♡ So it’s hard to tell if he enjoys them or not.

♡ Films like Saw or Room 1408 will have him in a chokehold, but he always has something to say.

to yearn — to love through a pencil

a long sigh. not one of frustration, not one of boredom, it was far from being of any discontent. in fact, it was the opposite. a soft warmth crawled throughout his face, holding his features in an embrace he had grown so familiar with.

he was staring, how long had he been staring? it didn't bother him much, but he harbored different feelings towards the paper in front of him. there it lay, in its incomplete beauty, a drawing of you. normally, drawing his favorite muse would bring him relaxation. it gave him an excuse to study your every feature, what was there to complain about? but today, he found his sketch particularly stubborn.

another sigh, this time out of complete frustration, as he (begrudgingly) tore his eyes away from you to focus on the minute details. your hair was never that messy, what on earth was he thinking? he erased and focused on the details of your hand, of which was so affectionately holding your favorite drink.

he felt the cool paper underneath his fingertips, and the smooth graphite that would soon stain his fingers a dark grey. he dared himself to wonder what it would be like to hold your hand, to feel and memorize the feeling of the hand he'd drawn countless times. he quickly shook his head, the soft warmth becoming sharper, it's embrace ever tighter as his once sunkissed features started to smolder.

"I think my eyes are a bit bigger than that, no?"

the voice cut through his train of thought, and he looked up. it was foolish, the way his first thought was about how utterly breathtaking you looked up close. god, he was in deep.

an extended hand, a sheepish greeting shared between two in love, words shared over a piece of paper. he hoped his face didn't look as scalding as it felt. and as he left the exchange and carried on with his day, he was embarrassed. after all, getting to witness you so personally had opened up his eyes to a plethora of features and seamlessly perfect imperfections that would stick in his mind the next time he dared pick up a pen and paper.

writers note: hello! this is my first work on this account although I have run a semi-popular writing account here in the past 😓 i wanted to have this account for my more niche interests and especially for the fandoms where I've read all of the fanfics for already. I've never done this type of writing-headcanon style (because it didn't really work for the fandoms I wrote content for in the past) but I think it's a good way to combat burnt out (maybe.. we'll have to test that theory)

The Danganronpa fandom proves again they’re just a bunch of hypocrites.

Everyone a few months ago was talking about how everything Kodaka says on bluesky "isn't canon", but today it *suddenly* is.

So you're going to tell me that THIS is canon, but that everything that follows isn't? Even though it was written by the same creator on the same social network?

So all those photos posted by Kodaka saying that Komaeda can also like girls, that's weirdly not canon...?

What's more, you know that Japanese people speak very little English, and Kodaka is no exception, is it?The question itself was kind of confusing, yet again, Kodaka might have got confused himself and a lot of Japanese people kind of didn't get it that much either.

Otherwise, I don't see why Kodaka would have confirmed to Japanese fandom that Komaeda could also like girls. That would be totally contradictory, and I don't think Kodaka is stupid enough for that.
