Overexposure makes a return

Kinda rushed cuz I didn’t have much time to draw today. I originally had no idea what to do for this prompt, but then my good good friend @braveboiart gave me the idea to draw Dreamcatcher (my Dandy’s World AU’s Twisted Astro)

Decided to go for a grayscale aesthetic cuz that’s more so how I imagine the AU to be presented. Like, if I ever got around to actually making a comic out of it, it would be grayscale

First WIP I’m showing- I’ve really been getting into Dandys World for a while now, I love it a lot and I’ve been having fun with it, so I thought “Why not make a lil au like I do with all my hyperfixations?”

I’ll tell you more about the au… it’ll be labeled Helios planet/swap au due to helio technically owning the show with guigui, it’s just helio is literally THEE favorite toon (of the au) yada yada I’ll write all this lore down eventually

So obviously this au isn’t going to be labeled opposite au anymore and just a swap au because they don’t really fall under “opposites” anymore besides helio I love you helio…..

This au will be heavily inspired by like those mlp infection aus because I love them and I love creepy stuff…. More stuff will be made regarding lore!!!! And JSUT to clarify

THE TOONS CANONICALLY (au wise) DO NOT HAVE CONFORMED RACES‼️‼️‼️ — I get uncomfortable upon race topics due to how easy it could be to like fuck up…. So I just tend to avoid them in general lolol… you’re free to head canon any one of these babs with whatever race you have in mind though, they’re all adults besides puddles and klay, klay is a kitten a baby awww….

Making comics has made me realize I actually hate Lineart ugh. I hope this one’s quality is a bit better. I still hate the dialogue but I’m not a writer I’m an artist.

I’m not particularly happy with the next couple pages so I might change them, unsure what I’m gonna do. I still haven’t planned the ending either tbh so I need to work on that, I have some ideas.

Me when I remember fruitcake will always be doomed in the context of my AU

Don’t mind the fact that these sizes are definitely not accurate, I just needed to get the idea across

The original Sprout, which would be Twisted Sprout, might not have ever had a Cosmo. Cuz woahhh AU timelines and stuff. Idk if that’s gonna stay accurate tho

I think in my AU, Twisted Sprout wouldn’t even be that aggressive. He still has this sense of protectiveness over the toons, so I don’t think he’d outright attack them, at least not on purpose. Accidents can arise however when you accidentally startle the however-feet-tall, blind, vine beast.

He wishes he could help them more, but he knows the fate that befalls every toon that enters these floors. And no matter how much he wants to, he knows he can’t save them.

I've been playing Dandy's World (Roblox game) nonstop for the past 8-10 (I've lost count) days. And decided to make a crossover Au. Things are still a work in progress, but I have some concept arts and ideas. For now, here are the concepts character sheets

If you don’t want to look up/ play Dandy’s world, here’s a quick summary. I bad at explaining so sorry if it doesn’t make sense

You start by getting in an elevator which takes you to all theses different floors one by one. Toons (players) are tasked with extracting ichor from machines found around the map on each floor. But there are Twisteds (enemies) ;Toons consumed by ichor, patrolling the area as well. If they spot you they will chase you until you lose them. Or they hit you. If they do hit you they will be temporarily stunned/frozen before going back to normal patrol or chase. Most Twisteds have their own stats and or ability to help them find you

Each Toon have a different amount of stats and or ability to difference the play style.

Health: how many times you can hit before you perish

Skill check: when doing a machine sometimes skill checks will appear. This determines how big the skill check is.

Movement Speed: self explanatory

Stamina: how much stamina you have

Stealth: how far a twisted can see you, and what targets Twisteds prioritize

Extraction Speed: how fast you can do machines

Toon also have abilities. Some are passive and are always in play. While others are active and have to be activated, with a cooldown

On every even floor; before you go in, Dandy the face of the company, will appear and offer you items in the exchange for tapes (currency in the round)

Introducing GARDENVIEW DETECTIVE AGENCY, a 20s-themed Dandy’s World AU!

This AU is set in the vibrant city of Gardenview, home to a variety of great food, entertainment, and organized crime more! The main characters are Rodger the private eye and his helpers/adopted kids, Toodles and Glisten!

Could it be that someone is distributing illegally purified Ichor, contributing to the Twisted attacks...?
