huge grass field, occupying some of the other cast members from the vampire diaries and the originals and tents for shade containing tables with water for them to stay hydrated. Except for one.
Kaylee stayed behind and waved you over as everyone started standing from their seats to leave from this panel. You nod your head and sling your purse over your shoulder before discreetly walking over to her, hoping no one in the crowd takes notice.
Once you get there she leads you back stage and pulls you into a hug. "Hey Kaylee" you chuckle. "Hi" she pulls away, "Oh my gosh, I missed you so much. Aaand, I'm pretty sure your wifey missed you as well" Kaylee raises her eyebrow multiple times in a row for teasing.
You steer your direction over to where Jenny is grilling your girlfriend for answers to her question that got cut off from the ending of the panel.
"I should probably go save her, huh?" You cross your arms, leaning against Kaylee, who's arm is around your shoulders.
"That's probably a good idea, yeah" Kaylee chuckles and waves you off 'enchantedly' making you playfully roll your eyes and start you short journey over to Dani and Jenny.
"There's gotta be a good reason why you were as pink as bubblegum up there" you hear Jenny say with a teasing smirk.
Before Dani can answer, you bud in, "I think I may know the answer" you say, making them both turn towards you.
"Y/n/n!" Danielle exclaims and runs into your open arms. She hugs you tightly, head nuzzled into the crevice between your shoulder and neck.
"Hey, baby" you wrap your arms around her back, holding her closes to you. "You miss me?" you smile after ten seconds of her in your tight hold.
"Mhm," she nods into your skin, inhaling your floral perfume.
You start to rub one of your hands in circles on her back before looking up to the taller woman in front of you both. "Hey, Jen" You smile.
"Hey! So you're the reason our sweet friend became all shy and pink" Jenny teases, a big smile playing on her face as well.
That made Danielle slacken her grip on you a bit and turns to look up at Jenny. "Shut up" Dani gets all shy again.
"Oh, I'm sure she didn't mean it" You kiss her forehead, and as soon as she looks away, you wink to Jenny.
(steve x fem!reader smut)
written for @imyourdaninow I love you so much Dani! 🖤
wordcount- 970
warnings (do not read unless you’re eighteen or over! mutual masturbation, phone sex, name calling. reader is driving) if I’ve missed something please reach out to me! hope you enjoy, feedback is always welcome and appreciated! love you guys!
“Baby, did you hear what I said?” You snap back to reality at the sound of Steve’s voice coming through your car’s speakers. You’d zoned out for a moment around the time when Steve couldn’t shut up absolut wanting to get his mouth on you. “This isn’t fair, you know I’m driving home baby.” You whine out, pouting even though he couldn’t see you do it. The older man laughed on the other end, you could picture his smile in your head, he was far too cocky.
“Awww but isn’t that a part of the fun honey? Don’t you like being all wet for me? Don’t you like being my pathetic slut?” You bite back a moan that threatens to slip out at his words, squeezing your legs together as you try to keep your car on the road and not run off into a ditch because your boyfriend is a menace. “I know you took your bullet with you, you always do, why don’t you use it while you drive baby?” You roll your eyes, really you wanted to slap him silly for this, you sigh and reach over into your bag, pulling your mini vibe out, Steve knew you far too well.
“You’re holding it aren’t you?” You roll your eyes harder, pushing your hips up to pull your pants down to your knees, slowing down a little. You hold the button down, turning it on before pressing it against yourself, letting a strangled moan out, hearing Steve’s breathing pick up on the other side of the phone call. “I can’t believe you’re actually doing this baby, you’re so fucking dirty. Can’t even wait to get home to get off for me can you?” You shake your head slightly, gripping the steering wheel in your other hand that isn’t busy pleasuring yourself.
“N-no, can’t help it baby, you turn me on so much. I wish you were here, wanna pull over and ride you in my backseat.” Steve moans loudly, the slick sound of him rubbing his cock rings throughout the small space of your car. “Fuck, listen to you, wouldn’t even care if someone saw us either would you? All you’d care about is how deep inside you I could go, I think you’d love it if people driving by looked over and saw you bouncing yourself down around me, you want everyone to know who owns you.”
The aching in your body intensifies as you stop at a red light, his words shooting straight down to where you need them the most, you’re so wet it covers your thighs, leaking down onto your seat, you’d have to clean that up soon but for now you were enjoying the sensation of your boyfriends dirty words, not even caring if someone looked over and saw what you were doing. It would only make you cum harder if they did. “Please, I c-can’t last much longer Steve, need you please.” You press the button again, the vibrations kicking up some as you try to stop your hips from moving too much.
“Cumming already? What a desperate thing you are, do you think you deserve to cum? I think you’re being a very bad girl right now, getting off in the car isn’t what good girls do, baby.” You grit your teeth, what a fucker. “I-I’m sorry! Please I can’t anymore.” You bite your lip hard, feeling your orgasm approaching faster and faster, your legs shaking as you check your mirror, looking around to make sure you weren’t keeping someone from being able to pass you. Steve says nothing, his breathing ragged as you hear his fist working himself faster and faster, the combination of trying to focus and feeling lust drunk makes your mind spin. You feel dizzy, or like a feral animal, he was driving you insane.
“Just think baby, if you cum really good for me, I’ll give you whatever you want when you get home. I’ll drop to my knees at the fucking door and eat you out like you deserve, I’ll fucking worship you, now, cum for me, show me how desperate you are, let me hear you.” He says. The fire burning within your veins finally becomes too much, you pull over quickly slamming on the breaks and quickly putting your car in park, a few more circles over your clit and the sound of Steve’s praises is all it takes.
You should be in porn, is the only thing you can think of as you cum, the breathy sounds coming out of you were enough to make you cum even harder than you already were. Steve didn’t last much longer on the other end, grunting out some things you couldn’t understand along with breathy little ‘fucks.’ You quickly turn your toy off, your hands trembling as you throw it down onto the seat next to you. You slump down, gripping onto the wheel as your entire body trembles. Your seat completely soaked under your ass creating an uncomfortable feeling as you lift up your hips again, pulling your ruined underwear and pants back up your legs.
Steve laughs before speaking again, his voice sounding hoarse from how loud he was being just moments ago. “Holy shit baby, that was the hottest shit you’ve ever done.” He praises, causing your face to flush as you shush him. You two quickly fall back into a regular conversation as you turn your blinker on, putting your car into drive and pulling back onto the highway slowly. You hoped Steve would make good on his promise when you got home, you cranked up the air conditioner and shook your head giggling at some joke he was currently making, pressing down on the gas with the thought of him waiting for you at the door, on his knees.
Answer My Call Chapter 2 Part 3
The second of the posts compiling all my snippets from the ask game. I'll try and get another out later today, but it might be tomorrow for the rest.
Story Summary: Jazz, Sam, and Tucker manage to help Danny escape the GIW, but they can't follow him and are under too much surveillance to communicate with each other. Sam snuck Danny a phone as he ran and Jazz sends him a text every day, hoping to hear he is all right. But he's not the one getting the texts.
Jason was away for several months on a mission with the Outlaws. When he finally returns home, he is surprised to find dozens of messages from an unknown number begging a Danny to tell her he's okay. Looks like there's not going to be a break between missions this time around.
Chapter 1: AO3, Tumblr
Chapter 2: First, Previous
Word Count: 1.3k
-----
“Five months ago, he disappeared. I’d already started college, so I wasn’t home. But Sam and Tucker reached out and the three of us began searching. It… It took three weeks to find him. And another week to get him out. In that time… What we found… It wasn’t pretty. The guys in white—” Jazz cut herself off. That day would forever be branded into her memory and featured in far too many nightmares.
Todd made an encouraging noise, but didn’t interrupt.
Jazz took a steadying breath and forced herself to continue. “It wasn’t easy breaking in. And even harder breaking out. Danny was hurt and the agents were chasing us. We had on masks, but they knew who we were. We managed to cause some chaos, though. Released all the ghosts they had prisoner to mess up their scanners. Send them running in every direction.
“It was almost enough. We all got out of the building. But they’d figured out our path and were waiting for us. Sam, Tucker, and I managed to hold them back. Sending Danny ahead alone with the go bag we’d prepared him. He was supposed to either get back to Amity and cross the portal into the Infinite Realms or run north to meet up with the other Dani.”
“But he didn’t make it,” said Todd. A statement rather than a question.
“We don’t know. He never made it to Dani. And due to the breakout, the guys in white placed the town on high alert. There’s checks for everyone entering or leaving the town. If you’re suspected of pro-ghost sentiment, you’ll be brought in for questioning. Ghost shields are everywhere. Sam’s parents withdrew her from school because they didn’t trust her to follow the new rules.” She gave a watery laugh. “They were probably right. Then Tucker was offered a scholarship for a tech school in California. I was escorted back to Boston. Only time I went back was for his funeral.”
Todd nodded. “And they’re in your phones and computers so you can’t talk to each other.”
Jazz smiled wryly. “Yep. Tucker could’ve, probably has, developed something. A messaging program or whatever. But without being able to meet up with us to download it to our devices—” she shrugged “—we’ve no way to get it.”
“Okay, so we’ll start there. Restoring contact should be fairly easy if you all want it—”
“We do!”
“But I’m also worried about your safety. What will happen to you after you ditched your guard today?”
Jazz shrugged. “They’ll bring me in for questioning. Probably make me miss a quiz or something important for school to make it extra inconvenient.”
“What will the questioning entail?”
Jazz bit her lip and shrugged. “Before? Sitting me in an uncomfortable metal chair in an interrogation room like you might see on TV and keeping me there for… oh, up to twenty-four hours? Whenever my parents would find out and barge in yelling at them about how ‘No Fenton would support a ghost!’ or whatever. Now? I don’t know.”
“Do you think they’ll hurt you?” asked Todd. He was frowning. “After your brother, it sounds like they are capable of it.”
Jazz held out her hands. “Depends on if they know I’m liminal or not. I’m not as bad as you are. And especially no where near Danny’s level. I don’t think they’ve been able to detect it yet. But if they have their instruments that close and me captive for that long? I… I don’t know.”
Todd nodded. “That’s what I was afraid of. Look, they don’t know where we are right now and don’t have the means to find us at the moment. I can get you out of here. To a safe house in Gotham or Metropolis or, hell, anywhere you want. And we can reach out to Red Robin, see how things are going with your friend Tucker. Maybe extract him as well.”
Jazz’s mouth fell open. They could… get away? For good? To a Justice League level safe house? She burst into tears.
She might be able to see her friends again soon.
Todd moved so he was sitting next to her. Hesitantly, he put a hand on her shoulder. “So I take it you want to do that?”
Jazz nodded, then shook her head. “I don’t—I don’t know.”
“What don’t you know?”
Jazz sniffed. “I just—It’ll make it easier to find Danny. If we’re together. If we have to go somewhere.” She shook her head. “God, I’m going to sound like such a bitch. I love Danny. If it’s what we have to do to get him back, yes. Absolutely. But… It’s just… My degree. If I disappear halfway through the year for who-knows-how-long? I’ve been working to get into Harvard since I was ten years old. Since long before Danny had his accident.” She scrubbed at her eyes. “God, I’m such a bitch. My brother needs me. And if I go back, I’ll probably be detained long enough it’ll impact my grades anyway. And that’s if the Guys in White don’t just lock me up indefinitely.”
“You’re not a bitch,” said Todd, voice filled with some emotion she couldn’t put a name to. “Like you said, this has been your dream for practically half your life. But I think we can help you with that.”
She looked up at him in surprise. “How?”
Todd grinned. “I doubt your school would be able to complain or hold it against you if I had Kori—Starfire—tell them that you were needed for an urgent Titans mission. That you helped save the lives of countless people. Way I see it, they’d have to forgive your abandoned classes and allow you to retake them.” He hummed and looked up. “In fact, I’m pretty sure we could find a Justice League fund to pay for at least one semester of classes for you. Probably more. To make up for the money lost on this one.”
Jazz’s mouth fell open. “You’d do that? For me?”
“And your brother and sister and friends. It’s kinda what we do.”
Jazz nodded. “Yes, please. If you can do that, I’ll go with zero hesitation. I’d have given it all up for Danny, of course. But we’d both… not regret it. But he’d feel guilty he forced me to give up my degree and I’d always be a little resentful I had to. Not towards him, never towards him, but the Guys in White and Vlad and my parents.”
“Great. I’m going to call Arsenal and Starfire. I need one of them to get my car anyway. Left it parked back near our meeting place and I don’t think we should be going back anywhere near there if we can avoid it.”
“Then what?”
“Then I’ll reach out to Red Robin, see what happened when he went to meet up with your friend Tucker out in San Francisco. See if they’re up for an extraction as well. If I gave you a phone, would you be able to reach out to Dani-with-an-I?” He grimaced. “Do you have any other way to differentiate them?”
Jazz chuckled wetly. “Nope. Dani-with-an-I refuses to change her name. Says it’s her name and she’s not going to change it just because someone else had it first. And Danny-with-a-y hates going by Daniel or Dan. When they’re together, they drive us crazy with it.”
Todd grumbled something under his breath. “Fine, whatever. Just, do you have a way to contact her?”
Jazz nodded. “We’ve been too scared to, but if you can get me something with an internet connection, I can contact her and have her meet us somewhere.”
“Easy. I’ll have Arsenal bring us something that you can have to yourself rather than relying on borrowing our phones or computers.”
“Thank you. You didn’t have to do this, but thanks.”
Todd shrugged and stood. “I wasn’t going to just ignore you after seeing those messages. Now, try and get some sleep. It’ll be a few hours before my friends can get here.”
Hey are you doing good? Your writings are just so CUTE AND WHOLESOME (guilty of reading them over and over) And when you're free and if you want, could you please write how Yuji, Megumi, Gojo and Geto would react to their gf preparing food for them for the first time but it doesn't taste as good🥺? Thanks!
"MADE FOOD? OH NO..."
—making food (to the best of your ability) for gojo, geto, yuuji, and megumi
a/n: i am doing well; thank you so much for asking! and thank you a ton, sweetheart! I am glad you like them <333 I hope you enjoy this as well! I honestly relate to this so much
GOJO SATORU:
"I AM HOME!” satoru announces loudly and you run to him and tackle him in a hug. he happily squeezes you tightly and spins you around, “YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I MISSED YOU, SWEETS!”
you giggle as he starts peppering your face in kisses, “the curses were so ugly as usual, eugh, I am so glad I can finally look at something as beautiful as you.”
“oh shut up, you flirt.”
“of course, you’re no match to my beauty but I can accept it—“ he says but as is cut off by you, rightfully, elbowing him in the stomach.
you turn your back to him, “how disappointing and poor me spent time cooking something for your ‘beautiful’ self.”
"really?!" and the way he instantly beams at the mention of good makes you chuckle. it also make you just a tad bit worried and you involunatrily fidget with your fingers.
of course, he notices, "what's wrong?"
you sigh, "I am just worried that the food won't be as good as you think it will be, but I tried my best, I swear!"
he cups your face, "listen, the fact that you made it for me will make it the most delicious one ever; I know it!"
"I made kikufuku," you mumble and satoru dashes towards the plate and quickly takes a bite. he hums, closing his eyes to truly assess it. dramatic loser.
"it's not that bad!" he says, taking another bite—call it making sure I guess, "it's a tad bit dry, but after a couple tries, I think you will make kikufuku on par with the ones in sendai!"
he grins before stomaching the rest of the plate, "is there more?"
you shake your head and satoru gets his handy-dany catoru apron, but not before pressing a kiss to your cheek, "then let's make them together!"
GETO SUGURU:
"hey, honey, what is this?"
you quickly try to cover the plate, "it's nothing! don't mind it. it's just a...random plate."
"a random plate," he smiles, "that why you're trying to cover it?"
you sigh in defeat, knowing that even if you come up with a tons of excuses, he will quickly find loopholes in them. you swear that this man knows you far too well.
he chuckles before pressing a kiss to your forehead.
"so what is it?” he says as his arm wraps around your waist.
"a failure," you mumble as you hug him and bury your face in his chest.
he hums as he pats your head, "I asked what it is not what you think it is, sweetheart."
"soba," you murmur, sadly. he lifts up your chin and quirks an eyebrow and you repeat yourself, clearer, "soba."
truthfully, it looks like one really sad plate of soba, but you really put a lot of hardwork in it; he can see that, especially in the presentation. the soba itself does look pretty soggy, but he would be damned if he let your hardwork go to waste.
"I am eating it," he decides as he gets out his chopsticks and prepares to dig in.
you grab his wrist, "no! you don't have to do that!" you smile, "we can just order; it's okay!"
he presses a kiss to your lips, "I want to eat the food you made."
"even if it isn't good?"
"even if you think it isn't good," he then gladly starts slurping the soba. turns out, it's not as bad as it looks. could be better, but it's edible so he continues eating and you're already ordering a ton of dessert and already-made soba.
"y/n, I like it!"
"don't lie."
"but I really do!"
ITADORI YUUJI:
something really sweet yuuji likes to do for you is to cook for you. whether it's his famous meatballs or some other dish he knows you like, he makes it for you with the biggest smile on his face.
you thought that it's time to repay his kindness. you were a decent cook, not the best, but you made things that were at least edible.
so, after trying your utmost best, you have finally finished the bowl of rice along with some of his favorite toppings.
"y/n! y/n! y/n! I am here!" you hear him yelling. voice booming with excitement as he wraps his arms around you in a very big hug, "I missed you so much!
you kiss his cheek, "I missed you too and—sukuna, your ass better not come out today or I will kick your ass."
"like you could do anything, you filthy woman—" you throw a ghost pepper at his mouth. sukuna's eyes widen before he disappears from yuuji 's cheek.
yuuji starts laughing, "you have no idea how much he is cussing right now!"
you shrug and hold his hand, dragging him to the to the kitchen, "ta-dah! I made you your favorite food!"
he beams, pressing a kiss to your cheek, "thank you so much, babe! it means the world to me!" he takes a hold of the bowl and starts eating before pausing.
"...is it that bad?"
he quickly shakes his head quickly, "no! I like it!" he continues eating and you know that he won't tell you the negative things about the dish.
he is just too sweet for his own good.
"yuuji."
he keeps eating.
"yuuji, please, you don't have to do this."
the champ still keeps on eating.
you sigh, "I am getting the meds, just in case."
FUSHIGURO MEGUMI:
"soooo I cooked something."
and megumi has to hold back any reaction as he remembers the first time, you two were in the kitchen. you somehow, someway, managed to burn butter and he was convinced he was going to die at that moment.
eh, at least you were by his side, screaming your head off, but with him nonetheless.
that was in the past though so he has to focus on the present and his job as a boyfriend to be supportive, "mhm, and what did you make?"
"grilled chicken with ginger!" you beam and he feels his heart squeeze just a little. you always remembered details about him and he does his best to keep everything you say in mind.
he smiles, albeit small, "thank you," he instantly takes a seat in front of the plate.
his expectations are not high, but he appreciates the effort you went through to make him this.
he nods at you, gratefully once again, before starting to eat. after a few bites, he stops to look at you, "did you mix up salt and sugar, again?"
you gasp, "what?! no way!" you quickly snatch the fork and take a bite yourself before frowning and dramatically falling to the ground, "I really did..."
you bury your face in your knees as you hug them closer, "I am sorry, megumi; I wanted to cook something for you and I ended up messing up."
he sits down in front of you, taking your hands into his own so he could see your face, "y/n, it's enough for me that you did all of this for me."
you shake your head in disappointment, "but I messed up."
"but you still made something," he rests his forehead on your own, "that's enough, I promise you. just...let's keep cooking when we're both around."
A Better World
Request: hey! Is it okay if you write something for Daenerys where reader is usually very playful and is suddenly scared of Dany? After the thing in King's Landing, R is very cold and overly polite with Dany, calling her "Your Grace" and flinching away from her. Happy ending and female reader please!
Hi! I am so sorry it took me so long to get to this request, I was so busy and then I took a break from writing. I wanted to make sure I took some time with this request when I started writing again, I love this one.
This is my first time writing for Daenerys and Game of Thrones, thank you for sending this in. I love this request, I have so many thoughts about Daenerys’s ending, she didn’t deserve to die and I miss her. This is a little different from your request, but I tried my best to stick to it. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!
(Warnings: mentions of death, murder, grief, execution, let me know if i missed any)
You had never known another woman like Daenerys.
Fierce, but kind, and undyingly loyal. She was strong, and brave, and everything the realm needed her to be. You watched in awe at everything she did.
She often spoke of how she couldn’t do it without you by her side. From the desert wasteland after Khal Drogo’s death, to her dragons being stolen. From witnessing the deaths of slaves, to making decisions regarding the lives of those who betrayed her.
There were countless times she thanked you for your ability to lift her spirits and keep her going. She loved that about you, how easily you were able to get her to smile and laugh, and keep her uplifted and driven.
When she and her armies secured Meereen after the attacks from the Sons of the Harpy, resulting in the death and near death of Ser Bariston Selmy and Grey Worm, she found the time to take you aside to confide in you.
In her chambers at the end of the night, she laid in your arms with her head resting on your shoulder.
“I don’t know how much longer I can do it.”
You sat up, looking her in the eye. “Do what, love?”
“Watch people die. Watch the people who put their faith in me suffer, because I cannot protect them.”
“No,” you quickly shook your head. “You cannot think like that. You saved these people. Without you, they would still be suffering, even worse than now. You freed the slaves, gave the armies something to believe in. Someone to fight for. You are doing all you can. You are one person, you cannot be expected to save every single person who looks to you for help.”
“Why should they follow me if I can’t save them? Why should you? I was so worried for you today, I didn’t know if you were safe or not.”
“I’m fine, see?” You said, dramatically showing her your arms and legs to prove you hadn’t been hurt.
Daenerys tried to fight it, but a smile broke through, and yours grew at the sight of it.
“There’s that smile.”
You cupped her cheek in your palm, running your thumb across her cheekbone.
“People die every day, Dany. People get hurt. There’s nothing you can do to stop that. What you can do is lead these people. You can break the wheel, so that nobody else has to suffer in the ways you did. The people follow you because they believe in you…I believe in you. You’ll be the one to save us all. So please, do not worry about my safety, or whether or not I’m alright. I will always be alright if I’m around you. I may have my fears, but I have never once feared for my life when it came to following you.”
—
Sticking by Daenerys’s side for the better part of her adult life, the things that scared you were far and few in between.
You had watched her take cities and free slaves. You watched her command armies, getting the Dothraki and Unsullied to believe in her fight. She was fierce and relentless, never stopping until the work was done.
You had watched her dragons hatch and grow into the beasts they are now. Others might shake in terror at the sight of them, but to you, they really were Daenerys’s children. You never feared them. They never hurt you.
Together, after uniting the North, you had fought the Night King. You lost many, and feared for the death of friends and family, but you made it through.
You had watched both Viserion and Rhaegal die.
In your years with Daenerys, their deaths were one of the only times you had been afraid to be around her. Watching her grieve was more than you could take. You watched her grow cold.
But still, she was your Daenerys. Your girl, your Queen, your best friend. With you by her side, she made it through. Despite the rage and sorrow you knew she felt, she grew warm again, opening back up to you. You made it through together.
You had fought through your fears together, and now, there wasn’t much you were truly afraid of. You had been through it all together, what was left to fear?
—
The darkest day was when she rained fire down upon King’s Landing.
You watched in horror as she sat upon Drogon, seething as she listened to the city ring the bells in surrender. You knew that face.
Missandei had been killed just days before, and Daenerys was devastated. That, on top of the North rejecting her as their leader, and the deaths of her dragons, it was more than she could bear.
Instead of heading straight to the Red Keep, she set fire to the streets. The sound of screams filled your ears, people desperately trying to run away. Mothers calling for their children, crying when they couldn’t find them.
Soldiers from the Keep were being slaughtered by the Dothraki and Unsullied, as well as any man who tried to stand in their way.
Jon, who had been charged with keeping you safe in the unlikely event that you would need protection, kept you close by his side when the real chaos began.
You were supposed to stay with Tyrion, but you couldn’t wait any longer. You wouldn’t stand by and let your people get hurt because Cersei was too prideful to save her own. You had gone down to the streets to try and reason with the soldiers fighting for Cersei to give up. The city was surrounded, there was nowhere for them to go, and it was a fight they would not win. All they had to do was wait for the bells to be rang, and that was it.
Men and women screamed for the bells to be rang, begging and pleading with their Queen to surrender. Daenerys watched overhead atop Drogon, and you knew even when the bells were rung that it wasn’t the end.
She first headed for the Keep, and you had a fleeting sense of relief that she was going to do the right thing. The people would be spared, and Cersei would die. That’s how it should have been. But people started running and screaming, and your heart sank from your chest.
Just as the men laid down their swords, and you were going to retreat to safety, fire filled the streets.
Grey Worm commanded the Unsullied to kill the Keep’s soldiers, with the North men and Dothraki quickly following. Jon convinced a few to stay back, to not kill anyone, but quickly was forced to fight back when the soldiers swamped him and his men.
Jon immediately brought you to stand behind him, handing you a sword off a dead soldier. You knew how to use it, and you’d fight for your life, but you were scared. Even if you survived this, you wouldn’t survive dragon fire if Daenerys unknowingly turned your way on Drogon.
“Stay close to me! Don’t leave my sight!” He yelled, and you quickly nodded, following behind him.
Soldiers were burning in the streets. Mothers cried as they clutched their children to them, hiding in alleyways. Smoke and ash encased the city.
You killed any soldier that tried to kill you, but mostly watched in dazed horror as you followed Jon through the streets, running as fast as you could.
Soldiers from your own side were murdering fathers in front of their wives and children, forcing them to run. Mothers were sacrificing themselves, giving their now orphaned children just enough time to escape.
You could see it in Jon’s face that he was just as horrified as you, only killing when necessary. His men weren’t listening to him, and screams filled the streets.
“Find somewhere to hide,” he told a woman who had narrowly escaped a soldier's wrath, motioning for her to get up.
You grabbed his arm, turning him towards you. “Jon, there’s nowhere to go.”
He gave you a sad look, pulling you with him. “Just keep going.”
Ash filled the air, making it hard to see. Injured citizens were laid out all through the streets, screaming and crying in agony. Others called out for lost family, unable to find them. People were running, trampling over each other.
“We’re going to die here,” you said, narrowly escaping the buildings caving in.
“She wouldn’t hurt you. Not you.”
You heard his words, but you didn’t believe him. An hour ago, you would have. But now, you were afraid. So afraid, and it was because of her.
“Fall back, Y/N. We have to go beyond the wall, we have to get out of the city. Fall back! Fall back!” He yelled to the surrounding people, pleading with them to follow him.
You kept a hand tightly clutched to the back of his coat, not daring to let go. You followed where he led, trying to shut out the sounds of explosions, screams, and cries.
The Dothraki went in to finish the job, killing any survivors the flames and wreckage missed.
—
Within an hour, the fighting had stopped.
There was so much ash in the air that it looked like it was snowing. You were choking on it, it clinging to your eyes and scratching its way down your throat.
Casts of people's incinerated bodies lay throughout the streets, small fires surrounding them.
You and Jon hadn’t said a word to each other in minutes, both in shock. The silence was so loud it was beginning to hurt your ears.
Tyrion led you through what was left of King’s Landing, before parting to go find his siblings, if that was even possible.
Jon kept you by his side. Slowly, you walked together to the steps of the Keep, trying your hardest not to look at the dead children scattered in the street. There were a few survivors left in the city, dazedly wandering around.
You stumbled upon Grey Worm, who had Lannister soldiers in a line on their knees. He had sentenced them to die in the name of the true Queen. Jon couldn’t stop him, and you moved onward before the executions began.
You walked through the army of Dothraki, and then the Unsullied. A banner with the Targaryen house sigil was hung over the wall.
You climbed the steps with Jon, spotting Grey Worm at the top. Jon stopped halfway up the steps as he heard Drogon’s roar, turning to look.
You kept going. You were afraid that if you turned around, and you saw Daenerys atop Drogon, you’d never be able to get the memory of it out of your head. Your view of her would be permanently scarred. You heard the cheers of her army as she flew overhead, and you quickly climbed the rest of the steps, turning around at the top to face the armies.
Daenerys suddenly walked through the archway, coming to stand at the top of the staircase.
You shrunk into the corner, and were unnoticed by her. Jon took his place beside you, laying a hand on your shoulder.
“Don’t be afraid,” he said quietly. “You’re safe now. It’s over.”
You nodded, watching as Daenerys addressed her army. First the Dothraki, and then the Unsullied. You had a vague understanding of each language she used, catching a few words here and there. You found it hard to pay attention to her speech, your new fear of her now outweighing your love for her.
She spoke with a fury that you had once admired.
But now, as you listened to her speak, you feared she was following in her house’s footsteps. She was supposed to be the Targaryen that changed everything. The one to save you all. Now, you weren’t so sure.
Tyrion appeared, standing at her side. You only caught glimpses of their conversation, their voices drowned out by the cheers of the army.
“I freed my brother,” you heard Tyrion say. “And you slaughtered a city.”
He removed his Hand of the Queen pin, throwing it down the steps. It grew quiet, and you anxiously watched as Daenerys commanded for him to be taken away.
As Tyrion was led away, Daenerys finally turned around and spotted you.
You must have been a sight to see. Covered in ash and blood, your clothes torn and your hair disheveled. A dead man’s sword, still in your grasp. You willed yourself not to shrink away from her gaze in fear, keeping your eyes on hers.
She let out a small gasp, concern written across her face. Daenerys had never anticipated you getting hurt. You were supposed to stay outside the city and away from danger, yet here you were, lucky enough to have narrowly escaped death.
A death that would have been by her hands.
“Y/N,” she muttered, taking a step towards you.
You took an involuntary step back, internally scolding yourself for showing weakness. Her eyes widened, and she gently took another step toward you.
“What happened to you? Are you hurt?” She asked, softly cupping your chin and turning your head to get a better look at you.
You gently pulled your face from her grasp, shaking your head. Your voice was small.
“I’m fine, Your Grace. Just a few scratches. Jon was there to help me.”
Daenerys was confused by your words and distant tone. “Why were you here, I told you to—“
“I’m sorry,” you quickly said, taking a step back. “If you’ll excuse me, my Queen. I need a moment alone.”
You rushed off before she could say another word, finding an alleyway to duck into. You collapsed against the wall, taking deep and erratic breaths. How could this have happened? Why didn’t she accept the surrender?
It was just that morning that you looked at the woman you loved with nothing but pure adoration in your eyes. Now when you looked at her, you felt fear strike in your heart.
You thought through the events of the day. You watched her burn a city to the ground, with everyone in it. You watched soldiers from your own side slaughter innocent mothers and children. You heard cries for help as Drogon flew over the city, incinerating everything in his path.
This was not the first time Daenerys chose the violent path. She murdered the slavers of Astapor. She crucified hundreds of Meereenese nobles. She burned the Dothraki khals alive. And who could argue with that? You were by her side for all of it, and you justified each one. They were evil men doing evil things, they deserved to die. They didn’t deserve her mercy, they deserved the gruesome deaths they got.
But after so many liberations, the bodies began to pile up. The streets were filled with blood and ash, and who was left to rule over all of them now? Your Queen.
She freed the people of Meereen, Slaver’s Bay, and now Kings Landing. She freed them, and she would continue liberating people until the entire world was free.
At its core, it wasn’t a bad idea. Daenerys has a good heart, you knew that much. She was doing what she genuinely believed was right. Freeing people, you agreed with. Breaking the wheel was a necessary step. But the methods in which she did and would continue to do it weren’t excusable, even by you.
To her, it seemed as if building a better world, and burning it to the ground, were one in the same.
Fire and blood was in her nature. You hadn’t decided if that was a good thing or not yet.
—
A few hours later, you were called to the Red Keep.
Daenerys had requested your presence. Grey Worm led you to the throne room in silence, opening the door and guiding you in.
“That will be all. You may leave us,” Daenerys said, and he closed the door behind you.
She was standing before the Iron Throne, running a hand along the melted down swords. She hadn’t turned to look at you yet.
“Tell me,” she said, her voice soft. “What were you doing in the city? You could have been killed.”
You fought the urge to scoff at her, fiddling with your hands in front of you. Biting your tongue, you answered.
“I’m sorry, Your Grace. I didn't mean to upset you.”
“Your Grace?” She asked incredulously, turning around to face you.
You held your breath as she stared, feeling like her eyes were piercing straight through you.
“Is that not what you want to be called, My Queen?”
“Not by you. You’ve never referred to me as such. Why now?”
You chose your words carefully, keeping your gaze on the floor. “You have the throne now. You have control of the realm, you are now its ruler. As Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, is it not my place as a subject to refer to you as such?”
She ignored your answer, asking again. “Why were you in the city?”
“I couldn’t stand by any longer. The city had fallen, but the bells hadn’t been rung. If there was any chance that I could convince Cersei’s soldiers to stand down and give up control, I had to take it. I followed Jon’s men to catch up with him, and just as the soldiers laid down their weapons, the fires started. The fighting followed. I had no way of getting out of the city on my own, and so I stayed with Jon.”
You heard her approach you, faintly flinching as she got close.
“Look at me,” she commanded, her voice quiet. “Y/N…look at me.”
Reluctantly, you glanced up to meet her gaze. She reached out, taking one of your hands. You stiffened, but didn’t pull away. You felt tears stinging your eyes, and willed them not to fall.
“Why can’t you look at me?” She asked, squeezing your hand. “Do you fear me?”
It was silent for a moment. You looked into her eyes, feeling a twinge in your heart.
“What if I do?”
A look of sadness set on her face. It pained you to see it, so much so that you almost gave in to her touch.
“Why?”
“Have you been down there?” You asked, growing angry. “Have you seen all that you’ve done?”
“I did what was necessary–”
“No!” You said, cutting her off. “No. You did what was easy.”
You watched as her jaw clenched, and she dropped your hand. She moved to turn around, but you grabbed her shoulder to stop her. She looked at you in shock, but didn’t say a word.
“I could have died, Daenerys. Do you realize that?”
“I would never hurt you–”
“But you did! I was lucky compared to most of the people down there. I’m still alive. I didn’t lose anyone. I can’t say the same for anyone else. I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared. When I heard the bells toll, and the city had surrendered, I felt relief. You were supposed to go for the Keep! This was just about Cersei.”
“Cersei gave me no choice!”
You shook your head. “There’s always a choice, Daenerys. I watched innocent men, women, and children die today. Either at the hands of your soldiers, or from the fire and destruction you rained down upon them. I killed men today. I ran for my life for hours through the streets. I would have died if Jon wasn’t there to protect me. When it was all over, we walked by complete and utter destruction. Families burned to ash. Children…burned to ash. You once told me you had no interest in being Queen of the ashes. Has that changed?”
Daenerys took a step closer to you, laying a hand on your cheek. “I did not intend for you to get caught in the crossfire. You must believe me, I would never put you in harm's way. I’d never forgive myself if you had gotten hurt.”
You pressed your face into her palm, feeling fresh tears spill onto your cheeks.
“I understand that this city is corrupt. And I know how hurt you are, I know how much you’ve lost. Jorah, Missandei, your dragons, the North’s support. There’s nothing I could say that would make that any better. I know how much you’ve had to grieve, and I wish that I could take that pain away from you…but you punished a city for it. This throne, it has corrupted you. It’s made you lose your way. Dany, I know your heart is good. I know that. But I will not stand here and justify what you did today. How can you?”
Her face crumpled at your words, and she sank to the floor. You slowly followed her, kneeling at her side.
“All my life, I’ve waited for this moment. I’ve sacrificed so much, Y/N. I’ve seen too much suffering at the hands of people like Cersei Lannister. I will not stand idly by when there is something I can do to change that.”
“I would never ask you to. I understand the world you’re trying to create, Dany. You have done so much good already. Freeing people, killing tyrants, and that is how it is supposed to happen. I have stood by your side and supported you through it all, have I not? But this is too far. Please tell me you see that.”
“I never meant for it to be this way. I never meant for you to get hurt.”
You nodded, taking her hands.
“I know that. But hear me now, and hear me well. You are not your Father. You are not him, or your brothers, or any other man that has come before you that has been responsible for the suffering of countless others. There is this rage in you, one that I think has been brewing for generations. Don’t let it control you. You are stronger than it. Be better than the ones who came before you.”
She clung to your hands like she was too afraid to let you go. “I don't know if I know how to do that.”
“I’ll help you,” you said, squeezing her hands. “We all will. I won’t lose you, Dany. Not after everything. But I will not stand by your side any longer if continuing down this path is what you choose.”
“I did what I thought was right,” she whispered, and you felt your heart crumble at her words. “I’m so sorry.”
“I know you did. That’s why I love you so much. You’re my best friend, and My Queen. I’ve watched you for years, in awe of you every day. You’re strong, and you’re driven, and you’re brave. You care about people, and you’ve saved so many. You’re good, Daenerys.”
Tears streamed down her cheeks, and you quickly wiped them away.
“I believe in you, Dany. I believe in your fight. But what happened today is not the way. This rage that is inside of you, in some ways, I admire it. But it is controlling you. If you truly mean what you say, then we must do better. Building a better world means protecting those who cannot protect themselves.”
She listened to your words, and sat for a moment in silence. After a moment, squeezing your hands, she stood and walked to the edge of the room where the wall had fallen. She let out a shrill whistle, and Drogon appeared from below.
He crawled inside the keep, facing his Mother. She turned to you, giving you a sad smile, before turning back to Drogon.
“Drogon…Dracarys!”
Standing tall, letting out a roar, Drogon set fire to the Iron Throne.
You shielded your face from the heat, watching in shock as he melted the throne down into nothing more than a pool of steel on the floor. Daenerys backed up, stopping when she stood by your side. You reached for her hand, gripping it tight and intertwining your fingers.
Daenerys never ceased to surprise you. She was the strongest person you had ever met. She waited years to sit upon the Iron Throne, and had given up so much of herself for it, only to burn it to the ground when it really mattered.
Your Dany was good, and she would not let herself be controlled by the demons that controlled the very men she sought to overthrow. The wheel would be broken, that was a dream she’d never give up on. But it would be broken by justice and mercy, not fire and blood.
When it was over, she turned to you. “I won’t be weak. I won’t allow the evil of this world to continue. Sometimes, fire and blood is necessary. It is the way, for those who deserve it. But it won’t control me. I won’t be cruel. I won’t kill those who don’t deserve it, and I’ll protect those who cannot protect themselves. You were right. I don’t want to be Queen of the ashes…I want to be Queen of the free. I said that I wanted to leave the world better than I found it, and that is what I intend to do.”
You smiled, bringing her into your arms. “I’ll follow you every step of the way, My Queen. As long as it takes. We’ll do it together.”
***
It’s quiet in the early hours of the morning, as quiet as it gets in a city where millions of people share the same space. Usually, this is your favorite time of the day – you love to sit with your thoughts for a while, to read a book or to listen to a record, the volume turned low so you won’t disturb Javi and Katie. Eventually, one of them always joins you, or you hear them in the kitchen making breakfast.
Today, you dread the moment you’ll hear movement in another part of the apartment. Your heart is heavy with the kind of grief that only comes with knowing you made a mistake that can’t be fixed. Nothing can distract you – no book holds your attention for long, you’re scared of spoiling your favorite songs by listening to them when you feel like this. All you can do is sit on the leather couch, the material sticky against your skin, and turn yesterday’s events over and over in your mind, cursing yourself because you’re never brave enough. Why can’t you be brave just once, for the people that matter the most to you?
Eventually, you hear the bedroom door creak open and then shut quietly. You take a deep breath, steeling yourself for what’s to come. Do you want Javi or Katie to be the one coming down the hallway? If you could choose, you’d prefer neither of them but Katie would be indefinitely worse; you’re not ready to face her hurt and disappointment. You had enough of that last night.
Javi is the one who walks into the living room, yawning and scratching his chin. He’s naked apart from short boxer briefs that cling to him in a way that usually makes your mouth water. Today, you avert your gaze, hoping against hope he won’t see you sitting there. It’s no use.
“Sweetheart, what’s wrong?” he asks, his voice quiet so he doesn’t wake Katie.
You shake your head and angrily wipe at your cheeks, only now realizing that you’re crying. “Nothing.” Your voice is heavy with tears.
“Hey.” Javi rushes over to pull you into a hug. You let him, even though it makes your heart squeeze painfully.
Javi doesn’t push you to tell him the truth, he just holds you close and waits, soothing you by running his hand up and down your back. He smells of sleep, and faintly of sweat, and he smells like Javi, a scent that is so familiar to you that it has become a part of who you are. You don’t know what would happen to you if you ever were to lose it.
Eventually, you pull yourself out of the hug and look down at your hands resting in your lap. “I think she hates me after what I did to her yesterday.”
“No,” Javi contradicts you immediately, “Katie could never hate you.”
You see that look on her face again, full of hurt and heartbreak after you pulled your hand out of hers to move closer to Javi. You remember how she barely looked at you when you got home, let alone spoke to you. “Did you notice how she immediately turned away from me last night in bed?”
Javi pulls a face that’s impossible to read, even though you know him so well. “She’s hurt. I can understand why. She wants things that you can’t give her, things that might … And I understand you too,” he adds quickly as you feel your heart sink from your chest into the pit of your stomach. “You’re afraid to hold her hand in public. It’s –”
You interrupt him. “It’s not that.” It is that, at least partly. “People know we’re together. What if they see you and Katie together? What if they see me and her?”
“It was never a problem when it was just a casual thing we did once in a while,” Javi deadpans.
You pause, carefully considering his words. “Because there was no danger of losing either of you,” you finally answer.
Javi laughs, the bright sound filling the living room that’s full of bright morning light. “Yes, there was. There always is. Oh, baby.” He puts one arm around your shoulders. “You have to stop worrying so much about what other people think.”
“That’s easy for you to say.”
“No, it’s not.” Javi squeezes your shoulder. “One wrong step could get me fired. Or killed. But us three, we have to trust each other. If you talked to Katie and told her how you felt, I’m sure she’d understand.”
You lean forward and bury your face in your hands. “How can I ever make it up to her?”
Javi shrugs. “Just tell her you’re sorry.”
You sigh, your chest heaving. “I don’t know how.” You still have no idea how to navigate this, although by now you feel like you should. Javi and Katie don’t seem to be having any issues with your situation. Why is this so hard for you?
“Then show her you’re sorry,” Javi suggests.
Now it’s your turn to laugh, and the sound comes out a little bit strangled. That’s Javi’s way of doing things. And you don’t mind … you don’t mind at all when he’s on his knees, his head buried between your legs, licking and kissing you until you’ve forgotten why you were mad at him in the first place.
“That’s your forte, not mine,” you point out.
You don’t know what you expect Javi to reply to that, but him smiling softly down at you isn’t it. “She loves you,” he reminds you. “Whatever you do will be enough.”
Javi takes your hand and pulls you off the couch, and you follow him even though your heart is hammering in your chest. You’ve never been good at apologies, so you’re trying to live your whole life avoiding any situation that would force you to give one. And still you fucked this up. If you said those things out loud, Javi would only smile again and give you the standard answer. “We all make mistakes.” Then why are the mistakes others make so easily forgiven and forgotten while you wear yours like a brand on your skin?
Javi stops in the doorway to your bedroom and pulls you to his side. Katie is still asleep, stretched out over half the bed, one of her hands reaching out as if she’s looking to touch either of you. You love that about her, the way she wears her heart on her sleeve, never afraid to fight for the people she loves. You wish you could be more like her; you wouldn’t be in this situation if you were.
“Look at her,” Javi whispers into your ear.
You do. You see her dark curls, her tanned skin, the cluster of freckles on her right shoulder, like a constellation of stars pointing you home. Maybe she has already forgiven you because she loves you, just like Javi thinks, but even if she hasn’t, you want to do whatever is necessary to earn her forgiveness. Because you lo love her.
Katie stirs, yawns, her eyes still closed, and it feels as if a hand wraps around your heart and squeezes it tightly. You yearn to be with her, yearn to feel her skin against yours, her lips on your lips, to open yourself up to her until there is nothing left for her to learn about you. Just as you did with Javi and Javi did with you.
“Go to her,” Javi whispers then, and releases you.
On unsteady legs, you walk toward the bed that was yours long before it was hers, but that can never be complete without her in it, and climb into it on her left side, careful not to wake her but eager for her to open her eyes. You run your hand up and down her naked back and kiss her temple, her cheeks, her closed eyelids.
She doesn’t push you away, like you were scared she might do. Instead, she asks, “What are you doing?” her voice heavy with sleep.
You glance at Javi who is still standing in the doorway. He nods. “I would love to spoil you. Can I do that for you?”
Katie stiffens beneath your hand and it takes everything in you not to pull back and run for cover. Your heart clenches again, painfully, and you brace yourself for the inevitable rejection. But you stay, trying to breathe as evenly as possible, almost daring Katie to start the fight she so desperately seems to want to have with you.
Katie opens her eyes and looks for yours, and you hold her gaze, ready for whatever she is about to say to you. But there is no hurt in her eyes anymore, no fire, no guardedness. She looks curious, almost mischievous instead, and finally, she nods.
You don’t give your body time to respond to that nod, to let relief wash all over you. Instead, you trap her chin between your thumb and forefinger and kiss her like you’ve been thinking about doing ever since you saw her lying in bed, completely unguarded. She kisses you back, eagerly parting your lips to let you in, almost as if your fight never happened. Nothing seems to have changed, and you don’t quite know why, but you push those thoughts out of your mind. This isn’t about you. This is about Katie.
You pull the thin cover off Katie and hungrily let your gaze wander over her naked body. She rolls onto her back and bites her lip, waiting for you to decide what to do with her. You start by kissing her neck (she giggles), the top of her breasts (she holds her breath), the peaks of her hard nipples (she gasps), and you run your hands all over her body, wherever you can reach, eager to leave no spot untouched. She laughs airily, surprised by your enthusiasm. You laugh too, surprised by how easy she’s making this for you.
You suck one of Katie’s nipples into your mouth and she moans, a hoarse little sound. Your gaze flickers to Javi to see his reaction to it, but he is still standing where you left him, motionless. You only find approval on his face and that, paired with the way Katie’s hands dig into the skin of your arm, tells you you’re doing this right.
Eventually, Javi moves and your heart skips a beat. You didn’t ask him what his plans were, whether he wanted to join Katie and you or whether he wanted to make this about you and her, but you had been hoping he’d be there with you. He stands at the foot of the bed at first, a quiet smile on his lips, then pulls his boxer shorts down. You have to turn your head at an awkward angle to see he’s half hard, and Katie immediately notices she doesn’t have your full attention anymore.
“Hey!” she snaps and grips your jaw. “Eyes on me.”
In the past, you would have felt embarrassed at how loudly you moan in response, but there are no secrets between the three of you anymore. All your desires have been laid open a long time ago. And this morning the only thing you desire is to give Katie anything she wants, anything at all.
You feel the mattress dip as Javi climbs into bed next to you and leans over to give Katie a good morning kiss. They both have their eyes closed, and Katie’s hand finds its way into Javi’s curls. Your heart finds its way into your throat and gets stuck there, just as it always does when you see Katie and Javi kiss. That’s another desire you’ve come to terms with, one that you wear proudly on your sleeve, like one might wear a wedding band on the fourth finger of the left hand or a scar that says, I went through terrible things, but I’m still here. I made it out alive. And you love to watch Katie and Javi together, love to see her writhe beneath him, love to see him lose his mind when she has her mouth wrapped around him. You love that they want you to be a part of it all too, love that they need you to be there.
Javi runs his thumb along Katie’s cheekbone and Katie’s eyes flutter open. “Do you want her to eat you out?” he asks.
Katie’s eyes land on you, glazed over with lust. Her cheeks are flushed now, and when your eyes flicker to her throat, you can see her eagerly fluttering heartbeat beneath her skin, like something trying to free itself, trying to lay itself bare hoping it won’t get crushed. Katie bites her bottom lip (you love it when she does that, you should really tell her that more often) and nods eagerly. You smile in response, then slap Javi’s arm playfully.
“Don’t interfere,” you tell him off, ignoring the eager pull in the pit of your stomach that comes with imagining tasting Katie on your lips. “This is my apology.”
Still, all three of you know how this is going to end, so there’s no need to pretend. You scoot down Katie’s body, leaving a trail of wet kisses on your wake, until you kneel between her spread legs. It’s one of your favorite sights – Katie all open and vulnerable, just for you. The high you get from that is unrivaled.
Katie props herself up on her elbows, her long hair tumbling down her beautiful shoulders. “What are you apologizing for?”
“Shhh, don’t talk,” you tell her, and dip your head down between her legs.
You lick a broad stripe from her opening all the way up to her clit, the taste of her a million times more intoxicating than you had imagined. You let out a groan against her at the same time as she falls back down against the pillow with a sharp exhale. She shifts beneath you, spreading her legs even wider, pushing her hips up into your mouth ever so slightly.
You move up her body again even though your own screams for you to stay where you are and devour her whole. You kiss the soft plane of her stomach, that one birthmark next to her belly button that you love so much, and then you make your way up to her breasts, cupping one and licking across the hard nipple. Katie lets out a soft whimper that makes your heart clench.
You don’t know what makes you look away from Katie and over to Javi, but something must have and what you see makes you clench around nothing, your hips eagerly rocking forward. He’s stroking himself slowly, almost casually, drawing out his own satisfaction, watching the two of you. That’s also something you love – him watching Katie and you, not being shy about the pleasure he gets from it; sometimes he even asks you to put on a little show for him, and you and Katie love doing that because you know it’s not just about the sex for him. He loves to watch the two women he loves fuck each other.
Javi smirks at you, and you pull your mouth off Katie’s nipple with a wet pop, ready to tease him, when she begs, her voice all broken and quivering. “Stop teasing me.”
Your attention snaps right back to her and you kiss her wet nipple. “That’s teasing for you?”
Katie grips the back of your neck, her nails raking your skin. “I thought you wanted to apologize.”
You laugh, but it doesn’t come out all nonchalantly as you had hoped it would. “I said I wanted to take care of you.”
Katie’s eyes are bright with fire that’s impossible to get under control as she considers calling you out on your lie. She pushes up her hips. “Take care of this then.”
When you laugh again, it’s a sound full of relief. Maybe Katie isn’t as angry with you as you had feared. Maybe this can be fixed just as easily as it was almost ruined. You certainly want to try.
You move back down and come to rest between Katie’s legs. She’s glistening with arousal, a sight so inviting you can’t help yourself. You run your fingers through her drenched folds before you push two of them inside, holding her down when she tries to lift her hips to meet your thrust.
“You’re so wet, do you know that?” you ask, your voice deep and hoarse.
Katie props herself up on her elbows again and nods.
“I love it when you’re like this,” you go on, “and I know it’s all because of me. I love how eager you are for me to touch you. I love that you can’t get enough of this.” You curl your fingers and hit that spot that makes Katie’s legs quiver.
You kiss the inside of her knee, her thigh, that little spot just above where she wants your tongue the most. Never once do you stop fucking her with her fingers in a steady rhythm, giving her just enough to build pleasure but never enough to make it all come crashing down. By now, you know her body well enough to do that.
“Please,” Katie whispers, and you can never refuse her anything when her voice sounds like that.
You flick her clit with the tip of your tongue, then massage it gently before sucking it in between your lips, making Kaite moan so loudly you’re sure your neighbors must have heard. You look up at her to find her watching you with wide eyes, her chest and neck covered in a deep, red flush, her mouth hanging open in an attempt to get more air into her lungs, but her shallow breathing tells you she’s failing. Her eyelids flutter when you suck on her clit again, but she keeps them open, sending a jolt of electricity through your body.
You pick up a steady pace with your tongue and your fingers, and your eyes wander over to Javi. He’s still watching you, still stroking his now very hard cock in time to your steady licks. You slow down and he matches your pace, you speed up again and he keeps up. He tries to smirk at you, but you flick Katie’s clit with your tongue again, and her responding moan makes his jaw go slack and his eyes flutter shut. You can’t quite describe what you feel, but it sure feels like you’re on top of the world.
You kiss Katie everywhere – her thighs, her soft folds, her clit, her stomach, even her wrist when she reaches out to grab for you. You kiss her everywhere she will allow. Her breathing comes in sharp pants now, and when you lick her sloppily, hungrily, it turns deeper and deeper, sounds you feel in your chest right next to your heart. You move lower, lick across her opening, push the tip of your tongue inside of her, but when you glance up at her, she’s still watching you with her wide eyes.
Javi notices it too: the way Katie still tries to hold on, as if she’s scared of what a loss of control might mean for her. “You’re still holding back. Just let go.” His voice is strained, like he’s doing the same, like he’s postponing his own pleasure for the sake of hers.
Katie’s eyes flicker to you and she blinks slowly, as if she’s only now remembering his presence. Javi doesn’t allow her even a single second to make sense of it all. Instead, he kisses her, slowly, languidly, as if you’re only just getting started. Katie doesn’t move at first, stops breathing all together, and then finally – finally! – she sinks down against her pillow, closing her eyes.
You pull back with a shaky breath, watch as Katie reaches out for Javi, as she grips a handful of his curls, and holds on. Javi growls against her mouth and deepens their kiss, still moving his hand up and down his cock, leaving a wet spot on Katie’s side where the tip brushes her skin. You want nothing more than to watch them, but your bad conscience still gnaws at you, and you decide that Katie has been played with long enough. Without pretense, you push your two fingers back into her and soak up her desperate whimper like a desert soaks up the rain. She clenches around you when you roll her clit under the tip of your tongue and that involuntary response to you makes you moan against her drenched folds.
“I love how you taste in the morning,” you tell her, and she clenches again, signaling you that she heard you. “It’s my favorite taste in the whole wide world.”
Javi’s breathing becomes ragged and he lets out a deep moan, a drawn-out sound that suddenly hitches. You glance up at him and see that he’s coming, thick ropes spilling onto his stomach and Katie’s, his hips bucking up into his fist. Your face grows hot as you watch him, hot with shame at how hard your pussy clenches, eager for him to fill you up.
You don’t get to enjoy that sight, that feeling it gives you, for long though. Katie lets out a gasp and presses her palm to the back of your head, hard, pushing your face down between her legs while rolling up her hips into it. She clenches and clenches and clenches around your fingers and you fuck her through it, unable to draw a single breath as she rides out her orgasm, gushing around your fingers and onto your chin and tongue. Her ragged pants fill up the entire room, pushing all of the air out of it.
When it’s all over, you wipe the back of your hand over your mouth, your heart hammering in your chest. Javi lazily runs his fingers through the mess he’s made on Katie, while she just lies there, eyes closed, her chest heaving. You push yourself in between them, crawling on all fours, until you let yourself fall, facing Javi. You kiss him, and he kisses you back, taking his time to run his tongue over your lips, your chin held tightly between his thumb and forefinger. You know how much he loves that, tasting one of you on the other.
Eventually, Katie curls herself up against your back and you turn so you face her, while Javi places gentle kisses against your neck and shoulders, and whispers, “Well done,” into your ear, so low only you can hear it. Something in your chest expands at that.
You cup Katie’s face and she opens her eyes, her gaze bright. Gently, you wipe away a stray tear making its way down her face. “You’re not my dirty little secret,” you whisper against her lips, your eyes locked onto her face, making sure she understands what you’re trying to tell her. “And I never want you to think that.”
Katie smiles one of her open smiles that always announces to the whole world what she’s feeling, then kisses you, ending it with a quick nip to your bottom lip before you have time to enjoy it.
“Tease,” you mumble at the same time as she says, “I love you.”
It’s strange how easy it can be sometimes. “I love you too,” you reply.
Home for the Holidays (s.o. x reader)
pairing: sam obisanya x reader
word count: 2.3k
warnings: none? let me know if i missed anything! (not proofread haha)
a/n: a little christmas post for my favourite boy! I got a little carried away with this and basing it off the christmas special from season 2 but I hope you enjoy!!
“I thought you were spending Christmas with your mom,” Ted comments as you sit in his office, a semi-pitying look from both him and Keeley making you want to cover your face in your festive jumper.
“She picked Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Day so to the hospital she goes,” you reply, twirling your phone in your hands.
“What about your sister?” Nate asks from his perched position.
“Her girlfriend invited her on a surprise trip to Paris until the end of the month. She invited me to come after but it felt weird y’know?”
“Damn, where’s she been hiding that money?” Coach Beard asks.
“No idea. My sister says she’s good at investing or something but I also have a sneaking suspicion she’s a nepo baby”. The group in the room do a collective ‘ah’ in understanding. Keeley asks about Sam, to which you explain that he doesn’t celebrate Christmas and since the relationship was relatively new, you didn’t want to scare him off with how intensely your mum and your sister love to celebrate. That was before you found out neither of them were going to be there of course.
Ted looks to Coach Beard, asking what he’s doing for Christmas.
“I thought you two broke up?” Keeley asks as he announces that he and Jane are going to a pagan tradition at Stonehenge.
“We did, but we bought the tickets before we broke up so we’re going as friends,” he replies with slight distaste.
“Well that’ll be….what about you Higgins?” Ted changes the subject.
“We open presents and then host a party for any members of the team who don’t have a place to go on Christmas. We usually get about two but Ted and Y/N, you’re more than welcome”.
“I appreciate the offer Higgie Smalls but once Henry wakes up in,” Ted checks his phone, “about an hour, he wants to open presents together and spend the whole day on FaceTime”.
Higgins looks at you for your response. You nod, a small smile on your face, “yeah, sounds like it could be fun. Thanks Higgins”.
After the boys had finished their Secret Santa exchange, you wait for Sam out in the hallway of the facility, saying hi to the other players that walked past and getting a high five from both Colin and Isaac. Sam was second to last to leave, still slinging his coat over his shoulders as he and Dani walked out together.
“So I will see you at Higgins’ house later mi amigo?” Dani asks Sam, who nods and gives him a firm handshake before they bump chests, both with big smiles on their faces.
“Ay I got invited to that too,” you smile at the two boys as Sam grabs your hand to walk to his car.
“I thought you were spending the day with your mum and sister?” Sam asks, looking down at you with scrunched eyebrows.
Your face falls as you realise you hadn’t told him. You quickly apologise, explaining that because work had been so busy the past few days, you thought you had told Sam that your family was going to be gone, but apparently that was not the case. He is quick to shush your apology, claiming that it’s fine because now the two of you will get to spend your favourite holiday together after all.
“I guess that means we could head over to your place for a bit before we go to the Higgins’?” you look across at Sam as he starts the car, but he is quick to shut it down.
“Do you not want to get changed before we head over? I can drop you off at your home and pick you up when you are ready,” he replies, looking straight at the road. “Besides, I have a dish I need to pick up as a housewarming present”.
“Oh,” you slump, a little defeated, “ok”.
Getting ready for the party did not take nearly as long as it felt like Sam had expected, as it took him forever to respond to your ‘I’m ready!’ text. Something felt weird about the whole ordeal but you push it off, wanting to enjoy your favourite day with some of your favourite people. By the time Sam pulls up in front of your house, you’d checked your makeup a million times in the mirror, made sure you’d unplugged your curling iron about the same amount, and was watching cat TikToks when the doorbell rang. “You look lovely my love,” Sam compliments as you open the door. You thank him, holding out your hand for him to take before you close and lock your door, making sure not to trip on the front steps.
The drive to the Higgins house is short, meaning you two are still somehow early for the event. It comes as a relief, though, when they open the door, as Sam had informed you in the car that he was in desperate need of the restroom. You hold back a laugh as the smallest of the Higgins boys answers the door, and you and Sam both look down with a little ‘hello’ and a wave. You take the dish from Sam as he enters the house first, but Higgins is soon to join you both, showing you two to the living room where all the appetisers had been laid out.
“What a wonderful spread,” you compliment, to which his wife Julie replies with a thank you and a large smile. As Higgins asks what Christmas makes Sam think of, to which you can’t help but laugh again as you know the answer, Julie offers you a glass of wine (which you gladly accept).
“Colonisation,” Sam replies, “but I am more than happy to celebrate the day with you. It’s Y/N’s favourite holiday anyway, so it won’t be my last,” he smiles at you. “We also have some friends in Lagos who celebrate with jollof rice and goat meat, so I made you some”. You hand the dish to Higgins, who looks sceptical.
“But don’t worry, I used chicken,” Sam clarifies.
“Thank God,” Higgins mutters, looking down at the dish before one of his older sons walks up, complimenting Sam on his protest against Dubai Air. Hearing Higgins swear in support of his son surprises both you and Sam, causing a round of light laughter before Sam is asking about the bathroom again.
“If it’s your favourite holiday, why aren’t the two of you doing something separate from the party?” Julie asks as she comes back in with the wine.
“I forgot to tell him that my family wasn’t going to be available, and when we celebrate, we go all out, so I didn’t want to scare him off when we’ve only been together a few months”.
“I doubt anything could scare that boy off,” Julie chuckles, “he’s the happiest, most dedicated boy on the entire earth. Plus, he’s in love with you”.
You blush, not expecting to get so personal with the Higgins family quite yet.
“She’s right, Y/N, we’ve all noticed it around Nelson Road,” Higgins joins in, standing next to the arm of the couch.
“That’s…nice,” you nod, not entirely sure what else to say.
The next chunk of time is spent voluntarily helping clean up the house before everyone else arrives, Sam having turned gathering the wrapping paper into a game with the youngest. You smile from the corner of the couch you were picking extra pieces of tape off of; watching Sam play with kids always made your heart melt.
“Did Santa bring you something good this morning?” Sam asks.
“It’s ok, I know there’s no Santa,” the youngest shrugs as Sam sits down at the dining table.
“But of course there is!” You comment, making your way over to the two, positioning yourself in the doorway.
“How could he possibly deliver presents to everyone in one night?” The boy questions.
“Ah see, but it is one night split between 24 different time zones. Santa’s true power is not his speed, but his endurance,” Sam explains.
“Wow,” the boy’s face lights up, “he got me a bicycle,” he smiles.
“Brilliant,” Sam gives him a double fist bump before the youngest runs off at the sound of the doorbell.
You walk over to where Sam is sitting, running your hands down his shoulders as he wraps one of his hands around your arm. You lean your cheek on the top of his head, muttering about how wonderful he is before he laughs, planting a kiss on the hand he grabbed, and shaking his head. The next to arrive are Dani, Jan Maas, and Richard-who also brought a date- all with something to offer in their arms. They look a bit like the three wise men, but with alcohol instead of gold. Zoreaux follows quickly after, looking incredibly smiley as he announces he had previously gone to the wrong house. As more and more people arrive, you start to feel that warm, tingly feeling that reminds you why you love Christmas in the first place. So many people around, all happy to see each other, brings so much joy, especially when it brings on a Nerf battle to which all members (children and adults) are very dedicated. Putting dinner together is a sight to see, considering the regular dining table was conjoined with a surfboard and a pool table in order to fit all of the guests.
You rest your head on Sam’s shoulder as he grabs a dish from one of his fellow players, smiling at the mention of goat meat and laughing as the youngest Higgins boy tries to sneak himself some wine from Richard’s bottle. “I’m glad we got to do this together,” you whisper into Sam’s turtleneck.
“Me too my love,” he replies, looking down at you and trying to kiss the top of your head.
Higgins stands up as everyone passes dishes around and makes joyful conversation, clinking his wine glass to make a toast. “I just want to thank everyone for coming,” he starts.
Sam raises his glass as you take your head off his shoulder, “to the family Higgins!” Everyone begins to cheer, Jan Maas clapping his hand against the table.
“You’re going to make me cry,” Higgins continues, “to my lovely wife, Julie, my sons, to you and all your families back in Lagos, Guadalajara, Groningen, Cordon, Montreal, Benin City, Harare, Kingston, and Santa Cruz de la Sierra. I know you would have preferred to be with them,” Sam reaches under the table and grabs your hand, “but it was truly an honour to have you with us, to share our traditions and help us make some new ones. To the family we’re born with, and the family we make along the way.” Sam squeezes your hand as Higgins finishes his little speech. “And most importantly, to Richmond!” “To Richmond!” Everyone cheers in response-you included, raising their glasses.
There was suddenly a sound similar to feedback from outside and the youngest Higgins goes out to check for the cause of the commotion. “Ho ho ho Higginses!” Ted calls from the street.
The team all crowd around the window, greeted by the sight of Ted and Rebecca with three buskers, all in festive outfits.
“Holy shit,” you laugh to Sam, who grabs your hand again before leading you out the front door. After spending a good bit of time outside with the team, dancing in the snow, everyone starts to say their goodbyes. You and Sam give parting hugs to everyone before getting in his car. He wordlessly starts to drive, and you assume he’s going to drop you off at your house, but as you miss the turn, you open and close your mouth in question.
“I thought we could continue the festivities at my place if that’s ok,” Sam comments, glancing at you before looking back at the road.
“Yeah, ok,” you smile, looking at the few houses decked out in Christmas lights as you keep driving.
“Now this sounds weird, but I need you to close your eyes as we walk in. I promise it’s nothing scary,” he adds that last part in response to the way your face scrunched up.
“Ok…” you laugh uncomfortably, covering your eyes with your hands as Sam links one of his elbows with yours, guiding you up to his kitchen before informing you that you can drop your hands.
The sight in front of you is truly amazing, and you almost start crying on the spot. Sam stands off to the side with a nervous smile as you scan the room, looking at all the Christmas decorations and a full table of your favourite desserts that stand in front of you. A trifle and a Christmas pudding, a spiced Victoria sponge and a pitcher of mulled wine. You turn to face Sam, still with the nervous look on his face, before running to close the distance with a bone crushing hug.
“I take it that you like it?” He asks, slowly wrapping his arms around you.
“I love it!” You sniffle as you let go, looking at him in admiration. “But how? Why? I mean you-”
“Your sister told me when she accepted that trip to Paris that both she and your mum would be gone, and I know how much you love Christmas, so I decided to put a little something together”.
“A little something? Sam, this is amazing! Thank you so much,” you hug him again tightly. “Why did you agree to go to Higgins then?”
“You love celebrating with other people, and I figured we could just add on to the celebration. Initially we were just going to come back here after Secret Santa, but it ended up working out because the Victoria Sponge wasn’t ready yet. So, I dropped you off first, and a little extra celebration time wasn’t going to do any harm,” he shrugs.
“You’re amazing, you know that?”
“Only for you my love,” he chuckles, grabbing your face lightly, pressing a soft kiss onto your lips before turning back to the feast. “Now, let us not put this all to waste”.
You turn excitedly to the table, wondering how you got so lucky with such a wonderful boyfriend.
