Did you know that February 14 is actually “Necktie Day”? ...No, I didn’t either, but hey, I’m not one to turn down yet another made-up excuse to celebrate silly things. (For anyone who is curious, apparently it’s because dudes supposedly get not only chocolates but also neckties as presents. Right. Gotta sell those neckties somehow, capitalism baby!) 

Anyway, to celebrate said silly thing, AnimeAnime held a vote to find out which anime character wears neckties the best. And hey, it’s not a bad list!

Necktie Man #1: Kaburagi T. Kotetsu from Tiger & Bunny. Placement debatable, because I think he wears that hat better, but I’m not mad at this.

Necktie Man #2: Doug Billingham from Double Decker! Abso-fucking-lutely, he’s my winner, just an old-school detective with a snazzy suit and a snazzy necktie.

Necktie Man #3: Ginoza Nobuchika from Psycho-Pass. Sure, I guess! never made it beyond episode 5 so I can’t judge. That said, Kekkai Sensen’s Steven A. Starphase placed 5th, I think he would have been a better pick here.
