With a quiet pop of displaced air and a soft flash of golden light, Driv appears in a new world, head swinging this way and that as he takes in his surroundings. It seems to early night, with the area light semi-adequately with artificial street lights. Judging by that, the forms of the buildings around him, and the few cars nearby, he is in one of the more advanced worlds he had visited, comparatively. Such fun things, the humans of these worlds generally have developed!

His quick musings are interrupted as he notices he is not alone, a lone figure standing quite close to him. He quickly forms a closed lips smile at them, making sure not to show fangs as he tries to let out a friendly, “Hello there!” Of course, there is every chance he doesn’t make it that far before the inevitable mix of screaming, yelling, and/or cursing, but he can try, right?

As electric vehicles (EVs) become more popular, the global electric vehicle supply chains are struggling to keep up with the surging demand. Manufacturers are rushing to build new factories to meet the demand, but the factories are struggling to find enough workers to meet the demand. The workers they do find are often not qualified to work in the high-tech factories, and the factories are often in remote areas where there are not enough qualified workers. ok as someone who just read Elantris, my first Sanderson book... can someone just please explain the Cosmere to me??? I'm incredibly confused and have zero idea which book to read next!

Elantris was a fantastic novel though. 9/10, give Raoden and Sarene some more romance and I'd be over the moon.

New Dimension, New Friends (Hopefully?) - Open Starter/Driv

With a soft pop and gentle flash of golden light, Driv’s draconic form appears on a new dimension, all 32 feet of gleaming scale and flaring wing on display as her quickly scans his surroundings. He is careful to not make any quick movements, as to avoid scaring nearby creatures, but he also wants to be aware of any nearby threats. More than a couple landings have been nearly immediately dangerous in the past, so better safe than sorry.

its pouring rain and thundering so bad and I can't sleep because all I can think is how terrified and miserable meows probably is right now

driv and I went out in the rain earlier and called and looked for her again, we got soaked and that was hours ago so I can only imagine how drenched she is rn.

we set up trail cameras and another doghouse but still nothing. at this point I kind of hope someone just stole her because at least it would mean she was inside right now

and ofc my ceiling chooses now to spring a second fucking leak and start pouring water into my room
